2023.06.09 19:08 Lone-flamingo Video of Chanhee eating noodles

Hi! You guys have helped me out really quickly before so I have high hopes here.
I have this memory of a clip or video where the boys (or at least some of them) are eating at a restaurant or something, and Chanhee is eating some very long noodles and just pulls put a pair of scissors and cuts them off.
He might have just been in the background of a clip, I'm not sure.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

2023.06.09 19:07 LockedUnlocked WestJet dollars missing

Hey everyone, recently it came to my attention that my WestJet dollars are gone. Wiped from my account. I got them back in 2021 when my girlfriend and I were supposed to go to Jamaica and we booked through a travel agency but I got Covid so we had to cancel our trip. We were looking at heading out to Edmonton and then I realized there is nothing in our WJD account. I was assured when we cancelled that these dollars would never expire, and now they are gone. Does anyone have any insight to what might be going on?

2023.06.09 19:05 Kirbypopstarpoyo Discrepancy in preferred points statement

Discrepancy in preferred points statement
Anyone else’s sapphire preferred say 1 point per dollar spent for restaurants on the statement??
I discovered today an odd discrepancy I was hoping anyone could shed light on. As we know, the sapphire preferred (and reserve) gets 3x points on dining purchases. For some reason when I checked my statement, my preferred card says 1 point per dollar on restaurants, not 3… Then my travel says 2x points. I would think it would say 3x points or 3 points per dollar for restaurant but it says neither. It isn’t because I haven’t earned points in the restaurant category for that statement as far as I can tell because my husband doesn’t have this problem on his reserve.
On a separate note, I am also curious for those with the reserve: My husband’s reserve card sticks with the language of # points per dollar earned rather than 3x points if that makes sense, but it is consistent (regardless if he actually makes purchases in that area for that statement). Whereas mine says 2x travel points (not 2 points per dollar) and then 1 point per dollar for all other purchases and 1 point per dollar for dining…

2023.06.09 19:03 Nobody_Elegant I need help dealing with a situation at work

I don’t use reddit that much, but i really need the advice right now. I’m 19 years old going into my junior year of college, and i have been working at this restaurant when i am home on breaks. The manager that hired me has recently left, so when I came back for the summer to start working, new management has been already in place. The chef of this restaurant practically runs the entire restaurant because of this, and he is legitimately one of the worst human beings on this entire planet. Each and every day, he singles me out and belittles only me infront of absolutely everyone else who works there, making me feel like crap every time i work there. I am very much liked by everyone else in the restaurant as they literally were so happy and excited when I came home from school to start working, and the chef just sat in there and said absolutely nothing with a stupid look on his face. I went up and gave him a friendly greeting and offered a handshake, in which he reluctantly accepted and just said hello and then immediately walked away. I work as a bartendeserver assistant where i take supplementary orders, run drinks and small plates to tables, clear them and just generally help out the customers with everything that they need. The spot where i work is in the upstairs of the restaurant, where there is no running water so all of the dishes i clear from the tables get placed in bins in a closet off to the side so I don’t have to make hundreds if not more trips downstairs to give them to the dishwashers. Yesterday, the bartender broke some glass so I had to pick it up as fast as possible out of the carpet to avoid it being stepped on by the customers and just generally not being a good look. In doing this I ended up cutting my hand pretty badly so it was hard for me to carry down the heavy bins full of dishes, so i asked if the dishwashers could help me out with that. They did and came upstairs and I watched them grab what I thought was everything out of the closet while i was cleaning up the rest of the space, and didn’t think to double check and see if everything was taken. The chef was unaware of this entire situation because frankly if i told him he would’ve screamed at me and turned it in to my fault, which is something i wasn’t really trying deal with after working for almost 11 hours that day. I finished up cleaning and went home. This morning i got my first text in almost a year from the chef, and it’s just a picture of about 10 wine glasses and a small bucket of silverware that were left behind in the closet. I fear that when i go into work today in 2 hours i am going to get an absolute earful for that and want to go into the situation with a response to hopefully tame that behavior and honestly, not get me fired. Any advice? sorry for the long post btw..

2023.06.09 19:00 Odd-Chipmunk-7039 How much is a basic salary in Zurich?

I would like to know after recently moving to Zurich. What are people earning?
Let’s talk about a basic income? Do we even have a basic income? How much is that before or after tax?
What are people paid on a 100% basic at a restaurant for example?
I work in the e film industry and find hard to negotiate my value coming from an European salary idea outside of Switzerland.

2023.06.09 18:57 Independent-Ad419 I need some advice regarding starting a small business.

I live in Canada. I don't want to start anything coding or app related. I love working with plants and vegetables. I don't want to go through the traditional farming route but I also want to commercially grow food that will give me a good profit at the end of the day.
I have always liked the idea of a tech based greenhouse where I can automate the process of humidity, temperature, environment, moisture control, etc. Being that Canada has most of its land in the cold zone, a self controlled green house seemed like an good alternative in and around places where regular agricultural methods won't be able to be carried out. And we have so much of that kind of land.
The question is with this greenhouse process I know I'll be restricted to a certain amount of crops that I can grow. I was wondering what advice would you have for me where I can do this by growing x and y crops which I can not only supply locally, but I can export as well which would be in high demand.
Obviously there are fast growing crops and then there are these like Wasabi, Saffron, Vanilla, etc that take a lot of time and effort to produce but are highly worth it. And not just North American crops but other crops from around the world such as Jinseng and Ashwagandha which again are also time intensive. So I was thinking of primarily starting off with faster producing crops that will have a high demand and then on the side focusing on the longer time taking herbs and crops.
I was also thinking I could source my products both to market and to restaurants as well.
Then there is the question of capital which I am not too sure of how to acquire since doing it out of pocket in this economy would be quite hectic.
Love to hear what your thoughts are. Thank you.

2023.06.09 18:52 VisualIndication8580 The Kafal Indian/ Nepali restaurant just slaps. 10/10 ~ From an Indian

I’m an Indian born and brought up person staying temporarily in Santa Rosa. Ofcourse I was gonna try Indian places around here!
The Kafal restaurant is one of the best Indian places I’ve been to in US so far. I’ve tried lots of Indian places in New Orleans, Houston, San Francisco and Las Vegas and this one of the best ones!
I’d say it’s little bit pricy but definitely worth a try. Good enough that it reminded me of my home and I couldn’t stop eating lol.
My recommended combination:
  1. Tadka Dal (3 spice level)
  2. Malai kofta (it’s little sweet so balances Dal above)
  3. Eaten with Garlic nan.
I’d love recommendations on places to see around here and eat! side note though, I’m a vegetarian.

2023.06.09 18:48 SunGroundbreaking515 Guy(30m) I'm (25f) dating crossed my boundary not sure what to do next

I (25f) went on a second date with a guy (30m) recently and i'm not sure how to move forward. I recently got out of a LTR a few months ago and i'm starting to date again. I'm not sure what I want right now and I let the guy know that and he told me that he's open to anything I want he just wants to get to know me etc. We went to dinner and he got drunk, but even before that when we walked to our seats he started making sexual comments, which to me is tacky in a restaurant, we didn't even sit yet but i digress. It started out good but eventually he sat next to me, put his arm around my waist asked for a kiss but started sticking his tounge all the way out and kept doing it, i told him to chill and he apologized. My main problem was eventually we went to his car to hang for a bit. I was okay with kissing and some touching but i told him I didn't want him to go inside my clothes, but he kept doing it so I ordered a ride home.
I'm attracted to him, we have some things in common, I like talking to him and certain things we are compataible with in terms of intamacy. The first date he kind of did something I wasn't comfortable with and I told him, this time he asked before doing it which I liked. But is it even worth talking to him about him crossing my boundaries again since it's slightly different and trying to move forward or should i just move on? I feel like if you can't follow them now who's to say you will later?

2023.06.09 18:43 su1eman Is south end really this expensive?

Born and raised in Chicago moving to Boston’s south end for dental school at BU which is in the south end neighborhood near BUMC
I’m deposited and signing on for a lease at a luxury apartment complex 2bed/2bath for 2200 mo and 960sqft total with in unit laundry and gym and stuff like that
I didn’t need all those amnesties but at 4400 total rent it was basically the same price as literally everything else with worse amnenties
It’s either that or I basically live in a 2bed2bath with a converted living room. The converted living room space is actually bigger than the luxury apartment space and will run me 1300 month and I live with classmates.
I currently live in a high rise 2bed/2bath in downtown Chicago for 1500 a month so honestly this stuff is just bonkers to me
I guess all I’m trying to ask really is 1) is the 2bed/bath worth it for the price I’m paying and 2) is the living room worth it for 1k less overall?
Thanks!!
