Graphics/art style: Sort of like Nancy Drew Notable characters: The ghost of a little girl, mannequins Hello! I remember playing this game on an old iPad (maybe an air or 3) I believe that it maybe cost a few dollars, maybe $0.99-3.
I believe the game was in 3D and you were able to walk around, I think it was either an asylum or a hospital, either way I remember brick walls and jail bars, I also remember medical supplies being able to be collected and used. I remember the mannequins being around the entire building and very fatal, sort of like a weeping Angel where they only attack you when you turn away from them. I remember there being sort of a “fight scene” between the main character and the little girl, she is in the form of a spirit orb and the mannequins are surrounding the MC and the little girl uses them to attack the MC. This is the final scene in the game, at least as far as I know because we never got past it lol. I played it as a kid with my mom and I asked her and she doesn’t remember the name either.

I’ve found a lot of comfort in seeing these discussions where people have gone through the mind-fuckery of a relationship with a pwBPD. I see a lot of posts about people being discarded by their pwBPD, but I haven’t seen much from those who have been the one to end the relationship despite the pwBPD being desperate to hang on.
In my case, the final straw was pulled by him emotionally cheating again after a handful of instances throughout our year-long relationship.
It’s been a confusing mess of a time inside my head in the 3 weeks since the breakup, because I know he loved me intensely, but I guess his fears of abandonment and need for validation were more intense. Despite this, even though he violated my trust and took me for granted, I’m still left here feeling like i really have abandoned him and re-traumatised him. Especially when he texts me begging and pleading not to leave, to give him another chance, that he wants to prove himself to me and get better. I think he was even in A&E last night, (somewhere he’s visited many times over the course of our relationship) judging by his social media. Normally I would be there with him so all i can think is how much pain he must be going through by being alone again.
I neglected myself for a whole year whilst trying to help him heal and now i’m really grappling with my decision to break the cycle and stop believing that he will be able to grow from this behaviour.
I worry that if I don’t, he will just take advantage of my weak boundaries if i continue to forgive him for having romantic conversations with other girls (whether he can help it or not I’m not even sure, he often said his behaviours were not a “choice” for him), but i hate to give up on him because he can be an absolute angel when he’s not experiencing his severe symptoms, and i know he wants to try and be better and do right by me. But i just don’t think he’s capable, or that I have the capacity for this anymore.
I know that for my own health i need to stick to my guns, but I don’t see much discussion about similar situations where you have to leave someone who is essentially a traumatised child and deal with the guilt and pain of it afterwards. Maybe I’ve just missed out on seeing those posts, but does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences they would like to share?

However my grandfather died recently, and it caused my dads alcoholism to get even worse. His legs became impaired so he struggled to walk and went into rehab, relapsed, then seemed to get better again. At that point he got the apartment in my district, three days into living there he forgot to pick me up from school (we hadn’t set up with the bus yet) and wouldn’t answer my calls. I called my cousin to come get me and drove me back to the apartment. When we got there we found him drunk and crying he kept apologizing but not making sense and went into his room. I grabbed my stuff to go with my cousin to my aunts (who had been taking care of me while he was in rehab) but before I left I went in his room to search for alcohol. When I found the bottle and confronted him he kept saying he wanted to end it and I saw he had grabbed one of his guns and was pointing it as himself so I grabbed it away from him and passed it to my cousin, she ran out to call the police and I held him there until the police got there to make sure he didn’t grab one of his other guns. Two weeks later he’s out of the psychiatric place and living at the apartment but I am now living with my aunt. My school found out about this and since I no longer will be “living in the district” they won’t let me come back next year even though my dad still will be living there still and is paying the school tax. I was told the school only made exceptions for 12th graders not living in the district but I will be going into 11th grade so they can’t make any for me.
Is there anything I can do so that I can keep going to my school even though I won’t be physically living with my dad. I know it may seem like a stupid thing to worry about but my school has been the only thing Ive been living for for a while now. I lost both my parents, my dogs (who live with my mom still), my home, and most of my belongings. Doing good in school has always been the only thing I could do right in my life and I have already planned out my courses and clubs and everything, I can’t take losing that too. I don’t want to hurt my family and friends the way my dad tried to but if I can’t find a way to stay in my school I don’t know what I am going to do. I know it’s irrational but I can’t help it.
I’m desperate for any kind of answer at this point, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

The Holy Virgin Martyrs Archelais, Thekla and Susanna sought salvation in a small monastery near Rome. During the persecution by Diocletian (284-305), the holy virgins dressed themselves in men’s clothing, cut their hair and went to the Italian province of Campania. Settling in a remote area, they continued to pursue an ascetical life of fasting and prayer. They received the gift of healing from God, and treated the local inhabitants, converting many pagans to Christ.
When the governor of the district heard about them, he had them brought to Salerno. He threatened Saint Archelais with torture and death if she did not offer sacrifice to idols. With firm hope in the Lord, the saint refused to submit to the command, and she denounced the folly of worshipping soulless statues. Then the governor ordered the saint to be torn apart by hungry lions, but the beasts meekly lay at her feet. In a rage the governor ordered the lions to be killed, and locked the holy virgins in prison.
In the morning, having suspended Saint Archelais, the torturers began to rake her with iron utensils and pour hot tar on the wounds. The saint prayed even more loudly, and suddenly a light shone over her and a voice was heard, “Fear not, for I am with you.”
The saint was defended by the power of God. When they wanted to crush her with an immense stone, an angel pushed it to the other side, and it crushed the torturers instead. A judge ordered soldiers to behead the holy virgins, but the soldiers did not dare to put their hands upon the saints. Then Saints Archelais, Thekla and Susanna said to the soldiers, “If you do not fulfill the command, you shall have no respect from us.” The holy martyrs were beheaded in 293.
In the nineteenth century, Saint Susanna appeared to a disciple of Elder Boniface saying, “We must pray to God with the soul, the mind, and the heart.” She is described as a maiden of untold beauty, with a soft, pleasant voice.

Hi everyone!
We live in central Europe and we're going into full blown summer here. Currently days are about 25° and it's not common to have AC where we live.
My problem is that this affects my LO's (5 months) sleep, specifically his day naps.
We already go through a relatively tough time having a routine and keeping up to his wake windows. Baby basically went from 30 min naps in his crib and +1 hour in the carrier to 15 min naps and maybe he'll let me put him in the carrier. We do get lucky sometimes, but it's not nearly enough.
And poor baby gets really cranky and overtired. I really don't know how to help him.

First off I would like to applaud to writers, directors, artists, actors and sound designers of Blizz. I have to admit that I enjoyed every bit of the story and cutscenes, which were also emotional at times. Plot of the D4 was so well written and executed that it constantly keeps you on the seesaw who the bad guy really is.
I would just like to reflect my thoughts on the last part of the main battle cutscene which is masterfully done.
To give the preface. As you know Lilith and Inarius both created Sanctuary and the Nephalem, who were their "children".
After realizing Nephalem are in danger, she was the one who slain all the demons and angels to protect them. After Inarius casted her out as he considered that as act of treason from her. So initially, she was the one that had role of the loving mother who would do anything to save her children. When she was banished from Sanctuary, Nephalem lost all their powers by the doings of Inarius thru the Worldstone and they became humans who didn't remember who they were. They worshiped Inarius as their savior, the one who didn't love them or cared for them. The one who was afraid of them in the first place.
You could imagine Lilith felt betrayed from Inarius. They both felt betrayed from each other, but for different reasons and motives. To make things worse, Inarius killed their only true child, Rathma. In the scene of the Rathma's temple where he lies dead, Lilith shows unconditional love of a mother by saying "I don't know if you would have chosen to stand beside me in this new world, Rathma, but I would have saved your place just the same.". Now, the cutscene of the final battle was perfectly executed ending of Lilith's and Inarius failed relationship. It also showed the irony of worshipers of Inarius. Especially after everything Inarus said Prave says "In his glory." and yells few moments later "See the work of your faith!". Before the game launch we all thought it was the Lilith who yelled that. But oh, the sweet irony in the end. Lilith in this cutscene is very much a deeply wounded woman with disappointment and loss so great, it turned into cunning hatred. She doesn't attack, doesn't yell. She has very feminine manners. Talks calmly while Inrius's anger grows. Bold, blatant masculinity on the other side. Blind to see or hear. Lilith knew what she wants to achieve. Shedevil wisely asks questions that expose Inarius for his selfish nature. Inarius didn't care about Sanctuary and it's people. They were peons to him. He calls Sanctuary abomination. He killed their own son for the sake of his selfish motive, to return to Heavens. Prava and Cathedral of Light were the fools worshiping the one who didn't care about them, who would destroy them all for his own sake. Horadrim too. His words still hurt her one last time. You can see that when she talks to him while turned her back at him. Lack of his remorse for Rathma was the final blow to her. She even spreads her hands before he impaled her. She shown to be everything that he's not. Willing to sacrifice herself for the cause instead someone else, like Inarius did. Pay close attention to the dialogue and hers facial expressions. https://youtu.be/QChdsNSylKo?t=3903 I think that because of that last scene where Inarius comes forth about how cruel, selfish and self-absorbed he really is, is prob the final reason why Heavens abandoned him and didn't interfere. Heavens didn't rejoice in the lack of virtue, let alone a murder. Lilith was able to tear his wings apart and says to him that he belongs in Hell (not to Hell) for who he really is. It was personal.
For me in the wider picture, the true guardian of the Sanctuary was Lilith in the end. This is ofc how my interpretation of the story and how I experienced it.
Anyway, all I can do is to applaud from my humble chair. D4 story was delight of it's own, if anything it moved me. Bravoo!

I just got back from visiting his home in California, and I miss him already. During my trip, we exchanged "I love yous," and he said that he didn't want to lose me. He was so sweet, polite, and patient. When I had a bad stumach ache, he was very kind and gave me some medicine even though he had already settled into bed and got all cozy watching his favorite show. When I had a panic attack when we went to the beach due to the crowds, he held my hand and walked me away from the crowds and made sure I was okay. I love this man, and I dream of the day I get to see him again. I'll miss sleeping next to him and cuddling on his chest. I miss the smell of his long hair, the cool guitars, and the backstage passes he had hanging up on the walls of his apartment. I miss hearing about his job as a tv audio editor. I miss sipping cocktails beside him and the soft whispers in my ear during lovemaking. My trip in LA wasn't perfect by all means - the panic attacks, the stumach aches, and the crowds. But we both got through it all. I miss my angel. I hope I see him again someday.

i know all of the DPA are, but i’m doing a platinum run at the moment of LH and i’m feeling so much empathy for the bus driver and appreciation of will poulter’s performance.
yes, people can die in all the games, but to have everyone bar anthony be dead before you can even change anything? dang, that’s tough. and watching anthony’s face as he sees his dad and siblings go was just heartbreaking.
i never took this in playing it the first time because i was just excited to get going (and desensitised to supermassive prologue deaths from UD and MoM 🤣)
