Troika Media notes that the one-for-25 reverse stock split was approved by the company’s Board of Directors. It also mentions that the split didn’t require shareholder approval due to Nevada laws on the matter.

What’s Behind the TRKA Reverse Stock Split?

Troika Media is enacting this reverse stock split to increase the price of its shares. It’s doing this to comply with the $1 minimum bid price required to remain on the Nasdaq. It needed to consolidate shares as its prior closing price was only about 12 cents per share.
Sid Toama, CEO of Troika Media, said the following in a news release:

“The Company has addressed many legacy equity, compliance and regulatory matters over the past year. We believe that this reverse stock split should be viewed not just as a critical step to regain compliance with NASDAQ’s listing requirement, but also as a part of our strategic plan for the long term.”

TRKA stock is down 10.3% as of Thursday morning.

Hello everybody, we are at the end of our strenghts.
Our kid in last month developed irrational fear from school and new substitute teacher (male) who was maybe going to strong on some naughty kids his first day (not on my daughter she is sweet and listening good) in class.

In the first counselling, I was allotted COE on the basis of JEE Score. I wasn't expecting this branch because 2022 cutoffs were quite high. But since its a good branch, I paid the requisite fees. Then I researched a bit and found out that Thapar has close to 800 seats in COE and about 600 more seats in similar branches (so a total of 1400 seats in only Computer related branches) I feel that Thapar is losing quality students due to increased seats. Due to the increasing seats, the peer competition and the placements will also definitely get hindered. And landing a good job is one of the reasons I'm pursuing BTech. Apart from this, the fees is WAY TOO HIGH. A Grand Total of 30 lakhs (for 4 years, all included). My parents can afford this but I do want to know whether it is worth it or its just a waste of time, money and energy. These numbers have left me confused about whether I should choose Thapar or not. (also how is it ranked above BITSP, I don't even know how NIRF rankings work now) I can do BTech from a local reputed college (Thapar's rival college). I will get Non-Circuital branches like Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil etc. Maybe 5-6 years later I could do MBA. This setup will altogether cost me around 40-45 lakh. Which plan will be better? Choose COE in Thapar or Local College+MBA
