vCenter shows updates available when there are no updates available but only upgrades to new major versions that you do not neccessarily have a licence for. This is by design. They argue, for security and stability's sake they'd show that. But in reality this is just a huge ad-banner once the actual updates are installed.
In fact I'd say this lowers the security because it's always there, if there are installable updates or not. At least my colleagues already give almost 0 fucks about updating something, they surely will click on this every time to see if there are actual updates ready. Super annoying.
Is there a way to disable the notification banner for major release upgrades? (or did i get something wrong and vmware went charity and gives away their newest vcsa for free?)

I've been building a knockoff "IKEA" in my creative world as a way to organize and store all of my build ideas and references, and I'm using banners for decoration parts and cheeky build exploits, but I'm just now realizing that the banners are flapping around too much.
I tried running the basic /data merge entity @ e[type=minecraft:white_banner,limit=1,distance=0..2] {Age:X} but the command error says it doesn't recognize banners as a valid entity.
As far as I'm aware (on 1.19.4) a banner counts as an entity and that hasn't changed. Definitely not a mob, but still an entity. Is there a specific command I need to be using that differs from the standard entity age change command? I'm really hoping I'm not SOL here. I don't want to have to AFK for three IRL days just to get this banner to age properly. Thanks!
EDIT: I already have several commands running on repeating command blocks to kill bat spawns and other silly "quality of life" things so if there's a repeating command I can do to force all entities worldwide to age faster I would be okay with that too.
