So I went to the yarnspirations website to order red heart yarn (due to the way that Walmart jacks the prices so high up online) to order some spring green yarn and a couple other colors (as they weren't in the store). For a couple of days it has declined my purchase because of a "connection error or a high volume of orders", is there another place I could order these for their retail price or is this a common occurrence, I worried that if it keeps declining my card will be froze or something.

I've been trying to make a simple project which has become a pain in the behind. I had gotten 1.5 skeins into this -> 8 hour shawl pattern only to stretch it out and notice that I made two very noticeable errors that I couldn't possibly fix. I was feeling the whole time that this pattern didn't create a wide enough piece for the person I intend to gift it to anyway so I frogged it.
I'm starting over now and I was trying to figure out how many stitches I would need to cast on in order to maintain the stitch pattern as intended while also making it wider. I am completely clueless about knitting math so I just tripled the stitches (135 total instead) and unless I made another error somehow, just doing that changed the stitch pattern.
How do I figure out how to make the object wider while I maintain the look of the original pattern?

 | hi! i‘ve been working on this blanket on and off for a while now and i’m a little worried about knowing when to stop. the pattern gives you one sort of section for the blanket and then tells you to repeat until you get to about 60in. the sections can be divided into 4 stitches to give you a variety of textures (which is so fun btw) but i’m wondering if anyone else has done this blanket, how many times did you repeat the section? from what I can tell it looks like it should be done maybe 5 times but i’m not totally sure. I’ve worked all the way up until where it says “Work 1 row even in pat.” and I have the 20 stitches remaining as the pattern says. When I try following the rest of the pattern like how it’s shown in the notes screenshot, I end up with only 15 stitches not 14.
