2023.06.05 16:38 R_D_T_Y Help with Optimizing Sales on ebay Store
Hi all
Have grown my Ebay business over the past 18 months. Have been consistently increasing sales, 500 or so positive feedback, all service metrics are strong and got Top Rated status.
Looking to continue to grow and leverage some of the data tools Ebay has, as well as want to know best practices for optimizing sales. Right now I leverage some promotions (10-20%) and sending offers. I haven't tried any promoted listings.
I called Ebay and they said in order to get an account specialist you need 20k plus active listings. My business is more high ticket, smaller volumes.
Is there a good guide or services resource the group can point me to?
Volume wise doing $30k in top line sales a month, 42k or so page views, 1.8% clickthrough and .4% sales conversion. This has been consistent for the past 5 months
Im trying to figure out if to increase sales I need to increase views on listings, decrease price, add more listings etc. Obviously all of those are drivers but want to optimize at what mix.
Thanks in advance

2023.06.05 16:38 throwaway197623 I’m sorry that your wife has cancer but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to be shitty to me.
This is going to make me sound like a horrible person and maybe I am but I just need to unpack everything. I have a colleague (we’ll call him Brian) who I had been very close to for over 5 years. He was an incredible but also very harsh mentor. I loved him so much. He was like a second father to me. However he was incredibly demanding (enough to gain a reputation for being a hard ass).He used to brag about making people work on Christmas for example. Because I truly loved this person and wanted to make them happy I would constantly drop everything I was doing to help whenever asked. When I first met Brian I was in a really, really, dark place and working for him gave me purpose again. At the time I was still a teenageyoung adult so I really didn’t understand how toxic an unfair Brian was being to me and my other coworkers. I missed out on a lot of my early 20’s because I was busy trying to please Brian. I missed out on time with my family, building friendships, my significant other, etc. I just thought that that was normal. You just had to be willing to sacrifice everything or you didn’t really love the job.
However once COVID hit everything changed. We had a bunch of new people come in and Brian starts going completely soft on them. He lets them get away with stuff that he would have totally lost his shit over if I had done it. I was really angry because in my mind these new people were just weak and didn’t care as much as me and were still getting rewarded for it.
Eventually Brian offered to move me up in our organization to something more permanent(most of our field is seasonal work unless you have another degree or decades of experience). Because it was the pandemic I was really hesitant to commit because that would mean permanently relocating to a new state, away from my elderly parents.
I figured I’d wait out the pandemic and make a decision then. In the meantime I just kept working harder and giving up more to please Brian. Then I started to burn out. I was exhausted and I constantly was feeling off. So I wrapped up my contract and took a break for several months. I went home and went to the doctor because I knew I wasn’t well. It took awhile to figure out what was wrong but eventually I found out I have a hormonal disorder that puts me at a very high risk of cancer and will very likely render me infertile. What’s worse was I also had a large mass that needed to be biopsied to make sure I didn’t already have cancer. I was devastated at the loss of fertility but I was lucky enough to find out the mass was benign. It was a huge wake up call and really set my priorities straight. So I started looking into going back to school.
Unfortunately Brian was much less lucky. Unbeknownst to me until recently his wife has been battling cancer and has taken a turn for the worst. I was crushed to hear the news. I cried for days after learning from one of my other former coworkers(they all met up at a work event but everyone has since move on to positions at other institutions). He even apologized to them for being so hard on them and appears to have turned a new leaf.
Meanwhile things have really improved for me. I landed a great new position with people who seem to really appreciate what I have to offer. I’m literally just waiting on his letter to finally formally accept. Brian is still dragging his feet and it’s driving me insane.
In the past I would have given Brian the moon on a string at a moment’s notice but he won’t do the bare minimum for me.
TL;DR: My exploitative ex-mentor want the sympathy and understanding he never showed me.

2023.06.05 16:37 BeltwayHH Need Advice
So, I'm an average fighting game enjoyer (started my career with MK4 on pc, Tekken 5 on PS2, Tekken 6, MK vs DCU, MK9, MKX on PS3, and at last I only played SF x Tekken, Tekken 7 for a while, MK11 on pc) I liked SF x Tekken when I was playing it and now as a returning player, I really have a hard time about combos. Especially the lack of standard combos (like you use only punch-kick buttons) and not being able to use many of them with specials. I was using classic controls on SF x Tekken but I used a keyboard back then. Now playing with a controller is sometimes very good but I really don't understand some inputs even though I read them in-game (for example how do I do Kikoken with classic controls? tried so many things but still can't do it). I can do supers etc but they are inconsistent (usually supers because they need to be very quick and in a fight it can be very hard to do it which usually I jump instead of doing the move). Right now I use modern controls but they are so boring to play with and the game removes some standard combos which most of them are good and you know, variety is good.
Shortly, what should I do with controls? Should I stick with modern or is there anyone who can guide me for more comfortable settings to play with classic controls (btw I was using custom controls on SF x Tekken (like hitting 3 buttons at the same time with only 1 button) but forgot them since they are at least 7 years old).
+I was Juri main in SF x Tekken and I'm talking about World Tour in this post.

2023.06.05 16:37 Duty_Calls5450 Veteran British theater and TV actor, Hugh Sachs Talks Playing Brimsley in ‘Bridgerton’ and ‘Queen Charlotte’
| Shondaland VV: What attracted you to the role of Brimsley? HUGH SACHS: I mean, there wasn’t much on the page. I give the queen a piece of gossip in the second episode, and then most of it was just variations of “Yes, your majesty.” But I wanted to work with Golda, and I wanted to be in something that was going to change television. HUGH SACHS: One of the things I’ve loved about being in these shows is how they keep challenging the industry. I was really hoping season two would be as successful as it was because, as a gay man, having a leading actor [Jonathan Bailey] who was openly gay playing a straight romantic lead and it not being an issue was amazing to see. I knew it could change our industry — all those young actors who I know have been told to keep quiet can now point at Jonny and go, “Nope, it doesn’t harm your career.” Season one changed the racial politics of costume drama; season two changed sexual politics in our industry. It is moving the conversation. Shondaland VV: And now in Queen Charlotte, we find out so much more about who Brimsley is and how his own sexual politics play out in this world. HUGH SACHS: What’s so funny is, as an actor, you do a backstory with your character. So, all that standing about in season one and two, I was thinking, “Okay, so this is his family, and this is where he’s from, etcetera.” And then Shonda comes up with something far more interesting! People keep asking what happened to Brimsley and Reynolds, and I just go, “I’m saying nothing because whatever I come up with would be nothing compared to if Shonda ever approached that question!” Shondaland VV: Can you tell us about getting the role of Brimsley? HUGH SACHS: I went in for two roles: the Duke of Hastings’ servant and Brimsley. I read a couple of lines, and then I completely forgot about it. Because we don’t do romantic fiction; we do Austen or Dickens. Then they rang and said that they’d like me to play Brimsley. I asked who Charlotte was going to be played by, and they told me Golda, and that was the first I knew of its intentions to be inclusive. I got the six episodes, and I thought, “I’ll read two today and do the other four tomorrow.” I read all six in one sitting. I just thought, “They know how to keep you hooked; they really know what they’re doing.” Shondaland VV: When did you know that Brimsley was going to be young Brimsley? HUGH SACHS: Tom Verica [the director] sent me an email saying he was so pleased that I was going to be in Queen Charlotte, but I knew nothing about it at that point. They wanted a picture of me in my 20s, which I hated having my photo taken, so I rummaged through and found my drama school graduate picture. They sent me the picture of Sam Clemmett, and I was massively flattered. But I wasn’t sure if Sam was! [Laughs.] Shondaland VV: What were your conversations like with Tom and with Shonda about bringing Brimsley to life in Queen Charlotte? HUGH SACHS: Tom [the director] always liked Brimsley, I think. When we were doing Bridgerton, he’d say to me, “I just want to know more about him.” I don’t know what I was doing that made Brimsley so fascinating [laughs]. Like I’ve said, when I first signed on, I didn’t realize that young Brimsley was going to be such a big part of Queen Charlotte. But when I got those scripts, I read them like they were crack cocaine because I was finally finding out about who I was. I make this rather facile joke that I thought I’d been giving peak Idris Elba heterosexual butchness for two seasons, so I don’t know where Shonda got the idea that Brimsley was gay, and that always makes people laugh really loudly. But I am thrilled with it all. Shondaland VV: Did you meet Sam Clemmett to talk about him taking on the role of young Brimsley? HUGH SACHS: I met Sam at the read-through, and we just bonded immediately. It was like having a new nephew. And because he’d done two years in Harry Potter, I knew we’d speak the same language, as we’re both theater creatures. We met about three times after that, but from the beginning, I said, “It’s yours. Do with it whatever you like.” I didn’t want him to feel in any way beholden to me. I said, “You’re starting his story; you do whatever you like.” I just wanted him to have that freedom. HUGH SACHS: What I find fascinating is that of the four of us who cross over from Bridgerton, you knew the least about Brimsley, so therefore, you get to know the most about him in Queen Charlotte. Adjoa, Golda, and me got to watch three scenes, and it was incredibly moving because they had established those women as strong, powerful, matriarchal, bright, witty women, and to see Arsema and India, these really delicate, sort of not yet fully formed young people — the three of us were just in floods of tears. It was almost like watching home videos, remembering when I was that young and life hadn’t hit me yet. I was struck about how emotional it was to see that. Shondaland VV: Was there much difference performing with Golda in Queen Charlotte compared to Bridgerton? HUGH SACHS: There was a lot more eye contact! Normally, she’s throwing orders over her shoulder because I’m always five feet behind her, but in Queen Charlotte there’s more talking between the two. HUGH SACHS: That first scene when I’m talking to her about her daughters and we are eyeballing each other and she’s not bollocking me, she’s actually listening to what I’m saying, it was moving because with the pandemic and Covid protocols, I suddenly felt like it was the first bit of acting I’d done for about four years since most of what I get to do is respond to her orders. Golda, Tom, and I all hugged after that scene. HUGH SACHS: Tom is a really good actor, but a brilliant director, and I think subconsciously we’d all been waiting for a moment like this where we got to explore these characters together in a more in-depth way. I love these meaty moments I get to have with Golda. Tom is so generous as a director — he sees everybody and creates this really warm, creative set. A lot of the crew from Bridgerton were there, so it was great to really flex those muscles with all of us in the room. Shondaland VV: The in-depth exploration of these characters is no joke in Queen Charlotte. How did you approach it, specifically between you and your charge, the queen? HUGH SACHS: One of the arcs of Queen Charlotte is the ricochet effect that George’s illness has on everybody. I’m sure it’s part of the reason Reynolds and Brimsley don’t stay together in the end. It certainly dominated her life — her desire to look after him and to get an heir meant she may not have been the best mother possible. HUGH SACHS: There’s that beautiful scene when I tell her that her daughters are not getting married not because they’re being difficult or willful, but because they don’t want to leave her here alone while George is still alive, and that it’s an extraordinary act of love, what they’re doing. She thinks they’re just trying to be irritating, and I’m telling her that’s not who they are. George’s illness has affected her, it’s affected Brimsley, it’s affected her children. It was lovely to have those moments where I was not telling her off but just explaining that because I have watched these children grow up, I know a little bit about what they’re going through. Shondaland VV: I guess it’s like that situation when you’re really good friends with somebody, you can say the hard things. HUGH SACHS: Well, yes, or say nothing. Like that moment when Charlotte says, “I was a good mother,” and I don’t say anything. I’m basically saying in that moment of silence, “You are not a bad mother, but your children have a point. And I’m here to say, ‘Just give them a breathing space; they’re good kids.’” Shondaland VV: It’s so interesting to hear you speak as Brimsley this way because it’s more like you’re her husband. Or at least, filling in for a role that George hasn’t been able to do because of his illness. Brimsley is like Queen Charlotte’s work husband! HUGH SACHS: She will see Brimsley more than she will see George. Even though it’s a servant-master relationship, Brimsley was there from the beginning to guide her into this weird world. Lesser writers would’ve given the queen a sentimental moment to encapsulate that, but she just is absolutely who she is, and I’m absolutely who I am — living my life on tiptoes going, “What kind of mood is she in today?” But actually, because of the longevity, he will give her advice and go, “Look, be easy on these kids.” HUGH SACHS: But the stress she’s under, I mean, not only is she the monarch, but she’s also raising her family, and she’s got to find an heir. It’s sort of like she’s the CEO of three of the biggest companies on the planet. And when one is under that pressure, some of the kindness gets rubbed off at the sides, and her kids get it in the neck. Brimsley has that moment when he says that everyone here cares for the king, so we are all in this together — we are all tiptoeing around his illness, and we need to look after each other. Hugh Sachs: The Queen will see Brimsley more than she will see George. ...because of the longevity, he will give her advice and go, “Look, be easy on these kids.” Shondaland VV: You’ve been acting for a long time, but have you ever had this sort of level of global recognition? HUGH SACHS: I was in a really popular sitcom here for five seasons called Benidorm on ITV, which was loved by the people for whom it was made — mainly white, working-class people who holiday in that part of Spain. I left that show in 2011, and they carried on for another five seasons. People recognize me for that all the time here, which is weird. But I think it’s because Netflix bought it six months before lockdown, and lots of people started watching it from the start. I never thought I’d be on television, if I’m honest. I never saw anyone like me. I thought I’d just do plays, but now I’m in the second biggest series ever. I have this theory that if you want millions of viewers, it should have a single title, begin with a B, and I should be in it [laughs]. So, the whole experience of being in these shows is extraordinary; I’m still slightly bemused by it, really. Shondaland VV: What has it been like to see how much the Bridgerverse has grown in popularity? HUGH SACHS: What I love is that you don’t have to explain what it is. When I say I’m in Bridgerton, even though some people haven’t watched it, they know exactly what it is all about. That’s a real thrill. I tell people it is the equivalent of a long, hot bath with lots of candles and bath oil listening to your favorite album. People need distraction. We love the gritty crime dramas and the toxic family sagas, but Bridgerton is this world we all didn’t know we needed. The main thing is the joy that people get from it. And now I’ve had the thrill of finding out who I am in the spin-off. Who’d have thought when I went into that interview that we’d be here, four years later, talking about young Brimsley? HUGH SACHS: I don’t think this would’ve happened on British television. It took Shonda Rhimes to go, ‘I’m going to take this genre, and I’m going to make it look like the world we live in.’ I have been waiting 30 years for this. See, above me at drama school was Jennifer Ehle, who did Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth. And in the trajectory of an English actor’s life, it was a huge boost to do a costume drama. In my year, there were six people of color, and I thought it was so unfair that they wouldn’t get any access. That whole generation — Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Sophie Okonedo, Adrian Lester — they all missed out on these opportunities. Now, no one can do all-white costume dramas. And that’s because of Shonda. Shondaland VV: It will be so interesting to see how people read Brimsley in season three of Bridgerton and beyond because of all the backstory we’ve gotten. HUGH SACHS: It’s like I say to my mates, if you ever go in for a walk-on in a Shondaland production, take it! You have no idea where you are going to end up. https://www.shondaland.com/inspire/queen-charlotte-a-bridgerton-story/a43795768/hugh-sachs-brimsley-bridgerton-queen-charlotte/ submitted by Duty_Calls5450 to QueenCharlotteNetflix [link] [comments] |
2023.06.05 16:37 superdysfunctional getting land snails soon, anything drastic i need to know??
I’ve been offered some land snails from a friend of my mums for free and i already have a bit of experience with exotics (plus one of my geckos will soon be getting an upgrade) so i thought why not since i’ll soon have the space. i’m doing my research but i just wanted to come on here and ask if there’s any information that i should know that i might not be able to find in general care guides, youtube videos and such?? - new info or anecdotal evidence of things that just aren’t discussed if you know what i mean, or just info that is good for new people to know. I primarily keep reptiles and millipedes but there’s always new info or differing opinions with them so i’m expecting the same for snails lol.
i want to be as prepared as possible. anything is appreciated!!

2023.06.05 16:36 Holloway1996 Parrying - something that may help new players.
Being a relatively new player myself, it isn't long until you need to learn how to parry if you want to succeed at playing HvV or showdown. If you watch guides on YouTube etc, everyone will say slightly different things on when to parry as the timing is crucial. The one thing that I was struggling to do is watching the animation of someone hitting my block.
After practising for awhile I found the best thing to get the timing down is listen out for the saber clash, as soon as you hear the clash that is the window to parry. It works for me and now I don't even look at the animation. Just thought I'd post this as the many guides I have watched never pointed out the audio queue.
If it has been pointed out, I'm just hoping it helps newer people.

2023.06.05 16:35 mamaeggs I thought I signed as a Guarantor for my sister's Student Loan, but I'm listed as a Joint account holder on my Credit Reports?
Like the title states, a few years ago, I was under the impression that I was signing to be my sister's guarantor when she was applying for her Student Loan account with Scotiabank (Ontario), but I was surprised that I was listed as a "Joint" account holder when looking at my Transunion + Equifax Credit Report.
She has not missed any payments and is responsible for it so I'm not worried about her, but I am annoyed that it is showing up in my credit reports. I asked her to send a copy of the contract we signed just to confirm that I am indeed the guarantor, but if I am a joint account holder, is it possible to have me removed from the account? Or do guarantors on loans just show up as a joint account holder on their end?
Sorry if this is a silly question, I should have read the contract more carefully, but I know better now. Much appreciate your help, thank you!

Fishing is a beloved pastime that allows individuals to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, there's always something new to learn and explore in the world of fishing. In this article, we will provide you with valuable fishing tips and techniques to enhance your experience and make the most out of your time spent in nature.
Research and Preparation
Before embarking on your fishing adventure, it's essential to conduct some research and prepare adequately. Start by learning about the type of fish species that are available in the area you plan to fish. Different fish have distinct habits and preferences, so understanding their behavior will increase your chances of success.
Furthermore, familiarize yourself with the local fishing regulations. Ensure that you have the appropriate licenses and permits required to fish legally. These regulations are in place to protect the environment and ensure sustainable fishing practices.
Choosing the Right Gear
Selecting the right fishing gear is crucial for a successful outing. Begin by choosing an appropriate fishing rod and reel combination. Consider the type of fishing you'll be doing, such as freshwater or saltwater, and the size of the fish you're targeting.
Additionally, ensure you have a well-stocked tackle box. Include a variety of hooks, sinkers, bobbers, and lures to accommodate different fishing conditions and preferences. Don't forget to pack essential items like a fishing line, needle-nose pliers, and a fishing net.
Understanding Fishing Techniques
To become a skilled angler, it's important to understand various fishing techniques. One common technique is casting, where you cast your line into the water and reel it in to attract fish. Mastering different casting styles, such as overhead cast, sidearm cast, or roll cast, can significantly improve your accuracy and distance.
Another technique is trolling, which involves dragging a baited line behind a moving boat. This method is particularly effective for targeting predatory fish in open water. Research and practice different techniques to determine which ones work best for your fishing goals and location.
Patience and Observance
Fishing requires patience and observance. Find a comfortable spot along the water and observe the surroundings. Look for signs of fish activity, such as jumping fish, ripples on the water's surface, or birds diving into the water. These indicators can guide you to the best fishing spots.
Be patient and allow enough time for the fish to bite. Avoid excessive movement or loud noises that could scare away fish. Remember, fishing is not only about catching fish but also about immersing yourself in nature and enjoying the serenity of the outdoors.
Practice Catch and Release
As nature lovers, it's essential to practice responsible fishing. Catch and release is a conservation-minded approach that allows fish populations to thrive. When you catch a fish, handle it with care and minimize stress by keeping it in the water as much as possible. Use barbless hooks to make the release process easier.
If you decide to keep some fish for consumption, ensure you adhere to local regulations regarding size limits and catch limits. Respect the environment and only take what you need, allowing future generations to enjoy the beauty of nature.
Conclusion
Fishing is a rewarding and enjoyable activity for nature lovers. By conducting research, selecting the right gear, understanding fishing techniques, and practicing responsible fishing, you can enhance your fishing experience while preserving the environment. So grab your fishing rod, head outdoors, and immerse yourself in the wonders of nature while casting your line into the water. Happy fishing!

2023.06.05 16:33 DragnaCarta I'm revising Curse of Strahd: Reloaded & I need your feedback—new hooks, lore breakdown, adventure summary & revamped Death House! [color PDF inside]
Four months ago,
I announced that I was officially beginning a wholesale overhaul and revision of my
Curse of Strahd guide
Curse of Strahd: Reloaded. This revision completely reworks the guide and adventure, simplifying and streamlining it while accentuating the themes, challenges, and characters that make this campaign so memorable.
Today, I'm excited to share that the first segment of the new revised guide
is now available as a fully illustrated color PDF for public playtesting and feedback!
It contains:
- Chapter 1: Into the Mists. An introduction to Curse of Strahd, information on running Session Zero, and all-new character creation options for your players including Flaws, Bonds, and Motivations.
- Chapter 2: The Land of Barovia. A comprehensive breakdown, explanation, and consolidation of Barovia's metaphysics and magic, geography, cultures and factions, and religions—plus a thirty-page narrative history of Barovia, individual NPC roleplaying guides, and a full guide to running and roleplaying Strahd von Zarovich himself.
- Chapter 3: Running the Game. A reworked Tarokka reading and upgraded Tarokka artifacts, an all-new adventure hook with two subtle variations, and a comprehensive adventure summary that walks DMs through the campaign from the beginning to the end.
- Arc A. Escape From Death House. The all-new introduction to the campaign, which leads your players through an upgraded Death House dungeon-crawl before leaving them stranded in Barovia.
This isn't the end of the rework, though! I already have chapters drafted and revised for the Village of Barovia, Tser Pool Encampment, and the Town of Vallaki, with notes and outlined planned for every adventure and hook beyond.
I expect to post new public updates frequently—but for that, I need your help. I want
your feedback and comments to help me make this guide the best it can be. Is the formatting readable? Is the adventure fun? Is the content accessible? Is there anything missing, or anything I can do better? Please let me know any and everything I can do to improve!
Thank you so much to everyone who's already assisted with feedback, playtesting, and review, as well as to my incredible
patrons for their support. Thank you as well to
you for taking the time to read and comment on this ambitious project—I'm sincerely and eternally grateful.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
You can download and read the guide here.

2023.06.05 16:32 wellthatseemslikebs What the hell happened to this sub?
Everything here either reads like fan fiction or has been answered 200 times. If you lose your erection because of condoms buy bigger condoms, if you hate cramped underwear buy pouch underwear, etc. Use the search bar for god sakes.
Also no one is buying your super cool story about your massive dong distracting a whole flock of women and ruining marriages. It’s a dick not a million dollars and a wish granting genie.
This sub used to be for people trying not to hurt their partner or giving advice on how not to embarrass your family when you take pics by wearing less revealing clothes.
For you weirdos texting everyone for proof, get help.

2023.06.05 16:32 BeorGames Seeking Your Help to Transform my Mini Game into a Full Game! Need Your Ideas and Feedback!
Hey fellow incremental game enthusiasts!
I'm thrilled to be a part of this incredible community, and today I come to you with an exciting proposition. I have a mini game called Conquest within my larger game
Hero Battle Fantasy Arena, and I am eager to transform it into a full-fledged game. That's where I need your help!
The mini game has been well-received by players, and I believe it has the potential to become something truly special. I value your opinions and expertise, which is why I'm turning to the amazing minds in this subreddit to gather ideas and suggestions on how to improve and expand the game.
Here are a few aspects I would love your feedback on:
- Game Mechanics: Are there any mechanics within the mini game that you think should be further developed or changed? Do you have any ideas to make the gameplay more engaging and addictive?
- Progression System: How can we create a compelling progression system that keeps players hooked? What sort of upgrades, achievements, or milestones would you like to see in the game?
- Visuals and Art Style: What improvements can be made to the visual aspects of the game? Any suggestions for enhancing the art style, animations, or overall aesthetics?
- Content and Features: What additional content or features would you like to see integrated into the game? Any exciting ideas for new characters, abilities, modes, or events?
I genuinely value your input and believe that with your collective wisdom, we can shape the Conquest mode into a fantastic incremental game experience. Your suggestions will play a crucial role in guiding the game's development, making it even more enjoyable for players around the world.
Here's what I already have in mind:
- Remove the maximum mana
- Make the buildings spawn in place, so the summons don't have to chase it
- Make all monsters available to unlock and upgrade their stats individually.
- Remove maximum army size.
- Make that killed monsters revive automatically, but the player can only have one of each.
Here's a screenshot of the current version of the game So, fellow gamers, let's embark on this journey together! Share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback in the comments below. I eagerly await your insights and can't wait to transform this mini game into something truly extraordinary.
Thank you all in advance for your contributions!

2023.06.05 16:32 isitjustmeor69 Run a niche SaaS startup that gets mostly inbound leads, trying to grow my outbound reach
I own a SaaS business that sells software to the financial services industry. Possibly going through a fundraising round right now (in the early stages, don't want to hold my breath).
I get a lot of inbound leads from recruiters in the financial services space, and they are usually looking to hire for W2. I've had success going through the interview process but then converting the offer into C2C, and then outsourcing a lot of the work to my dev team. I'm also on Catalant and Upwork and have got some leads that way. Finally, industry events have gotten me a lot of contracts as well.
Our team right now consists of me and two engineers as well as an admin assistant. I hired another person recently (summer internship/job that pays $20/hr) to help with admin work, but they also have a background in marketing (that's what they study in college). I'm thinking of having them create a website using something like Webflow and then doing A/B testing with cold outreach to my target customers.
Curious if my plan for this intern sounds good or if you have suggestions? I did send out cold outbound just on a whim a couple weeks ago and actually got a decent number of responses, so it is an area that I am trying to explore more. The industry I am in is very niche (think like, selling to proprietary trading firms), so I've never really felt like we needed to have a client facing site, or social media, etc.

2023.06.05 16:32 lolaidaka [Measurement Check] Currently wearing 36DD, calculator said 36G, sometimes have spillage/pain
Loose Underbust: 37.5 Snug Underbust: 36.25 Tight Underbust: 35 Standing Bust: 44.5 Leaning Bust: 50 Lying Bust: 47 Units: inches 25yrs old. AFAB
I’m from the US. It was the same for US and UK sizing.
I wear a 36DD, but often the band is too tight or I get some boob spillage at the top. I’ve never really been super comfortable in bras so moving towards unlined ones in general.
My current favorite bra - no issues ever - is the
Warners Blissful Benefits in a size large.
I have shallow breasts (I think - reading the guide as I write) and I have broad roots and they’re full on the bottom. There’s no real “breast shape” section on the “shape guide” on the forum but from googling it looks like a mix of pendulous and bell shape - nipples point down but pretty thin at the top. (Don’t like them tbh)
Just need help finding bras. I used to wear Victoria’s Secret as I grew up and I just haven’t gotten rid of any of those bras. I like push up bras cause of how insecure my boobs make me. But they all hurt so I almost never wear anything other than the Warners unless it’s a special occasion. Haven’t bought a new bra in years.

2023.06.05 16:32 blackgirlwhocodes Technical School/Bootcamp Graduate needing advice for next steps.
Hello everyone! I am 23F who is coming up on the completion of a one year experience learning SWE through a program called "Year Up", it's paid but it's less than 10K for the entire year so I don't count it as income. My experience has been different from my peers because I was not able to complete a 6 month internship experience in the SWE field but instead as a project manager. I am passionate about SWE & I code independently sometimes but recently was rejected by the Google Apprenticeship opportunity after my tech interview. Now I am feeling like missing out on the internship in the field is costing me the ability to move on into a career. The program is designed as six months learning class room style & six months learning in a role. I did well the first six months learning quickly fundamentals & skills. My dilemma now is of course what to do next.
Going to college has been a thought, I have 60 credits I could apply to a CS degree as electives & complete my degree within the next two years. Cost isn't a big deal to me I wouldn't apply anywhere that's unwilling to provide finical aid to cover all if not most of the cost. I also live in NYC where the cost of community college is low & often free.
I have been applying to apprenticeships but applications open at different times of the year. Should I also be applying to internships? I am open to apply for contract and temp work but I am fearful of not possessing the skills necessary to get through the tech interviews.
I could also apply for project management roles, I am not passionate about it but I have experience in operations management prior to this year of SWE and I believe the combined experience on my resume would allow me a good fighting chance at finding a role.
The goal right now is not a fast solution where I have income, although income would be amazing. Luckily enough for me I have been poor my entire life and I know how to manage and maintain a life with little to no income but still staying alive, fed & clean. I have no finical responsibilities right now other than my dog, and I have my life that way because I have no income, trying to prevent debt yadda yadda.
I am making this post in hopes that other people who've graduated from boot camps or maybe even the same program as me can share their experiences. What did life look like for you after & what steps did you take to get to where you are now.
I hope I get some responses but anyways thank you all so much!
