2023.06.07 22:03 LeftOn4ya r/MintMobile is joining the June 12th-14th blackout and will be unavailable in protest of Reddit's API changes essentially killing 3rd party apps.

I'm sure that many of you are aware by now that July 1 Reddit is imposing a change to API pricing that due to exceedingly high costs will pretty much kill all 3rd party apps - this is intentional by Reddit to kill apps so more people use Reddit's app so they can make $ from ads and selling customer data. One example is Apollo, one of the most popular third party apps, but also affects others (Relay, Reddit is Fun, Baconreader, Narwhal, etc.) as well as custom apps that moderators use to automate many tasks. All of the apps have announced they'll be shutting down if this doesn't change. You can read more about this here. This would also make moderation impossible on larger or more SPAM/toll prone subs that use 3rd party tools to manage, which would effectively make most the largest subs (500k plus) unusable and might close for good.
All of the subreddits participating, large and small, are trying to stop that from happening. As such, around midnight EST on the 12th, this subreddit will go private in protest. It will be inaccessible to everyone. We will bring it back from private around midnight EST on the 14th. We understand that this is an inconvenience but Reddit admins need to know that their plans to squeeze out the apps out of greed at the cost of making Reddit worse for the people that post and moderate subs for free is unacceptable, and in the end would be bad for Reddit's business similar to how Twitter adding "Twitter Blue" ruined theirs. There is a growing list of subreddits that are participating which you can view here. Thank you for your understanding.
If you need support at that time, please call customer support at 1-800-683-7392, use chat in Mint App or Website Help Center, or open a chat with u/MintMobileAlex and be sure to include your account/order number, telephone number, and explanation of the issue. MintMobileAlex is a shared account for Mint senior customer care representatives, and they usually get back within 3 hours during normal business hours (5am-7pm PST). Note check messages in Reddit's Chat feature which is different from their messaging feature.

2023.06.07 22:02 nagle8589 My second annual 90 man roster analysis, including a list of 40 players I believe are locks to make 53 man roster

A little over a year ago in this forum, I correctly predicted 39 locks to make the 53 man roster out of camp (although I was convinced by a fellow user to remove my 40th player (Sam Eguevoen), who turns out also made the team!). Given my success a year ago with this exercise, I figured it was worth giving it another shot in 2023.
https://www.reddit.com/miamidolphins/comments/ugbujd/i_only_count_14_available_53_man_roster_spots_as/
*Of note, this was prior to the signing of Melvin Ingram on 5/14/22, who would of also been considered a lock upon signing for $3.5 million in guarantees.

I utilize an approach to making these predictions that can be summed up with the old expression, "follow the money". I also use this approach to review players on the roster bubble headed into camp, and then lump them into several neat(ish) categories. Below I will list my roster locks (with brief explanation as needed), review bubble players (think mostly everyone who isn't a high priority UDFA or a inconsequential futures signing), and offer a few musings about the roster construction that I feel warrant further discussion among the fanbase (not Dalvin Cook!!).
Locks (40)
QB: Tua, White, Skylar
RB: Mostert, Wilson Jr., Achane, *Ahmed
FB: Ingold
WR: Hill, Waddle, *Berrios ($3 mill dead cap hit)
TE: Smythe
OT: Armstead, Jackson, *Wynn ($2 mill dead cap)
OG/C: Williams, Hunt, Eichenberg, *Feeney (3.1 mill dead cap hit), Jones
DT: Wilkins, Sieler, Davis
Edge: Philllips, Chubb, Ogbah, AVG
LB: Baker, Long, Riley, *Tindall
CB: X, Ramsey, Kader, Cam Smith
S: Holland, Jones, Elliot
K/P/LS: Sanders, Ferguson
*Ahmed: First off, I firmly believe he played his way into roster safety late last season. He is also still very cheap at his $1.4 cap figure, which was negotiated down from the cost of his right to first refusal tender. It would be pretty bad business to cut Ahmed after convincing him to take a decrease from his tender, thus forgoing his shot at free agency.
*Tindall: Former third rounders in their second camp are mortal locks to make it onto the 53. Patrick Turner was the last Dolphins 3rd round pick to not make it into his second season, for reference. And as I have now reminded myself, even Michael Egnew got a second season here.
*Berrios, Feeney, Wynn: Each of these players were guaranteed enough money on their deals this offseason that it would be a colossal front office failure if they were to be cut after camp.

Roster Bubble (13 spots available)

Too Expensive? (2)
Last year there was a group of 4 role players that I deemed vulnerable to release/trade at this stage, primarily because they were relatively expensive and could be replaced by a cheaper option with virtually no dead cap hit if released. Of the 4 players listed a year ago, two of them were in fact moved before the season, with Adam Butler waived/injured and Adam Shaheen traded and then traded back and put on IR. This year, I only identified one player that fits this specific description:
Keion Crossen $3.155 cap hit, $0 in dead cap hit
-Now, I still believe Crossen is likely going to be here, as he was signed to be a special teams ace, and also showed himself to be serviceable at CB when thrust into duty in 2022. However, at his premium cost for a 5th corneST ace and no guaranteed money, he is absolutely vulnerable to being replaced by a younger player who can replicate his production.
-Another expensive role player that is impossible to lock into a roster spot at this point is Cedric Wilson, though the reasons are pretty much the exact opposite of Crossen. Wilson is going to count $8 million against the cap, and his release would incur a $7 million dead cap. And yet, he might the team's 5th best receiver right now. In fairness to Grier, this is a good problem and a direct result of the unexpected Hill trade.
Trading Wilson has been discussed at ad nauseum in fan circles, but I do want to note, this depth chart makes very little sense with both Wilson and Robbie Chosen on it come week 1. Given Berrios projects as getting a heavy snap count in the slot and also as PR, the team would likely be keeping one of Chosen or Wilson inactive as a 5th receiver. That level of depth is excessive given other need areas, and also potentially blocks Ezukanma's path to playing time. While Wilson being traded would be the ideal scenario for cap purposes, don't discount Chosen being moved instead given his enticing vet minimum salary.

Swing and a miss? (6)
Last year I had another group of players who either had too much in guarantees or enough draft standing to not at least have a strong chance to make the roster. These were guys that if they were released, the team is owning up to a (major or minor) personnel flub, whether it be a failed FA signing (or re-signing), or a whiffed draft pick. Most notably, Trent Sherfield and Solomon Kindley fit this profile a year ago. This year I have identified 6 such players to watch:
Noah Igbinoghene $2.4 mill dead cap
Jake Bailey: $1.1 mill dead cap
Eric Saubert: $850k dead cap
Nik Needham: $750k dead cap
Malik Reed: $750k dead cap
Erik Ezukanma: $545k dead cap
(Outside of EE, the other 4 players profile as veterans with a decent shot to make roster, who still could conceivably be outplayed for their spot).
-Noah has finally reached an amount of owed guaranteed money where it is realistic for Grier to finally cut his losses, although he would still cost them $1.4 mill whether he is here or not. There are number of factors at play here, but there is a scenario in which a combination of other player's health and a resulting numbers game makes Grier grit his teeth and move on.
-Bailey is pretty straight forward, fighting with the young Turk for the punter job.
-Saubert I feel is very likely to make it, though the phins also have tough decisions to make at TE. They are unlikely to have space for 5 tight ends, and thus to keep Saubert they would have to move on from either one of Elijah Higgins/Tanner Conner or cut veteran Tyler Kroft, who costs you nothing to release, but is also cheaper than Saubert and more of an analogue to Durham Smythe.
-Pains me to put Needham off the lock list, but the Achilles tear is so unpredictable. I think there is a decent chance he starts out on PUP and provides depth in back half of season.
-Reed I believe is up against a few undrafted kids, as well as the veteran edge rusher market, as the team needs as much reliable depth at edge rusher as possible and Reed has had a difficult time since he last played for Vic Fangio. Remember, year ago he was traded from Denver to Pittsburgh for a bag of footballs right around the cut down to the 53 man, which is code for he was otherwise going to be cut by Denver at final cuts.
-EE is a classic case of a kid with draft investment goin up against over achievers like River Cracraft and Braylon Sanders.

Veterans in an uphill battle (9)
Then you have your vets who are guaranteed very little money (if any at all), and have enough competition, that they are directly in the line of fire and have an uphill battle to make the team if not for a change in circumstances. These players are all pretty much clinging to their NFL lives at this stage:
Myles Gaskin $0 dead cap
River Cracraft $0 dead cap
Robbie Chosen $125k dead cap
Geron Christian $350k dead cap
Kendall Lamm $200k dead cap
Cedric Ogbuehi $50k dead cap
Tyler Kroft $25k dead cap
Justin Bethel $75k dead cap
Elijah Campbell $0 dead cap

-It is very hard to see Gaskin's pathway to a roster spot. I remain unsure why he re-signed here.
-Cracraft would be the perfect depth wr or practice squad call up if Wilson or Chosen are moved. If not, I don't see how he sticks on 53 and how he gets back on field barring major injuries.
-It was tough to put Chosen on this list given his talent level and with things remaining so up in air. FWIW, I fully believe he makes zero sense to release while signed at the vet minimum. If his head is on straight, he could get us through an extended absence from Tyreek or Waddle, which is not something we can say for any other receiver on roster.
-Christian, Lamm, Ogbuehi, and rookie 7th rounder Ryan Hayes potentially could all be battling for a fourth OT spot, unless Hayes is moved inside to guard. I give Christian the inside track given the highest dead cap and his remaining upside at age 27. Realistically, the fourth tackle may not be on the roster, or they could even keep only 3 OT's given some of the interior guy's versatility.
-Kroft's status was already largely addressed. If Smythe is gonna be the guy, I'd we need another guy who can be a poor man's version. Perhaps Ingold allows for that guy to be a PS guy.
-Bethel I believe is likely to be a victim of a numbers game.
-Don't sleep on Campbell as the fourth safety. He is a survivor.

Young Pups, will they bite? (11)
With any roster, the last few spots are often taken by inexperienced players with cheap contracts and perceived upside, as opposed to low ceiling vets making 1 million+. The following young pups I believe are the most likely to challenge for a 53 man spot:
Taylor Conner
Elijah Higgins
Ryan Hayes
Brandon Pili
Keidron Smith
Aubrey Miller
Mitchell Agude
Trill Williams
Keidron Smith
Verone Mckinley
Bryce Thompson
Michael Turk
-I've thought about Higgins and Conner battling for one spot behind Saubert, as they all aim to replace Gesiki's snaps. It is also hard for me to envision Mcdaniel and Grier giving up on Higgins or Conner so soon, given the investment and hype for both.
-Hayes as a 7th round pick will definitely be given a real chance to make it. The organization has had a lot of success with 7th round picks in the last decade, but also whiffed on the only one they recently used on OL (Larnel Coleman).
-Based on the current roster, 1-2 udfa's are likely to make it on defense, either to fill a ST role or add depth. Look out, however, for veteran signings between now and training camp.
-They are going to keep 10-11 in the secondary. This is the unit I fear most in terms of losing a player to waivers with upside. I also always overestimate how much the league values our players, so take it with a grain of salt. Keidron Smith is here because he has the most guaranteed money of any UDFA, which has been predictive in recent years, as Kader and Robert Jones both garnered hefty UDFA bonuses.

JewelSwap x OneDex Partnership Unlocking the Potential of MultiversX DeFi
Jewelswap has surprised its users with yet another partnership; this time: OneDex. OneDex is a permissionless decentralized AMM based Exchange, featuring Farms, Dual Farms, Staking and more!

Advancing Capital Efficiency: The Groundbreaking Partnership of Jewelswap and OneDex

https://preview.redd.it/okir1f9hjn4b1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=b65a273a2a5bf90ba0cf52300f86b4738c32b4fc
Get ready for the new partnership between JewelSwap, the leading lending and borrowing platform on MultiversX, and OneDex, a groundbreaking permissionless Automated Market Maker Decentralized Exchange.
Through their collaboration, JewelSwap and OneDex aim to expand the MultiversX DeFi Space, taking capital efficiency into account.

Integration of Three OneDex Farms into JewelSwap

JewelSwap has recently integrated three of OneDex’s Farms, namely:
  • ONE/EGLD
  • USDC/USDT
  • LEGLD/EGLD
Users can now choose to deposit either complete LP (liquidity pool) Tokens into JewelSwap or let JewelSwap build the LP Tokens for them.
If you provide only one token, JewelSwap will swap half of it for the other needed half to build the LP Token, then it will build and finally deposit the LP Token into OneDex’s Farms.
“But what is the benefit here? I can do all of that by myself directly on OneDex!”
That is true, however, JewelSwap does something you cannot do by yourself: 24 times per day autocompounding. JewelSwap’s Farm integration will regularly and frequently sell your accumulated rewards to build more LP positions for you to generate the maximum possible yield.
This service comes at no deposit or withdrawal fees and no lock period.
There is a small fee attached to the autocompound service: JewelSwap will collect part of the rewards as platform fees, since they provide the compounding service for you.
  • ONE/EGLD: 15% platform fee
  • USDC/USDT: 10% platform fee
  • LEGLD/EGLD: 10% platform fee
Despite these fees, the APY offered to users is still highly competitive and usually better compared to Farming directly on OneDex without any autocompounding.
OneDex currently offers a boosted APR of up to 300% for their ONE/EGLD Farm. If you autocompound that, you easily get well beyond 1000% APY.
https://preview.redd.it/n7v69xjjjn4b1.png?width=1272&format=png&auto=webp&s=412456d2d12a732b3d1faf95be4ea72f77fa296b
Be aware that APY is not the same as APR and your immediate rewards after 1 day will be essentially the same as if you would have just farmed on OneDex only without any autocompounding.
After OneDex’s special 300% APR offer will end, it will return to its previous APR, however thanks to JewelSwaps autocompounding, the APY will still be quite fantastic after the significant drop in rewards.
It’s all about capital efficiency, and what else screams capital efficiency more than high-frequency autocompounding.
It is astonishing that just a few days after the integration of the ONE/EGLD Farm, more than 40% of the total ONE/EGLD Liquidity on OneDex was already deposited into JewelSwap.
The success of the integration is undeniable and one can only imagine what else this new partnership may bring to the users of OneDex and JewelSwap in the near future.

2023.06.07 22:02 fishfilletcheck Treatment plan after xifaxan?

Finishing my first round of xifaxan tonight. what next steps should I take?
Taking vitamin D, magnesium, and B12 due to vitamin deficiencies caused by H dominant SIBO. Planning on a low FODMAP diet, oregano oil, and a prokinetic for the next month. Any other essentials or suggestions?
Pretty sure I got my SIBO after COVID or another infection and it was exacerbated by poor treatment plans at the start (my PCP put me on PPIs thinking I had high stomach acid) and then stress and poor symptom management. Thanks in advance!

Making Your Next Career Move: Avoiding the Trap of False Actualization
“The least of things with a meaning is worth more in life than the greatest of things without it.” – Carl Jung
The American culture around work and education emphasizes performance over purpose. Instead of encouraging children to welcome their idiosyncrasies and to deeply embrace the things they find innate joy and talent in, we enforce conformity.
Standardized tests, standardized courses, and standardized degrees produce standardized kids who go on to become standardized adults.
Over the course of two decades, a spirited child full of creativity and wonder is gone, replaced by a drone that’s proficient in Excel macros. It’s great for a vibrant economy, yet it comes at the expense of individual expression.
Nonetheless, our childlike spirit remains in us, trapped under layers of societal conditioning that have drawn us so far away from ourselves that we’ve lost touch with our inborn interests and who we once were.
Yet, it pings at us from time to time throughout our young adult lives, and into the depths of our careers. It’s a dull yet persistent sense that something is not quite right.
This is a common outcome for many of our culture’s brightest minds. So many of us struggle to find a greater sense of meaning, fulfillment, or validation in our work. Although it feels like we need to attain more to be satisfied, that’s a conflation of the feeling. The ping from our soul that something isn’t right is the dormant child inside of us asking to be let loose.
So, how do you avoid the trap of successful-yet-not-fulfilled? How do you design a life that activates the needs and desires you had as a child? How can you think through this intentionally before it’s too late?
Using my own career as an example, I’ll walk through a popular model of human needs and describe how to apply it to making more meaningful career decisions. You’ll see how easy it is to fall into the trap of what I call False Actualization.
By the end, you’ll have hopefully gut-checked yourself before making the next move down a potentially incorrect career path.
And, I hope, find your way back to doing something that speaks to your innermost needs.

Maslow and his Hierarchy of Needs

American psychologist Abraham Maslow is responsible for one of the earliest and most contemplated models for understanding human needs: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. It spurred the creation of many other models for meaning since it was first introduced.
There’s something about it that hits home, not only with the clinicians in the world of positive psychology but for the average person seeking a framework to understand their feelings of meaninglessness.
As such, I’m going to use this model as the centerpiece for demonstrating the prior missteps I made with my own career.
First, let’s do a quick refresh of the model. Maslow’s theory attempts to categorize a broad set of human needs and their relative hierarchy to one another and has commonly been visualized as a stacked pyramid (even though Maslow didn’t create such a visualization himself).

  • Physiological. We first need to fulfill our basic physiological needs that account for our species-level survival, such as food, sleep, and sex.
  • Safety. Secondly, we must also feel safe and have conditions that ensure our ongoing safety. This is especially true for children.
  • Love. If both the physiological and safety needs are well met, then love, affection, and belonging needs will emerge.
  • Esteem. People need a stable, firmly-held, high evaluation of themselves and others. First, we desire strength, achievement, adequacy, independence, and freedom. Then, we desire reputation, prestige, recognition, attention, importance, or appreciation.
  • Self-Actualization. Even if all the aforementioned needs are met, some individuals may develop discontent or restlessness about their lives. These individuals need to actualize their unique potential and capabilities.
An essential aspect of Maslow’s theory is that each type of need can occupy a different position in the human psyche at any time. For example, all other needs fade into the background when basic physiological needs are not met, such as a person dying of dehydration or starvation.
On the other hand, when all physiological needs are consistently fulfilled, the need for Love or Esteem can take center stage as physiological needs drift into the background of consciousness.

https://preview.redd.it/2vch2kpxin4b1.png?width=928&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c12aca72e1900e98aaf56e8ef68b844b16d2220
I like to think of the sequence of needs falling into two broad categories: Survive and Thrive. The bottom of the pyramid houses the essentials for an organism to survive. Above those are the needs that lead to a subjective sense of thriving and fulfillment beyond basic survival.
The purpose of this post is to examine the tradeoffs that we make within the zone of thriving as we push deeper into our careers.

Applying Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to Your Career

We can think of our careers relative to Maslow’s hierarchy. As an example, when we begin our careers, many of us are focused on fulfilling our basic Physiological and Safety needs.
When I was 21, I got my first full-time job. It didn’t pay much. I earned $18,000 per year and had $30,000 in student debt. Consequently, survival was a primary need at the forefront of my psyche. I needed to have enough money for rent, food to eat, and enough left over after those needs to slowly chip away at my student loans.
The debt overhang felt like a threat to my safety as an organism so getting my net worth out of negative territory was a fundamental safety need for me. Consequently, that became the primary thrust of my career in its early days.

After 5 years of working hard and squirreling away money, I managed to pay off my debt and establish some career momentum. That translated into a sense of security, which made room for a new set of needs to take center stage in my psyche during the next leg of my career push.
But as my career grew, so too did the demands of the job. In turn, this changed which needs were met, and which were neglected.
I call this the demand dimension.
While some jobs allow the separation of your work and life into two separate realms, others require a near-complete integration of the two, like being the CEO or an early employee of a growing startup. These are demanding positions that typically make it difficult for your life not to be dominated by work.
When I was VP and President at Wealthfront, my Safety and Physiological needs were more than compensated for, and my Esteem needs were met due to the prestige that accompanied the position.
However, my Love and Self-Actualization needs were majorly neglected due to soaring career demands.

After several years of putting Esteem needs above other needs, I was paying the price spiritually and emotionally.
This may look familiar to you: it’s typical for high-achievers entering mid-career. Disproportionately high work demands will come at the expense of your other needs.
As Maslow stated, each need may occupy a different position in your psyche at any point in time. It’s essential to understand this attribute instead of thinking that each need on the ladder of needs is a box to be checked. And, once checked, it is perpetually satisfied.
That is not the case. Rather, the needs in the hierarchy tend to trade off with one another, especially when one need is heavily emphasized versus the others.
Perhaps this is at the heart of why active duty military members have the highest divorce rate of any profession in the country, with a divorce rate twice the national average. Members of the military relinquish many of the freedoms that civilians have and face stressful or traumatizing situations regularly.
These situations place significant stress on their relationships. Love, Esteem, and Self-Actualization needs can fall by the wayside in exchange for serving the country.
For many high-achievers, the need for respect, admiration, and achievement can swoop in and occupy the psyche once physiological and safety needs are met. However, it’s important to anticipate the unintended consequences of a rapid and primary focus on meeting Esteem needs.
I have a very close friend that works in tech who once said, “I have zero desire to become an executive. It looks awful. I’d like to make it to Director level, at most, and stay there for as long as possible.”
I deeply respected this, because it highlighted an approach to a more balanced life. He already felt respected and appreciated at work, and would rather have more space to fulfill his love needs with friends, family, hobbies, and more.
His pyramid probably looks something more like this:

His career demands are still high, but he stops himself short of demands that consume other aspects of his life. As a result, he’s one of the most emotionally stable and fulfilled friends I know in the technology industry.
You, too, can have the same. Unfortunately, within the ultra-competitive tech world, high-achievers are often enticed to keep climbing up and up, only to then fall into disrepair once they realize how many of their other needs beyond Esteem may be neglected.

The Trap of False Actualization

“You'll be told in a hundred ways, some subtle and some not, to keep climbing, and never be satisfied with where you are, who you are, and what you're doing. There are a million ways to sell yourself out, and I guarantee you'll hear about them.” – Bill Waterson, Cartoonist and Creator of Calvin and Hobbes
If you’ve been conditioned over decades to follow linear paths of success, you may be prone to going down a path of achievement that is not your own.
Self-Actualization is not the same as achievement. Achievement is typically defined by external measures and expectations from others.
Self-actualization, on the other hand, is not measured according to the opinions of others. It is becoming your authentic self and realizing the full spectrum of your unique interests and capabilities. The end result of self-actualization may be external success, but that’s an unintended consequence, not the objective.
A child may have natural math ability but not actually enjoy math. Still, their teacher or parents may push them to accelerate further in math simply because they are good at it, or because it’s “necessary for success.”
However, that child may be better off in the long run by pursuing literature and writing if those align with the child’s own subjective view of fulfillment and meaning.
I fell quite easily into the trap of False Actualization, which is defined as the path to success based on others’ expectations of you, but not what you genuinely want for yourself.
I was a straight-A student, went to a great college, built a great career, and made great money.
And then I was miserable. That wasn’t the outcome I expected.
Eventually, I understood why. I had succeeded over and over again at doing things others expected of me, a pattern that had been internalized from a very early age. Truthfully, I didn’t enjoy a lot of the work I did. Still, I suppressed the unhappiness and continued onward.
In colloquial terms, False Actualization means that you’ve climbed to the top of someone else’s ladder.
This happens when smart people in Silicon Valley are hellbent on starting a company because that’s the most prestigious thing one can do. It happens when ladder-climbers are determined to become high-ranking high-paid executives without asking “is this what I truly want?
It’s the continuation of the process of standardizing humans that began early in our lives.
I know about this because I have been one of those ladder climbers. At Wealthfront, I was promoted three times in three years. Had I not had a heart attack scare, I would have been on track to be promoted again to CEO — the fourth time in four years.
This is a high-achiever on auto-pilot. I was on auto-pilot headed toward false actualization. I said yes to each new role because I didn’t want to disappoint others, and the esteem was compelling.
By the end of that long journey, my hierarchy looked like this:

I was held in high regard and proud of myself for what I had accomplished, yet I was emotionally, spiritually, and physically bankrupt.
Because I went through all of this, I discovered that there is a better way of doing things.

Avoid the Path of False Actualization: Find Your Model for Meaning

During a recent trip to Northern Thailand, I met a farmer that was a practicing Buddhist. During our conversation, he said something simple but critically important for anyone searching for meaning.
“Everyone wants to get to Bangkok. The problem is that people try to follow other people’s roads to Bangkok. You must find your own road to Bangkok.”
His catchy metaphor is the antidote to False Actualization. You must spend time carving your own path that provides you with your own internal sense of meaning and fulfillment.
Self-Actualization is the output of finding your own way to Bangkok.
For one person, meaning may come through manual labor that pays the bills enough that their family is well-fed and secure. For another person, meaning may come from ditching the rat race to set out on their own path in life separate from the masses, which is my chosen path. Others derive a great sense of meaning by being part of a once-in-a-generation company doing inspiring work, happy to play a small part in a purpose they wouldn’t be able to fulfill on their own.
The question remains: how do I find my authentic purpose so that I avoid False Actualization?
I’ll share my personal process, which I pulled together from various pieces of spiritual wisdom. It involves the following:
  1. Use Spiritual Autolysis to Examine (and Discard) False Beliefs
  2. Protect the Mind to Avoid Toxic New Beliefs from Entering
  3. Develop a Practice That Provides the Heartbeat for Your Life

Examine (and Discard) False Beliefs

Jed McKenna, the pseudonymous author behind the Spiritual Enlightenment Trilogy, coined the term Spiritual Autolysis. Autolysis in biology means to “digest itself”, so it refers in this context to relentlessly assessing all of your existing beliefs to understand what is true.
Ultimately, this is a process to break down and discard old beliefs that are no longer serving you. As Jed McKenna put it:
"Here's all you need to know to become enlightened: Sit down, shut up, and ask yourself what's true until you know. That's it. That's the whole deal - a complete teaching of enlightenment, a complete practice. If you ever have any questions or problems - no matter what the question or problem is - the answer is always exactly the same: Sit down, shut up, and ask yourself what's true until you know."
Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements also provides a repeatable method for Spiritual Autolysis. I’ve taken the approach laid out in his book and adapted it to this particular challenge:
  • Understand your beliefs and where they came from
  • Practice eliminating those beliefs
  • Practice adopting new beliefs
  • Try your best every day
To kickstart the autolysis of your beliefs regarding work and building a career, start with the following questions. Pick one, sit down, shut up, and whittle it down until you find what is true.
  • What is the purpose of a career?
  • What does “success” mean in a career?
  • How much does money matter to me and what would I use a lot of money for?
  • Should I work until I die, or should I not?
  • What do I think of the concept of work-life balance?
  • What did my teachers often tell me about careers?
  • What messages did my parents give me about a career?
  • What do careers look like in different parts of the world?
  • What have careers looked like at different points in human history?
  • What role does a career play in my overall life fulfillment?
  • How have my friends influenced my career decisions?
  • How have my bosses influenced my career decisions?
When I went through this process, I underestimated the depths of the delusion I was living.
The financial insecurity I felt as an adult had its origin in the financial insecurity I felt as a child in a low-income family that went through bankruptcy. This realization helped me shed false beliefs still present in my adulthood that I needed to make more money in order to be safe and secure.
Examining, and then discarding, this belief set me free from sacrificing my physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being in pursuit of yet another unnecessary paycheck.
I also realized the insanity that is the American ideal around retirement. It was no longer true to me that the American way was the only way to work.
Japanese wisdom has a different approach known as Ikigai, which roughly translates to “a reason for being.” Retirement has no place within this ancient system for living a fulfilling life. Carriers of Japanese heritage understood that our lives are cut short when we have no reason for being.
Instead of destroying ourselves with overwork until the age of 65 so that we can fall purposelessly into the grave, we can instead find work that satisfies our soul and feels delighted to do so until we take our Big Sleep.
These are just a few of the false truths I was able to deprogram myself away from via Spiritual Autolysis.

Protect the Mind to Avoid Toxic Beliefs From Entering

The second step in my method is about preventing fast food information from entering your mind – which is most of the highly processed information you receive each day. Your mind is already full of many harmful beliefs because you were brought up in a world that indoctrinated you with information before you had awareness and a choice.
Whereas Spiritual Autolysis helps break those beliefs down and get rid of them, this next step is about preventing more bad ideas from taking root in your mind.
The first step I recommend is getting rid of all junk sources of information. Or, if you can’t get rid of them entirely, use whatever tools are available to filter out most of the noise.
For me, that meant all non-work social media and cable TV news had to go. Unless I can hear directly from the source, I ignore the information. Once you’ve limited the firehose of junk food information, continue to listen critically to everything that you hear.
There’s a reason I only follow just a few accounts on Twitter. One is an account that posts pictures of dogs, the other is a non-profit that I’m on the board of that helps military veterans, and another is Mike Tyson, who has undergone one of the most beautiful spiritual and emotional transformations in recent history.
I try to ignore everything else because, at best, it’s second-hand information. The vast majority of public information has been rinsed, washed, and processed as much as the American diet. To understand what is true for you, you need to create enough space to listen and observe for yourself. Most of what we consume is the noise that prevents us from accessing that signal.

Develop a Practice That Provides the Heartbeat for Your Life

The life you envision for yourself doesn’t happen because you think hard enough about it. The life you desire unfolds as the result of daily practice.
As the psychotherapist Eric Fromm once said, “The first step to take is to become aware that love is an art, just as living is an art... we must proceed in the same way we have to proceed if we want to learn any other art, say music, painting, carpentry, or the art of medicine or engineering."
I implemented two types of practices in my life. I call them Type 1 and Type 2 Changes.
Type 1 Changes refer to the primary pillars of your life: where you live, the type of work you do, your friendships, romantic relationships, family relationships, diet and exercise, sleep, and any other major affiliations such as a religious practice. These are big rocks where new practices may need to be established.
Type 2 Changes are the small rocks. These are the incidentals that fill out a daily routine, such as the use of a meditation app for a brief morning meditation, fitness trackers to count daily steps, etc.
Most people who are hungry for a change in their life tend to dabble in Type 2 Changes while avoiding Type 1 Changes. This is another big trap.
Type 1 Changes have made the largest and most sustained impact on my sense of peace and fulfillment.
I moved away from a stressful city. I quit a stressful and unfulfilling career. I dropped old friends that were not supportive of my new life direction. I picked up participation in a 12-steps program so that I could be around others that were working hard to transform themselves. And now I’ve shifted my career focus to helping others after stockpiling enough savings from my prior work.
I also use Type 2 tools. I have a habit tracker app that helps me stick to a daily routine to log exercise, sugar, and processed food consumption, morning meditations, nighttime journaling, and pleasure reading.
Both types of change are part of my practice. Some are small, daily patterns. Others are monolithic shifts. The magic is found in the combination of both and you must be willing to combine both types of changes if you want a substantial and lasting shift in your overall sense of well-being.

Make Your Next Move

If you already feel in alignment and fulfilled by your current life, keep it up!
But if you’re nodding along while reading, or feeling the ping that something’s not quite right, it may be time for you to listen inward.
Take the sabbatical you’ve been putting off over and over again. Carve out time in your schedule to do the creative project that you’ve put on the back burner. Stop seeking career advice from others. Talk to people that live very different lives than you do. Travel to parts of the world where making a lot of money and having high-profile careers aren’t part of the cultural lexicon. Don’t stop until you discover your own road to Bangkok.
Charles Bukowski captured the spirit of this best when he said, “Find what you love and let it kill you.”

2023.06.07 22:01 AdidasM361 Trying to Up My T Without Permanently Ruining It

So basically, I am a 24 year old male. I exercise at least 3 times a week, eat a not so unhealthy diet, and get at least 6 hours of sleep a night but usually get 8. I feel pretty tired most of the time, and get the worst brain fog. Recently, I got bloodwork done to see if I had low iron or any other deficiencies and everything turned out to be in normal ranges except my testosterone. I was sitting at about 300 and looking into it that seems pretty low for someone my age. My doctor agreed it was low but said he doesn't prescribe for anything more than 250. Essentially my question for this reddit is what are some ways or stacks that would get that testosterone up without permanently ruining my test levels or destroying my liver? (Added Muscle Growth would be a bonus lol)

2023.06.07 21:59 crunchatizemythighs Intermittent fasting helped repair my hunger cues and binge eating

I've had a very complicated relationship with food my whole life. Especially when dealing with anxiety and depression, smoking lots of weed, etc., I basically didn't know how to stop eating or resisting my urges. It was like I knew what I was doing was bad but I couldn't stop and then I'd go back to feeling like a piece of shit. I was constantly peckish, always looking forward to my next meal or snack, whatever. I knew at the rate I was going, I would eventually be 300 pounds or dead. Luckily it never got that bad but it still got out of control and I ended up hitting 240.
It's hard having an addiction to something everyone needs because most addictions you can just quit. You can't quit food. But thanks to counting calories and intermittent fasting, I've been able to repair my hunger cues, feel full much faster and understand when I truly need to eat versus when I'm just fiending. Just 2 months of this and I've started leaving food for leftovers, turning down treats, and knowing when to stop- something I've struggled with my ENTIRE life.
Intermittent fasting:
Typically I'll eat all my food between 11 AM to 7 PM. Although I'm not too strict with it. Like generally I'll take my last bite around 5 PM. From there, I know I basically just have to wind down and make it to bed and I'll be good. It's been surprisingly easy most days.
SPARKLING WATER has been HUGE in helping me satisfying a craving without consuming calories. I think it's a great tool. I also am a fiend for diet soda and that has helped a lot in my weight loss too, although I understand it's a bit of a polarizing topic.
Most days I skip breakfast for lunch or vice versa. Never been much of a breakfast person, but if I do, I make sure it's just an egg and cheese bagel which clocks in usually only around 410 calories. Still gives me about 1200-1400 calories to work with the rest of the day.
I find dinner is something I just can't skip. It's so important for me to get some calories in the afternoon so that I can make it to bed without feeling cranky. I've noticed though that my portions make me full much faster now. I legit couldn't even eat what I did 2 months ago if I tried, I would probably get sick.
For context, I would easily eat 3000-4000 calories a day no problem without ANY exercise and still be kind of hungry. Now on the off chance I eat 2500 calories in a day, I feel like I'm going to burst. I have NEVER been that guy and it's nice to see.
Counting calories
While fasting is important, counting calories was also instrumental in me being mindful about my eating. Following my hunger cues simply isn't enough as it's important to know what I'm putting in my body before I eat.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend just ripping the bandaid and buying a FOOD SCALE. You hear me? BUY A FOOD SCALE. I have no clue why I put it off for so long. I thought people who used it were being too anal but as someone who cooks a lot of chicken and meats, going off the packaging simply isn't accurate enough. BE THAT PERSON that measures shit. I try to buy foods where the serving size can be gauged easily, but it's not always possible. Food scale was a pretty cheap purchase that helped a lot.
Also buy one of those measuring sets. You can find them for 2-3 bucks at Walmart where it comes with a tablespoon measure and different cup measures. Very helpful for things like mayonnaise or olive oil where the wrong measurement can easily mean an extra 100 calories.
SANDWICHES are a huge part of my diet because there are so many ways to vary it up, counting the calories are very very easy as opposed to something like rices or pastas, and using a panini press has taken it to the next level lol.
All in all, three kitchen appliances have helped a ton and that's been my measuring cups, my food scale and my panini press. Total that's cost me like 30 bucks and it's changed my diet and health completely.

2023.06.07 21:55 EatinSLOCal Splash Café – San Luis Obispo Location - Review

Splash Café – San Luis Obispo Location - Review
Background:
Okay, bear with me on this one. Splash Café is the go-to place for clam chowder in the county, so much so that they’ve been able to expand into supermarkets’ freezer sections with their clam chowder bread bowls and offer their food on Gold Belly. All that being said, because of an incident (that is completely my fault) 15 years ago, it is hard for me to stomach their clam chowder (or Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum) without getting nauseous. But it’s time for me to get over it and return to Splash Café to try their Fish & Chips as well as their SLO only Munchies Menu!
Get Chow'd
Setting:
📍1491 Monterey St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Splash Café’s San Luis Obispo Location is located on Monterey, kitty corner from Famous Frank’s Hot Dogs, next to Petit Soleil. Inside are a food counter and a bakery counter with a fair amount of seating from pseudo booths to high top tables, as well as seating outside in front and to the side of the café. They also have a location in Pismo Beach and you can also buy their clam chowder, hot sauce, spice rubs, and merchandise through their website. They’re open Daily from 8 AM – 3 PM.

Menu/Selection:
The menu is pretty extensive, but let’s start with the Chowder and Chili can be served in their famous bread bowl, a cup, bowl, pint, or quart, and can be topped with seafood, clam, bacon, green onion, and cheese, and paired with a slice or loaf of grilled sourdough. Under the “…And Chips” menu is 6 options – fish, clam strips, calamari, shrimp, chicken strips, and a combo with your choice of 2 of the previously mentioned options. Salads and Wraps have 4 salads – garden, seafood, grilled salmon, or fried chicken, and 3 wraps – Killer Cod, Salmon BLAT, or Cali. Tacos have two topping options – classic (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and avocado ranch) or Baja (aioli slaw, tomato, jalapenos, citrus salsa, and avocado ranch, with 5 meat options – fried fish, grilled salmon, grilled ahi tuna, friend chicken, or tri-tip. You can also get a half or full pound of steamers served with grilled sourdough. Specialty Sandwiches include a lobster roll, Shrimp SLO Boy, Tri-Tip, Cod, and Salmon or Ahi dressed Beach style (Aioli slaw, tomato, onion, caper Dijon, & 1000 Island) or Original (Lettuce, tomato, onion, & caper Dijon). There’s also cheeseburgers, with optional bacon or western styles. For Vegetarians, there is a Veggie Burger, Veggie Sandwich, or Impossible Chik’n Sandwich. Deli Sandwiches – Grilled Cheese, Reuben, Pesto Turkey Club, BLAT, Chicken Sandwich and more. There’s family platters that let you pick proteins. They also have corndogs, chilidogs, and a regular hotdog.
On top of all of that, there’s a Breakfast Menu! From the served all day portion, there’s an egg sandwich, loaded tots, avocado toast, a munchie bowl, oatmeal, and pancakes. Served until 11 AM are bacon, chorizo, vegan, or veggie breakfast burritos, a cheese omelet, French toast, or scrambled eggs. On the Munchie Menu are a selection of Loaded Cheesy Tots – Morning Munchie (eggs, bacon, green onions, and other breakfast fixings), Veg out (Chik’n, avocado, etc.), Train Wreck (their take on chili fries), Get Chow’d (topped with clam chowder and fixings), and Loaded Tots (bacon and sauces). On top of all this, there’s a full case of various baked goods from the Splash Bakery.
Fish & Chips
What I Had:
I had the Fish & Chips as well as the Get Chow’d Loaded Cheesy Tots! The Fish & Chips were 3 pieces of battered and fried cod (I think) paired with curly fries, both seasoned with what I believe is a mixture of Old Bay and Parsley (or at least the ingredients from Old Bay). The fish were kind of classic American fish & chips breading, not too heavy, not light either, but it tasted good. I was a little disappointed in the curly fries, not only were they lukewarm where the fish was hot, the seasoning that’s on the fish didn’t really hit the same on the fries. The tartar sauce was pretty good, seemed standard. The Get Chow’d was cheesy tots with chowder, bacon, green onion, cheese, and according the menu I was supposed to be given a side of Carrot Pepper Hot Sauce, but I did not receive any (that might’ve improved the dish, I love a dash of hot sauce on my chowder. I know it sounds gross… but it also is gross… yet somehow the combination of the chowder, bacon, green onion, and cheesy tots all work together. If I didn’t have my hang-ups about Splash’s chowder, I’m sure I would’ve devoured it faster than I already did.

Would I Have It Again:
Probably not. That is to say, I would rather try other things on the menu and not the chowder that still haunts me. I’d also like to try their SLO Boy and Lobster Rolls and the breakfast items. The Munchie Menu is a cool idea, makes sense for our college town, I just wish Splash was open at a time of day it made sense to have the munchies. The staff is always friendly, and there were plenty of spots to eat even during their lunch rush. So with all of this in mind, Splash Café – San Luis Obispo Location gets an Eatin’ SLOCal Rating of – Give It A Try!

2023.06.07 21:45 highbead I want to eat tuna but the smell makes me gag and the look makes me sick what the hell do I do to stomach it lol?

I just tried tuna in a salad with chicken and sriracha/mayo 2 try to distract myself from the fact that I was eating tuna steak. Even biting and feeling the texture I feel like I'm eating garbage.
It's a cheap food with a lot of protein and I'm trying to diet, its cheaper than chicken and I thought I could use it to add flavour to my salads since that's all I'm eating.
I think I just have a bad experience with the smell in the past so it makes me gag immediately. I know i can get over the ick I just gotta figure a way how. Even looking at it gives me a huge migraine 😩 which is why i think its just a silly mental ick.

2023.06.07 21:42 point_rogue Anyone have some insight into Biotech stocks?

I just recently started to look into biotech companies due to someone close to my family getting diagnosed with cancer… It’s been tough for us because of how close they are to our family but they caught it early and I have hope that it’ll all turn out okay.
I was looking through reddit to see if I could gather some initial info the other day and stumbled upon on INmune, Taysha Gene Therapies and Anixa Biosciences. They all seemed very interesting and gave me a good base of what to be looking for in the market. Does anyone have any potential insights on these or any other companies in the space?
The one that really hit home for me was Anixa because our family friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. They’ve been working on a breast cancer vaccine and even though it’s only in phase I the vaccine has shown positive results already which is encouraging. It seems like they’re continuing trials with women who have had triple-negative breast cancer in the last three years which has a high rate of recurring. Hopefully we can continue to hear some more positive news. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
This is exactly the type of thing that I wish was available to our family friend and anyone else diagnosed with breast cancer so I really hope that more progress can be made in the coming months.
Does anyone have some more insight on this type of tech and the medical space?

Is this the dreaded
My '22 Kona has been ticking for a while. I'm kicking myself for not paying attention when I bought it (new), but after pouring through reddit and online forums, I'm worried I have the "tick of death". Some people say the high pressure injectors are just noisy, but this ticking is pretty loud and without a stethoscope I can't pinpoint it. It's going to the dealer tomorrow... 2023.06.07 21:37 Defiant-Broccoli-323 The consistent dream world

Hi! This is actually my first ever Reddit post!
I have recently discovered AP and been interested in it because of my frequently recurring dreams. I have had these my entire adult life, and can vividly recall them.
Not only can I recall them, but I can recall the 'neighbourhood' I live in and how it always looks in the dream. It is always the same, consistent, yet the details of it are somewhat different to reality.
For example, I frequently find myself walking down my street either to the bus stop, or back home. The houses are mostly the same, but the road is a little different.
I could right now visualize what it looks like to walk down to my local shop, my old school, and many other places. I frequently end up in my high school, and occasionally the sports center that it was attached to. The rooms in the school are, again, the same sort of layout in general, but the details are weird.
Every now and then I am in a couple of places that I do not recognise, but once again they are always consistent, and I can see them vividly in my minds eye right now as I type. One is a shopping mall, and the other a large multistorey car park.
I also sometimes end up on a hill with other people, that seems to be connected to some woodlands.
I have never had a lucid dream. When I am dreaming this stuff, I do not know I am dreaming, but I can totally recall every detail when I wake up. I also could not tell you how often this happens, but I think it's probably a couple of times a week. I actually dislike it, because I think to myself FFS I had that dream again.
Another weird detail is that I do not always encounter other people there. My house, actually my parents house, never has anybody home. I often feel like I am waiting around for somebody to arrive, or, like I say, I have a bus to catch somewhere, which I can only imagine would be my old school bus. If I dream about the school, I am aware of other people being there and do sometimes interact with old teachers or school friends.
The other thing is that I cannot go to certain places. I've never been inside one of my neighbours home, and although I can see inside it, I have never been inside it in a dream, much like in reality. The other neighbours house I have been in, and have dreamed of entering their home before and I can remember the layout and everything vividly.
I occasionally enter old work places, and am almost having to relive doing a shift in a job that I gave up a decade ago.
The time of day varies. I have experienced nighttime and very bleached white sunlight. I can see totally every detail, and it's just like a weird alternate reality I seem to enter sometimes when asleep.
Has anybody ever experienced this on here? My family don't know what I am talking about, but I thought maybe people on here might.
Is it just my brain trying to process some unfinished business or something? Why would I always dream the same things, the same walks, in the same places, and have such vivid recollection of it when most people cannot remember their dreams?
I personally believe that it just dreams, but it's just annoying to dream the same stuff constantly. I want some variety 😕 I have never astral projected or had a lucid dream to my knowledge.

2023.06.07 21:36 Mr_Mee6_Get_Schwifty I was in denial for 10 years

Today I got bad high acid uric blood test and now I have health anxiety. I'm 34, and I got my first gout at 24. And since 10 years I got one or two gout per year. I may suffer from high uric acid since a long time. I try to control my diet (no alcohol, less meat ect.) But this year I got too many gout. I want to know if I need to do some test for my health. I'm not obese 6.2 (1.87) 83kg but I think I have some blood pressure problem. Fatty liver etc. My denial phase is over and now I embrace anxiety. Ps: I taked allopurinol for 3 weeks two month ago but I stop it was too painful and the doc didn't give me colchicine with allo.

2023.06.07 21:34 LadyCastell Marijuana lowered LFT levels

Disclaimer: marijuana is legal in our state. This is not medical advice. This does not begin a patient/nurse relationship.
When my husband and I met 6 years ago, his AST ALT levels sat around 70's/60's with a bumped bilirubin. He's been taking azathioprine for 9 years as immune suppressant. He's been hospitalized multiple times for jaundice, once just last year.
We've been through a lot of personal life hell lately and he can't drink so he decided to start smoking Marijuana. I protested this saying it could very well still harm his liver. He got some high quality weed and said it's either this or a bullet.
He smokes throughout the day for the last 12 months or so. He was terrified at what his AST and ALT levels would be at the first draw since smoking. We were surprised they were in the 50's/40's for the first time ever. They have continued to drop and today his labs read AST 31 and ALT 27. His doctor called to see what the hell he's been doing to get labs like that. We said diet and exercise (not at all true) because he's super traditional.
I'll update this post if his levels ever go back up but the only change he's had in the last year to his body is smoking Marijuana. No diet change, activity change, no medication or supplement change. Just the good ol devils grass.
Just thought I'd share.

2023.06.07 21:32 jochem4208 'Exploiting'

Hey EVE,
I would love to dive back into eve and start trying all sorts of legal exploits with game mechanics. Not the sort of bug abuse or unfair advantage. But just play with the game engine ingame. Create fun scenarios and Win eve ofcourse. Like creating a ship with maximum amount of EHP (for its tier) and go have fun with it.
I'm worried that with low amount of time available maybe like 30 minutes a day eve, especially omega isn't worth it.
Do you guys and girls have any input on ideas if this is feasible or should I try to create more time. I can afford omega tho 20 a month is crazy high. I've one toon with about 40mil sp (it's I think mainly focused on frigates and tengu).
I stopped playing for 3-4 years atleast so it's all bit vague.
-------break line ------
Secondary question, would there still be (if it can be made with CCP approval) interest for like the hacking minigame outside of eve? In let's say a web browser game for phones (and pc) but I imagine it mostly playing while travelling? I've put up this idea looooong ago (it's somewhere far in my Reddit history) 😅
--------break line ------
Main goal is to have fun again, I'm searching a new game after finishing kingdom come deliverance
Every input is welcome 😊 o/
Edit: stupid formatting

  • What is the best natural hair dye?
Determining the "best" natural hair dye can depend on various factors, such as your desired hair color, hair type, and personal preferences. It's essential to note that natural hair dyes generally offer more subtle and temporary color changes compared to conventional dyes. Here are some popular options for natural hair dyes:
  1. Henna: Henna is a plant-based dye that has been used for centuries to color hair. It provides red to auburn shades and can also offer conditioning benefits. However, it's important to use pure henna without additives to avoid potential allergic reactions.
  2. Indigo: Indigo is another natural dye derived from plants, specifically the indigofera tinctoria plant. It can be used in combination with henna to achieve darker shades, including black or dark brown. Indigo is often used in conjunction with henna to create a two-step dyeing process.
  3. Vegetable-Based Dyes: Some companies offer natural hair dyes that utilize vegetable-based ingredients like beetroot, carrot, or other plant extracts. These dyes typically provide subtle color variations and can be a good option for those looking for a temporary change or to enhance their natural hair color.
  4. Logwood: Logwood is a natural dye derived from the heartwood of the logwood tree. It produces dark purplish-blue to black shades and is often used in combination with henna or indigo for desired colors.
It's crucial to keep in mind that natural hair dyes may not provide the same level of color intensity or longevity as chemical-based dyes. Additionally, individual results can vary depending on factors such as hair porosity, starting color, and application technique. It's recommended to perform a patch test and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer when using any hair dye, natural or otherwise. If you are looking for a specific hair color or have specific hair concerns, it's advisable to consult with a professional hair colorist or stylist to find the best natural hair dye option for you.

  • What is 7.0 hair dye?
A hair dye with the shade 7.0 typically refers to a medium blonde hair color. The numbering system used in hair dye shades is known as the International Hair Color Level System, which helps categorize different hair colors based on their lightness or darkness.
In this system, the number before the decimal point represents the level of darkness, ranging from 1 (darkest black) to 10 (palest blonde). The number after the decimal point indicates the tone or undertone of the hair color. In the case of 7.0, it represents a medium level of darkness with a neutral tone.
Therefore, a 7.0 hair dye would give you a medium blonde shade without any specific warm or cool undertones. It's important to keep in mind that the exact result can vary based on factors such as your starting hair color, hair type, and the specific brand or formulation of the hair dye used. If you're considering dyeing your hair with a specific shade, it's always advisable to consult with a professional hairstylist for guidance and to achieve the desired results.
