I have been using Door Dash for years, but very rarely. I paid for the Dash Pass last fall because I was without a car for a while. Year subscription. And I have used it quite often since then. I have never had any issues getting a refund on missing or incorrect items. I keep seeing customers saying DD won’t give refunds, so let me tell you what they did for me last week. Put pressure on DD support to do the same for you.
I ordered Popeyes for myself and my friends. It was a $58 order. I tipped like $8 or something. The store closest to me .5 miles was closed apparently, so it sent my order to one a couple miles away. Dasher gets there, drive thru doesn’t move for 10 minutes. Dasher goes inside and the lobby is packed. Not a single employee helping anyone in the lobby. Dasher lets me know what’s going on. I contact support so they can cancel my order and refund me. Not only did they refund my order for me, they gave me $30 credit as an apology. I didn’t even ask for that. I wasn’t even really mad, just pissy with Popeyes because they always suck.
I had a double dash, so my dasher got the second order and brought it to me after the first was cancelled. I made sure to tip extra since she didn’t get the full tip from it being cancelled.
Do not let DD support tell you that they can’t refund you. Don’t expect big apology credits, but if you are owed, they should and can refund you. It is not your fault the system is broken.

I'll try to be as honest as I can regarding my situation and why I personally think I might be stuck in this situation and would like everyone else's thoughts. So, as the title says, I've never had a relationship before, lately it's kind of been fucking with my mind that I cannot find someone attracted to me. It sucks because it's gotten to a point that my mum told me recently that my grandma asked if i wanted to go through an arranged marriage. Kinda making me feel as if I really wasn't worthy of love.
Some problems that I've come across so far that I think are preventing me from getting a relationship are:

1. I don't really meet enough people. Doesn't help that I'm not into dating apps. Guess I'll have to rely on hobbies to meet others which I am slowly picking up.
2. I have never actually confessed/asked someone out before (Probably because of some deeply rooted fears/insecurities or because I am just a fucking pussy who will take rejection too personally) Falling for people in friend groups are fucking me over too.
3. I am too easy, I think. I am available all the time, always on social media, will reply within a few minutes. Need to find happiness in a way that either keeps me busy or be outside more often. I definitely starve for affection, growing up it's something I never really had.
4. I have realised in the past few years that I am sort of an unreliable person. Sure, I am easy to talk and be friends with but not reliable in a sense that makes someone feel safe? Don't really know how to word it but that's what I feel I need to improve on.
5. I'm a pretty boring person lol.. doesn't help that I've been super stingy over the past years (I have gotten much better though..)

Hey everyone,
I wanted to talk about something that has been bothering me lately, and that is the use of foul language in this "pure" community. As we all know, the words we use reflect the state of our minds, and if our minds are filled with negativity and impurities, it will reflect in our language.
Let's make an effort to use words that uplift, encourage and inspire one another. It's also important to remember that people from all walks of life come to this sub, and some may be uncomfortable with certain words or phrases.
So, I'd like to propose that we all make a conscious effort to avoid using any foul language in our posts and comments moving forward. Personally, I've installed an advanced profanity filter on my laptop, and I encourage everyone to do the same. We can still express ourselves passionately and strongly without resorting to insults or offensive language.
Remember, the change starts with us. If we work on purifying our minds, the use of foul language will automatically go away.

I often hear people ask the question: how many people must I talk to before I start getting results? Like it’s a video game, and they are asking how many little battles must they go through before their character levels up? These people look at each interaction as simply a means to an end, and don’t really care about the specific interactions.
This apathy and lack of genuine engagement results in most of the interactions going nowhere.
If you are not fully present and authentic in the interactions, you should not expect to form a connection. If you are not enjoying the interactions, most likely neither is the other person.
The reason that this brute force teaching strategy is popular with many social coaches is that it allows them to use the numbers game to their advantage. If they throw you into a 100 interactions, and one ends positively, they can then take credit for it.
They don’t have to actually listen and then critique the individual interactions and try to improve your average conversations. Nor do they even need to necessarily provide good advice.
This going through the motions without authentically engaging the other person while potentially also applying bad advice is most likely why you are not seeing results.
You need to learn to enjoy the process, and that will be hard if you view interacting with people as tiresome work that’s simply a means to an end.

Someone was asking about rules for item creation on here and I thought I'd share something I came up with for one of my past campaigns.
Every player had their own in-world job, so each had a little mini game around said job. The Ranger was a monster hunter (naturally)
Whenever the party defeated a monster, the ranger could harvest monster parts with a survival check. Depending on how well the check did, the item was worth one to three "stars".
Depending on what monster parts they sold in town, that "material" became available to local crafters to make magic items for people to buy. (I didn't make them track quantity, just quality of material). If they sold really high quality ingredients, really good magic items became available.
It was cool to see the party plot what they were going to sell, and it gave me nice control, and creativity over what items would become available to them.

I have a 3 zone mini split I just installed. Standing PSI is at 110. When one air handler goes on it drops to 40 when I turned the second one on it sits at 70 PSI. I ran a standing vacuum test and followed my lines and don’t see any leaks. I’m gonna add some more refrigerant but not sure how much. Maybe to 160 standing PSI?
The manual doesn’t say what the system should be at only how much to add after going over 75ft of line. The third indoor unit is not installed yet but the 2 current circuits are at the about the max 75 feet already. 49ft on the line going up to the second floor and 25ft on the line going to the first floor. I think 160 standing PSI would be good but I don’t want to overfill.

My laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 6) keyboard doesn't have a Menu/Context-Menu button (same as right click on mouse). Previously on Windows I could remapped the PrtSc button to be Menu, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this in Ubuntu (23.04, GNOME 44.0).
It doesn't seem to be in [Settings>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts], and I've had a go with modifying the endev file with no luck either. All other suggestions online are many many years old so I don't think they'd work.
Is there a suggested app, GUI, or config file I can do achieve this?

My wife & I (& dog) are going to meet our friends in Boston, after that we are planning to do the following route.

We are not big into museums, we love walking in the city, exploring the streets & local foods.
We want to turn this into all our camping trip - easy with the dog as well. I am looking for recommendations on best places to camp near these cities.

In an effort to ease some minds and allow people to disassociate with the current stock price I had some thoughts at how shareholders could receive something regardless of the restricting. Again all these are speculative but just some different avenues. To me these would be worst case, I definitely don’t think they are more probably than us squeezing the shit out of shorts and going on Tour with Pulte and T Swift next summer.
1). Take a look at sears as an example. It’s been a long drawn out bankruptcy in which the restricting plan was f’d up by lawyers. Several years and law suits later there is a chance share holders will get a pay out.
IMO if Gove and company truly ran us into the ground while diluting massively then there will be a lot of pissed share holders and lawyers looking to make a buck. I keep going back to the EToro interview and the evidence in the filings that bankruptcy papers were being worked on in Dec-Feb. I also look at how big of a lie we were told that we’d go bankrupt if we couldn’t do the S vote and then not even holding the vote.
There is clearly some fuckery if this company just falls apart and liquidates. It wouldn’t be sexy but I think share holders would get atleast $50 million from potential lawsuits.
So based on 739 million that could be .15 cents a share. Could obviously be a huge range based on what’s uncovered but I don’t thing $50 is a stretch.
2) The cohen class action. We will see what happens there, I believe it’s on hold during bankruptcy. However if cohen is not involved anymore, there could be some leniency from a judge to help out share holders who got screwed. I think that was in the 60 million range that Cohen would potentially pay back to share holders for the pump and dump.
So really what I’m trying to say is current SP could be a low as far as how share holders will make out.
I hope none of this happens, but hope it eases some of you that there are options to recover some money if they end up wiping out Share Holders.

I am working on paying off debt, and I wanted to come up with a plan for the future.
I want to build credit, but the idea of more than one or two credit cards consistently seems like a lot for me to manage.
What is a good plan for building credit without credit cards?
Are there other options? Or can I just only use one card at a time as I go from secured, to unsecured, to high limit cards?

As crazy as it sounds, I am very concerned and I am not sure what to do with my dog.
For my whole life I owned cats but I’ve always wanted a dog. As they require more attention, having to commute everyday for work didn’t allowed me to have enough time to dedicate to a dog until the pandemic hit. My company closed all the offices, we all started working from home and I no longer needed to commute. It was very nice to get to spend more time at my house with my family but we decided that was the perfect time to add a new member to our family and soon enough we adopted a puppy. He was 6 months old by that time, now he’s 3 years old. We aren’t sure about his breed but I see some lab traces. Well, since we brought him home we gave him all love and all attention he needed but as time passed it turned out to be a nightmare. I know a good dog needs a lot of patience, we just wanted him to be somehow independent and handle well if we have to leave the house to run errands or need our own space. We spent a lot of money for the trainers since he was a puppy but It didn’t work much, he always had his own stubborn personality but never violent. He can’t handle being alone in a different room with no human presence and the main issue is the excessive barking. Over the years we tried everything, even giving him anxiety medications, take to a dog day care, bones and activities to stimulate him but it keeps getting worse and worse. He loudly bark at any single noise, the mailman, a person walking by the sidewalk or even the wind shaking the trees, any outside noise it’s a good reason to start barking and it usually takes 10-20 min to settle down again, we tried giving him treats to get his attention back but he isn’t too interested and there’s literally nothing we can do about that. It’s a major problem during the night, we can’t sleep when he barks and our energy levels dramatically decreased over the years, I feel like we have a forever newborn at home thats unpredictable and we need to be always on call. We tried to crate him or have him sleep in another room or the basement to give ourselves some space but seems like it makes it worse, if he’s crate free, he will destroy anything he sees to get our attention back, we no longer have a couch on our basement because he teared it apart when we tried having him sleeping off crate. If crated, he barks as much as he can until he’s out, it can be heard from outside and disturbs the neighbors. During the business hours when I am working I usually had him in the office with me but the excessive barking made impossible to conduct my work meetings and my work performance has been so bad since I don’t have energy to focus and lack of sleep. I used to love going to the gym and taking care of myself but having the dog made me change who I am and I feel terrible. He barks all night and we are developing health issues due stress levels. My boss suggested get rid of the dog and I didn’t do it because I have hope he will get old and it will change. I no longer have the job and the reason is the dog. It’s a really complicated situation and I don’t know how to deal with it.

First, there is this part when Poppy can't contact her grandmother, but she doesn't think much of it at the time, so her and the MC go on their merry adventuring together. Then, when that's done, they have a talk. Poppy finds it suspicious that the poachers would not come after us in revenge, with how we made ourselves their enemy. And then she has a sinister realization: "Unless... they haven't let things lie!" And she runs off, without telling us what's up.
At that point, it became clear to me that the poachers went after Poppy's gran, and I was left guessing what the outcome would be.
Did they kidnap her, and would Poppy and I go on a rescue mission now?
Did they kill her, and will Poppy go on a dark path for revenge?
Neither, because the whole situation was a big nothing burger. The old lady had dealt with the poachers on her own, and that's the end of it.
Huh.
That was just about the least interesting, most anti-climactic way that situation could have played out, but was it really that simple?
Later on, when we meet the centaurs, Poppy seems super concerned over how wise, perceptive and knowing they are. She basically has "I have something to hide" written on her forehead. So, a twist is coming, right?
How do we know that Poppy's gran had managed to chase off the poachers? That's right, from Poppy... who is clearly hiding something now.
What if the poachers had kidnapped her and are using her as a hostage to force Poppy to lead them to the snidgets - an extremely valuable and rare animal?
Nah. Of course not. The writers of this game just don't do twists. Everything is always exactly what it seems.
So, what is Poppy acting suspicious about? Oh, she has some survivor's guilt because her parents are poachers, but don't worry, not the ones we're fighting right now. Her folks are abroad, doing plot irrelevant stuff. They're not here, they don't work for Rookwood and Harlow, so, of course, no big, dramatic confrontation where she has to battle her own mom and dad.
Just another piece of potential wasted.
Seriously, what's with these writers?

We have been talking for afew months now. And made it official alittle less then a month ago. Anyways, she has had I wanna say around 3 breakdowns. I think I can handle it at first but then she starts yelling at me and I get upset bcuz all I'm trying to do is help. It's messed up of me but In the fight or flight response for that it's flight and that's not okay. I want to be there for her but I don't know how to stop getting butthurt when she's going through these hard times. I find it hard to separate my emotions and then it's made about me and thats not okay. I guess im looking for help on how to just allow someone to breakdown without taking anything personal. This May not even make since I'm running on 2 hours of sleep. I hope someone has some good advice for me. Have a lovely day.

So I have a couple of questions about this robot. One, does it learn more as it cleans more. After I send it on a run does it learn more about the floor plan. Also, do I have to remap my house if I open up a new room to it, or will it automatically go in there and add it to my current map. I know that iRobot software locks certain features between different models to make you want to spend more.
