2023.06.09 21:07 FoxD3n Tier 4 Triumph
At 53 I attempted the capstone dungeon for Tier 4 and got absolutely wrecked on my Frenzy/Double Slice custom Barbarian build.
I then spent the next 7 levels farming up gear, unlocking a few paragon things and having a good time and I decided to try it again and I beat it.
Holy cow that capstone boss was hard, every single fireball took me down to 10% HP, but I managed to beat him and now I'm a level 60 in Tier 4.
I immediately did a dungeon and got some Ancestral Upgrades.
No point here, I was just excited and wanted to share.
Fury - Double Swing - Ground Stomp - Challenging Shout - Charge - Berserker.
Capstone Passive - Berserker
My gear focuses on Affixes that add AoE elements to the build. Charge causes enemies to explode, Double Swing causes a Tornado. AoE on Ground Stomp and some defensive things like Fortify and Shield on Elites. I also invested into thorns, taking the extra thorn damage when Berzerking, the thorn challenge shout upgrade.
My basic playstyle is I engage the strongest thing, Ground Stomp and try to burn it down. Thorns helps clear the weaker things, as does the other random AoE damage going out. When stun wears off I charge it into a wall, or use charge to clear trash or create distance. And challenging Shout when things are looking dangerous.

2023.06.09 20:58 BreadInaoven AMR1 Aston Martin
The Aston Martin AMR1 was a Group C formula racing car developed in 1989 for car manufacturer Aston Martin. It participated in the 1989 World Sports Prototype Championship and 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Aston Martin AMR1 Aston Martin racer - 1000kms race - Brands Hatch - 1989 (6976660710).jpg Aston Martin AMR1 at 1989 1000 km Brands Hatch Category Group C sports prototype Constructor Aston Martin Proteus Technologies Designer(s) Max Bostrom Ray Mallock Technical specifications Chassis Carbon-kevlar monocoque Suspension (front) Independent, double wishboned with anti-roll bar Suspension (rear) Independent, double wishboned with anti-roll bar Length 4,780 mm (188.2 in) Width 1,990 mm (78.3 in) Height 1,020 mm (40.2 in) Wheelbase 2,900 mm (114.2 in) Engine Aston Martin (Callaway) RDP87 5,998 cc/6,300 cc alloy V8, Zytec ECU naturally aspirated, mid-longitudinally mounted Transmission 5-speed Manual Weight 902 to 988 kg (1,988 to 2,178 lb) Tyres Goodyear Eagle
Following Aston Martin's racing efforts as an engine supplier for Nimrod Racing and EMKA Racing in the early 1980s, it was decided that Aston Martin would develop their own car for the World Sports Prototype Championship. Thus in late 1987, a partnership between Peter Livanos, Victor Gauntlett, Richard Williams and Ray Mallock - through his shareholding in Scottish racing firm Ecurie Ecosse would be formed, creating a new company known as Proteus Technology Ltd. (Protech). The team would develop and run the AMR1 project, competing for the first time during the 1989 season.
Richard Williams was named as the organisations managing director and team manager. Ray Mallock was engineering director, with him, Max Boxstrom would be the lead designer and Reeves Callaway, of Callaway Cars Incorporated, would build the engine. The chassis and bodywork designed by Boxstrom would be built by British firm Courtaulds. For the engine, Callaway would use 5.3 L V8 units from the newly launched Virage, ending up with a 700 hp (522 kW) 6.0 L engine known as the RDP87. The engine was fitted with a 100 litre fuel cell with a 6.5 litre reserve for extra range. With this combination, a total of four AMR1 chassis would be finished in early 1989.
With AMR1/01 completed, testing began in preparation for the first race at Suzuka Circuit in Japan. Unfortunately, AMR1/01 was involved in an accident during testing at Donington Park and was damaged beyond repair. Thus Aston Martin was forced to skip the first round, incurring a $250,000 fine by FIA's newly amended rule which required C1 cars to enter all round of the season and instead premiered chassis AMR1/01 at Dijon-Prenois, where it finished a disappointing 17th.
Although not part of the World Sports Prototype Championship in 1989, Aston Martin next turned to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Two cars were entered, chassis #01 and #03. The cars unfortunately were underpowered in comparison to their competitors, qualifying 32nd and 40th in a field of 56 cars. During the race itself, the cars were able to run in the mid-pack before AMR1/03 suffered electrical problems and was forced to retire during the first half of the race. AMR1/01 was able to continue on, was able to finish in 11th place overall.
Due to a lack of time between Le Mans and the 3rd round of the World Sports Prototype Championship, Aston Martin decided to skip it, returning instead at Brands Hatch where AMR1/04 took home an exciting 4th-place finish in front of the British crowd, then following it up with an 8th-place finish at the Nürburgring.
For the 6th round of the year, the World Sports Prototype Championship again returned to British soil. Aston Martin therefore decided to run two AMR1s at Donington Park, debuting newly built chassis #05. The two cars were able to finish 6th and 7th. Both cars raced again at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps where Aston Martin suffered their only other failure to finish in the season, chassis #04 having suffered engine failure. However, chassis #05, which had now been upgraded with an even more powerful 720 hp, Version II 6.3 L V8, was able to finish a respectable 7th. For the final round in Mexico, Aston Martin decided to take only chassis #05, where they finished 8th.
Ending the season, Aston Martin had finished 6th in the Teams Championship, behind the factory Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar, and Nissan teams, although they were able to defeat the Toyota team.

2023.06.09 20:51 lonelywolf2543 Combat is slow, but mobs are on steroids?
I don't get it. On one hand, we are given a very slow combat pace from low to midgame (at least from my own experience), but more than half the mobs are even more aggressive than all previous Diablo installments.
So I have an issue that really irks me here. Am I the only one? - Ranged mobs have aim assist, extremely hard to dodge projectiles by sidestepping - Dodge doesn't give you any iframes, you can dodge in a charge and get smacked - Projectiles are super fast all around - The vast majority of melee mobs have a "frenzy" / "fast" modifier and in some places they outright swarm you - Trying to play as ranged is just.. frustrating on some builds, crowd control options are limited
Idk why it feels I walk into a pack of mobs everywhere, instantly lose some hp or get stunned after dodging, popping an invulnerability and then playing the kill-them-faster-than-they-do game.
To make matters worse, some ranged mobs exit your aoes less than 1 sec after you place them and most have very low effect range.
So anyway, I can deal with everything that happens just fine, but the flow of combat on ranged at least feels underwhelming, and doesn't allow you to kite efficiently. Am I the only poor soul that feels like this?

2023.06.09 20:50 MansonMonster Wtf is wrong with shadow raids?
I tried to solo a shadow Throh. I was able to semi easily do Sneasel myself so i figured i had a chance against Throh. Lol. First the purified gems didnt apply to the boss for half the fight and then even when they did - there was no difference.
If a lvl 42 account with a heavy load of 4k+ CP pokemon AND 5 pruified gems can barely bring a pathetic Throh to 1/3rd HP, what type of pay2win account do you even need to solo that? Ridicolous.
And all to force people to play local? Fine, then i will just pass on shadow raids in general from here on out. The animation to combine a purified gem takes way too long anyways, might as well stay on cap and not bother with this rather useless feature.

2023.06.09 20:28 RiskyRedds Ideas for Superconduct
Before I even discuss the thing . . . Just want to put some math on screen.
|EM ||Transformative Reaction bonus ||Superconduct DMG |
|100 ||76.2% ||1275 |
|200 ||145.5% ||1776 |
|300 ||208.7% ||2233 |
|400 ||266.7% ||2653 |
|500 ||320% ||3038 |
|600 ||369.2% ||3395 |
|700 ||414.8% ||3724 |
|800 ||457.1% ||4031 |
|900 ||496.6% ||4316 |
|1000 ||533.3% ||4582 |
|1100 ||567.7% ||4831 |
|1200 ||600% ||5064 |
|1300 ||630.3% ||5263 |
|1400 ||658.8% ||5490 |
|1500 ||685.7% ||5684 |
|1600 ||711.1% ||5868 |
|1700 ||735.1% ||6042 |
|1800 ||757.9% ||6206 |
|1900 ||779.5% ||6362 |
|2000 ||800% ||6511 |
^This^ - is a table showing the damage progression of the Superconduct Elemental Reaction per 100 EM.
To put it in perspective: 6,511 damage is possible from an elemental reaction like Swirl at ~800 EM (an easy Sucrose number; this is also not accounting for chain reactions like Cross-Vape Pyro Swirl into Overload, which is like 30-40k).
I don't know about anyone else, but this is LOW for a reaction, even accounting for the 40% Phys RES Shred (which has fallen off as of late as Phys teams aren't used nearly as often anymore according to server Abyss stats).
I feel like HYV could change that, the way they did for Nilou Bloom.
Here's some ideas:
Just like how Nilou can amplify Bloom reactions to the moon, HYV could introduce a character who's kit specifically revolves around Superconducting. If it's Cryo, I can imagine it being a 2:1 bonus to Superconduct based on CRIT Rate, or +0.6% bonus per 1,000 HP. If it's Electro, I can see it being either +0.9% bonus per 1% ER above 100%, or a bonus to the base damage equal to 25% ATK or 100% EM. ARTIFACTS:
Just like how 4P Flower of Paradise Lost has a direct bonus to Bloom-based reactions, I could see an artifact set that gives a 60% bonus to Superconduct, then after hitting with a skill/burst it adds to the base damage by either a flat amount (like +80), or by 15% EM per stack up to 5 stacks.
Just a little something to get that reaction out of copium territory, or dedicated solely to Phys teams who don't even care about the reaction itself, just its shred.

2023.06.09 20:25 vinnie1550 Hashirama (Reanimated) details
With his new rekit, Hashirama has essentially become one of the top tier Assist type Supports for Attack Missions. His ideal kit will provide a team the following:
- standard HP and CP recovery
- Invincibility for debuff cleanse
- jutsu CD time buff
- EX Boost gauge buff
- Attack buff
- Defense buff
- Crit buff
- Speed buff
- Nature resistances to all jutsu natures
- HP and CP restoration
Hashirama is now the first unit to be able to actually restore both HP and CP while also recovering HP and CP. Standard HP/CP recovery is 10% of your base CP over a period of time. His HP restoration will recover 4% of base health every time he uses his limit break jutsu & his CP restoration recovers a set amount of 420 CP each time he uses his 4 star jutsu.
He is essentially a great team buffer focused on team survivability and Sealing since he can also decrease Seal ailment resistances of units.

2023.06.09 20:15 JustADreamYouHad New Bonus Idea
[Part of unique weapon, not inheritable; for self and allies at start of turn]
"Fellowship" - When an effect relies upon the positions of allies to activate, that specific condition is guaranteed. Contradictory conditions can be met at the same time. All other conditions, including the position of enemies, are not affected.
You can use Solo skills when you're next to an ally. Skills like SpuHone become global.
Excludes all duo/harmonised skills.
I think it's cool because it opens the door for cool stuff without power-creep. Good for units that build upon unique bonuses like Sage Nino. Give them a new inheritable skill like "Joint Drive Blades" for self synergy + fodder.
(I would like to see a similar skill for HP checks one day to accompany Boost tier 4 skills)
