It was really hard to get the gold mario in Mario kart 8 deluxe 😅😅 is there a way to move that data??

Late frenzies had broken my combos more than I’d like to admit.
In other Mario Kart games, you can spam the item button to make your item usable sooner.
In Tour I did have a few occasions where my item draws were faster than normal, so it is possible. But how do you do that consistently? Tapping screen does nothing to me.

Mario kart is first and foremost a racing game. The best in driving should logically arrive first. The problem with items knocking out other competitors, every race is a lottery. Before managing to have all the opponents without badges which allow you to drive your driver a little serenely (in order to make a record for exemple), you have to go through a good dozen repetitions of the same race where you will be attacked more or less frustrating and infuriating. How many times have I been able to do a 'perfect' race capable of improving my record, only to be knocked out by one or more shells almost at the foot of the finish line.
Not to mention the races where you get knocked out repeatedly. I have the impression of the daily quick race, which previously was a quiet discovery of the circuit, prior to the allocation of the daily prize, is now a 'race' to get ripped off.
Of course, I will be told that it is just an unfavorable RNG problem. But I think the random leans on the side of the scales which makes the game more and more unpleasant and boring than in the past.
Since Nintendo fixed the glitch that allowed to remove the competitors badge, it seems worse to me than before, and yet I haven't overused this glitch.

Also, it would be nice to have a few races where there are no destructive items available, or no items at all. Or have an option as a parameter in the game.
Just to have the pleasure of racing where everyone is measured with the same abilities. Maybe even introduce one such race in the ranked cup of the week.
Unfortunately, even in local multiplayer it is not possible to remove all items, there must be at least one.
To stay in the current scheme, especially with such a number of cups to be processed each fortnight, I fear that Mario's disinterest will become more and more noticeable (as far as I am concerned).

My mom had a CT scan last week after an abnormality popped up on a chest X-ray. Her follow-up with her primary isn’t for two weeks, but I got a copy of the report today, and I’m devastated. The radiologist is “highly concerned” that she has multiple signs of stage 4 lung cancer that’s metastasized to her liver.

Her life has just been one misfortunate after another, but in the last year, we went from piss poor to completely comfortable, she got sober, started therapy, got healthcare, got her own income through SS, started indulging in nice things for herself, went on vacations, and daydreamed about the house I promised to buy her. We were planning to move to somewhere bigger and nicer this summer in a brand new city, and I started the paperwork to get us passports so I could take her on her dream trip to Australia. I’ve been so proud of her, and this feels so outlandishly and cosmically cruel that I want to believe in a God just so I can drag him down and spit in his face.
I keep hoping that somehow all of the lumps and bumps from the report magically wont be anything by the time we sit down with her doctor, but I know better. What am I supposed to do now? So, when i was but a youngling (~2009 ish) i played a racing game involving toys (they were the characters you could pick to race with). I do not remember many details, but i remember that one of the toys was a soldier man with a green helmet, and his car was a mini SUV/jeep. I also remember that the game had a power up system like in mario kart, and one of these powers was a rocket you could launch at other cars, and i believe it was teleguided but i'm not entirelly sure.
The game style was something like a normal 3D looking one, i can't remember anything more than this, sorry.
I really would like to find it, because when i played the game it was on a trial version that only lasted about 10 minutes every time you launched the game, so now that i can buy games i'd like to make my child self happy.

I would tell you that you should buy it on 3DS virtual console, but Nintendo doesn't actually want you buying games on a console that's a whole... one generation old. So maybe take this as a chance to use ares, a multi-system emulator started by Near of bsnes and higan fame, now developed by Luke Usher and others. It's come a long way and is now a very good option for emulating Sega games.
