What Is Monica About?
The movie has been rated R for its violence and bloody images. It is supposed to be of the genre of Fantasy, Adventure, and Action anime which has a runtime of one hour and 50 minutes. Aniplex America is the studio responsible for the launch in theaters on March 3, 2023.

I came to an interesting realization the other day. I think of everything in real life as its isk value like second nature. For context, I've been playing eve for about 5 years strait (no eve breaks), its sufficient to say I know how to make isk, alot of isk. Just this evening, I was considering buying uber eats, (cause who goes outside when you can play eve right /j ).
I was about to order me some kebbabs. It would have cost me $27 AUD. On one of my spreadsheets I have a calculator that converts one aud to the isk id get per dollar depending on relevant packs. The 3000 plex pack I get 72mil per dollar, with the extractor deal i get about 95mil per dollar. That means that the kebbabs via uber eats cost me 2.565 bil. 2.5 fucking billion isk for some meat that tastes nice and lasts me about 30 minutes.

What does 2.5b get me in Eve? A whole lot more than 30 minutes of pleasure.
For the price of some kebabs (2.5b) I can get:
- A wormhole corporation eviction contract on a small target corporation
- A 5 Man gang of semi bling pirate faction cruisers that my corp mates can come with me on roams with, and maybe die after a couple hours of roaming and getting dank kills
- Between 1.25mil and 833k skillpoints. Thats enough to top off a couple lower level level 5 skills... Or get me like a 3rd of the way to JDC 5.
- I could invest 2.565b into my market trading setup, and make a 100% return in a couple days.
- I could buy 2 astras, chuck them in a rude place in lowsec, and come back in 24 hours to gaurenteed fleet content. I could do that TWICE
- I could buy HALF A YEAR WORTH OF WARDECS via the mechanics (25 wardecc weeks). Probably about half the time period if I were to offer isk in exchange for a wardec on an entity via a group such as blackflag.
- I could pay King Ammarian to produce me a bomb eve rap dissing on some group while making himself look silly (double the pleasure)
- I could buy 85x 30million isk ships. 85 CHeap T1 cruiser setups, or 85 faction destroyers for faction warfare.
- I could buy my homie about half a capital ship.

I’ll set the scene. Pre-COVID tourism in a small town is booming, I, a young male walks from crowded table to table, running drinks, food, orders and doing my best to provide a quality service for the ladies and gentlemen all the less polite names we’d call the more difficult customers.. Working in a small family owned restaurant in the midst of final years of school..
my very attractive female co-worker that in the same class as me gets her some provocative suggestions from some men on table b3, tell’s me she feels uncomfortable and I take over her table… as I walked over they had a look expecting to be kicked out.
Instead I start talking to them with a big smile and crack a few jokes bringing there attention and eyes away from her and I put on the works of charm banter and speedy service, they have more beers relax and enjoy they’re meal.
I continue around at other table and as I clear they’re plate asking how the food and service was.. anyway the night runs late and take over the cashiers job talking with my co-worker behind the bar.
The men come to pay and she turns away finding an excuse not to make eye contact in the glass washer… I compose myself and charge the men, they pay with a big smile as I make small talk with them. They proceed to tell me how excellent my service was, which was more then expected. A few leave The card clears and I say “thankyou I try to treat customers with the respect they deserve, cause you never know if one of them will handling my next meal have a good night” he walks out the door with puzzlers and gets 4 paces and it clicks to him what I said… turns just in time too see meet my stare and the evil chuckle as a result his eye contact…

•Gf’s birthday recently past a couple of days ago. Mid week. I had gotten her nice birthday gifts, things that I knew she’d like and made me think of her. There was definitely thought put into it. I also wished her a Happy Birthday not long after 12 and I made a nice Facebook post. I’m not big on social media but we’ve fought over me not posting in previous years. It’s important to her so I made sure to write a nice post to make her happy. •I’m a full time student in college, and my gf had asked if I could miss a day of school to do something to celebrate her birthday. I had politely turned her down, as originally my exam dates for this semester were supposed to be on the days directly before and after her birthday. I suggested celebrating this coming weekend instead, as in the weekend following her actual birthday. Initially she was very upset and said she was hurt that we weren’t specifically celebrating on her birthday, but we settled on doing something to celebrate this coming Saturday. •Afterwards it turned out that the dates that were posted for my exams were wrong and they were actually last week, but we decided to celebrate this Saturday anyway as she had switched shifts to have the day off •Our dog ended up going in last minute (23rd) for a spay and lumpectomy that had been rescheduled by the vet. The dog currently has two sets of stitches and isn’t able to really do anything or be left alone until the stitches are removed next Wednesday •I turned down seeing close family that were visiting the area from out of town last weekend as my gf wanted to come and didn’t want me going by myself. But she couldn’t as the dog couldn’t be left alone and she had work afterwards. I planned to instead, see family in a few weeks when they’re back in the area. Gf switched shifts so she could also come with me. •Gf woke up on her birthday late in the day(around 3 or 4pm) instantly in a sour mood and took it out on me. I had suggested doing something small but nice for a little celebration before she had to go to work that evening, like going for ice cream. She had no desire to do so. Went into work for 6pm, bar closes 12. She’s usually out by 1-1:30 at the latest, but she said she was going over paperwork with her boss. She wasn’t ready to be picked up until 4am, then came out seemingly half-cut. Told me later that she had half a beer and a draw from her boss’ weed pen. I was upset and voiced that. She apologized after and said she understood because she’d be pissed if I did that. •Gf mentioned going out to a bar this Saturday for beers to celebrate her birthday. I mentioned that the dog still can’t be left alone and that I get that it’s frustrating but if the dog chews or tears the stitches then we could have some serious issues •Gf got really upset. I immediately suggested other dates that we could potentially celebrate, after the dog has her stitches removed. •Gf is saying that the only other day we can possibly do anything, is the day that I had made plans with my family in a couple of weeks. Now she’s telling me I have to choose between either celebrating her birthday or cancelling plans to see my family again. •Gf also claims that I’ve done everything to ruin her birthday or avoid celebrating her or making her feel special at all. She said if I end up seeing my family instead of celebrating her birthday with her now then obviously I don’t give a single shit about her. •She does not acknowledge anything I HAVE done for her.. at all. Instead, she focuses on these imperfections and I receive the entirety of the blame. I’m continuously made to feel inadequate and that nothing I do is ever enough. I’m exhausted and defeated and I don’t even know where to go from here. Any thoughts or opinions would definitely be appreciated!

Street fights can go in crazy unpredictable directions. Knew a kid, at 23, who punched a guy after an argument at a bar over a spilled beer. He KO'd the guy, who fell and hit his head on the curb. Died. Kid did 3 years for involuntary manslaughter. And he got lucky with that sentence.
A lot of it depends on where you are fighting. A fight in high school happens differently than a bar fight which is different from a jumping in the hood.
In real life I often get asked to show people something and I almost never do. There is no one time thing, or even a few time thing, that will aid you in a self-defense/fight scenario. These things need trained into your muscle memory. Movements need to be drilled over and over. They need to be applied in stress tested situations again and again.
The skill gap between untrained and even 6 months of training is huge. I don't recall any video or match of an untrained person beating a trained person.
The style you choose depends on your life style and environment.
High school - Wrestling or judo, but wrestling I think is better. It's easy access, and free. Controlling where the fight takes place is massively important. Takedowns allow you to gentle place someone on the floor, or hit them with the planet and kill them. You have options. Please don't kill them.
If you live in the ghetto, you need to stick and move and consider multiple opponents. Boxing is what I recommend with a footwork heavy style and a solid jab. Against multiple opponents (untrained) you can force them to come at you from one angle (not letting them surround you) and stick and move. Multiple videos of this. If you do it right you can make people trip over each other.
Almost anything else I recommend Brazilian jiujitsu, real catch wrestling, shooto/shoot fighting, or some wrestling. Being able to hold someone down calmly without having to strike them (while still retaining the option), will firmly put the courts/cops/security in your favor. [See Matt Serra vs a drunk in Vegas]. However, if you are in a scenario where there is the possibility of multiple people then grappling is a terrible idea, and I refer to the ghetto section.
Don't fight in bars. Make friends and fuck.

Hi all. I have been wanting to check out some places in OTR before I graduate from UC. However, none of my friends are in the state right now. YOLO so I am going alone. How safe is Main Street for a single woman on a Friday afternoon? I will be taking the bus, on the 17, as well. I want to check out the Macaron Bar and as Coffee Emporium. Thank you!

My husband and I (mid 50s) will be visiting for a couple of days two weeks from now. It will be my fifth time, his first. I will be 8 weeks out from ACL reconstruction surgery, so I should not walk as much as I normally would. 2-3 miles will be fine, and I can handle a flight or two of stairs, but I shouldn't spend too much time on my feet. My surgeon has okayed the trip as long as I avoid Times Square.
My ideas of things to do while sitting down are: see shows, eat food, ride ferries, sit outside listening to music, and sit in a comfortable place having a nice beverage. I would appreciate any advice about doing those things and any other ideas of things to do.
We're coming from the west coast, so we will be sleeping in and staying up late (we normally are up from 6am - 11pm, so what we would consider late is not really very late for a lot of people).
So far this is the itinerary:

Saturday Eat bagels (Liberty Bagels is close) Take the St. George ferry from W 39th to Staten Island. Take the St. George ferry back up to Battery Park, see 9/11 memorial, eat at Eataly Take subway back to hotel Alternate idea: Take St George ferry to Staten Island, then Staten island ferry back to whitehall, then take east river ferry to East 34th. Fit lunch in somewhere. Rest at hotel, or find a nice park or something Eat dinner somewhere, probably in Hell's Kitchen, maybe Tradisyon? 8:00pm Hadestown 11pm more food and drink if needed
Sunday Need to be at the airport by 1:30 (flight leaves at 3:30 but we have brunch reservations at United's "secret" restaurant)

I wasn't dreaming about alcohol in a positive context. I wasn't dreaming about drinking a cold beer on the beach, or being a male model in a hotel bar surrounded by smoking hot chicks. I was just a man, alone, drinking alcohol.
My subconscious apparently now knows how fucking ridiculous that is :)
