Hello! Long story short, I have a Lenovo Legion 5 (15ARH05H) that has 4 USB ports. As of lately, 3 of them stopped reading any device (like mouse, keyboard, flashdrive) but can charge my phone (this makes me sure that is a software problem and the ports are not burned). I have tried all the methods available on the internet, these are:
-uninstalling the devices from Device Manager -disabling them the same way -updateing all kinds of drivers, from Device Manager and with a special program for drivers -using CMD commands to make sure there are no corrupted files in windows -running troubleshooters from CMD -disabling the power saving mod on USB -disabling fast boot -searching through BIOS
None of them worked... I would really appreciate any help. Thank you so much! This means a lot for me.
PS: Is probably a good idea to mention that I have opened the laptop to clean it and change the thermal paste. After turning it back on, the fans started spinning very fast and the computer turned off. The problem was the cooling system that was screwed to tight to the motherboard, so after I solved it, the laptop started working and the USB problem occurred. I had just finished the pavlov complex but did not want to do the wierd pump boss thingy yet. I remeberd that I saw alot of chest full of loot in a sealed room at the beginning of the pavlov complex level but didn't have the code of the lock. So I looked up the code and went back. To my surprise when the elavator did not give me the option to go back and the doors between the water puzzle and the medical labs couldn't be opened (thus the pictures). All my saved files are from the pavlov complex so reloading an older save is nog possible. How do i get to the surface again without beginning a new game? Thanks in advance for helping and sorry if this is a really dumb question. Im playing this on pc with mouse and keyboard, and launched the game via the xbox windows app btw.

I changed jobs close to a year ago, from one WFH job to another. In the previous job, I had some equipment related to the job - a laptop, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. They sent me a box for the laptop (and only the laptop, I could have stuffed the mouse in there I suppose but it was not large enough for the keyboard or monitor) a couple months after I left the company, and I accordingly sent the laptop back as expected. Someone from the company called me to let me know they still wanted the rest of the equipment, and would be sending another box for it.
They haven't done so yet, and haven't responded to my emails or calls. It's been over four months since I last heard from them (which was when they reached out after receiving the laptop back, to let me know they'd be sending another box for the rest), and it's a little annoying - while I'm fine with keeping the equipment permanently, I also would happily send it back to them if they sent me a box for it, since it's theirs - but I'm not willing to just hold on to it for an unknown and unreasonable amount of time for them.
Is there a framework for when this equipment is, for lack of a better word, salvageable? I'm mostly not wanting to put myself in a place of being at any liability if they want something back in the future and it's been damaged or something, plus I'm not running a warehouse here.

i’ve been using krita for a few months now and i love it, however, out of the blue a weird bug came up. i use one of those laptops that fold and turn into a tablet (it’s on windows not a mac) and one day it just stopped picking up the touch screen. it pics up the mouse pad and my bluetooth mouse and the touch screen works fine for literally anything else. anyone have this problem/ know a fix? i rly like krita and don’t wanna change programs if this is fixable. i should be on the most up to date version of krita but i’m not entirely sure how to check that so idk, can’t be more than a few months old at most

I've been looking over the events as they've been coming in and I just keep thinking one thing. That it's time to mourn the Diamond Box. I keep seeing new players ask which Diamond Boxes they should spent their gems on, and the answer is increasingly "they are bad deals".
So I'm mostly going to focus on gated events, because that's typically where I spent my gems. I will mention item cards though.
There are 8 gated events in the next patch. Of those 8, 5 of them have heavy gates placed on Map 3 and Map 3 doesn't award a Diamond Box. So before I get into that too much, I want to mention that I started playing in Oct 2020. Here is the first event I spent gems on.
Dates: 2020-11-12 to 2020-11-16 Type: Clear Skies Diamond Box: One of Steamboat Willie Mickey (35%), Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey (15%), Holiday Pluto (15%), Rose Gold Minnie (15%), Rainbow Mickey (15%), or Vacation Goofy (5%)
Map 4 Requirements (Map 4 Awarded the DIamond Box) : Min Level 1: Vacation Goofy, Rainbow Mickey, Rose Gold Minnie Min Level 2: Holiday Pluto, Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey Min Level 3: Steamboat Willie Mickey
So I'll just note that a new player buying this box has a 35% chance to win access to Map 4 and a second Diamond Box.

So those were some of the events that were around when I started. And people were complaining then that the gates were too hard. Oh sweet summer children.
Anyways, back to modern times.
Opposites Clear Event Diamond Box - Fix-It-Felix (15%), Calhoun (15%), Te Ka (15%), Te Fiti (10%), Rose (10%), Prince Ali (10%), Disguised Jasmine (10%), Wade (10%), Ember (5%)

Isn't that special? Not only is gate 3 heavily gated and awarding nothing of note, but Gate 4 is heavily gated with mostly characters that are NOT in the Diamond Box. So my title elludes to the general difficulty with getting Diamond Boxes, the mismatch of Diamond Boxes to their events and the amount of Diamond Boxes you need to buy to gain access.
I can't pass this event. I don't have any of those Map 4 people. If I did I might be willing to charge Ali or Jasmine for it. But to gamble for a 15% chance to get Rose or Ember just feels like a bad time.

I might actually use gems on one or two of these boxes IF I can max my Series II by then. I won't buy this box with the Abominable Snowman in it. Prison Dog makes me awfully uneasy though. At least Mr. Toad would be new for me.

If you don't already have these emojis you're going to need to get lucky with Pearl Daisy or you're not getting a Diamond Box from this event.
Personally I can probably do this event. I got Amethyst Ursula from the recent Mermaid event and got lucky enough to level her up with the Quest Pass. So that's Map 3. Map 4 I'm hoping the July 4th giveaway will level my Fashion Minnie or Madam Pigota. If not I can hit Wedding Ariel with a single charge to get her to 3. And for the final map I'm just hoping I can blitz through the token quest hard enough to get Platinum Donald by the 5th Map. I'm also hoping I can max that Series II box (running theme here) so I don't pull Belle.

I understand these prizes are great and they want to make it hard to finish the maps.... but why is the first Diamond Box so heavily gated behind TWO crazy gates in each of these events?

This is actually a pretty solid DIamond Box to buy in a vacuum, but because Eeyore isn't in there you can't get past Map 3 with a single Diamond Box purchase. And even if you did you'd still have the second gate to contend with.
I might end up grabbing this box if I have spare gems, but we'll see. My Honey Bee Pooh is 2.5 and my Flower Piglet is 2. So if I buy 2 boxes and don't get Bunny Tigger in either, I can finish the event. We'll see how many gems I have at this point. Most likely I'll just miss out on this event.
So there we go. Five events where the Diamond Boxes don't help you get a Diamond Box because the Diamond Box is poorly matched to the event, the requirements are high and the first Diamond Box is double gated. I could really understand making the final map have high requirements, especially with the caliber of prizes they are offering. But new players just can't make progress anymore. And the Item Card Diamond Boxes are getting more and more mismatched as well.
If you want to know what to buy, the best advice I can tell you these days is "Quest Pass". These esclusives keeping coming back and back and back as requirements. If I had bought every Quest Pass I'd have no trouble with rhe Favorites Photo Hunt (Ursula would be level 3), the Goofy event would be a joke (Santa Goofy + Platinum Donald) and the Rainbow Superstar event (which I didn't discuss here will be easy with Platinum Nemo).
The Diamond Box is dead.

We have a system in SLES 11 (KDE) where users access by a VNC connection and everybody uses the same user, but each connnection is a different session.
We're migrating so SLES 15 (KDE) and trying to achieve the same thing, but when two people connect to the same user, they are seeing the same session (they see the same windows, if one move the mouse it moves in the other one too).
Is there a way to achieve the same behaviour from SLES 11?

November 2021 we had someone move into the 2nd floor from Brooklyn.
A few weeks later the first floor had a german roach. I saw one a few days later.
I used the hot shot roach bait capsules.
I've seen maybe 5 in my apartment in thr last 1.5 years.
I haven't seen any signs besides the occasional egg sac(which wasn't hatched)
We had some dude come in and put some gel in the cabinets and my landlord replaced the fridge of the lady on the 2nd floor bc it was full(he's a cheap idiot)
We also have mice as well.
On the first floor(I'm in the basement) you see them on the counter.
The lady accidentally brought one downstairs when she brought a roll of paper towels down to the laundry room.
Anyway I saw one on Wednesday...killed it...then put that hot shot bait there.
This morning I saw two live ones and a dead one
I killed one and the other away.
My landlord isn't doing anything obviously...we have mice and roaches...I have killed over 50 mice since Thanksgiving with two traps in the ceiling and mouse poop.
I'm assuming I'm seeing more roaches because of the bait but I don't want to attract more to my side of the house.
The kitchen is right above the laundry room...

So it seems that you can finally (seemingly) play the console version of the game with a keyboard and mouse. With an important exception: when you open the crafting/building wheel, there is no way to make a selection. Meaning I can't handcraft or place buildings.
Anyone else having this issue? Otherwise it seems like everything works so it's just frustrating. Thanks guys.

I made another post about this bug before and thought I fixed it by restarting my laptop with all my stuff unplugged, which worked for a bit, then after a while it started doing its thing again. I tried cleaning my laptop of any junk files, updating it and installing any optional driver updates, and even uninstalling and reinstalling my touch pad drivers(I'm not even sure if it was the cause of this) to no avail, it just keeps coming back. I have nothing on my keyboard or mouse and I used the same video as the last post because I'm too lazy to record this shit again(also because this little glitch is making it very hard to do anything with my laptop) so please help.

I'm an elder millennial gamer who does not buy the latest AAA games. On the rare occasion I do play bigger games, it's usually a few years later for example I'm playing at the moment: Hogwarts Legacy, Death Stranding, and Star Wars Fallen Order. It would be nice to have those games run in highish settings.
I am also in grad school and will be doing ML/data science activities on my PC.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
I game on a 1440p 144hz monitor. I plan on upgrading to as high as a refresh rate as I can get for CSGO purposes in the near future.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
Budget is not really an issue, but since I have less and less time to game as I get older I'm trying to get the best system for my use case at the most reasonable price. Could I get a 4090? I guess so, but I know I don't need one for what I do.

My PC stopped working two weeks ago and I decided to design on my iPad and turns out It works great for me.
But there are some things bugging me. In Safari I can’t zoom in and out using my mouse wheel but Figurative allow me to do so. The problem with figurative is that I can’t click the top toolbar, it only works if I touch it.
I was wondering if the problem with safari is because I’m using mechanical keyboard and mouse (?)
I’m thinking to invest more in it by buying Magic keyboard or Logitech Combo Touch because maybe the trackpad on these keyboards would allow me to zoom in and out on figma in Safari.
Anybody has experience designing in iPad with Magic Keyboard ?
