BarGPT Ai Cocktails - Update
Hi all, a few months back I posted about a new cocktail / AI site I was starting for fun called . Today it ‘launches’ on a site called product hunt where it can be upvoted and reviewed. It’s sort of like a popularity contest for websites. As one of the first groups to give me feedback on the site a few months ago I wanted to come back and ask for your support and feedback on Product Hunt today as I value the opinion of this great cocktail group. Thanks!

2023.06.02 10:44 Steak-Desperate How does mouse guard publishing work?

Sorry, I would like to know a little about how Mouse guard releases and releases work. I state that I'm Italian, and here the Mouse Guard comics arrive months late, and it's not even easy to gather information.
I read the first "trilogy" of mouse guard, then I found out about the mouse guard trilogy legends of the guard, but from what I understand it is not written by the same author, and also I also read reviews that are not exactly positive, so I decided to skip it. I later found out about the release of Mouse Guard: The Owlhen Caregiver... but it's only 48 pages, and the description says it contains 3 stories... 3 stories in 48 pages when for example mouse guard: black ax has 216 pages . how does it work?
I don't understand why so few comics in the series come out, and most aren't even written by the original author.
This is not to imply anything, it's pure and simple curiosity. I love the mouse guard trilogy and would like to know more about the world, so I'm a little confused when I find out that a comic has only 48 pages and has to tell 3 stories from scratch.
p.s. on the english amazon it says that there are only 36 pages... how? haha

2023.06.02 10:41 nilslarsenmanager 4 Unraveling the Complexity of Portfolio Management

4 Unraveling the Complexity of Portfolio Management
In addition to Nils Larsen Manager, portfolio management is a multifaceted discipline that involves overseeing investment portfolios, making strategic decisions, and achieving financial objectives. It is a complex and challenging job that requires a deep understanding of financial markets, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate uncertainties. Let's delve into portfolio management's intricacies and why it can be considered a demanding profession.
One core challenge portfolio managers face is the intricate nature of financial markets. Many factors, such as economic indicators, political events, and technological advancements, influence the global economy. Keeping track of these ever-changing dynamics and their impact on investments requires continuous monitoring and analysis. Portfolio managers must interpret vast amounts of data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize portfolio performance.
Another challenge lies in managing risk effectively. Investing inherently involves risks, and portfolio managers need to strike a balance between risk and return. They must implement strategies to diversify portfolios, assess risk levels, and employ risk management techniques. Constant vigilance and a keen eye for identifying potential risks are essential to protect client investments and mitigate potential losses.
Furthermore, portfolio managers must possess strong analytical skills. They must evaluate investment opportunities, conduct thorough research, and perform detailed financial analyses. This involves examining company financials, industry trends, and market conditions. Through their investigation, portfolio managers aim to identify undervalued assets and make sound investment decisions that align with the client's objectives.
Effective communication is another crucial aspect of portfolio management. Portfolio managers must communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights to clients. They must explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely, ensuring clients understand the rationale behind investment decisions. Building solid relationships with clients based on trust and transparency is vital for long-term success.
Moreover, portfolio managers must adapt to changing market conditions and emerging investment opportunities. They need to stay abreast of new technologies, regulations, and trends that can impact investment strategies. Continual learning and professional development are necessary to remain competitive and ensure portfolios are optimized to meet evolving market demands.
Despite the challenges, portfolio management offers its rewards. Successfully navigating the complexities of financial markets and achieving positive results for clients can be highly gratifying. The ability to contribute to clients' economic growth and assist them in reaching their goals provides a sense of accomplishment and purpose.
In conclusion, portfolio management is an intricate and demanding profession. The complexity of financial markets, the need for risk management, analytical skills, effective communication, and adaptability all contribute to the challenges faced by portfolio managers. However, for those passionate about finance, the opportunity to make strategic investment decisions, optimize portfolios, and positively impact clients' financial well-being makes it a fulfilling and rewarding career choice.

2023.06.02 10:41 SOLID_mustard An open plea to make epic BG's not suck anymore

Once hailed as epic warfare and thrilling encounters, the epic BG's in WoW have gradually lost their magic. These once captivating battlegrounds, which used to immerse players with their environments and intense battles have now fallen to a state of decline and rinse-repeat tactics and outcomes, leaving a sour taste in the mouth of any player loading into them.
In my post, I'll try to jump into some of my own reasons behind this decline and the loss of magic and fun that once defined epic BG's.
  1. Imbalanced Gameplay/Snowballing: The big crucial part contributing to the loss of fun I've noticed in epic battlegrounds is the persistence and obvious ignorance regarding imbalanced gameplay. PvP battles should be challenging and competitive, creating an environment where players can showcase their abilities as teams or as a smaller group (Isle of Conquest is a better example for this, ever just camp oil rig all game with the homies and defend it like a badger in its den?). However, due to a various lack of countermeasures, teams will often decide the outcome of an epic BG with the initial zerg clash, making the experience frustrating and unfair for others knowing theirs likely no counterplay, morale is gutted and leavers apparent.
  2. Innovation is Gonezo: Over the years, the battlegrounds have remained largely unchanged, there have been changes, numerous changes over the years in fact - But as an example AV is still a race to the enemy keep, Ashran is still a zerg clash at RoC and Wintergrasp is still a clash at SR, in terms of ends justifying the means - there has been no changes. With no substantial updates or new additions to breathe new life into battlegrounds this stagnation has led to a repetitive and monotonous gameplay experience that fails to excite veteran players and leaves new ones feeling underwhelmed.
Going forward I'd like to see changes in these battlegrounds, aimed at creating more smaller scale objectives that can affect the outcome, like the value of capping mines and killing drek returning to AV - Heck it, add even more content to these battlegrounds to meet these goals. Like the tower captains that run back to base, you could make those an active escort that provides a buff or additional reinforcements for the team when they make it back to Frostwolf/Stormpike keep alive, engaging features that make players feel like they added towards the teams win rather than being a faceless DPS or healer in a sea of impossible-to-make-out names coming together to form a zerg.
There was literally a point in every casual, competitive and semi-competitive PvPers relationship with WoW where they queue'd battlegrounds because they were FUN, no different to coming home from school and jumping into CoD/Tf2 lobbies until bed time.
The egregious state of epic battlegrounds in World of Warcraft showcases a missed opportunity to capitalize on their potential and provide players with an engaging and enjoyable PvP experience. The lack of innovation, imbalanced gameplay, reduced player engagement, and diminished social interaction have collectively stripped these battlegrounds of their magic and fun.
What universe is this where I'm more excited for IoC than AV. Thanks for coming to my TED rant.
P.S Add more crap to honor ranking, post Lvl250 you get something like every 50 honor levels it STINKS.

2023.06.02 10:39 Yieldseeker88 Haru 50% (7 day) EP promo Lockup

I opened up my Haru app this morning and was met with an announcement for an EP lockup with 50% APR. Apparently this is a one time offer.
The rate sounds scarily high. However, the maximum that can be allocated is 0.0011 BTC (about $300) and the term period is only one week. This would mean earnings of about $2.88 for the week.
The rate is of course fantastic, but with the short term and low limit, not really appealing to those with much capital to deploy. It's a loss leader promo tactic designed to get more people on board with a really high headline rate, but low payout in absolute terms.
Anyway, I see nobody is discussing this here. Telegram picked it up and some are doing it using cashback earning credit cards. Might be an idea - if you think it is worth the hassle for the sums involved.

2023.06.02 10:38 simulated_reality0 I feel wife isn’t too attached to me. Am I being sensitive?

Please note, I’d prefer to get replies from people who are already married. Thank you for understanding.
Wife and I got married a couple of months ago. While she is a much better marriage partner than I expected in many aspects, I wish she was more attached to me. For example, we are currently in different countries as I’m an NRI and she is fine not calling everyday whereas I want to call daily. She does make the effort to call once a week at least. We do message each other daily. But I feel like the messages are quite surface level and there isn’t a weight of emotion behind them.
Another example - I wanted to change my social media profile pics to both of us being together. But she told me she didn’t really prefer I do that. She said if I post these pics - when people search me up they would see both of us and be confused and it’s better to post a single pic of oneself. She told me it’s kinda cringe (didn’t use those words but something along those lines). I don’t think it is because I’ve seen a lot of my friends post couple pics as their profile pic. However, my wife has posted heaps of photos and videos of both of us, the marriage, the honeymoon trip etc on Instagram and other social media. She just didn’t like herself or myself posting couple pics as profile pics.
She is fine going through her day without messaging me once. But when we were together, we once had a small fight and I walked out of the house to go for a walk and calm down. When I came back she broke down and said it felt like I was abandoning her and that she has no one else but me and to never leave her.
I tried video calling her about a couple of hours ago but she didn’t pick up. She’s really busy at work and so I knew most likely she wouldn’t be able to pick up. But then I talked to my mother about an hour ago and mum said the wife called her just then. I understand she wasn’t video calling so it would’ve been easier to talk to her. However, the wife could have sent me a message saying that she was busy or that she will call me later?
When we went to honeymoon she said she could tell I didn’t love her as much or was a bit disappointed. While I argued with her about her comments then, she was right. In my heart I did lose some feelings for her and am disappointed because she isn’t as attached to me as I would have liked. She doesn’t obsess over me like my ex.
I understand it’s an arrange marriage and that it might take time for strong emotions to form. Am I being extra sensitive? Am I comparing her to my ex. The ex would call me every single morning, every lunch break, and every night before going to bed. She was quite obsessed with me. Maybe this marriage is what most relationships are like?
And before anyone even asks - I’m not hung up about my ex. But it was the only other relationship I had.

2023.06.02 10:37 Ieatflowers68 Trying to work out next step for neck/shoulder injury.

Hi all,
About a month ago I injured my neck when going up for a header in a football match (soccer, for those across the pond). As I stretched upwards to reach the ball, someone collided into my right shoulder from behind me with force, causing my neck/shoulder to be abruptly and unexpectedly forced forwards and against the upwards momentum that I had from jumping for the header. Side note: The ref of course gave no foul and the game carried on:)
There was a decent level of immediate pain, but I played on for the rest of the match, and for the next day or two the pain wasn't so bad. However, the pain began to increase in intensity and frequency a few days after the initial injury, so much so that even just sitting at my desk was painful enough to warrant the taking of several ibuprofen.
The most painful movements seemed to involve:
- turning my head to the left.
- dropping my right shoulder and tilting my head to the left (a stretch that my physio had showed me about a year before to relieve tightness in my neck and shoulder)
- sleeping on my right shoulder (I typically sleep on my side).
A dull ache also extended from where my neck joined my upper spine, across the upper back and shoulder, and down the upper portion of my arm.
Finally, the muscles in my shouldearm seem less able to harness their power. My right shouldearm seems to only be able to generate about one third to two thirds of the force that my left shouldearm can. Movements where the right arm extends across the body, such as doing a backhand in tennis, are where the right shouldearm is the weakest and can hardly generate any power. Similarly, with overhead press where my left arm can do a full set, my right cannot even lift the weight to the starting position. The biceps and triceps seem to be less badly affected, as I can curl and dip probably two thirds of the weight when compared to my left arm with these muscles/movements.
The good news is that most of the time the neck/shoulder doesn't seem to hurt more during exercise than it does day to day. However, I did hit the gym last night and exercised my back, shoulders and biceps, and I feel like my shoulder is now feeling more painful this morning than it would otherwise be had I not gone to the gym.
I went to see my physio about a week after the initial injury, who gave it a massage and clicked my neck/shoulder a few times. He advised that I could continue with my usual exercise (including lifting weights, playing football and tennis, etc) as normal. He also gave me some stretches to do to relieve the neck and shoulder tightness which had occurred in response to the injury. He said my right shoulder was very tight.
After a few weeks of regular stretching and exercising as normal, the pain seemed to be lessening, in that I was barely having to take any ibuprofen for it. But then last Sunday (about 4 weeks after the initial injury) I played a football match. As the balled was whipped in to the box, I braced myself ready to leap up and header it in. But as I began leaving the ground, someone pushed their hands down into my shoulders/upper back, using me as a launchpad off of which to reach the ball themselves, and so the upwards force of my jump was counteracted by the sudden downwards pressure of their weight on my neck/shoulders.
I heard and felt 3 clicks in my neck/upper back and fell to the floor in quite a bit of pain. No foul was given and I played the rest of the match:)
I haven't been to see the physio since, because this only happened a few days ago, but I'm wondering if the physio is even the best place for me, since I've always regarded physios as being the people to go to for muscle injuries, but to me this has always felt like it's something to do with the upper spine being out of place, and the 3 clicks which I heard when I got the second injury add to that belief. I feel like maybe a chiropractor is what I need, so that they can move some stuff around in my upper spine/neck area. I've felt for a while like my head sits further forward than it used to and that it perhaps needs a professional to force it backwards until it clicks nicely back into place, but I am no expert myself, so I may just be chatting out my arse here.
Anyway, I'm hoping someone here might be able to diagnose what my injury might be, and/or whether it requires any more professional input (be it physio/chiropractor, or someone else), or whether it should get better over time if I continue doing my daily stretches. I'm just worried that even if the pain reduces over time, there may still be some residual weakness or susceptibility in that area, which could cause the injury to reoccur when I go back to playing regular football in two months time, which is why I kind of want a professional to click a few things so that I feel like everything is back in place again and won't just be easily dislodged again the next time I play football.
Thanks to everyone who read to the end, and to anyone who bothers to comment:)

2023.06.02 10:36 glasseyeofficial Eustachian tube issue

About four months I started to notice something weird. This only happens Whenever I do a forceful Vasalva maneuver, my right ear feels like it’s fluttering and farting the air out, instead of the normal “whoosh” sensation. It’s been concerning so I’ve slowed down and barely pop my ears anymore, but it’s still happening to this day. I’m afraid I’m going to blow my ear drum but I suffer from chronic cloggy ears so I’m stumped here. I’ve had Eustachian tube issues before in either ear, especially when sick but this feels different and has been going on for a few months. I don’t have any pain or hearing loss. I’m also diagnosed with Ménière’s disease in my right ear but I don’t think this is related in any way.

2023.06.02 10:35 mangobutter6179 Has anyone done water fast where they don't consume water for 17 hours of the day?

My goal is fat loss, I can afford to lose about 40lb.
I have some religious fasts to do, and want to do water fasting also.
in the religious fast I have to abstain from food and water from dawn to sunset, so for my location currently, that's about 17 hours
I would "break" my religious fast with water.
does anyone know any possible issue that would come from waterfasting like this?
I'm a beginner and not interested in doing extended water fasts, so like maybe 3 days in a row at the most.
is it beneficial to do this, even if i do 1,2, and 3 days of fasting in this way?

2023.06.02 10:35 Feisty_Cattle I wish TransTape worked for me

Before anyone suggests trying it again, I went through two whole rolls (because I thought maybe the reason it didn't work was because I got the 3" one instead of the 5" one), and it still did very little.
I don't have a big chest imo (when I wore bras I was a 32D, now I'm probably a 32DD/E thanks to weight gain), but it's very firm and solid, so it was impossible to flatten to a sufficient degree with tape. I just wish I could bind with tape and be ok with how it looks because tape is so much safer and more comfortable than a binder (if not expensive due to how often you need to buy it). Plus, it's so much more discreet, I wouldn't have to worry about my binder straps showing or the outline of my binder showing through my shirt or anything if I wore tape.
Hopefully when I get on T, my chest will deflate a little and I'll be able to wear TransTape instead of binding. I am pretty damn dysphoric, especially about my chest, so I bind every day for way too long because it feels absolutely horrible to not be binding, even if I'm wearing a compression top. Therefore, any way that I can bind without risking damage to my ribs or lungs would be very welcome.

2023.06.02 10:34 Professional_Bus8425 Best Dental Implant Courses in India

Best Dental Implant Courses in India
Are you a dentist looking to expand your knowledge and skills in dental implants? Or perhaps you’re considering a career change into the field of dentistry and want to specialize in implantology? Look no further as India offers some of the best dental implant courses that cater to both beginners and experienced professionals. From hands-on training to theoretical lectures, these courses provide comprehensive education on different types of dental implants, their benefits, and techniques for successful placement. Read on as we dive deeper into the world of dental implants and explore the top courses available in India.

Types of Dental Implants

They come in different types, each with its own unique characteristics and benefits.
The endosteal implant, which is inserted directly into the jawbone, is the most typical type of dental implant. Usually constructed of titanium, these implants have the shape of little screws or cylinders.. Another type of implant is subperiosteal, which rests on top of the jawbone but under the gum tissue.
Another classification for dental implants is based on their shape — cylindrical, tapered or screw-shaped. Cylindrical implants offer stability due to their even distribution of force while tapered ones mimic natural tooth root shapes more effectively.
There are also zygomatic implants designed specifically for patients with severe bone loss in their upper jaws and mini-implants that work well for smaller teeth such as incisors.
In the end, the choice of implant will rely on the requirements and preferences of each patient. With so many options available today, there’s no reason why anyone should have to live without a confident smile!

Why Get Dental Implants?

The use of dental implants as a tooth replacement method has grown in popularity. Unlike dentures or bridges, dental implants are permanent replacements that mimic the look and feel of natural teeth. But why would someone need dental implants?
Firstly, missing teeth can cause difficulty in chewing and speaking properly. This can lead to malnutrition and social anxiety. Dental implants provide a stable base for replacement teeth, allowing individuals to eat their favorite foods with ease and speak without hesitation.
Secondly, missing teeth can also cause bone loss in the jaw area which may result in changes in facial structure over time. Implants stimulate bone growth by fusing with the jawbone through a process called osseointegration.
Dental implants improve overall oral health as they do not require support from adjacent healthy teeth like traditional bridges do. This means neighboring teeth are preserved for longer periods of time.
Getting dental implants can improve both physical appearance and oral health while providing long-lasting solutions for those suffering from missing teeth.

The Best Dental Implant Courses in India

2023.06.02 10:33 ShreekertheJamisWack Just watched Skill Ups review it kinda has me nervous for the game.

The gyst of his review was that the combat and world and visuals are great but the progression, itemization and loot side of the game is really boring. He made it seem like the only thing that mattered to your characters progression are the aspects and that actual loot drops don’t feel impactful.
This is worrying to me because I don’t care about the story or how well the game plays if it isn’t rewarding to play through or grind at endgame.
Can someone who has actually knows how the endgame progression works comment because the way he painted it made it sound even less replayable than Diablo 3. I really trust his reviews so I might cancel my pre-order if more people start affirming this idea.
How it’s been 10 years since Diablo 3 and they still can’t craft a rewarding progression system is beyond me. all this 200 hours of content doesn’t matter if it’s not rewarding to progress through.

In this article, we will discuss ten essential things to consider before buying an elevator, with valuable tips from Teknix Elevators, one of the leading elevator companies in India, specifically in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Safety Features:
Safety should be the foremost priority when choosing an elevator. Look for residential lifts in Bangalore that comply with international safety standards and regulations. Ensure that the elevator is equipped with features such as emergency stop buttons, interlocks, safety sensors, and fire-rated doors to protect passengers in the event of an emergency.
Space and Capacity:
Evaluate the available space in your building to determine the appropriate size and capacity of the elevator. Consider the number of passengers it needs to accommodate, as well as the size and weight of potential users, including those with disabilities. Teknix Elevators, known for manufacturing the best home elevators in Bangalore, offers customizable options to suit diverse requirements.
Energy Efficiency:
Choose an elevator that is energy-efficient to reduce your carbon footprint and operational costs. Look for elevators equipped with energy-saving technologies such as LED lighting, regenerative drives, and standby mode to conserve energy when not in use.
Maintenance and Service:
Consider the availability of maintenance and service support from the elevator company. Opt for companies like Teknix Elevators, which have a reputation for providing prompt and reliable after-sales service. Regular maintenance is crucial for the smooth operation and longevity of the elevator.
Customization Options:
If you have specific design requirements or preferences, look for elevator manufacturers in Bangalore, like Teknix Elevators, that offer customization options. This allows you to personalize the elevator's aesthetics, cabin finishes, and control panel to match your building's décor and style.
Noise and Vibration:
Elevators should operate smoothly and quietly to ensure a comfortable ride for passengers. Consider elevators that incorporate noise and vibration reduction technologies to minimize disturbances, especially in residential buildings.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards:
If you require an elevator for a building that needs to be accessible to people with disabilities, ensure that the elevator complies with accessibility standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the National Building Code (NBC) of India. These standards govern features like cabin size, button placement, and handrail height.
Reliability and Durability:
Invest in an elevator that is reliable and built to last. Look for reputable elevator companies in Hyderabad and Bangalore known for their quality and durability. Check customer reviews and testimonials to gain insights into the reliability and longevity of their products.
Future Expansion:
Consider the potential need for future expansion or modernization. Choose an elevator system that allows for easy upgrades and integration of advanced technologies. This future-proofing approach ensures that your elevator can adapt to changing needs and technological advancements.
Budget and Cost:
Evaluate your budget and consider the long-term cost implications of owning and maintaining an elevator. While price is a factor, prioritize the overall value and quality of the elevator system rather than solely focusing on upfront costs. A reliable and well-maintained elevator will provide a better return on investment in the long run.
When purchasing an elevator, it is crucial to carefully consider factors such as safety features, space and capacity, energy efficiency, maintenance and service, customization options, noise and vibration reduction, compliance with accessibility standards, reliability and durability, future expansion possibilities, and budget.
