I've noticed recently when I let off the gas after accelerating the car hiccups and rpms go down back up for a second. Any idea why it's doing this?

Me and a friend both had dreams about visiting an incredibly large McDonald's buildings, with a Subway inside, connected to a big shopping mall and an infinite playplace (has walls, it just has infinite floors and doors that lead to more places). There are a lot of arcades and ballpits. There is a hallway in the main building leading to the bathrooms and a set of stairs, the last one leading to a rooftop you can't access.
Any explanations for shared dreams? Did anyone ever dream anything similar?

I recently bought a Samsung HW-Q990B soundbar. My previous soundbar was a Samsung HW-Q800T. I always connect met PS5 with my soundbar on my Sony X95J. When I played Hogwarts Legacy I could select the 2 extra graphic settings: Balanced and HFR Mode. Now, with the new soundbar the Q990B, I can't select these modes anymore. The new soundbar has better specs and the same passthrough. Does anybody know why this happens?

What's going on?

If you haven't heard about it yet from other subreddits, a recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making many quality-of-life features not implemented in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a possible step towards killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface.
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators (us included) depend on tools only available outside the official app/new reddit to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app.
In the case of /OverwatchUniversity, we will only be going dark for two days, from the 12th to the 14th, as we don't have enough size to be a significant player here. We would normally avoid this kind of thing due to the nature and size of our sub, but unfortunately this issue directly affects this sub and us.
During the dark period, submissions will be turned off, and the sub will be set to private. Things will restore to normal after the 14th, with nothing lost.

What can you personally do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
   
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits.
   
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 14th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
   
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible. The goal isn't a 4chan-esque brigade, instead a simple protest.

Fremantle forward Sebit Kuek believes he can help the Dockers cover for the absence of injured ruckman Sean Darcy.
Forwards Jye Amiss, Josh Treacy, and Luke Jackson have all found form during the club’s four-game winning streak, but a spot in front of goals may become available with Jackson set to spend more time in the ruck due to Darcy’s “moderate” hamstring injury.
The high-leaping Kuek, who was taken out of East Perth in last year’s mid-season draft, said he was ready for the step up to AFL level.
“I can see myself breaking into the team,” he said.
“It’s just opportunity. The boys are going well right now. When it’s my turn, I’ll be up and ready to go.

I'm in the process of setting up a US LLC which will be solely owned by me (Indian national and resident). I have already confirmed that there will be no taxes to be paid to the US govt. even if the company is making profits. Now the question is, if I decide to let the profits accrue in the company bank account (US account) and not bring any of that money into my personal Indian Bank account, what tax implications do I have in India? Or I can remain where i’m now, i could find some chances of helping in a short movie because a friend proposed to be helped, and if everything goes as i want I could be in a crew of another shortmovie but longer; I could ask to be a videomaker at an event in august and i can try to organize my own shortmovie. I know little but some people here, so chances are not impossible. But I should also find a job and in this case it’s unlikely is something in this path, and If i want to work on sets I probably have to try to search a job very elastic.

So i use two monitors and use one to watch Youtube and one to play games on, and since a week or so my game has strong input lag (still high fps) when im watching youtube. The video lags aswell. Whats the problem? My specs shouldnt be the Problem (2070s, i9 9900k, 32 gigs of ram)

I just watched “In a Lonely Place” with Bogart, and it had me thinking that it would make an interesting remake. It’s a bit tricky due to his lead character being violent (likely due to his time in WW2) but it’s set in Hollywood and has a great ending.

Hey folks, had an account there that was online for over a month, had a decent bit of karma on it. Saw an obvious bot account droplinking those terrible cat brushes, so I warned people that OP was a scammer and they should stay away.
Low and behold a day later I can't use my account at all, and every single comment I've ever made has been removed and silenced. I'm not banned outright, but going to reveddit shows I'm definitely shadowbanned.
I'm familiar with the scammer and know for sure they have multiple accounts, but I didn't think they would be capable of banning literally anyone that points them out.
Why is the site set up so that people who aren't admins can game the system like this, but anyone who wants the admins help for helping clean up the website has to wait a week for "we don't see a problem here" style messages.

I (28M) recently started dating my current girlfriend (26F) about two months ago or so, and she’s my first official girlfriend after my previous long term relationship ended about a year ago. I have talked to some girls between now and then, always with the intention of ending up in a long term relationship, but none of them have worked out for various reasons, and my girlfriend is the first girl I felt deeply emotional enough toward and confident about that I knew I had to make it official. And there are so, so many positive qualities that my girlfriend has. Enough that until now I have been able to handle some behavior that I would normally consider red-flag behavior. But it has recently become a bit too much for me, especially since I’ve communicated with her about it and she promised to try to fix some of these issues, but I haven’t felt like she’s really made any progress with them, and I have been stressed out because of it.
She is very controlling, especially with my communication habits. I am a really communicative person, and I’m always open for texting or calling when I can. But I’m not always stuck to my phone. Some of the things she has gotten upset at me for are not letting her know when I go somewhere and do something (like going to the gym, or going shopping outside, or even just going on a long walk around), especially if it deviates from my normal routine. I’ve compromised on this and I’ve told her I don’t mind letting her know when I go to and from the gym (an all male gym, mind you, right down the street).
She’s also gotten upset at me for not answering the phone and calling her back 15 minutes later. I was playing a game and my phone is always set to silent for my own reasons, mostly that it’s not good for my phone to go off at work with the job that I have.
She’s gotten mad at me for accidentally falling asleep before texting goodnight, even though I do that nearly every single night. She also gets upset when I don’t text her good morning as soon as I wake up. This happened this morning, even though I texted her good morning. It was just a little later than usual because I was rushed and not in a great mood this morning. I sent her a very nice good morning text and she was still upset.
She’s also gotten upset at me for seeming “too cold” over text, when I’ve felt like I’ve been texting normally. Recently she got really upset that I take my phone into the bathroom with me, and I really pushed back on this one because I don’t find it to be an issue. But in the end I decided it was better just to leave my phone out when I go.
There’s also the fact that my current two close friends are female (I recently moved countries and this is just the way it’s turned out. I want more close male friends but haven’t met many yet). She is fine with me going over to their houses, at least she said, but she gets really emotional and withdrawn when I’m over there for too long, and once asked me to send pictures to make sure I wasn’t sitting on the couch too close to my friend, which I didn’t do. And bear in mind that I maybe hang out with these friends once a month for a few hours at most.
She’d explained that she had a very long term boyfriend in the past that cheated on her and that this is why she’s this way. Also that she comes from a culture (different from mine) where cheating is super common and it’s more normal to be worried about these things.
It’s just that I have been trying my utmost best to be a good boyfriend these past couple of months because I really want this to work out, but honestly it is excessive and I feel untrusted despite doing nothing wrong, and despite my own efforts to compromise. Is there anything I can do?
