2023.06.02 10:53 Junky_Juke I have to take care of my cat's teeth. How do I get him (and me) used to the process?

Milo is my soul mate cat. His teeth are getting yellow and the chums are a little red. Also his breath is getting a little stinky.
His main diet is high quality dry food (Purina Proplan gastrointestinal) plus half a portion of wet food a day.
He is just one year old, so I want to get rid of this problem as soon as possible and save me and him a lot of troubles in the future.
I'm going to schedule a vet visit the next week for a deep cleanup. But then I will have to take care of his teeth to avoid future plaque formation.
So I have a few anwers:
-How often should I brush his teeth -What's the best tool for the job? (finger brush attachment or regular brush) -How to get him used to the job?
Thank you in advance cat guardians

2023.06.02 10:51 zoe_helix When to break my fast and when can I start another one

I know this has been asked many times but I'm now on the 7th day of my extended fast. I didn't plan for any length, just figured I'd break it if I don't feel fine. However, my work schedule is crazy and next week (today is Friday) I'll barely be home. Then, next Friday, is my vacation and I wouldn't want to refeed then.
So my options are: Break it now, refeed, and roll into another, shorter fast.
Break it on Sunday and then I'll have 4 days for refeed (but I'm not home then), then holidays.
Break it next weekend, start refeed during my holidays (I will have to drive for over 12h on Friday or Saturday).
Any other day is not good, because I'm not home and I will have to stay in hotels. Not eating is better for me because I don't have to plan and prepare food for work. I also want to refeed well, and I think it'll be hard when I don't have access to a kitchen.
I still feel fine, for now it seems I could fast indefinitely. I am scared though, that I'll become food-obsessed after refeeding and that I will eat crap because I'll have to feed on store-bought, ready-to-go meals the upcoming week. I also want to stay keto, which means food planning will be that much harder.
So, I guess, my last question is, if I break it today, when can I start another, let's say 72h, fast? The earlier, the better.

2023.06.02 10:50 Emmario Why does he meow constantly?

So I adopted a 10 year old indoor black cat 2 months ago and he has been great. He is not a lap cat but he loves to watch us from a distance and usually tells us when he wants pets.
When we first got him, he was quite careful, as most cats are and it took him about a month to fully settle. We usually feed him wet food twice a day and he usually have dry food available at all times even if he isn't that happy about this. He quickly learned the schedule and meow at us in the morning and evening when it's time for food. However, lately he has started walking around meowing all the time and it usually helps to pet him or play with him, which I do as often as I can when time allows. But he is doing it more and more and I am starting to worry it is something else because he starts to meow almost 2 minutes after you stop petting or playing.
Am I doing something wrong or can I help him in some way? I try to leave his favorite toys running around and I usually let him run around on the balcony during the day, but I don't know what else I can do.

2023.06.02 10:48 Spiritual-Ticket-399 Considering Fostering A Cat

I'm considering fostering this cat in my neighborhood until I can find her a proper home. There's this cat in my neighborhood and she's pretty affectionate to me. Her owners kicked her out because they don't want her anymore and that they have a another cat I believe. She's had multiple litters and is unsprayed. I was out on my balcony around 4am this morning and I heard her howl at my neighbors house and I felt awful. It's been a couple weeks now I believe that they've kicked her out and I thought she was an outdoor-indoor cat and they would eventually let her in. But I guess the situation is permanent. I'm a student, I live at home and my parent doesn't mind pets, but I have a brother that has two male cats and they come from time to time when he's back from work, they mostly live with his girlfriend. I want to inform this company that help find permanent homes for cats to help find a home for her. I just would like to have a safe with food and water. I'm a college student and I do work, as well. I just don't think that I would be fit to take care of a pet permanently because of my schedule when i have school because I'm gone for long hours throughout the week (10-12 hours). I feel awful and no animal should live that way, but I don't want to assume the responsibility because I worry I cannot give her the life she deserves. I don't know what to do. I really want to help her. I will be contacting the company today and I will also leave out some food and water for her when I leave for work in the morning.

2023.06.02 10:46 Few-Effect-2266 Apartment for my parents

Hi all- I’m enjoying this subreddit quite a bit. I love learning from all of you and seeing different paths from like-minded folks.
My husband and I live in a HCOL area across the country from family and are expecting our first child. The plan was always to move back east, buy a house in a MCOL or LCOL area and be close to family. Unfortunately my husband’s job is not flexible for the next 2-3 years so we’re staying out west a little longer than planned. We currently live in good size 2 bedroom condo (1200 sqft) and are lucky enough to have a large private patio (800 sqft) that can be used year-round.
We both work hybrid schedules: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home. The second bedroom has served us well the last several years as an office/guest room, but now that baby is coming, an office/guest room/nursery just doesn’t seem realistic any longer.
We are on a few waitlists for infant daycare with no realistic chance of getting in, so we have decided to go with a nanny for at least the first year. Given this, we know it’s going to be next to impossible for both of us to WFH effectively with baby and nanny around, let alone have overnight guests.
We are both very close to my parents who live on the east coast and want them to come visit as much as possible. They are entering retirement so they have a lot of time/flexibility and live comfortably, but they are not wealthy by any means. We love sharing experiences with them and want them to be as involved as they can be with their first grandchild. We don’t want them to shell out $$$ for a hotel every time they come, and we also don’t want cost to hinder them from visiting.
Homes in our area (even to rent) are exorbitantly expensive. Even if we rented a 3 bedroom house or townhouse in our area, it would certainly be less than 2,000 sqft (likely close to 1,500) and close to 10k/month in rent. Here’s where my (potentially crazy) scheme comes in. We’re thinking of renting a 2 bedroom apartment for my parents in a nice community that’s a 5 minute drive from our place. It’s in a very family-friendly planned community that’s walkable with shops, restaurants, Whole Foods, movie theater, fitness centers, playgrounds etc. While my parents would use it when they come to visit, my husband and I would also use it as our office space when we WFH 3 days a week. This would give us the flexibility of basically no commutes for the 3 days we don’t go to the office which translates to ~12 hours/week combined. Additionally, since it is so family friendly, it’d be a great place to take our son to the parks/playgrounds etc as he gets older. It would also be great for other family/out of town visitors to use.
The rent is $3,000/month. Even combined with our mortgage/HOA/taxes/insurance payment of $3,300/month, $6,300/month (plus internet/utilities) is significantly cheaper than renting a larger home in our area. I know it’s quite unconventional, but this seems like a good way to give my parents their own space, and a way for us to enjoy the benefits of working remotely while allowing our son and nanny to be comfortable at home. Is this idea totally nuts? Anything I’m not thinking of that we should be considering? Has anyone done something similar? Or if you’re in a similar situation living far from family, how are you handling things? Appreciate any feedback or thoughts!

2023.06.02 10:03 sphynxworld How to Take Care of Your Sphynx Cat for a Happy and Healthy Life

How to Take Care of Your Sphynx Cat for a Happy and Healthy Life
Sphynx cats are incredibly unusual and fascinating animals. These feline friends need a little more attention compared to their hairy siblings because of their hairless bodies and curious attitude. Understanding the unique demands and wants of this extraordinary breed is crucial if you're thinking about getting a Sphynx cat or currently have one.
Body Care:
Sphynx cats lack hair, so they have sensitive skin that needs regular care. To get rid of any oils and particles that build up on their skin, they should take daily or weekly baths. Use a gentle, hypoallergenic shampoo designed especially for cats to avoid skin rashes.

Temperature Control:
Sphynx cats are particularly susceptible to temperature changes since they lack fur. They must have a warm and cozy homeroom because they can easily get chilly in cooler environments.

Sun protection:
Sphynx cats' exposed skin is susceptible to sunburn. They require protection from UV rays just like humans do. Keep your Sphynx cat inside during times of intense sunshine, and if they must go outside, cover their ears, nose, and any other exposed areas with pet-safe sunscreen.

Cleaning Eyes :
Regular cleaning of the eyes and ears is necessary to keep your Sphynx cat hygienic.

Trimming Nails :
Sphynx cats, like other cats, need to have their nails trimmed regularly. Check their claws frequently, and trim them as necessary to avoid overgrowth or discomfort.

Diet and nutrition:
A balanced diet is essential for the general health of your Sphynx cat. Give them high-quality cat food that satisfies their dietary requirements. To determine the proper portion quantities and feeding schedule, speak with your veterinarian.

Regular Veterinary Care:
Regular veterinary examinations are essential for keeping track of the health of your Sphynx cat. To identify any potential problems early on, routine vaccines, parasite prevention, and general health screenings are crucial.

Mental & Physical Activities :
Sphynx cats need to be mentally and physically stimulated because they are intelligent and very energetic animals. To keep them interested, involve them in interactive play sessions with toys, puzzles, or scratching posts.

Socialize :
Sphynx cats are renowned for their friendly and gregarious personalities. They require lots of social interaction and thrive on human companionship.

Above all, Sphynx cats yearn for love, attention, and a close relationship with their owners. Your Sphynx cat's emotional wellness is equally as crucial as its physical health.
The affection and friendship a Sphynx cat offers are genuinely wonderful, despite the additional care they require. Your special and endearing Sphynx pet can live happily.

2023.06.02 09:43 blazogjorev How Technology is Transforming the Trucking Industry

How Technology is Transforming the Trucking Industry
Blazo Gjorev opinion the trucking industry has always been essential to the American economy, but technological advancements are transforming how goods are transported across the country. From self-driving trucks to smart logistics systems, here are some ways technology is changing the face of trucking.
Automation: Self-driving trucks have been a topic of conversation for years, and while they're not yet widely used, the technology is rapidly advancing. Autonomous vehicles have the potential to improve safety by reducing human error and increasing efficiency by allowing trucks to operate continuously without breaks.
Predictive Maintenance: With the help of sensors and analytics, trucking companies can now predict when a vehicle will need maintenance before it breaks down. This means that repairs can be scheduled in advance, minimizing downtime and reducing the risk of costly breakdowns on the road.
Smart Logistics: Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms have made it possible for trucking companies to optimize their routes and schedules. Smart logistics systems consider factors like traffic, weather, and delivery schedules to create the most efficient route possible, saving time and money.
Telematics: Another way technology transforms the trucking industry is through telematics. Telematics systems can track everything from fuel consumption to driver behavior in real time using GPS and other sensors. This data can be used to improve routing, reduce fuel costs, and monitor driver safety.
Blockchain: Blockchain technology is being explored to improve supply chain transparency and security. By creating a decentralized database that records every transaction in the supply chain, blockchain can help prevent fraud and ensure that goods are delivered securely and on time.
In conclusion, technology is revolutionizing the trucking industry, making it safer, more efficient, and more transparent than ever. While there are still challenges to overcome, such as regulatory hurdles and public perception, the future of trucking looks bright, with technology paving the way for a more connected, efficient, and sustainable industry.

2023.06.02 09:15 FragFrog101 I have a new side project for the boys. The Doughboys Podcast: The Movie - per ChatGPT

So I’ve tried a few prompts and it seems like the closest you get to the podcast is putting in a prompt to write something for the guys and then saying it to rewrite it and make it funnier (if you say it twice it’s too funny). Without further ado, here’s the script created by the picket crossing AI scab ChatGPT
Title: The Doughboys Podcast: The Movie
Genre: Comedy
Logline: When the hosts of a popular food review podcast, Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger, get the chance to turn their show into a TV series, they embark on a sidesplitting cross-country adventure, encountering outrageous restaurants, quirky guests, and the never-ending pursuit of the perfect bite.
Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger, the dynamic hosts of The Doughboys Podcast, sit behind their microphones, stuffing their faces with snacks while delivering hilarious commentary on chain restaurants.
MIKE (stuffing his mouth) Guess what, Wiger? A network wants to turn our podcast into a TV show! We might get our faces on the big screen!
NICK (chewing) Oh boy, they must be desperate! But hey, let's milk this for all the free food we can get!
Mike and Nick find themselves in the surreal world of Hollywood, surrounded by flashy billboards and larger-than-life movie sets.
Mike and Nick meet the eccentric NETWORK EXECUTIVE, who pitches their new show idea: a wild road trip across America, reviewing bizarre regional food spots.
NETWORK EXECUTIVE (excitedly) You two will eat your way through America's weirdest culinary wonders. Think greasy diners, alien-themed cafes, and maybe even a restaurant run by a robot chef!
MIKE (raising an eyebrow) Robot chef? That's a recipe for disaster, but we're in!
Armed with cameras, microphones, and an appetite for adventure, Mike and Nick hit the road, ready to uncover the culinary oddities of the nation.
Mike and Nick start their journey at a retro diner. They argue over whether ketchup belongs on a hot dog, with the waitress (a feisty, no-nonsense lady) threatening to kick them out if they don't stop their bickering.
Mike and Nick find themselves lost in a maze of food trucks, encountering zany food vendors and sampling everything from pickle-flavored ice cream to bacon-wrapped donut burgers.
Mike and Nick attempt to navigate the pretentious world of fine dining. They struggle to pronounce the names of fancy ingredients and end up inadvertently insulting the haughty waiter, resulting in a hilarious game of culinary charades.
Mike and Nick venture into a Texas barbecue joint, challenging each other to a meat-eating contest. They stuff themselves with so much brisket and ribs that they end up waddling out of the place like human barbecue sausages.
Mike and Nick arrive at the ultimate food destination: a tiny, hole-in-the-wall joint with a grumpy old chef who claims to have the best burger in the country. They take a bite and their faces instantly light up in pure food ecstasy.
MIKE (speechless) Wiger, this burger is life-changing. I might propose to it!
NICK (laughing) I think we found the holy grail of fast food, my friend. This is the pinnacle!
Back in their podcast studio, Mike and Nick record the season finale, recapping their hysterical misadventures, outrageous meals, and the bond they've formed through their love of food and comedy.

2023.06.02 09:10 hayoonseo As a Korean-American, English subtitles on Kpop's variety content peeve me, using NCT127's Fill it Up as an extensive example

I'm Korean-American, but I'm not as fluent as my parents in Korean. I wouldn't consider myself to be on the level of natives at all, but I am conversational in it and can understand Korean more than I can speak it (vocabulary wise). That's also why I turn on English subs so I can understand some Korean vocab that I haven't heard of while listening. So while I guess I'm not the most 'suited' to be having gripes about this, it does get on my nerves often when I find certain nuances mistranslated and some sentences worded weirdly or connotatively different to the point it erases and lessens its original meaning and impact. Excuse me if I can't explain some things very well-- I don't have very broad English vocabulary either lol.
This has been peeving me for a while with other videos, but I got tired when I was re-watching NCT127's 'Fill it Up' variety content on Youtube. This isn't hate to any of the idols at all, nor the translators themselves. Just complaints and criticisms.
There's so many off translations (even slightly that kind of ruins the fun, meaning, and personality of the members as they talk) that I'll only be providing a few from the first 15 minutes of the first freaking episode. I think Going Seventeen's English subs do the best in providing somewhat accurate translations and making it humorous during actual funny moments with fun subs and no butchering of what the idols have said, so kudos to them. But what Going SVT team has done is what many others haven't, and that is one of my biggest complaints with other idols' variety subtitles. Humor doesn't translate well between languages and I know that, but I do think there's so many better ways jokes and sarcasm can be translated so that their meaning and connotation are carried over well without ruining the fun of it. Of course, 1-to-1 translations from language to language is hard since they're all so different, but regarding nuance and grammar structure, there is a way to go around that imo. There's only so much one can do with puns, but a lot of humor in simple Korean jokes (that don't require the audience to know the culture to understand!) are often translated stiffly or boringly.
For example, in the first episode of 'Fill it Up', Haechan is teasing Jungwoo, basically treating him and referring to him as a puppy while cooking (more specifically, calling Jungwoo his dog's name), saying (in puppy-talk) that he'll give him food soon. Jungwoo laughs/scoffs and says "킹받네?" which is Korean slang that roughly means "annoyed/pissed off". I do want to add that the question mark after 킹받네 isn't to allude to it being a question, it's more so that it can read like a joking "haha.. that kinda pisses me off?" way. This was taken directly from their video's K-subs. I do also wish English subs would take context and what is happening on screen with expressions and everything to translate but maybe I'm wishing for too much. Because in context with expressions and his joking tone added in, he would basically be saying "that pissed me off?" or more directly, "that makes me pissed off?". I get it, saying idols are 'pissed off' wouldn't do their image good. Still, they can say "that annoys me?" and achieve similar effect.
Meanwhile, the English subs proceed to say "It's making me upset".
Yes, this is probably a really 'small' difference, but when I first read the subs, I was confused. Especially since in that moment, a lot of audios are overlapping and members are talking at the same time, leading to multiple sub lines so there's confusion on what the hell Jungwoo is referring to by saying "it". It takes away his joke's humorous meaning and strips the attitude away, and while I know people who don't speak Korean can pick up on its humor through context and Jungwoo's tone of speech, the way the subs convey the slang is rigid and just ultimately too stuck-up. Jungwoo's saying it casually. It's slang. In what world does someone in a casual conversation with a friend, especially when joking around, say "It's making me upset"? It even lost that question mark that helped with the tone! It sounds freaking sophisticated compared to a friend jokingly saying to a friend "that kinda pissed me off?", especially given Haechan was talking to him like a puppy lol. I just wish translators in charge of English subs would put into consideration not only connotation and word choice, but the way the sentence is worded and how actual people in actual irl conversations would talk. It takes away so much of that idol's personality, tone, attitude, expression, everything. It doesn't necessarily give it a different meaning, but a lame one. Less entertaining for a variety show. That leads into my next point.
In English subs, I found that what the idols say is often made to be more weirdly formal and less casual than how they actually say it, making them sound stern/business-y/awkward. Like, no one talks like that in real convos? A lot of English subs in variety content make them sound sophisticated with one another and it's so weird to read because while the idols themselves can say something completely casually, the subs will make them sound proper and formal. It's awkward, because that's not how the members worded it at all. Grammar, sentence structure, word choice included. In interviews or other actual formal settings, I don't mind as much since it makes sense, but in variety? They're supposed to be looser, more fun, and adhere less to that pro/perfect standard since it's variety content for their fans, not an interview with a reporter. Having Eng subs that make the idols sound boring and like they're writing a research paper isn't the way to go about translating conversations guys...
There's lots of moments like these where conversations between NCT127's members or even all the members speaking at once are translated so stiffly and awkwardly in 'Fill it Up'.
At the 4:14 mark, the members are making a schedule of what to do on their two-day vacation. Haechan says "We'll eat lunch from 2 to 2:30". And I think Taeyong (correct me on this, his face wasn't shown when speaking) says, "??? 야 30분 점심은 좀 그렇지 않아?" which I would translate to, with nuance and everything included again, "Hey (야), isn't a 30-minute lunch a bit too short???" since in Korean, Taeyong doesn't actually say it's short explicitly, he says it like "don't you think it's a bit [short]?" with the 'short' omitted.
But that 1-to-1 translation is a bit weird and imo Eng translations should adhere to what sounds right in English (while keeping it accurate), so going with my rough translation would be better than the direct version. You can read Taeyong's tone in what I wrote without having to watch the video to hear him, right? Maybe laughing a little, being in disbelief, pointing out to Haechan that that's impossible, etc. That can all be alluded in what I translated. But what do we get in the actual English subs?
Haechan: "Let's have lunch from 2 or 2:30" (he did not say 'or' in Korean but we move on)
Taeyong: "That's too short"
That's it. End of story. I get this is being incredibly picky, but really? So much meaning was taken away from that sentence. Sure, it's one sentence out of a thousand in this video, but all the other lines are pretty much like this too. In the video, we can't even see his face as he says it and can only listen to his voice and tone. He laughs in the beginning a little bit while he says it but that's about as much context as we get. Just reading "That's too short" in comparison to "Hey, isn't a 30-minute lunch a bit too short???" is so off-putting and wipes out his attitude and personality that comes along with how he says it. Yes, subs can get long. Therefore you can shorten it without losing its tone and meaning. "Hey, isn't that a bit too short???" is still a lot better than "That's too short." and again, without the question mark. This happens in multiple occasions and I'll just spit out examples without going as in depth as I did with this one. Poor word choices leads to poor connotations, leading to the audience to not be able to empathize or understand properly what the idols mean.
7:23-- Jungwoo and Jaehyun making jokes about the chihuahua in front of them, saying it looks like it worked out and went to the gym because of how buff it is. By the way, this is supposed to be funny. At least it was to me, until I read the English subtitles.
Sounds too sophisticated for a joke. Like really, too sophisticated. Not even a "he's". It's "He has". Awkward, uptight, unfunny. Not to mention it completely omits "No, no, hyung!". Anyone can hear Jungwoo say 'something something hyung'. What's so wrong with putting it in subs? Anyway...
8:01-- Haechan, Doyoung, Johnny about to cook. Doyoung says to remove some of the ingredients because everyone doesn't eat that much. Haechan, on the other hand, wants the ingredients and reaches to get them. Haechan's supposed to be like "still~" in response to Doyoung (and you can hear it in his voice and see it on his expression). Not humor, but the way he expressed his disagreement gets lost in translation.
Yes. That was it. Just "Hey". I would understand if they at least put "Hey~" to follow in with Haechan's fluctuation of voice and tone. But no. Just "Hey".
9:15-- Mark helping Doyoung pour in sauce. Doyoung & Taeil tell Mark not to put in too much.
Makes Mark sound like he knows his stuff LMAO! He was actually being doubtful and questioning Taeil and Mark, but in Eng subs, it sounds like he's insisting it. And just seeing those two dialogues together without context is super super awkward. Taeil says "I don't think you need a lot", then right after, Mark says "But you should add a lot". Doesn't it sound off?
11:15-- Yuta playing with the dog and the dog is licking him/itself I can't really tell. This translation's kind of literal so it's a bit funny lol.
I shed a tear I think.
And there's so so so so so many more examples, but that would make the post way longer than it already is LMAO. So my thing is, I know translators work hard. It probably takes a long time and hell, they need to study up on inside jokes and such too. But man... I just wish it could be better. Maybe I'm being too picky and entitled as a Korean-speaker. But I also rely on English subtitles sometimes, and it's jarring to know idols are being translated so poorly like this on their own freaking shows. This is variety content. It's supposed to showcase idols' personalities and more casual sides of them as they interact with their fellow groupmates and play games and whatnot. Having the idols sound like robots and professional essay writers in subtitles aren't going to do anything for the English-speaking audience who want to see them for their personality, jokes, humor, so on. I do know that fans probably can just tell when subtitles aren't right and can know enough from the members' faces and actions for context, but it would be so much better to read accurate translations in real time and have a good laugh rather than having to interpret it correctly in their heads with only context clues given.
Languages are understandably hard to translate. There's no guarantee that everything gets translated correctly either. I know that. But there are so many work arounds that can cater to the English-speaking audience who know English slang, casual vocabulary, etc. English translators don't have to be 100% faithful to the Korean if it means changing it up to cater to the English audience for better understanding, but they can do it WHILE KEEPING IT ACCURATE AND IN CHARACTER! WITH CORRECT CONNOTATION! KEEPING THE NUANCES! But I do think translators work hard and I respect them. It just upsets me how it feels lazy and super unnatural, and I can't imagine how it would feel as a fan who doesn't speak Korean to read these kinds of subs. Maybe it's just me though.
TLDR: I am super super sorry for the long post. Basically, as a Korean-American who is semi-fluent in Korean but also relies on English subtitles sometimes, I am baffled by how off English subtitles are, especially in regards to nuance, sentence structure, connotations, word choices, and tone in Kpop groups' variety content. Variety content is supposed to be that. Variety. It's supposed to be fun. But more often than not, I see dialogue translated to sound like it came straight from a college research essay. The members sound sophisticated in English subtitles sometimes, and it just makes everything super awkward and just uptight. It doesn't sound like casual conversations at all, and rather takes away so much of the members' personalities and attitudes as they're speaking. It doesn't keep true to character, and it isn't even accurate. I do know 1-to-1 translations are hard between languages, but there are numerous work arounds to cater to audiences specific to those translated languages. It's just frustrating to see. But I do know translating work is hard and not everything can be perfect. I was watching NCT127's 'Fill it Up', which inspired this post, and noticed one too many differences from what they actually said and what the English subtitles said and drove me up the wall. Still, kudos to translators because I know it's a long process and there's not that many either. Just something I wish could be done better for not only NCT127, but a lot of other Kpop groups.

Me and my family have fallen super short on our luck, have to move houses with no money and my job only schedules me on weekends. Looking to make some baked goods that appeal to the Tennessee Food Freedom Act (TFFA) and landed on smores. We have a large variety of smore variant goods that follow the TFFA but are down on ways to sell them. The best idea I came up with was to get two posters with pictures and prices and sandwich them onto me and walk up and down busy streets selling easily portable smore variant goods. Any have any ideas as to how I can sell more or get an easier stream of customers.

It's been about a week I've joined gym. I know that I'm not going to get enough protein from my daily diets (busy schedule to prepare foods) so I was wondering if it is okay to take whey protein for someone who is beginner in workouts? And if yes, do you have any suggestion for brand? I'm 85kg, five feet ten inch and I want to lose my fats and build muscles.

2023.06.02 08:28 Kaminoyousha Chapter 7 Bankruptcy (x2)

Hello, everyone. This is my very first time posting on reddit ever. I've been occasionally reading on here and I'm confident enough to talk about BK.
My husband and I filed Chapter 7 back on April 17, 2023 and received our discharge on July 29, 2015. I prepared the paperwork myself because we couldn't afford an attorney.
Now, here we are getting ready to file Chapter 7 again next week. I'll be preparing the documents again. Here's our issue.
We got evicted on May 1st of this year and had to move out on the 10th before the landlord could file for Writ of Possession.
My husband sold a big ticket item online for his manager on April 27th. From what I was told, the item would've retailed for $1,300, but it sold for $900 due to some blemishes. He gave his manager $600, keeping the remaining $300. We used that to get a moving truck, a storage unit and gas for my husband to get to and from work. I was wondering if I have to list that in my schedules, seeing that his boss kept 2/3 of the profit. I read that anything sold before filing BK must be disclosed. Could they go after his boss for the $600? Should we exempt the entire $900, even though my husband received $300 from the sale? The LAST thing I want to do is commit Bankruptcy Fraud, accidentally or otherwise.
My husband also sold out washer and dryer for food and gas money. They wouldn't benefit us any way because we're living in am extended stay, which is way more expensive than our old apartment (also, because the storage unit is not big enough).
We also know that we're surrendering the car that's up for repossession with less than $300 in equity
I never thought I'll be doing this again. I tried going back to work, but I'm physically disabled and finding it hard to hold down a job. I haven't worked on over five years.
Thanks for reading and I'm so sorry about my dissertation-like post. 😂
Thanks in advance for all your help and replies.
