Curious about Hematocrit and Prolactin

2023.06.02 15:43 Catch3387 Curious about Hematocrit and Prolactin

Bloods taken at trough as usual. Should I consider donating blood with my Hematocrit at this level? Also, what the hell could be elevating my Prolactin? The only med I’m on is Test Cyp. Is this level anything I should be concerned about? TIA

Curious about Hematocrit and Prolactin
This is my second round of bloodwork since starting TRT a few months ago. Bloods taken at trough as usual. Is this Hematocrit level when I should consider donating blood? Also, what could be causing the elevated prolactin? Is that level anything that should warrant concern? Thanks in advance!

2023.06.01 01:33 User_3971 MHA/CCA/PSE/RCA: Skip the line! Career jobs posted within. 5-31 rollup.

Damn it, lost a day! Had Memorial Day off but got fucked (mandated to work) on Saturday. Threw off the timing. Super-rare Wednesday edition!
Good afternoon. Brief listing of CAREER JOBS pulled from usps.com/careers/ for your convenience. Tell HR User_3971 sent you, let's see if they pay more than .25¢ per head. NOTE: Maintenance jobs are drying up - the In Service Register may finally be seeing results for our already career people.
Some jobs may be part-time regular however all listed jobs should qualify for federal benefits from day one. To save text I have only listed the location and date of posting for each. Use the posting number for your search term. LC and MM are entry-level Maintenance. Here is a Maint overview and here is Exam 955 info. You can DO it!

NOTE: USPS NEVER charges a fee for entrance exams. If payment is requested during the application process, walk the fuck away, go to usps.com/careers/ and APPLY THERE. We even has a video walkthrough prepared.

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc. Always mention working safely.

Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books, you are a qualified applicant.

Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.

USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)

You don't have to be crazy to work here. We'll train you. Everything but proper email usage.

2) Not really a question, but I'm still a little nervous about meeting the financial requirements for I-864. I would like some assurance that as long as my current gross income exceeds the federal poverty guidelines by 125%, I'm good to go.
3) Do I need a cover letter for each form? If so, do I need the full list (as above) or only the information that pertains to that form?
4) I already got the I-693 medical examination even though I'm not sure it's needed for AoS. Should I still include it or hold onto it?
5) Do I need to mark the outside mailing envelope with the names of all the forms included? Or should I just indicate it is form I-485?

2023.04.26 05:28 notacopyjustacat to be towed or not to be towed? that is the question! and also: be gone foul beast!

hi reddit
I have a story but its not finished and I could use your help figuring out how it can end...
so once upon a time on a random rainy day (today) in North Texas in the land of Lewisville and The Colony on the streets of Bunker Hill I went to run errands and I took my two dogs with me (one is my boyfriends. the other is both of ours). I made three stops blah blah blah then we all came back its important to note that I was at my boyfriends house when I went to and came from my errands and he lives in a trailer park
when we turned into the neighborhood there was a white truck with an attachment on its hitch and a white golf cart all parked across the street from his house and a bunch more trucks parked further down the same street (so the vehicles were parked along the curb in front of the neighbors house that was across the street from his house) and there were a bunch of men randomly scattered about (in the car, in the attachment, standing by the car, on the street, about four total in my line of sight I would say but there were more than I could see). I didnt know what all these vehicles were doing there but they made it difficult to pull into the driveway (I always reverse park).
I was about ten yards from the door to the house so I let the dogs out of the car to run up to the porch. I had no intention of walking them or anything. they normally run straight into the house. the dogs instead ran to the grass to pee and then saw all the men and one of the dogs went running to bark at them (mind you the one that started barking is a small chihuahua) and the guy who ran away like a little girl was a wrinkly bald old white raisin of a man who is almost seven feet tall (not grandpa old. young enough to still be considered fit but probably looked way older than he was. think or picture: energy of a forty year old)... but he acted as though he were in fear for his life... his reaction was a total overreaction despite how small the dog is... I digress...
the man started yelling at me that they need to be on a leash. obviously I and every other dog owner are aware of this rule so I didnt acknowledge the man. I simply walked up to my dogs and attempted to make what I thought would be a quick and easy catch and retireve of them both and walk away from the situation without having to utter a word. but instead my boyfriends dog (the chihuahua who is literally all bark and no bite - he has never bitten anyone and doesnt try) kept stepping away from me when I approached him and my other dog (a mini golden doodle) usually follows him to get him under control but nothing she or I was doing was working on the chihuahua and even my doodle was not listening to me because she was too preoccupied trying to get the chihuahua to chill.
meanwhile the man is yelling at me over and over at this point that my dogs need to be leashed... while he can clearly see I am trying to catch both of them... and even if I had a leash it would be useless until I could actually grab them...
so at some point I lose my patience because my dogs wont listen and the man wont stop shouting at me so I say to him "can't you see I am trying to catch them?? what do you want me to say?" then this guy with thinner skin than a grandma starts threatening me (even though my dog has done nothing to him except bark... and according to any psychoanalyst would be and [still] is considered normal behavior for a dog...) but back to the threats.
this guy starts saying "if I catch that dog I am impounding him" and "if he bites me hes gone" which the dog never even attempted to do and THEN the man continues to go look at the house number for the driveway I parked in and says "### I am gonna remember that" and then tells all his little buddies that work beneath him "lets go" and they drive a little further down the road to go harass the other neighbors (I later found out this guy is the property manager which is almost unbelievable based on his behavior to the situation). at this point my golden doodle has run up to the porch and the chihuahua literally just runs off so I am freaking out that he will get caught and taken to the pound or worse... but I have no choice but to wait and hope he comes back because chasing him down will not lead to capture. the neighborhood is huuuuuge so he can run anywhere.
I go back inside to wait and call my boyfriend to tell him the situation. while I am on the phone with him the dog decides to show up so I hang up with my boyfriend. I let the dog in and scold him big time. then I stay indoors still bothered by the dog and the situation that unfolded because of him but I slowly cool off because its over.
UNTIL my boyfriends mom shows up (who doesnt speak English...) but she walks inside and calls my name in a frantic way and starts speaking to me in the only dialect she knows: spanish, which I know enough of to be dangerous but not enough to be fluent. but it sounded like she was talking about a car that was taken or missing. I am surprised by what she is saying because my car was the only one in the driveway when I left. she is gesturing for me to go outside and she hands me her phone which has a call connected to my boyfriend. I ask him what his mom is saying. he tells me to just go outside so I grab shoes and walk to the curb. there I see his motorcycle fixing to be loaded onto a tow truck...
I know this is a long story but I am getting to the end where I need help... so the bike is not hooked or even on the tow truck yet. I start talking to the guy and ask him why this is being done. this is the first tow truck driver I have ever met that has a heart. he tells me he was instructed to by the manager. I ask who that is (this is when I find out who that one wrinkly guy was that shouted at me). I describe the guy and he confirms my details and I realize its the same person. I ask the driver if he is only towing our bike or if he plans on doing the whole neighborhood or if he has done anyone else already. he says yes and that he has already towed three. I ask him if we can wheel it onto the driveway and let that be that and that theres no reason for this but he apologizes sincerely over and over but says he has to do it if he is instructed. he tells me I can try to talk to management and if they change their mind he wont tow it. he tells me there is a lady in charge and the man is working under her. so I agree to try and the driver says he will wait until I return with an answer.
I walk to the office. my boyfriends mom follows me. the door is locked.... (not supposed to be locked during business hours...) there are two doors. I try both but neither will open. then someone suddenly opens the main door from the inside. there is a crowd of people (I later discover I believe they are part of the staff as they all later get in the vehicles that were parked in front of my boyfriends house earlier...) so I say excuse me to everyone I pass until I find management and ask to speak to the lady. the same pasty bald wrinkly toothpick of a man is standing there and the lady that the tow driver told me to speak with is standing right next to him. I try to speak to her but she never looks up or even acknowledges me. then the shriveled up beansprout man says all rudely "are you ### (the house number)?" I dont bother looking at him, and the lady beside him I assume starts looking up the house number and whoevers name is on the lease because thr guy turns to look at a screen in her hand and then he starts asking for my boyfriends dad (who is working and not present but whose name is on the lease). then my boyfriends mom identifies herself as the wife. she tries to talk to him and ask him about the bike. she barely utters one full sentence and the property manager swears at her. she doesnt respond. we both walk out the door. the used-up-condom-looking-man hops in the golf cart with the lady who never spoke and they drive back over towards my boyfriends house and pull up beside the tow truck and the driver and I can see them speaking to the tow truck people but idk what was said. then they drive away down the street but dont go far enough to be out of sight. me and his mom walk back to the house and stand by the bike while it gets hooked to the truck. we feel helpless watching them take it away. and my boyfriends mom goes inside to grab cash (like 300$) but the driver refuses to accept it. albeit he is extremely apologetic and wishes he could make an executive decision to leave it but says he cant. meanwhile I notice the golf-cart-duo-from-hell turned back around and start driving our way but parked three or four houses down to stop to watch as we can do nothing to stop the bike from being towed. the bike ends up being towed and I am just fuming because this was an obvious and egregious abuse of power from the new and obviously ill-fitted property manager.
additional information to make this guy look as bad as he actually is are these: he refused to help my boyfriends mom with her inquiries even though its managements job to find or make an attempt to remedy the situation and that is why the office is open and available to tenants if or when something needs to be addressed and mind you when we approached them it was hours before the office closed (like maybe around one possibly a little earlier but not later than two) so its not like they didnt have time. not only was this guy blatantly unhelpful but he swore at her (my boyfriends mom - a tenant) when he dismissed her inquiries, which is both unprofessional conduct and absolutely inexcusable and would never be allowed in another place of business. then he refused to provide his information (a business card that was requested) to my boyfriends sister-in-law (another tenant who lives in the area) so she has no way to contact him other than to try to visit during office hours even though she has three kids to take care of - all toddler or younger . AND my boyfriends sister-in-law has damage to her property that needs to be fixed by management that she addressed to them via email in early March 2023 but her requests have still gone unacknowledged and unattended (we are now in late April 2023 almost May 2023) which is a breach of contract. I am trying to figure out a way to find the property managers information so I can make a formal complaint to corporate but I have looked and cant find it anywhere. If anyone has any tips on how to do this please share because the guy is brand new as of this february (feb 2023) and if this is the kind of treatment this neighborhood can expect from him then I need to figure out how to address these issues and see if its enough to have him removed from the position and have it filled with someone better because all of what we witnessed today was intolerable and flat out outrageous.
but going back to the bike and the whole reason for posting this and the one question I had when writing this was: could I have done something and / or can something still be done?
I need real help from real people with real knowledge. I did a ton of research on codes and laws and statutes and rights in TX about whether I could have taken possession of the bike by touching or sitting on it since it was not hooked up to the truck yet. I found things that said yes and things that said no.
p l e a s e
If you know tx law, know someone practicing law in tx or if you can repost this in hopes that someone in the legal field can give me the law and code that says I could have done something I would really like to know because after the incident with the dogs that I had earlier in the day it feels like the property manager was retaliating against me and I want to know if there is anything I could have done and / or anything I can still do.

everybody needs help the key is knowing when to ask for help
please and thank you reddit

PEOPLE INSIGHTS ANALYST III EAS - 25 WASHINGTON DC (Nationwide) NC11308043 03/29/2023

2023.04.06 13:45 boutell New US CCS chargers report for March 2023

Here are all of the new US CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in March 2023, according to the Department of Energy. These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for:
  1. Tesla drivers who haven't bought the official CCS adapter yet. Certain older Teslas need additional work done to accept the adapter.
  2. Leaf owners like me, and some owners of older cars that also use CHADeMO. If you drive a Leaf, or an older CHADeMO car, see my matching post in leaf.
There were 158 CCS charge points added in March 2023. That's a slowdown from 192 in February, but still much better than just 87 in March of last year.
If you'd like to know about new chargers along your routes right away, or just prefer not to check this list monthly when new openings are rare in your area, I've set up a free service that provides email notifications as soon as they open. You can sign up at evpov.com. Or not! I don't really have a business plan here, I built it to help EV owners like myself.

Can sheet metal be repaired?
I think we hit the lift gate on our car six months ago and a tear has slowly been growing in the door’s metal. It’s now noticeable. What’s the course of action? Can panels be repaired? Whole door replaced?

2023.03.14 14:13 AstralAether747 Which Pc would be better?

So recently i've been thinking about getting a new pc as my current one has been running a bit slow on the games that i wanted to play. So i wanted to get a really high end pc. I've built 2 so far. 1 on pcspecialists and 1 on Cyberpower. So I wanted to ask what i could change and improve and if both Cyberpower and PcSpecialists are good to buy a pc from. I have chose both CORSAIR 1600W PRO SERIES™ TITANIUM AX1600i DIGITAL MODULAR PSU and Seasonic PRIME-TX-1600 1600W 80+ Titanium Modular Gaming Power Supply. Which I know the sites say i don't need a power supply that high but as far as I know it doesn't hurt to have a higher power supply as it means if i ever want to use something that requires a higher power supply then I wont have to upgrade it.
This is the cyberpower build

Originally i wanted to have an audio card. This one to be specific

ASUS STRIX RAID DLX 7.1

but it said that it isn't compatable with windows 11. So is it worth using windows 10 to use the audio or would it not really make a difference?
If there is anything i can change or anything that would improve the performance I'm happy to hear it. And if you could explain why that'd be great.
Please also note it is my first time using full liquid cooling and building a fully customised pc. So i dont know what im looking for or which is better of the 2.

The reason I want to get a new one is just because of the games I want to play changing and me wanting to get a really high end computer as computers are something im quite interested in along with the liquid cooling side of things.

2023.03.06 13:57 boutell New US CHAdeMO fast chargers in February 2023

Here are all of the new US CHADeMO (Leaf fast-charging) stations that rolled out in February 2023, according to the Department of Energy.
There were 106 new CHADeMOs added in February. To put it in perspective, there were 194 CCS chargers added in January. Yes, the gap is definitely widening. But speaking as a Leaf owner, since only Nissan makes new cars that use CHADeMO, overall I'm still pleased that new CHADeMOs are becoming available. 106 is still significantly better than the 74 new chargepoints that came online in February 2022.
We all know that CHADeMO is a legacy format and will eventually go away, but clearly Nissan and their partners are continuing to support it for the time being. This shouldn't be surprising. After all, while the CCS-charged Ariya may finally be available without a waiting list, you can still buy a new Leaf.
The federal infrastructure plan requires those seeking funds to build new charging stations to build four CCS chargepoints first, but also permits CHADeMO to be funded once that threshold is met. I don't see why EVgo wouldn't continue to take advantage of that, for now, especially since baking Tesla's CHADeMO adapter into their stations is currently part of their strategy to support Tesla vehicles without the need for the Tesla driver to buy an adapter. This will become less of a factor as more Tesla owners buy the Tesla CCS adapter.
If you'd like to know about new chargers along your routes right away, or reading these reports is just frustrating in your state, I've set up a free service that provides email notifications only when new stations actually open. You can sign up at evpov.com. I built it to help EV owners like myself (especially my fellow Leaf owners). You can pick other plug types as well.

2023.03.06 13:45 boutell New US CCS chargers report for February 2023

Here are all of the new US CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in February 2023, according to the Department of Energy.
There were 194 CCS charge points added in January 2023. That shows continued growth month after month. For comparison, there were only 87 new CCS charge points in February 2022.
