2023.06.05 14:09 Graffiti6 My running is not improving and I don't know why.

Hi all,
Posting this here because I could really use some help!
I’m a 25yo female, I would consider myself relatively fit. I have a normal weight, no medical conditions, I’ve been exercising all my life. Did a lot of weight lifting when I was younger, at the moment I climb/boulder three times a week with some basic weight/abs training and I do a lot of hiking on holidays/ when training for holidays (up to 9-12 miles, with weight and sometimes elevation). I have a moderately active full time job. I started running 3 years ago to keep a basic level of fitness/endurance, maybe go on a run with my boyfriend sometimes. I did some research, bought good shoes and a watch. Started slow, intervals, worked it up to 3 miles. It was hard in the beginnin, but I like being outside so I figured it would get better, and 3 miles would feel like a walk in the park! I’ve been running pretty consistently the past 2 years. I run about 6-7 times a month (so 1or 2 times a week), between 3-5 miles at a time. A few weeks ago I even ran 6,5 miles! I’m not fast, my pace is around 9:40 minutes/mile (6,2mph).
The thing is, it’s not getting better. It feels like I’m dying almost every fucking time….Within 10 minutes of running my heartrate spikes to 185bpm, I get extremely out of breath, can’t hold a conversation and I sound like a dying seal. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold out. I tried to keep my heartrate low, around 170bpm (which apparently, is low for me…), but even a tiny hill or speaking a few words will spike it to 180bpm. I start slow, I keep my pace, I track it with my watch. But nothing helps. I can’t possible go any slower because I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be considered running anymore. My boyfriend doesn’t even shower after running with me because he doesn’t break a sweat at all.
My legs are fine, they feel like they could go for miles, I don’t get sore. It’s just my stamina/endurance that is not getting better. I really thought that after 2 years!!!!! it would improve at least a little bit. I have felt like quitting so many times but then I have one good run and I think, maybe this is it, I’m getting better! And then it does not. I’m getting so insecure and fed up, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or why I’m not improving. Running with my boyfriend or other friends frustrates me to the point of crying so I don’t anymore…. I do like being outdoors and running is very convenient time-wise with my job, so I would really like to continue.
What should I do? My goal is not necessarily to run longer distances (anything from 3-6 miles is fine) but just to do in comfortably.
Should I train more often? Other distances? Should I give up running altogether? Is this how everyone feels, but everyone is lying about it?

Edit: sorry it's gotten quite long..

2023.06.05 11:47 NYCIndieConcerts Mod's List - This Week in Live Rock / Indie / Alternative / Punk Shows (June 5 - 11)

Festival season is in full swing with Governors Ball taking over Flushing Meadows-Corona Park this upcoming weekend. It certainly would've been cool if Governors Ball could've booked some punk acts to join the handful of rock bands on the bill. Black Midi and Flipped will both be doing late night sets in Manhattan. John Mellencamp is posting up a residency at the Beacon in tandem with the Tribeca Festival. The UK's Church Village Collective make their NYC and more below.
If you're new to this sub or just passing through, each week I try to highlight the "best" upcoming rock, punk, indie and alternative shows. I scour the web and social media for concert announcement, booking, rescheduling, etc., and then pick which shows are vying for my time and money (or which would've been if they weren't sold out). This is not intended to be an exhaustive list as there are other non-reddit resources that cast a wider net on live shows, including pop, hip hop and comedy shows, but feel free to add any missing shows using the comments (especially for other genres).
As usual, listed times are approximate start times (not door); prices are estimates for door tickets, and do not include online fees and taxes.

2023.06.05 05:33 moishepesach [HR] [MS] For Whom The Willow Weeps

Question: If April flowers bring May showers, what do May flowers bring?
Answer: Puritans and misery.
Part 1 - May Flower Moon
I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure this is a ghost story. It all started in early May under the, "Flower Moon".
In the still of the night, I awoke from a deep sleep to witness a moonlight so spectacular it hurt my eyes.
Fumbling for my glasses, I found them, dropped them, cursed, then almost stepped on them. I finally got them where they belonged thinking I needed to use the bathroom. I glanced at the digital clock on my desk.
3:33 am. Again.
Willow weep for me
Bend your branches down along the ground and cover me
-Ann Ronell as sung by Billie Holiday
The birds were chirping loudly. I shuffled to the window. I looked up wide-eyed at the sky. There was the moon; big, round and golden like it didn't mind a big electricity bill. As I used the bathroom, I remember thinking that I didn't ever remember a full moon so bright it could light up my apartment.
I washed my hands then splashed warm water on my face. I cracked my neck. I dried my hands and face with a towel. I remember thinking if I didn't get back to sleep the day was going to suck.
Shuffling back into my bedroom I thought to look for my ski hat. I figured I could pull it over my eyes and escape the light under the blanket. Flower Moon was beautiful but so too is sleep. If I could just hide under the blanket perhaps it wasn't too late for sleep to creep up on me.
I have been renting the same sunny shoebox in old Brooklyn for more than 20 years. It's a corner apartment on the second floor of a 19th century walkup. Across the street, diagonally resides a community garden fronted by a very tall and expansive weeping willow tree that won't let me move away. I didn't know it's age until recently. But it's younger than me. Most things are these days.
I shuffled to the corner window to squeeze the blinds tight and that's when I felt grateful, grateful I had decided to use the bathroom first.
There, at the base of the hundred-foot-tall willow, behind the wrought iron fence, illuminated beneath the moon's glow, I witnessed something that froze my blood and tested my aging bladder. Standing beneath the moonlight, I saw, clear as day, a little boy in footed pajamas with a trap door. The little boy was holding a blue stuffed Grover Muppet in one hand and crying.
Trying to get a good look at the boy was like trying to look at something from behind a campfire. There was a shimmering distortion. What I could clearly see was that he was pointing down at the ground in front of his feet with the non-Grover hand. Suddenly, the little boy spun his head up and around looking directly at me. Eye contact occurred and then too, something I can't explain.
First, a truck transporting fuel broke loudly for the red light at the corner. Through the open windows I smelled what seemed like diesel. I grew light-headed. The room spun around. I remember thinking this feeling smelled both nauseating as well as timeless.
I reached down to try and pick up the floor and that's when it hit me in the face. A sharp pain across my cheek like I had been slapped in a 3 Stooges short. I felt icy fingers grab the hair I had not had in over 30 years and jerk my head back. I smelled more diesel. I grabbed the edge of the desk to keep from losing my balance.
Holding on to the desk, I noticed my mind's eye was playing the little boy's face like a movie. The camera panned in. His little boy face filled my consciousness like I was watching from the front row. He was about four or five years old with long dirty blonde hair. His face looked familiar from a dream.
Then, another slapping pain turned my last good cheek. Losing my balance, I fell ass first to the floor.
Out the window, from on my ass, I watched the traffic light turn green. I heard the truck lurch into gear, rev it's engine then drive away. As it rumbled off into the distance my equilibrium returned.
Muttering my life sucked I gently shook my head and felt for damage. Just my non-existent pride. I got myself vertical, yet once again; feeling a distinct twinge of anxiety.
I looked out the window but the little boy was gone. An FDNY ambulance took his place, it's siren jarring me back to reality. I closed the blinds and got under the blanket. I never did really get back to sleep that night. Or ever since.
Part II - Unhappily Ever Since
Sad as I can be Hear me willow and weep for me... -Billie I keep seeing a little boy under the tree... - me ...
The first thing I want to say is that I keep waking up for decades at exactly 3:33 am.
It's the exact time my decrepit birth certificate claims I was introduced to this world. Can't say why, but ever since digital clocks became a thing, I'm up more often than not to witness 3:33 am transpire. Never remember it happening before digital.
One of my friends recently told me it was an angel number. I don't know anything about angels. Never met one. But I for sure have met some demons in my day. In fact. you might say I was born of demon mother, and I might not be offended. Back to my birth certificate. I was born and yes, still live in Brooklyn, New York. There were gaps but it's my home.
I moved to this particular apartment building a few months after 9/11. I had moved in with a woman at the tail end of doing a romantic nickel, but that fell apart like Madoff, Abramoff or Fuckoff, and she married another dude a year later. So, there in 2002, I and my faithful golden retriever, Spenser, found ourselves, for the very first time, on our own. And, we liked it.
Like I mentioned, Spenser and I lived diagonal to a community garden that fronts a big and beautiful weeping willow tree. I felt an immediate kinship as my favorite book as a child had been, "The Giving Tree" and that's what she reminded me of; only more beautiful.
There will be more about the tree. Anyway, the tree and I dwell in an old part of south Brooklyn called Park Slope, infamous for being the stomping grounds of a young Al Capone, and, believe it or not, young me.
That was a long time ago. Things have changed a lot since Al and I, were separately roaming the streets of Park Slope, looking for adventure and whatever came our way. I came up in the day when if you cried your mother would give you something to cry about. And, not going to lie, I cried a lot. I don't remember my dad that much.
I remember he was a hippie. I remember he had a big beard and moustache and long hair. I remember his denim jacket was always cold, smelling like weed and cigarettes. I remember he gave me, "The Giving Tree" and taught me how to read it. And then, I remember he was; gone. Just. Gone.
I also remember my mother. I remember her never talking much. I remember her just smelling like hair spray, cigarettes and instant coffee with sour milk. I never was able to drink milk, not even as a child, and to this very day just the sight of a milk carton turns my stomach to acid.
I lived alone with the old lady about half a mile from where I live now. Yeah, in over thirty years I made it a whole thirteen blocks. Like I said, my pride was non-existent these days unless I was sitting on it. Another, weird thing besides waking up at 3:33 am is I have a lot of memory lapses. It has been getting worse the last few years. Especially, since old Spenser had a seizure in my arms back on the 9/11 of '09. He was fifteen and my best friend. I'd always loved dogs. But after losing Spenser, I couldn't quite remember things right all the time.
Sometimes, it was little things. Like did I turn off the stove or lock the front door. Other times, it was deep things, like did the telephone repair man try to do something to me when I was five and left home alone. Like did I pull a kitchen knife on him before he scampered out like a thief in the night; scared he'd be caught by my screams for Batman? Did I remember my mother having strange guests over late at night? Did I remember being locked in my room? I just couldn't remember anymore.
I had taken to obsessively keeping lists. But you can't put ghost-busting on a list, can you? And that was my real problem. Ever since, the May Flower Moon the haunting just kept rinsing and repeating. Eat edibles, Nyquil, and Advil PM and still wake up at 3:33am. Smell diesel. Wave of nausea. Little boy in garden. Little boy crying. Little boy pointing at something. Little boy looking up at me. Little boy. Little boy. Little boy.
By last Friday, I was a mess.
My work is suffering. I am too embarrassed to tell my aunt or besties I see a little boy. They already think I am weird enough and last thing I need is a wellness check.
To remain scientific, I have continued my daytime visits to the garden whenever it is open. Everything seems so lovely in the day. I even brought the new woman I am seeing. She fell in love with the tree at first sight. The flowers are gorgeous. And the roses; so mesmerizing. Even the fish in the koi pond are happy.
But at night. Something isn't right.
...Weeping willow tree Weeping sympathy Bend your branches down along the ground and cover me Listen to me plead Hear me willow and weep for me...
My new friend at work I mentioned, who told me about angel numbers, asked me recently if something was bothering me. She told me when we met, she is in the midst of a spiritual awakening.
Part of it includes awakening every morning to read the Tarot cards and commune with who, or what, she calls, "spirit".
I cracked and told her about the little boy under the tree. She didn't bat an eye. She told me spirit wants something from me. I didn't know what to say to that so I just left it alone. I guess I'm afraid what if she's right. And what if I don't like what, "spirit" wants?
Last night was Saturday. I had a dream.
That night I dreamed about a collie I had when I was a very young boy right after my dad split. Her name was Pearl. I had found her on the street on my block and for some inexplicable reason had been allowed to keep her.
Not long after, one hot summer day in Prospect Park, when my mother was going to give me something to cry about, Pearl suddenly ran down the hill she was frolicking on, making a wide sweeping arc that screamed, "ride or die, full throttle, and damn the fucking torpedoes," it's trajectory directly between my mother's legs. Fur overcame flesh just in the nick before I was given something to cry about.
Instead, I laughed.
I laughed so fucking hysterically at the sight of her on the grass, on her ass; smug look gone with the wind; replaced by an expression seething red menace that would have been McCarthy's wet dream.
And, like the little boy at 3:33 am, Pearl's eyes met mine. She seemed to nod her collie head, as if she were acknowledging that, yes, she was the best dog and don't you forget it. I didn't cry much for a while after that till I came home from school and Pearl was gone. Just gone. To some farm I was told. Where she could be happier. So, I guess I did get something to cry about after all.
And then last night I had a dream.
Part III - It weeps for me?
I dreamed of Peter Pan and buried treasure. I dreamed of Stove Stop stuffing and commercials loud enough to drown out a breech birth. I dreamed of Spider-Man letting Uncle Ben's killer go free. I dreamed of being American. I dreamed of Watergate, the fall of the Berlin wall, 9/11 and watching people jump out windows to avoid burning to death out the window of my office.
I dreamed of Iraq and Afghanistan and George Floyd and Covid and never-ending cycles of boom and bust. I dreamed of a golden carrot on what started out as a stick but soon morphed into what I realized was a branch. A long flowing beautiful branch covered in red. A branch that hung low. It swayed along the ground, swayed above my head and there I was.
I was in the garden. Under the tree. I felt drops of warm dew caressing my face. I was about to reach up to caress the tree. My tree. I noticed I was wearing pajamas. Not the black satin jammies I had been wearing for decades but old footie pajamas. They were Star Trek pajamas. With three golden rings on the cuffs and a trap door.
A drop of dew fell in my eye. I wiped it away and looked at my hand. It was red. Red with blood. My Mickey Mouse watch involuntarily color-coordinated with the blood. It appeared to be just after 3:30 am.
Suddenly, a dog appeared. It was Pearl. Then another, it was Spenser. They jammed their snouts into my flannel covered crotch. I pet them both and noticed my tears mixing with the dewy blood drops turning them a soft pink under the moonlight.
"Good boy. Good girl." I said.
"Hi," a voice I recognized but couldn't place said.
I looked around. And there, was, the little boy. And, in his hand was Grover.
"Hi," I heard myself say.
"Who's the dog?" he said.
"That's Pearl. And this is Spenser." I answered.
"I know Pearl, silly. She's my dog," then, "Hi, Spenser."
Spenser left my crotch for the little boy's. They went together like peanut butter and sandwiches.
"Where are your parents?" I heard myself ask.
"Dad left. Mom told me to stay here until she comes back."
"When was that?" I asked.
The little boy shrugged then, "Been a while I guess," and he started to cry. Spenser got agitated and started to whine. I approached. I went to put my hand on the boy's shoulder and he jumped.
"Hey, it's okay." I took my hand back.
He looked up at me. Then he said, "You want to see something?
I said, "Yes."
The little boy fished around in his pajamas and pulled out something, it looked like a piece of rolled up construction paper secured with a red ribbon that matched the bloody dew drops.
He un-scrolled it then solemnly showed it to me.
It appeared to be a child's treasure map. That ended in the garden. Only it wasn't a garden. It said, "JUNK YARD" and there was a big X next to the corner of the rectangle the words were written in. I looked down at him.
"There's no junk yard here, son," I said.
The little boy looked away from Spenser and up at me. Pearl ran to his side. I felt six eyes on me.
"That's what you think," he said
A moment later there was the loud cracking of fireworks being detonated. I awoke in my bed. Fumbling for my glasses, I found them, dropped them, cursed, then almost stepped on them. I finally got them where they belonged thinking I needed to use the bathroom. I glanced at the digital clock on my desk.
3:33 am. Again.
I ran to the window to look out. But, unlike every other time for the past month, the boy was not in residence. He was gone. Just. Gone.
Part IV - The is The End
Gone my lovely dreams To weep my tears along the stream Sad as I can be Hear me willow and weep for me
...
This was fucking ridiculous. I am sane. I am not mad. I'd been reading, "The Giving Tree," too much. Spending too much time alone working from home. Maybe I just needed to get away. Take a trip somewhere.
I realized getting back to sleep was going to be impossible. So, I went into the kitchen and made a pot of tea. No milk.
Back at my desk, my "SHIT. FUCK. DAMN." glass mug of tea firmly in hand, I took a deep breath. There was no point in giving myself a heart attack. Maybe it was just anxiety. Maybe panic attacks. I had dated lots of neurotic women. That could be it. Maybe some Lexapro and I'd be good as new. I decided to check my email.
A woman I used to date from Queens and stayed friends with had sent me a link entitled, "Birth of a community garden." It was video to my garden. Before it was a garden. Over forty years ago. It was a decrepit vacant lot filled with dead cars and refuse and apparently had been a neighborhood drug bazaar. Like I said, things have changed a lot since Al and I were young as springtime.
By the time I moved back you would have never known what things had used to look like. Spray painted signs that read, "NO DRUGS SOLD HERE!" and the like. Just like the Batman, Dark Knight, the 80s were a time when Urban Renewal was striking back. And before you could say, "corruption at City Hall," there was fecund soil where once had stood God knows what.
It gave me hope that humanity wasn't so bad. Maybe I had just been going through a tough time. Maybe I should quit while I am ahead and get a good night's rest. So, I closed the blinds and went to bed.
Why I am never sleeping again
That night I dreamed I was part of the junk yard's saviors. Hauling out decades of festering trash and replacing it with good old Mother Earth. A whole community coming together to commune with nature. I felt myself smile.
All day we hoed the rows. The fecundity of the soil filling my nostrils. There was food and laughter and soon day turned to night. One by one all the gardeners left into the dusk. Soon I stood alone next to a young woman. She held a green army duffle bag. And two shovels.
"You look like a big, strong man. They're going to be planting a weeping willow tree here soon. But first, I wanted to leave the earth a special gift to grow up with the tree. This time I think we should give to the tree. Won't you help me?"
I felt a passing twinge of disgust. I rubbed my upper lip with the back of my hand and thought I smelled the faint smell of diesel. I heard myself say, "Hand me a shovel."
An hour later I had fulfilled the lady's request to deposit the duffel bag deep within the new garden's soil. She lit a cigarette I recognized. She blew some smoke in my face and it smelled like sour milk.
"Ever read a boy and his dog?" she asked.
I nodded.
"This is the opposite," she said. I smelled the diesel again and then remembered no more.
This morning I awoke feeling none too swell. I got my glasses on without dropping them for a change then sort of hobbled to the kitchen area to make some tea. I opened the blinds and there was my weeping willow tree. Swaying gently in the Sunday early June overcast chill.
Implacable. Inscrutable. True to it's nature. The day was gray as a widow's anniversary.
Well, there's always tea, I thought, ever the optimist. And then I dropped my, "SHIT. FUCK. DAMN." mug on my foot, simultaneously battering and scalding it. I let out a yelp.
Then, mouth agape, I smelled the diesel waft in the window by the fire escape. The window, where, leaning against the fire escape's stairs I witnessed something that froze my blood and tested my aging bladder.
I spied two shovels and an empty duffle bag.
I wonder what spirit will have to say about that?

2023.06.05 04:42 BlackTemplars Hawaii - two week honeymoon trip review Dec 2022

Have some time to finally write a trip review for Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii for my honeymoon in December 2022 for two weeks. Mid December and left for home on Christmas Day. This was our first time redeeming cc points for anything, so lots of trial and error and lessons learned.
My wife and I had gotten married in October and were actually not planning going on honeymoon until Spring 2023 until we researched further and managed to make December 2022 work in our favor. We started planning and booking reservations TWO months before our trip. We are very fortunate to have done it in that time span and managed to make almost everything work out.
IAD - DTW - SEA - OGG on Delta, First Class One way.
Maui
Day 1
Got to Maui late in the night and picked up our rental car, a Chevy Equinox, with Enterprise. Used my Hilton Aspire to get 7x points.
One night at Courtyard Marriott by the airport and paid $500.
It was the best we could do with our timing.
Day 2 - 6
Breakfast and lunch was by the food trucks near Costco. Shopping nearby for supplies for our vacation.
Meals (Costco food trucks):
5 nights at the Grand Wailea - 440,000 HH points
Left to check into our resort the Grand Wailea in Wailea. Both the wife and I are Hilton Diamond members. Mine through the Hilton Aspire and she has status through actual stays. We booked these nights through her account and using all Hilton points. Each reward night was 110,000 points and we got the 5th night free. So 440,000 points total.
This resort was huge and immaculate. Words can describe how nice this place is and the customer service is SUPERB. Literally, the best we have ever experienced. You only have to see and experience it for yourself. My wife and I still talk weekly about the Grand Wailea.
We booked the Terrace View - 1 King Bed as the Standard Night Reward and upon arrival we were upgraded to the Deluxe Ocean View - 1 King Bed in the Molokini wing. Breathtaking views! Avg cash price so this room type is around ~$988 before taxes, fees so it comes to 0.89 CPP (if not including taxes, fees in the total). All meals, incidentals, shopping, and experiences were put onto my Hilton Aspire. Daily food and beverage credit was $25 each for the two of us and used usually at their divine but pricey breakfast buffet. No resort fees charged for booking with points which saved us hundreds of dollars. We immensely enjoyed ourselves at this resort and the lush, manicured surrounding area.
Meals:
Experiences: renting a cabana at the Grand Wailea pool, spa day at the Four Seasons with outdoor hale beachside, Wailea Beach, hiking Twin Falls, Baby Beach, Haleakala National Park
Day 7 - 8
Two nights at the Hotel Wailea, Relais & Chateaux using Amex FHR.
Paid total ~$3400 for the One bedroom, Luxury Suite, Ocean View. Unfortunately, no upgrade upon checking in. Hotel was sold out. Daily breakfast in the form of $30 credit per person and $100 food/bev credit given through the FHR. This stay triggered the $200 FHR credit for my wife's Amex Plat
Quiet, small resort, adults only. We enjoyed our stay here and loved our room. Bed was harder than what we were use to and it was far from the beach. Otherwise we loved the restaurant and the ability to "get away". One of the top hotels in Maui and all of Hawaii. Price tag to boot.
Meals:
Experiences: cabana and pool day at Hotel Wailea, spa day at Montage Kapalua Bay. Outdoor hale with hot tub.
Big Island of Hawaii
Day 9 OGG - KOA (Big Island) round trip booked with Hawaiian Airlines. $106 for each of us before baggage fees. Booked direct using wife's Amex Plat.
Arrived to the Big Island and rented a Toyota Prius though Budget. Paid using Hilton Aspire.
Day 9 - 15
We booked the Hilton Waikoloa Village using all Hilton points, 6 nights in total with one night free. 350,000 pts in total used, 70,000 each night. Initially the standard room redemption was for the Palace Tower Resort View - 1 King Bed and was going for ~$540 a night before taxes/fees so CPP was 0.77. We realized even before our trip that the Palace Tower and old, needed a refresh, and was terribly far from the beach and the parking lot. We asked for an upgrade when we checked in and was given the option to move to the Makai Tower - Ocean View 1 King Bed for an additional $75 per night. We promptly took this offer. This room runs ~$694 per night before taxes/fees and if I subtract the $75 per night, I calculate this to be 0.88 CPP. The Makai tower was much better, our room overlooked the ocean and part of the resort. Frankly, Palace looked like dogshit. Daily F&B credit was $18 for each person. Incidentals again went onto my Hilton Aspire.
Towards the end of our stay, we stayed at the DoubleTree Hilo using 50,000 pts. Room rate was $308 before taxes/fess. CPP was 0.61. This was on the other side of the island and very far from Hilton Waikoloa so we decided to stay overnight there after hiking Volcanoes NP instead of driving to the west side in the middle of the night.
Meals:
Experiences: Kauna'oa Beach, Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing (this is a must!!), Captain Cook monument snorkeling, Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National historical park, Punalu-u Black Sand Beach, Volcanoes National Park, Akaka Falls.
Trip home: OGG - LAX - IAD. United, First Class One way.
Overall, an EXCELLENT trip. We were amazed and thrilled to do so much in two weeks and in such short notice. Again, only two months to plan once our dates were finalized. Between my wife and I, we have the Amex Plat and Gold, Hilton Honors and Aspire, and CFU, CSP. Each card strategically used during our trip. The FHR credit triggered for my wife, and my Aspire triggered the $250 resort credit. If I had to guess, we saved ~$15,000 or more by redeeming CC points. Hope this data point helps some of you trip planning, happy to answer any questions.

2023.06.05 04:01 sumiledon Theories for Beyond the Spider-Verse. Let me know what you think will happen!

Hey guys! OMG, that movie was incredible. A huge testimate to not only the capabilities of animation, but quality storytelling from the perspective of TWO protagonists. DEUTERAGONIST movies are pretty rare because they are hard to do well, and this one does it PERFECTLY.
Apologies for the word vomit below. But I had so much fun theorizing the next film and I would love to hear your guys opinions on how you believe Beyond the Spider-Verse will unfold.
The directors came out and stated that the first two spider-verse movies are about Miles evolving into two things. The first movie was miles growing from a kid to a superhero at the end. The second movie was about Miles growing from a boy to a Man at the end, not afraid of anything the world throws at him anymore. The third movie will be about Miles as a full fledged confident Superhero AND Man, and I CANNOT wait to see my man Miles taking control of his destiny in the next film.

Because of Gwen and Miles stories being synonomous with one another, me and my friends are having so much fun theorizing scenes that we think will happen in the next movie. So I will list off the various theories that we are having, and I would love to see how lilkely you all feel like they could happen.

We loved how the climax began with Gwen talking directly to Miles's parents about him, (wearing his hoodie by the way), telling them how much she cares for him and how much he cares for them. Ending with Rio telling Gwen to let him know that they love him. Considering how competitive Rio was towards Gwen before this point, (as many mothers are towards their teenage son's love interests) we took this as Rio finally accepting the fact that Miles, WILL find confort in other women outside of his mother now, and Gwen will probably be that woman.

  1. Captain Stacy, similar to Rio, has similar fears about losing/not being able to protect his daughter. We think that as a mirror to Gwens scene with Rio and Jeff, there will be an emotional moment in Beyond the Spider-verse, where Miles will have a 1on1 heart to heart with Captain Stacey, where Gwen's father realizes that Miles will probably be the new Man of Gwen's life that she looks to for security and confort. Maybe a similar climax where after Miles forgives Gwen, shes in a bad situation with the spot or Miguel, and he makes a promise to Captain Stacy about keeping her safe and bringing her back home.

We feel that Miguels extreme anger and agression was way too extreme for his actions, especially his comments about Miles not being a real spider-man. To where we feel like he is definetely projecting.

  1. We think there will be a reveal where Miguel not being like the other spiders, or a "real" spider-man is an insecruity he has. And because he could never have a true happy life, part of his anger and jelously is the fact that Miles, who is an anomoly, can think that he can be lucky enough to actually get bit AND have a happy life not filled with constant trauma, angers him. I feel that insecurity will be revealed more in Beyond.

Why arent there any other Miles Morales Spider-men in the movie? Did anyone notice that or find that weird? Like even Spider-man PS4 Miles wasnt in there while PS4 Peter was. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are very detail oriented people. I cant imaging they didnt put one in the movie just because they feel like it wouldnt fit. Given the plot, it would actually fit perfectly for an actual Miles spider-man varient to give his perspective on the matter. Unless...there is a narrative reason for no Miles to be there.

  1. I think that there is no other Miles Spider-man as of now. Even in the PS4 universe, Miles morales Spider-man doesnt exist. And whatever occurs in the next movie will end up destroying the "Canon" everywhere for good, leading to the existence of Miles Morales's everywhere in the timelines more. There is nothing in the movie that gives me this belief, aside from the fact that I have to believe there must be a reason why not a single one of the many Miles Morales Spider-man varients showed up in this strike force or movie, but nearly every single Peter Parker varient we can think of, does appear. Like their should be a reason right?

One of the directors of this movie was Kemp Powers, the director of the Pixar movie Soul, and an Oscar nominated screenplay writer. In an interview with the spider-verse directors he stated that he was the one in charge of directing all of the character interactions and actor voice direction. And it shows with the amount of authentic black and latino expression with the actors and animators in this movie. Prowler Miles from Earth-42 was such a dope reveal, and it is known that he was supposed to be the spider-man of that unvierse before the spider went to our Miles' universe instead. I am excited to see what he will be like.

  1. We have an idea that he will actually be an Anti-hero and not a straight up villain, or if he is a villain he will become an antihero later and team up with Miles. Seeing both Miles look at each other gave me Huey and Riley vibes from the Boondocks. And I cant help but be exicted to see how their dynamic will be in the film. But in particular we feel like there will be a "Twin Switch" trope present in the movie. Like The Parent Trap, etc. where Earth-42 Miles pretends to be our Miles or vice versa. Either as an enemy, or as an allie. Do you guys think a moment like that will occur? I feel like its natural when a dynamic like this is introduced.

Overall I LOVED the team up with Miles, Hobbie, Gwen and Spider-man India in Mumbatton. It was such the perfect teenager superhero fight scene that felt like actual superhero teenagers fighting together, without it coming across as cringe.

  1. This is what I would want a Young Avengers movie to be like, and with Spider-byte and Peni on the team now, I hope we get alot more teenager dynamics within the next film, within the fights and even some teenage drama. Nothing to detract from the plot, but ones that work within the plot to up the team element and give moments of chemistry between all the team members, would be fantastic, and can provide a lot of giggles and oos and ahs for the young audience watching, that love that sort of thing, if done right.

"Gwen Stacy falls in Love with Spider-man and dies" This is a theme brought up directly in the movie and I feel will be addressed in the next film. Gwen is afraid of pursuing a relationship with Miles because she believes it could lead to her death.
  1. We believe that part of her development in this movie was her realizing from Miles that anything is possible, and that she will give Fate and the Canon, the finger, and follow her heart and gut, ignoring what the universe, or Miguel is saying should happen.

Speaking of teenage moments, the "love triangle" of Gwen, Hobbie and Miles was fun because it was mostly never really addressed and kind of just in the air. Like did Gwen and Hobbie hook up a couple times?....i mean maybe, but Hobbie doesnt seem territorial, and Gwen seems to be very much more emotionally interested in Miles. I love how they just make Hobbie a chill guys with Miles. But did anyone see the Spider-byte and Miles Chemestry when they first met. Both of their spider-senses went off...which never happend with Miles and anyone else there, and we see that Miles flirts with her a little, to the point where Gwen demands they leave, gets a little jelous and webs miles to pull him to her so they can walk on to Miguel.

  1. I think mirroring the hobbie, gwen and Miles dynamic, there will be a little teenagery jelous dynamic but with spider-byte, miles and Gwen, but this time Gwen being the Jelous party. Not anything super shallow or padantic. But some cute teenage jealousy moments possibly here or there with Gwen, similar to Miles in this movie. Maybe have a moment between Hobbie and Spider-byte where they recognize Miles and Gwens jealousy involving the both of them and roll their eyes at how in love they are. Could be cute.

The producers stated that a live action movie is in the works and coming very soon. This gave me "links to spider-verse" vibes. her is a theory that live action Miles Morales from the MCU will make his first appearence at the end of the next movie. As an introduction and a lead in to who will be the next Miles Morales movie franchise protagonist.

  1. I think it would be cool, if the final scene of the movie would be Miguel or Miles or anyone going to Universe 199999 for a mission or whatever to track down the spider-man, and they think its Tom Holland only to find its another signerture, and we see for the first time, the Miles Morales of the MCU. Or something like that.

Some smaller theories
  1. Miles and Gwen will end up together.
  2. Miles will get to save his father AND the multi-verse with no major sacrifice.
  3. Nobody of note will die. (This is one of the few epic movies where I would be okay with that)
12 Live action Spider-man will actually show up in the movie.
  1. Spider-man PS4 Peter and Miles will be in here as actual speaking roles and part of the final fights.(I feel like, there is no reason for that to not be the case, and as Sony owns them both and it is incredibly easy to get them in, I cant see why they wouldnt be.)

Sorry for the word vomit. Let me know you agree with the theories!

2023.06.05 03:07 London-Roma-1980 CONFERENCE MATCHDAY 1 PREVIEW

The time for figuring out conference strength is over. It's now time to figure out who the best is in each conference. In a way, this is a more important segment of the season, taking up 2/3 of the time and a majority of the games. From the MEAC Celebration Event to the Conference Tournaments, everything is on the line here.
And fortunately, the concentration of the top 25 in six conferences means we've got a lot of important games. We even kick off with a battle between two top 10 teams! Let's get to it.
*****
#6 Michigan State (9-3, 0-0) at #7 Michigan (9-3, 0-0). Michigan's struggle down the stretch, with two consecutive losses, leaves them behind their rival in the current rankings. But right away, they'll get a chance to fix it.
"Little Brother thinks they mean something right now, huh?" Juwan Howard joked. "We're ready for this. Forget about Big Ten, tournament seeding, ranking. We just wanna whup 'em."
Both teams faced off against top competition in the non-conference schedule, but Michigan holds the bigger upset, knocking off Duke in a stunning development. Michigan State, meanwhile, lost one of their three games with a short bench thanks to a brawl against Notre Dame.
"We're not doing that again if that's what you're asking," coach Tom Izzo said. "We're going to prove our might on the court by winning the game."

In addition to the conference play, there will be two sets of non-conference games going on during this season. One is a series of exhibitions in the ACC, as the North Division, Charter Division, and South Division All-Stars play a round robin. The North draws from Boston College, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. The Charter draws from Clemson, Duke, NC State, North Carolina, and Wake Forest. The South draws from Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami of Florida, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Each squad sends three players to the All-Star showcases.
In addition, the MEAC teams will play an 8-team "in-season tournament" called the Celebration Tournament. Opening matches and positions in the bracket were decided by random draw. Your performance in the tournament is the second tiebreaker (behind in-season head-to-head) for conference standings.

Training- Having just ran my first 5k in March, I wasn't sure what my next race what I was capable of. I have always been intimidated of the longer distances (10k and up). My longest run prior to starting my training plan was 7 miles.
I started on Hal Higdon's intermediate 2 half marathon plan after my 5k and was very intimidated by it at first. I ran 5 days a week averaging around 20-35 miles at its peak.
As my long runs started surpassing 7 miles I remember being totally exhausted after and was left questioning how I could finish a half marathon let alone hold race pace for so long. One workout that stood out was the 12 mile long run the week before. I recreated the race to some degree and somehow I ended up finishing that run in 2:34 minutes. This was a huge hit to my confidence and at this point i was just going to go for the finish.
Taper week I wasn't feeling the freshest but towards race day I felt fine.
Pre-race
The day before I had a very relaxing day with the wife. We Picked up the bib and sat on the beach for a few hours and went out for spaghetti at night. We stayed in a hotel and bed time ended up being a problem for me. I think it was pre race anxiety but I fell asleep at 12am and woke up at around 530am.
I had a PBJ and some electrolytes, got dressed and headed to the corals. At the Corals is where things started to fall apart again, I went to put my phone in my spandex pocket and I ended up putting on the spandex INSIDE OUT. I also had a packet of GU chews with me and I noticed those were MISSING. I put reached into my pants in front of everyone and left my phone there the rest of the race, as far as fueling I was going to rely on water stops and the race began.
Race
I started off feeling really good, I just bought a new pair of Adios pro 3s and they had me cruising along. I felt like I was running at 11:30-12:30 pace, but in reality I was nailing my splits.
The Adrenaline and Taper week were really benefiting me at this point. Once I hit the 5k mark I remember feeling a side stich coming in around my right abdomen and it had me really worried. I eased up slightly and luckily it went away after a few minutes.
After mile 5 I noticed that the water stations had a mountain of GU's like way more than they probably needed. That boosted my confidence back up from the beginning where I realized that I had lost my Gus. Around mile 8-9 is where i think i hit my runners high, I started going 10-20 seconds faster per split and I remember just being on top of the world because my splits were all hitting.
Throughout the day I had this fear of blowing up and I started to ease up after those two faster miles. The rest of the way I was feeling fatigued and slowed back down to a 10:30 ish pace and was happy to finish around that speed.
Post-race
When I crossed the finish line I saw the time at 2:22 which had me a bit disappointed but at least my garmin said 2:16. I didnt realize the finish line time was not my actual time. My legs felt like jello and I started refuling with gatorade, water and bananas.
Once I saw my splits on garmin and the race website I was elated at how well I executed. I started panicking the final week and thought about implementing a run walk strategy, and garmin pacing but at the end I just ended up walking the water stations briefly. I feel like I gained a lot of knowledge after this half marathon, about what I am capable of, and for the next one I will feel 100 percent more confident.

2023.06.05 00:14 LarkspurSong Etiquette for ordering in the rain?

I don’t order delivery in bad rainy or snowy weather, but today was just drizzling so I thought it would be fine as long as I upped the tip a bit from normal ($9 for a restaurant less than 1 mile away, small order of 2 sandwiches).
I had the order set to “contactless - leave at door” and I’ve never had an issue before, but this time the driver called and demanded I come meet him at his car to get the food. He was parked across the street (I could see him clearly). I just had socks on, so I asked if he could bring it to the bottom of the porch steps and I’d meet him there. He got mad and said something like I shouldn’t expect people to deliver in the rain if I wasn’t willing to get it myself, but he met me at the porch steps. He was rude and just kept shaking his head saying “can’t believe some people” under his breath.
I’d understand if it were a big apartment complex where he didn’t know where to go and didn’t want to wander in the rain, but he was literally 10ft from my door step. Hell, if he had just nicely asked me to meet him on the sidewalk I would have probably done it, but he was rude from the get go. I’d also understand the point if it were a downpour, but it really was barely a drizzle.
Is it expected for you to meet EATS drivers at their cars now if it’s raining? Is there some etiquette I’m missing here or was that guy just weird? If I’m in the wrong I’ll up the guy’s tip, I’m just confused here.
EDIT: Thank you for the sanity check everyone! In retrospect, it was a ridiculous question: of course the driver should have just made the delivery as usual. He just seemed so offended that I expected him to bring the food to my doorstep that I was second guessing myself. I’ve never had any trouble with UberEATS before (well, at least not with any drivers anyway), so his attitude caught me by surprise. I did see a couple questions some people had, so here’s a bit more info:

2023.06.05 00:01 ImprovPortland The Monday After Work Forest Walk Is Still On! - Just light rain forecast in the morning

6pm - Oat Nuts Park - We'll be casually walking down to the Presumpscot River, going along it for a bit, then turning around and heading back up the way we came. 2 1/2 miles total.

If weird cartoon rectangles with heart feet don't sell you on this forest walk, then...I dunno.
Most hiking clubs revolve around big hikes on the weekends, but there's also so many cool trails within fifteen minutes of Portland, and I was thinking it could be a fun, low-commitment way to get a little exercise and meet other people who are into nature and walking/hiking/whatever.
This is being organized through "Get After It", which is a Portland-based hiking, climbing, biking, etc group. If you're into anything outdoors and looking for other people to do it with, check it out!

Okay, cool! Hope to see a few of ya out there!

Police searched for explosives with K-9 units but did not find "physical evidence to substantiate there was a credible threat to public safety.”
News Chopper 12 flew over the store. Police presence, employees outside the store, and shopping carts blocking the entrance of the parking lot could be observed from the helicopter.

2023.06.04 23:27 truedilemma What happened to these six older and elderly women? A write up of five women who went missing under mysterious circumstances.

This post is about a couple of older and elderly women who vanished without a trace. I wanted to include women who disappeared without much of an explanation. When elderly people go missing, their disappearances can often be chalked up to a dementia-related event. I believe many elderly people who vanished with their cars may be in the bottom of lakes and rivers. Those who lived near wilderness may have gotten lost and died of exposure. Those who were picked up or hitchhiked could've been brought to a hospital where they were unable to communicate their true identity. The women I included went missing under more suspicious circumstances.
Mayme Hart Johnson - Disappeared June 12th, 2000 from Nashville, Tennessee.
Mayme is the first on the list and the reason I decided to do this post. On June 12th, 2000, Mayme Hart Johnson, a local historian, researcher, and teacher went missing from Nashville, Tennessee. Mayme, who was 85, lived in the 100 block of Bosley Springs Road in West Nashville with her son, Sam, in his apartment. At 6:30 am that morning, her son woke to find his mother gone. While he reported that he wasn't initially concerned because Mayme occasionally left the apartment around that time, he became alarmed when she didn't return by lunchtime. Where Mayme would go/what she would do at that time is not known. Richland Creek is close by to the apartments, but from what I've seen, it's narrow and a body would probably soon be found if it was in there, despite it being 28 miles long. Of course, there is always a chance she made it into a larger body of water that concealed her. A maintenance man from the Johnson's building told authorities that he had seen Mayme at 6:30 am the day she went missing. This was around the time Sam woke up. Whether this employee saw her outside the building, inside the building, near or on her apartment floor, or down the street is not mentioned. At the time of her disappearance Mayme was 5'5, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair, and last seen wearing pink pants and a pink blouse. Whether these were pajamas or not (possibly indicating a dementia-like episode, where she got up out of the house and left without telling her son or getting dressed) is, like many things in this case, unknown. Mayme, as I mentioned, was a historian and if you google her name you will find a few sites that show her body of work. In 1986, she published "A Treasury of Tennessee Churches". A search for Mayme was conducted in the Nashville area and extended to Huntingdon, TN, where her husband's grave was, and where she had been visiting the weekend before she vanished. There was also an aerial search of Eastern Maury County that took place in July 2000 after law enforcement came up with a theory that she could be a target of the I-65 rapist. I'm not sure where police got this idea from. The I-65/Days Inn Killer, now identified as Harry Edward Greenwell, murdered three hotel clerks (ages 21, 24, 34) in the late 1980s. He also sexually assaulted a 21 year old hotel clerk in 1990. While LE does believe he's connected to more violent crimes, I'm not sure how they link Mayme to him--if you know, please add your knowledge in the comments. After the aerial search, nothing was found linking anything to Mayme. In 2008 she was declared deceased.

Helen Joyce Rawley - disappeared June 4th, 2003 from College Park, Maryland
Helen Joyce Rawley lived in a bungalow on the 4600 block of Knox Road in College Park, Maryland with her son. 75 year old Helen went by her middle name "Joyce" so that is how I'll refer to her. Seventy-five year old Joyce and her son, Tom, had lived together since the death of Joyce's husband of 48 years, Nelson, in 2001. Between 6:45 and 7:00 am on June 4th, 2003, Joyce was last seen by her tenant, a man who had rented a room at the Rawley home for the last eight years. Joyce was seen by him on her porch that morning as he returned home from work. Beginning the day after her husband died in February 2001, Joyce suffered two strokes four days apart. Because of the strokes, she was unable to talk and considered disabled because of her inability to communicate. In 2002, Joyce underwent chemotherapy and radiation for rectal cancer. She was on medication that made her tired and weak. She didn't go out anywhere by herself except to get the mail. Her mind remained "sound", according to her son. The day she went missing, her son returned home from his foreman job at 3:30 pm, and found the house empty with the lights off. Joyce's purse and wallet remained left behind in her bedroom, everything was in place, and there were no signs of a robbery. Police tracked Joyce's scent out the front door which she never used, and to the corner of the block. However, she went missing on a "rain-soaked" and "dreary" day and it's possible the bad weather could've washed away any more of her scent outside. Since the death of her husband who died unexpectedly in his sleep, and her two other sons who died together in a 1982 boating accident, Joyce's immediate family consisted of her remaining child Tom, who was unmarried and childless at the time of his mother's disappearance. If she had other family out of the area is unknown. She does have a beach house in Annapolis, Maryland, but had not visited there after she went missing. She was 75 when she disappeared, standing between 5'4-5'5 and 110 pounds. Due to her cancer, she wore a colostomy bag and was on several medications that she can't go long without. Fliers with Joyce's information went out, woods were searched, local bus drivers were notified and questioned if they had seen her, and hospitals had been checked. A helicopter flew over the city at night with a heat-detecting device. No sight of her was ever found. She had brown eyes and white hair and was last seen in a sweatshirt and slacks. She enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, and reading. Police don't suspect foul play and Tom isn't considered a suspect (neither is the tenant who was the last to see her), but they aren't sure what could've happened.

Maebell Dawson - disappeared January 3rd, 1998 from Jefferson Township, Ohio
68 year old Maebell Dawson had lived in a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of the Martin Luther Manor Living Center on Liscum Drive for about a year when she went missing. Maebell was divorced, had two daughters, and had retired from a hospital housekeeping job two years prior. Maebell was close to her family, and when calls to reach her went unanswered for two days, by January 5th, her residence was checked. Nothing in the second-story apartment was missing or out of place. Her winter coat was draped over a chair, her wallet, credit cards, cash, and a check for rent dated 1/8/98 were all found in her purse on the table. Her bank account was never accessed again. There were no signs of forced entry, a struggle or robbery inside the apartment. LE does not believe Maebell was attacked from her apartment or lured from the premises, but they do believe foul play was involved. According to CharleyProject, suicide "has not been ruled out but has been deemed unlikely". In 1998, Maebell was between 5'4 - 5'6 and 180 pounds. She had brown eyes and gray hair, wore glasses, and was last seen in a tan jogging suit. She was last seen entering her apartment at 9:30 pm on January 3rd. Five and a half years after her disappearance, Maebell was declared legally dead.

Norma Mae Maynard - disappeared February 3rd, 1979 from Boone, Iowa.
Norma Mae Maynard went missing in early February of 1979, just two weeks after the unexpected death of her husband, Carl, on January 19th. Norma and Carl had been married for three decades and Norma was deeply grieving the loss. Norma lived with her 30 year old son, and he was the last to see his mother. He stated that shortly before noon on February 2nd, he found a note from his 61 year old mother that stated she was on her way to Los Angeles, not to look for her, and that she'd get in touch again someday. The validity of this note (if seen by LE, if handwritten analysis was performed, etc) is not known. Norma's purse and a few items of clothing were missing, but her checkbook and jewelry were left behind. There was no sign of a break-in at the house. Her husband's pension which she lived off of and her bank account with savings was not touched. Norma was a shy woman who spent most of her time at home and had a regular routine. She didn't drive and her brothers stated that she had never been more than a few miles from her hometown. Her husband's funeral bill was paid for by a check dated four days after she vanished and signed by "Mrs. Carl Maynard". According to Charley Project, "The signature appeared to match Maynard's handwriting, and her son said she had signed a blank check and left it with him to fill in and pay the bill". The validity of this is not known either. A sighting of a woman matching Norma's description was seen by a local Greyhound bus station employee. The woman was boarding a bus bound for Los Angeles. Police are not sure of the accuracy of this sighting and consider it "shaky". Norma didn't drive but she didn't normally travel by bus, and why she allegedly went to Los Angeles is unknown: she had no friends or family there. Norma's son was not considered a suspect in her case, though some members of her family believe he was involved in her disappearance. He has maintained his innocence and has since moved out of state. Norma was 5'3 tall and weight 175 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair. If she was alive today, she'd be 105. I believe someone close to her knows what happened and made up the story about her leaving for California. My second theory would be suicide, and she made up the California story so her family wouldn't worry.

Yu Chin Goodson - disappeared March 25th, 2005 from Russellville, Franklin County, Alabama.
Yu Chin Goodson is one of the youngest on my list, and at 57, I wouldn't classify her as elderly, but she is an older woman with a lot of mental and physical issues, who went missing under mysterious circumstances like these other women. Yu Chin is an Asian woman suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, diabetes, and a heart problem which required daily medication. In 2005, she was living in group home for patients with mental disabilities in Russellville, Alabama. On March 25th, 2005, a witness claimed to see Yu Chin enter a small, older grey or silver car with a loud muffler. The car was headed toward the Decatur, Alabama area, which is where her son lives. Staff at the group home were informed that Yu Chin was gone, and within 15 minutes of her disappearance, the police were notified and a search for Yu Chin began. No trace of her was ever found. Her son, who lives in the Decatur area, was never contacted by his mother. There has been no mention of foul play, and authorities believe she could currently be homeless and living in shelters. At the time of this write up, she has been missing for almost twenty years and would be around 75 if still alive.

Barbara B. Blount - disappeared May 2nd, 2008 from Holden, Louisiana
Barbara B. Blount was a 58 year old widow who lived on the same road as her children, kept in regular contact with her family and friends, and was active in her local church. It came as a surprise one morning when her nephew came over to visit her residence in rural Livingston Parish, Louisiana, and Barbara was nowhere to be found. A neighbor had just spoken to her over the phone, and Barbara had said she was cleaning out her kitchen cabinets. By the time her nephew had arrived for a visit, the front door was wide open, Barbara's phone was lying on the floor with the battery pulled out, her car was gone, and Barbara was missing. Besides for the unusual circumstances in the home, police didn't find any proof of forced entry. A few hours later in the late afternoon, the silver four door 2006 Toyota Camry Barbara owned was found a quarter of a mile from her home. It was found 25-30 yards off the main road and out of sight, hidden by trees. No trace of Barbara was discovered, baffling friends and family who described Barbara as a cautious individual who carried a gun when she went outside to milk the cows and didn't open the door to strangers. Waterways and woods were searched in attempt to find Barbara, but nothing was ever found.

edit: ooof messed up the title.
