2023.06.09 20:59 Ok-Reward-6390 21M Brazil/anywhere non uninteresting man looks for half [relationship]
I haven’t even flirted for such a long time, and lately, during those boring lunches where people just talk about heiresses’ dogs’ illnesses (a Pomeranian dog shares all her illnesses with her owner) or gossip about some technocrat who has a limp and who may be cheating on his partner, and while rice with cod is served, I am asked “darling, are you dating yet?”. No, I am not, and here I am, mostly because dating apps are too dull – unfortunately the odds of being flashed by a Jewish 19 year-old from Manchester is smaller on these things, though sometimes you might have some luck and end up being insulted randomly by a Portuguese girl, who is visiting her uncle.
I do have names, and surnames, and I was born in a big city in Brazil. My sister used to describe our childhood address as “a building with cars and trees and buildings”, which is a rather good description of much of the city. For a while I wanted to join the seminary but after having to face the fact that this was an inadequate career choice considering I didn’t believe in God and had always found masses to be awfully boring (though fascinating at times – the priest at my childhood church used to go on long rants about things, of which there are many) often turning my back to see the watch, and so I chose the next best thing: I am studying sociology, which involves, in many ways, taking a vow of poverty. I also work at a small online newspaper so I am well informed on sub celebrities and local occurrences such as babies heroically rescued by policemen after choking on the thing babies eat. And yes, I write poetry sometimes.
I am fascinated fairly often by everything, or many things, at least so you won’t be bored. These last days I ended up reading a lot of things about Egypt after reading about Ottoman chief eunuchs being exiled to Cairo after their tenure. In general, I really enjoy the humanities. I follow politics keenly – in fact, there is some chance I might have some thoughts on your country’s politics – and I’d say I am on the centre-left – pro-choice, in favour of a robust welfare state, LGBTQ+ rights, affirmative action. If you know about Brazilian politics, I voted for Marina and Haddad in 2018 (the voting age here is 16), and Lula last year.
As you can imagine, I also really enjoy reading and writing. Besides poetry, I have often thought about writing a novel, but this seems like too much work – and it seems that it would be arrogant of me to write a novel having lived this little, though it wouldn't be uncommon. I really enjoy learning about other languages and cultures and I know a bit of French, German, Spanish, and Russian, besides English and Portuguese. I’d really like to learn Arabic and/or Mandarin. I am really into genealogy, and I know quite a bit about it. I often cry while watching dumb movies (I cried during Minions!) or listening to beautiful music; my music taste has been described as “fairly gay” and in movies as “slightly gay”.
I guess I am pretty introverted, polite, and timid (well, I am on here after all). I am affectionate and I can be really passionate as well. And I am fairly funny, or rather, I have made a few people laugh over the years. I asked a close friend to describe myself, and that is what he said:
I think you’re very communicative. Shrewd, funny, a good companion. Kind of withdrawn but not necessarily shy. You avoid conflict and unnecessary arguments, but love to participate in good conversations. I think you’re very kind too, besides being polite.
As for what I want to do with my life, I am unsure though I am inclined to go into academia. I have been considering applying to a PhD program in the U.S. after finishing my undergrad here in Brazil. My family does want me to go into their business, which is related to politics. I have also considered going into diplomacy.
Who am I looking for? I’d like someone curious about the world around her, and open-minded.
Some poems I really like:
Some songs I have been listening to:

2023.06.09 20:59 Little_Wintry Build: The Hunter
Now I am a huge, huge sucker for survivalist games, and Skyrim is no exception. Even before we got Survival Mode and other CC content, I was modding the hell out of my games with stuff like iNeed, Frostfall, Campfire, and Hunterborn. And this character was born from that.
Basics:
Race: Bosmer
Main Skills: Archery, Light Armor, Sneak
Minor Skills: One Handed, Alchemy
Standing Stone: Lady Stone (I used Andromeda, so the Lady Stone is for the Lunar Familiar. In Vanilla, however, the Thief Stone also works pretty well)
Alignment: True Neutral (just trying to stay out of everyone else's way)
Factions: The Companions are the primary faction I went with here, mostly for the werewolf power (I love being a werewolf and it fits very well with the "lone hunter" vibe of the build). Other quests like Ill Met By Moonlight, meeting the hunters of Frostmoon Crag, and basically any quest that centers around hunting down a certain person could work. You could also justify the Main Questline, as hunting dragons would prove quite the worthy challenge. The Dark Brotherhood is viable if you want to go for a darker twist on the character, as well. Humans are the deadliest game.
Personality
The Hunter is a very simple character. She wants to be left alone. All she really cares about is that she's able to hunt in peace. She enjoys a challenge, however, and likes to test her skills often against stronger game like bears, sabre cats, and the like. She sees a beauty in nature, and prefers to spend time out in the wilds of Skyrim rather than big cities like Whiterun or Solitude.
Similar to some of the teachings of the Skaal, she believes that our place is in nature, living in harmony with it rather than building over it. This draws into her biggest flaw - she has little patience for "city dwellers" and those who cannot handle themselves in the wilds. To her, it's survival of the fittest. As a sort of loner, she's not big on bringing along followers. If you want some company, however, characters like Aela the Huntress and a few of the Orcish followers work well. Meeko or Vigilance are also good picks if you're looking for a hunting dog.
Gear
I did the playthrough with the Hunterborn and Scrimshaw mods, which meant I made most of my gear from the animals I killed and things I found out in the wilds. If you don't have those mods, however, Forsworn armor works very well for that sort of wild feel. And while the Ring of Hircine is practically essential for a werewolf character, the Savior's Hide also has a distinct look to it that fits well. If you can manage the glitch to get both the Ring and the Hide (or just find a mod that lets you craft/find an unenchanted version), that would work best. And if you feel like doing the smithing grind, Dragonscale armor is badass and made from your kills.
As for weapons, almost any bow and arrow will work. The Hunter is basically a stealth archer with some spice for flavor. Personally I found the Bow of the Hunt (a hunting bow that does extra damage to animals) blends well with the roleplaying of a hunter character. Nettlebane can also be used sometimes, since it's extra damage against spriggans is useful for someone spending a lot of time in wooded areas. Of course, if you have Scrimshaw, you can also craft all your own weapons, too.
Playstyle
Like I said above, the Hunter is basically a stealth archer with a bit of flavor thrown in. It's pretty simple. Shoot from cover. If you get spotted, keep shooting. If you get wounded, drink a potion. Rinse and repeat.
It is worth putting some perks into Light Armor and One Handed for those times when sneaking isn't an option or just isn't working. If you wanted to spice it up even more, you could invest in some Conjuration spells to distract enemies, or Alteration spells for that additional boost to your defense. The world is your oyster here.
Alchemy might seem like the odd man out, but it's a very versatile skill (and as someone who will be wandering Skyrim's wilds a lot, you'll have plenty of chances to get alchemy materials, and with Hunterborn, even more so). Potions of Healing and Stamina are classics, but potions of Fortify Marksman help loads against tough enemies, and keeping a good stock of Resistance potions can get you out of a tricky situation.
Modded Options
For Wintersun players, you have a few options. You can go for Hircine to lean into the werewolf, Kynareth for a more noble sort, or anything in between. Personally, I went for Jephre, as he's not only the patron god of Wood Elves, but also give some nice bonuses both in roleplaying and gameplay for a hunter.
Moonlight Tales or Growl are also great pics for a werewolf character. While I personally used Moonlight Tales, both mods provide a brand new way of playing werewolves, and are highly recommended.
Survivalist Mods are key for a character like this. I've already mentioned Hunterborn and Scrimshaw, but Campfire lets you live out in the wilds, Hidden Hideouts lets you find little nooks to spend the night, etc etc. Mods that add small player homes in the wilderness (like "Ice Bones Home" or "Hermit Mountain Cottage") are also good picks.
Chanterelle is a mod pair that basically adds two entire new worldspaces to explore, geared towards explorations and hunter types. There's no real signs of civilization, so you're welcome to be as wild as you want. It's pretty beefy, though, and will take up a good chunk of your mod space.
That's all for the second build, folks. I don't know how these keep ending up so long, but I feel like there's just so much to discuss. Maybe I'm being a big dramatic :P And I'm always looking for feedback and help with my builds here :D

2023.06.09 20:58 writeoutthebox Blood, Sweat & Tears
“Blood, Sweat & Tears” I stare at the cracked mirror in the dimly lit backstage room, trying to recognise the person staring back at me. The once vibrant eyes now carry a weariness that no amount of success can erase. My name is Jake, and I've poured every ounce of my being into becoming a rock star, but lately, I've begun to question if it was worth it. Our band, "The Fallen," was born in the dingy basement of a rundown apartment building. We were just a group of misfits with a shared dream and an insatiable hunger for music. Countless hours were spent rehearsing, writing songs, and playing in empty dive bars, hoping for that one breakthrough that could change our lives. And finally, it came. We secured our first tour, hopping from city to city in a rickety old van, living off fast food and cheap motels. The late nights and endless miles became our companions as we played our hearts out in front of dwindling audiences. But perseverance paid off when we caught the attention of a record label executive who saw the raw potential in us. Our first album, "Blood, Sweat & Tears," became an instant hit. It climbed the charts, and our faces adorned magazine covers. The relentless touring took its toll, but we revelled in the adoration of fans, the exhilaration of sold-out concerts, and the euphoria that surged through our veins with every chord struck on stage. However, the dark side of success soon reared its head. The constant pressure, the unrelenting expectations, and the ever-mounting stress began to wear us down. I, in particular, felt the weight of it all crushing my spirit. The exhaustion led to sleepless nights and moments of crippling self-doubt that turned into bouts of depression. And then came the blackouts. I wake up in unfamiliar places, covered in sweat, my heart pounding against my ribcage. My mind is blank, unable to account for the hours that slipped away. Panic grips me as I frantically search for clues, wondering what I might have said or done during those lost moments. The fear of becoming a stranger to myself consumes me, and I'm left questioning my sanity. Inside the band, tensions rise. The arguments that used to be minor disagreements now escalate into full-blown fights. Trust begins to erode as egos clash, and resentment festers beneath the surface. The harmony we once had as a united force of music becomes distorted, replaced by discordant notes that threaten to tear us apart. As the fame grows, so does the darkness that lingers around us. I can't help but wonder if this is the price we pay for chasing our dreams. The success that once felt like salvation now feels like a curse, and I'm left wondering if there's any way to escape the shadows that haunt us. The once vibrant energy of "The Fallen" now hangs heavy with an ominous tension. We've reached a crossroads where the very foundation of our band threatens to crumble beneath the weight of our personal demons. As the second act of our story unfolds, the true horrors lurking in the shadows are about to be unleashed. The strain on our relationships becomes unbearable, like a frayed guitar string on the verge of snapping. Each member of the band carries their own burdens, and the pressure cooker of emotions can no longer contain the mounting resentment. Arguments turn into bitter confrontations, hurling accusations and insults that cut deep into our souls. But the dissonance within us pales in comparison to the malevolent presence that seems to infiltrate our lives. Strange occurrences haunt our days and nights, testing the boundaries of our sanity. Instruments mysteriously detune, creating discordant melodies that grate on our nerves. Eerie whispers echo through the corridors of our tour bus, leaving us trembling in the darkness. My blackouts intensify, their duration stretching into hours, and the fear of what I might become during those lost moments gnaws at the edges of my consciousness. It's as if a malevolent force takes control, using my body as a vessel for its own nefarious desires. I wake up with bloodstained hands, surrounded by shattered glass and broken memories. Paranoia takes hold, and we start to suspect each other. The camaraderie we once shared is replaced by a toxic cocktail of suspicion and fear. Our music, once a means of escape and expression, now becomes a conduit for something darker. The lyrics we pen are laced with sinister undertones, haunting melodies that seem to summon an otherworldly presence. As we delve deeper into the abyss, we discover a disturbing truth. Our rise to fame was not simply a product of talent and hard work but a pact we unknowingly made when we were desperate for success. The price we paid for our dreams was steeper than we ever imagined. An ancient curse, tied to the music we create, has awakened forces beyond our comprehension. Our very souls are entwined with the darkness, and it feeds on our anguish, our struggles, and our desperation. The success we once craved has become a prison, a never-ending nightmare from which we cannot escape. With each passing day, the malevolent presence grows stronger, its grip on our minds and bodies tightening like a vice. It's clear that we must confront the origins of this curse and find a way to break free, or risk losing ourselves entirely to the abyss. But can we find the strength to overcome the horrors that surround us and reclaim our lives, or are we destined to become mere instruments in a symphony of madness? The depths of despair have claimed my bandmates, leaving me standing amidst a gruesome tableau of carnage and unanswered questions. The discovery of their lifeless bodies shocks me to the core. Crimson splatters paint the walls, turning our once vibrant sanctuary into a macabre canvas. Their eyes, once filled with dreams and determination, now stare into the abyss, their souls forever silenced. How did it come to this? Did our pact with the shadows consume them, or is there a more sinister force at play? The room whispers secrets, but they remain locked within the shadows, refusing to reveal their dark truths. Fragmented memories of our recent days together haunt my mind, merging with the echoes of my blackouts. Did I become an unwitting puppet, dancing to the malevolent tune of the curse? Or was I merely a witness to a horror that defies comprehension? The weight of guilt presses upon my shoulders, threatening to break me. The once unbreakable bond we shared, the brotherhood forged in music, now feels like a curse. Doubt seeps into the cracks of my sanity, intertwining with the tendrils of the darkness that has plagued us from the beginning. How could I have let it come to this? Was there any way to save them, or was their fate sealed from the moment we struck that infamous bargain? As I stand amidst the wreckage of shattered dreams and shattered lives, the truth remains elusive, buried deep within the haunting melody of our story. The horror of the unknown lingers, forever shrouding our final chapter in mystery. Was it the curse that claimed their lives, or was it my own hand stained with their blood? The echoes of their music resonate within me, their voices mingling with the haunting questions that will haunt me until my last breath. So, as I stand above the four dead members of my band, covered in blood, I wonder, was it all worth it? The End.

I’m going to Madrid in july to stay for almost a month, considering that i’ll be traveling on business (so I’ll have just the weekends to myself) and on a tight budget, what do you recommend to do and visit?
I’m not really a big fan of night clubs or parties, so i’m thinking about parks, museums, places with beautiful architecture and where I can get to know the history of the city.
also, is the city safe to walk at night alone? how would you describe your culture? what are the places you consider a MUST go/avoid? do you know any special places that you really recommend?
I speak english and portuguese, my spanish isn’t the best, but I can survive lol, could it be a problem?
eso es todo, gracias ;)

2023.06.09 20:57 lavenderlovesyou opinions on curfews for college kids? how do I make my parents trust me more?
i’m on my first summer back from college (in a different country),
i never really had friends to hang out with over the summer, but now that I’ve made friends at college who live in my country as well, we hang out a lot just getting dinners/drinks/karaoke. I live with my parents and we’re having a hard time adjusting to this; today I came home at 12:10, and my dad told me “no normal girl comes home at midnight…if you want to live in my house you have to be home by 10pm”. The implication was that it was unsafe/improper for girls to be out this late.
my mom is a bit nicer, telling me that she simply cannot sleep if she knows i’m not home, even if I tell her that I am safe. She ends up staying as late as I come home. I know she has bad insomnia so I do feel for her, but I just wish that she trusted I was fine. No amount of security measures helped.
this is unreasonable to me bc we live in a night life city and my friends hang out until like 4am; I already leave early. If i leave at 10 I miss all the fun, and they won’t want to hang out with me anymore.
i always responds to texts asking where I am, pick up calls, and let them know who i’m with if they ask. They have met my friends too. When I do come home, I never wake anyone up (very very quiet), don’t bring anyone home, and texts them that i’m back. My mom has my location on her phone too (not on purpose, but that we share a find my iphone account).
There’s never any reason not to trust me; in high school I never went out late, never over drank, partied or smoke. We live in a very safe city. I don’t understand. To me a reasonable curfew (it feels kinda wrong to call it that since I’m an adult), is at least 1-2am, but they really don’t agree. I don’t think they understand socialization of normal college students, as I’ve spoiled them (lol) by being such a good girl in hs. We don’t ever seem to agree.
So I just want to ask more of a parents’ perspective—are my parents’ demands reasonable? is there any way we can compromise?

2023.06.09 20:56 AutoModerator Where Can I Watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Free Online Streaming On Reddit?
In 2018, at the height of the superhero era, Sony Pictures captured audiences with the animated superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The movie followed New York City teenager Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as he adjusted to being the latest version of Spider-Man. He eventually
assisted other Spider-People living in parallel universes when they joined together to save his current timeline from being destroyed by Kingpin (Liev Schreiber), a supervillain who coincidentally is the benefactor for the controlling mega-corporation Alchemax.
Five years later, Miles is back for a new adventure in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. What's more, he's bringing friends with him. As he reunites with love interest Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld), he meets the elusive Spider Society comprised of Spider-People doing Miles' job in other timelines a.k.a. protecting the existence of the Multiverse. But when a new threat causes the group to disagree on strategy, the teen sets out on his own mission to save those he cares about the most.
The second of three Spider-Verse movies ('Beyond' is coming in March 2024), Across the Spider-Verse brings Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) back in touch after a while apart. They come into contact thanks to the actions of aspiring super-villain The Spot (Jason Schwartzman), and it all brings Miles deeper inside the Spider-Verse, as he meets the network of Spider-Men protecting the multiverse.
Thankfully, the wait is almost finally over, as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will return to screens. This time Miles will not only be reunited with Gwen Stacey (Hailee Steinfeld) and Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson) but he'll also be introduced to an entire multiversal society of Spider-people created and led by a particularly pessimistic variant of Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac). Though some of the other variants in this secretive organization view Miles as a nuisance more than anything else, they'll have to learn to put those apprehensions aside if they hope to save the multiverse from an all-new terrifying threat. As the release date for the sequel to one of the most celebrated Spider-Man films ever made crawls closer and closer
After a historic deal between Sony and Disney+ in April 2021 to allow its Marvel movies to come to the streamer, the first batch of arrivals finally dropped in April/May this year.
The much-anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is already released, and fans can’t wait to see the new adventures of Miles Morales. Once the Sony Pictures-produced movie ends its theatrical run, it will come to the most popular streamers, including Netflix and Disney Plus. But when is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming to Netflix and Disney Plus? Here is precisely where and how you can watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse online.
When Is the Release Date for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was one of the many films to get hit by a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, moving from its original date of April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022. That's the date seen in the above trailer, but the film has since seen another significant delay since then. Now the film is officially set for release on June 2, 2023. Hopefully, we won't see another delay, but if it means getting a sequel that lives up to the sky-high heights of the original, we'll gladly wait.

2023.06.09 20:56 123Fortres123 Friend's rant account posted a photo of a canteen stall displaying moldy bread, owner threatens to sue cyber libel
My friend posted on his rant/dump social media account about a canteen stall in our university displaying moldy bread.
It is common knowledge in our university that that stall sells unsanitary food (sometimes recycling used disposable plastic utensils) and displays bread for days in a glass displaying container of sorts. I don't know why our university's admin or health officials does not take actions against them.
This is where our problem starts. My friend who is a student leader, posted on his rant social media account (which is not named after his real name) about moldy bread displayed in a glass container around two days ago. It garnered a lot of reactions as well as reposts from students (and other professors) where they agreed that the university must take action against that certain stall. The problem is, the owner contacted me on my personal social media account and asked me to reveal my friend's real name since she will sue him for cyber libel for ruining her business.
So my question is, what advice can you guys give? Can I be forced to give the name of my friend? Do we need to report it to our city's/country's health authority?
This did not happen in the US, we're from the Philippines, but I would like to hear what are your thoughts about this. Have a nice day ahead everyone!

2023.06.09 20:55 Nyyyl About 15 or so minutes ago in central Salt lake city, Utah, I witnessed a high up slowish UFO fly northbound into clouds and disappear
I'm about in the center of the Salt lake city area east of I15, I was watching the sky to the west and at about a 45 degree angle and saw a large white blimp ball thing float or fly at around two thirds the speed of higher up airliners. The blimp was above the clouds but lower than airliners. There was no trail of any kind behind the craft. I didn't even try to take a video because I am still using Galaxy S7 lol sorry. I have my binoculars out and set up to put my phone up to if I see another one. Sure I don't have proof, but anyone in SLC, please get outside and watch that sky dammit!
Also looking at the sky way beats looking at the internet when you feel a little online burnout. The birds out are pretty cool, but they're all trying to bang, kinda annoying

From the bottom of my heart. Fuck you
I sat at the bus stop and watched dozens of people with their eyes buried in their phone while driving. One of them with their no older than 9 year old kid in the front seat. Is it really that hard to put down the fucking phone for 20 minutes?? Is what you're typing that important?? Just watching people drive in this city is so scary. Seeing people drift just to change lanes, people waiting to the last possible second to brake. Even though ets is as unreliable as it is, I'd rather get to where I need to go in one piece rather than multiple cause somebody sped up to beat the yellow light and tbone me.
Thats my rant

2023.06.09 20:54 stormy-nights Thoughts/experience with the Charge City E-Bike?
Considering moving to an E-bike since I’ll be further away from campus and the hills are challenging. This bike is a good price, seems to give me all that I need, and is lightweight, which is a big plus for me.
Any input is appreciated!

2023.06.09 20:54 Oakleypokely How to prepare for my Planning Tech 1 interview?
I recently received a bachelors degree in urban planning from ASU but am currently living in another state in a relatively small city. This would be my very first planning related job.
The job is for the County, please give me any and all interview prep that can help me get this job as somebody freshly graduated with no professional or internship experience.
I already talked to the person who will be interviewing me on the phone in a phone interview/informational call. The job will mostly involve reading architectural site plans and knowing the zoning codes and regulations for single developments so that I can communicate with the public (citizens or developers/contractors) to explain why their requests have been approved or denied. I’d also be responsible for a small bit of public speaking in front of small groups at a podium and creating/presenting PowerPoints. They use GIS, but in my position I’d likely not be responsible for creating maps, just utilizing overlays and being able to interpret them. I do have basic GIS knowledge (ArcGIS Desktop which is what they use).
The recruiter said the qualities they are looking for is somebody that has customer service skills and background, ability to learn the codes and regulations and research in order to communicate them to other people, conflict resolution, and he did ask if I had experience reading site plans in which I do not but it is not a requirement as long as I can learn.
Please, please, please, I would appreciate as many tips as you’re willing to give. I tend to get nervous in interviews and my ability to effectively communicate what makes me a good candidate can be hindered by that. I have tons of customer service experience, supervisory experience, and in my last job in the conservation field, we did interact with many different partners and stakeholders to complete projects and did GIS monitoring. So I will highlight my experience there.
Another thing is that he said he will be asking me more about my education at the interview, so how can I make myself look better by talking about that?

2023.06.09 20:54 WillieForSomerville GLX Community Path to Open on June 10 - From the MBTA
SOMERVILLE – The City of Somerville and the MBTA are pleased to announce that the Green Line Extension (GLX) Community Path will open to the public on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
“The Green Line Extension Community Path offers a critical connection point between public transportation and the many wonderful pathways, bikeways, and other community spaces in Somerville and beyond,” said Governor Maura Healey. “We are excited to open the Community Path this weekend and grateful to the City of Somerville and the MBTA team for their collaboration to make this project a reality.”
“The completion of the GLX Community Path represents the culmination of so much hard work by the MBTA’s GLX team, the City of Somerville, and the many advocates who have rallied for this path extension,” said MassDOT Secretary and CEO Gina Fiandaca. “Thank you to the MBTA, the City, and the residents and activists for their diligence. I look forward to utilizing the Path, which is a vital connection to both GLX stations and our broader network of community paths.”
“The Community Path is of course a critical part of the region’s transportation system, but in Somerville, it’s also a unique part of our social fabric and the open space network we envisioned for all to enjoy and use,” said Somerville Mayor Katjana Ballantyne. “I am grateful to the many incredible, determined Somerville residents, activists, elected officials, and staff who labored to make this dream a reality. And I want to applaud our state partners and elected officials for hearing the calls to save the path and finding solutions. The Community Path is the product of so many hands, so today we celebrate both the path itself and the pathway that got us here."
“I have heard directly from so many constituents how important this path is. I’m proud that we are now able to open this accessible path to better serve our GLX riders and the neighboring community,” said MBTA General Manager and CEO Phillip Eng. “The GLX Community Path runs right alongside GLX’s Medford Branch, providing local residents with this excellent recreational outdoor amenity and access to Green Line service. Thank you to the City of Somerville and the GLX project team for their commitment and dedication, and to the many community advocates for their strong support in making the path a reality.”
