2nd wave rotation, If you hard shove quickly enough on Mid you can recall to buy a blasting wand and return to mid lane as the wave is collapsing/about to collapse, If the enemy does not do the same thing and they are wasting their time poking they have now practically lost the lane unless the jungle babysits them. Obviously, as this is now evolving and more and more people are starting to figure this out it is shifting into a (preserve rune instead of bone plating, hard shoving, and rotating back) this alienates many mid-lane champions that cannot hard shove
2nd Con (super big problem) Jhin / AD champions can do this advantage so extremely that MOST AP champions that are NOT assassins are been completely removed from gameplay because it is impossible for them to scale. (also how brokenly easy the windbrothers have laning phase then can just turn off their brains derp rotate everywhere on the map is beyond obnoxious)

No one cares about top lane right now you are there to support the ADC and the most likely mid ADC to win the game if you choose any scaling champion top you are hard trolling, ideally you want something with hard CC or you are trolling (Chinese players are extremely toxic, but it is also encouraging culturally to be we-chat toxic unlike western (riot games stance) bullying over there is REAL like people bully you super hard it is a big problem (and they have a tribunal to mitigate this issue but does not matter the population is so large, and because players go to internet cafe you can sometimes get alienated if you do not copy/paste what others are doing so incorporation is pretty standard vs individualism -- I digress but basically yeah HARD CC champions top

Pick anything that has extremely fast clear, grave is good, and lee is good rammus is good because adc is good, twitch is good because adc is good, sad to say but yone is very good because his ganking snowball affect (hopefully Yone gets a big nerf this coming patch 56% win rate in multiple lanes with a staggering 49-50% ban rate disgusting)

1st Dragon IF Ice proceed to 5 man fight for it, first dragon is the most important if it is Ice dragon, If it is not Ice dragon 2nd dragon is the most important if the second is ICE then you MUST win it if you lost 1st if however you lose 1st and 2nd is Ice and also lose it most Chinese lobby will proceed to FF because the game becomes too snowball for the enemy side and it no longer is worth it ( this happen to me in 4 games and the game ended in 8minutes) - Herald if first dragon is NOT ice you may then proceed to aquire Herald and give up dragon if the situation is unfavorable but if not dragon is too important because of the stupid Ice potentially appearing as second
------ for those that did not understand why they FF (im sure I will get comments) It is because if your second is Ice and you win it now has two stacks of ability haste by this point most champion have some ability haste and it starts to equal more then 4k gold worth of ability haste in terms of cooldown reduction and dps increase for some champions this doubles their DPS, If you lose Ice first is not the end of the world but you cannot lose anymore dragon or the game will be nearly impossible to win due to the ability haste from additional dragons
------- Times you need to switch mentality by 7minutes the game is now transitioning into mid game almost late game (this is similar to Season 1)
----- Baron -------- If baron is about to spawn and you win a team fight or two enemy players die OR jungle dies FIGHT for the baron the first baron as soon it spawns is SOOOOO WEAK that it dies in 15seconds flat with a team dishing out proper dps (hence why fast clear junglers are favored because of that early baron)

This is LATE game you should be at three items most likely try to pressure the enemy team into a choke hold into their base to finish the game do not aram do not just farm you will start to lose the snowball factor you acquire from the first 8minutes.......
And well that is it this is Chinese HIGH MMR currently (my Chinese account is sitting on immortal 3) (western account is sitting on Diamond II which is pathetic but western players are pretty slow on the uptake and anything below master is frustratingly bad) hopefully people read this and start to expand their horizon goodluck.

Hello, I was wondering if I could play Illaoi as mid champion. I am a mid/jgl main, on occassion I play top lane.I main yasuo, yone, viego, pantheon, swain, aatrox, mordekaiser. The bold champs are my most played in their respectives roles. I'm a newbie to the game and this is my first ranked season.I took an interest in Illaoi after I played her in Aram and she seemed like a really fun tank, although I still can't brush off being wary of her being a really bad champ as people in the channel "skill capped" keep saying that she's the worst champion on the game all the time. If she's viable mid, are there any good guides for her mid or any decent content creators to watch ?

like, i feel bad for bot lane, isnt infinity edge just awfull? and kraken slayer has no true dmg anymore and i as a tank player am happy, but holly fuck why not just nerf it a little
infinity edge feels trash has only damage as a mythic, a fucking mytic in a game where a tank that has 10 times your health can oneshot you doing 100 times your damage
its like they forgot to write more on the item, literally doesnt give anything other than that.
doesnt rage blade do more dmg anyway always while also giving more effects? why not add something like infinity edge can have infinite crit dmg? like killing 1 minion gives a stack ecc like nasus or other stuff
i dont see 1 single reason why i would pick that item if i played adc, not even as jhin. galeforce will do more dmg
and kraken slayer idk how to feel about it too i can just build mr which i will do because 1000 ap champions 1 million burn damage mages ecc so if adc builds it or not it wont change my build like them going true damage
the other items sound very champion specific for non adc champions like yi, or tryan
this feels like frostfire, i have not build that item since hearthsteel came out because of how much worse it is, and when i play adc in aram or autofill i will never play those items for sure, only rageblade but also only on specific champions
shield bow sound too like a non adc buff
now that i think about it infinity edge also fucked yasuo and yone and tryan super hard
i tought adc needed a buff because i always ended up oneshoting them being under their towers
kinda looks like riot is full of top and mid players

It just doesn't punish auto attacking champs; If It dealt way more damage, then champions like yasuo yone tryndamere vayne kogmaw yi belveth... Draven kayle and olaf would actually have to think about dueling a tank before trying to run them down.

Host must be a grown up and a trust worthy male, try using special symbols to be on top.
Rules : Don't ban any player for personal reasons, don't hit turrets or inhib or nexus, don't flame to win or spamm FF, don't spamm pause, don't spawn kill or harass, PVP starts only when minnions starts hitting each other and don't invade the enemy bush until then, don't hack, no .gg's.
Banned Items : Collector, Heartsteel, Shieldbow, Rylai's crystal scepter, Galeforce, Luden's Tempest, Force of Nature, Death's Dance, Prawler's Claw.
Banned Builds : Full Pen Team (Including mythics, Pen shall not exceed 2 items, this counts for everyone if anyone has already built a Black Cleaver, Must be agreed up on within the team).
Banned Runes : Gathering Storm, Grasp of the undying, Conditioning, Bone plating, Overgrowth, Lethal tempo, Legend : Tenacity. (player must link their final rune in the start of the game before minnions spawn time or else they are considered as rule breakers).
Banned champs : Aurelion Sol, Katarina, Senna, AP Shaco (AD build is allowed), Qiyana, Riven, Le blanc, Belveth, Nasus, Veigar, Akali, Pyke, Vayne, Full Crit + Lethality Gangplank (Tank build is allowed), Yumi, Lulu, Nami, Udyr, Volibear, Yasuo, Yone, Darius, Ashkan, Rengar, Ivern, Full AD Master Yi (semi tank build is allowed max 2 AD), OP Twitch (Full AP build is allowed, however King blade and Runaan's Hurricane are banned), ChoGath, Full AP Malphite (Max 2), Full AP Varus (Max 2 items Riftmaker and Nashor's tooth only), Full AD Sion (Max 2), Full Attack speed Garen (Only Stridebreaker is allowed).
Tips : Don't block the hextech gate for your team mates, you can ping your team mates if they forget about not hitting structures (in case there is no rule breakers), Demolish is allowed but you can only use one auto (max 1 player per team must be agreed up on in champ select).
Rules exeptions : Turrets can be destroyed or call for FF vote if a player is breaking any of these rules, girls (not the transgendered ones) are free to pick any of the banned champions on their freewill and they shall not be forced by their team mates to play them or build any specific build or any type of control on them for a win or else it's considered as rule breaking because that's not a girl playing anymore, we know they are lack of skills so for them exeptions can be made.
Extra informations : This mode is not for winning or loosing or any gains exept having fun and we all know that league of legends isn't a fair clean game, but Yasuo and Yone and Shieldbow and bone plating and overgrowth are being banned not because they are OP, it's because they are weak compared to the rest of the items and champions and runes and playing with them will bring a huge disadvantage to the player which results in a bad experience, also Rylai's crystal scepter (ap slow) is banned because frozen mallet doesn't exist, thank you for reading, and let's hope that league gets better one day that we don't have to ban anything from it :)
-Theses rules can only get as it could because the game isn't balanced from the first place so i tried to do the best i can for you, any suggestions are welcome in the comment section.
-The items, champions and runes bans are only available in the current patch (which is 13.9 as written in league).
-Some of these rules shall not be considered in rift map, because somehow for unreal reasons rift and aram doesn't share the same champions balance which makes no sence as always. (only difference between the two are wards and anti wards and bushes reveals it's attacker which makes the unexistance of warding like if it was nothing and also brings non sence for exemple a Darius R hitting unfair one shot damage on one player with full passive stacks resulting in one shotting almost everyone in a team fight due to the passive stacks immediatly from one auto afterwards) which doesn't exist in rift map which leaves tons of question marks to the Devs team.
-As for donations to league and keep it up, hoster or any member can purchase RP.

Bit of a rant here, please brace yourselves.
While i know i might be a bit biased, i genuinely believe that in any given aram match, the team with the most ranged champs wins. No matter what. By ranged champs i mean; marksmen, long-range mages and enchanters.
Now at first i thought this was just random instances or that our team was just worse (skill and knowledge wise). At this given time however, not so much. Looking through my recently played Aram games, and we are talking about a sample size of nearly 200 games that i bothered to scroll for, have almost all been won by the team that can just sit under their turret and spam long range poke/attacks. Like 90% of the games are lost to this.
At this point i feel like im almost trolling by not picking the Ahri when she appears, even though id love to play the Sett and just brawl it out. No amount of snowballs and flashes can ever make up for the fact that you start the game with 50% because the enemy team has a Morgana, Caitlynn, Milio, Lux and Karma. And the one time you see a fun melee champ that you really want to play, so you pick it hoping the enemy team has like a Sion or a Maokai or a Yone or anything that wants to get up-close and personal, just to see 5 champs that can poke you basically in your own fountain at game start...
I know that ranged spells do less damage the further they travel, and i know that its supposed to be All random, but f*** me i want a melee only mode, or bans or for ranged poke to not be so ca****ous to deal with. I do not know the best way to approach this, or if anyone else finds this hard to deal with at all, just thought id rant.

I've always loved the way certain fighting games like Smash Bros and PlayStation All Star Brawl have Classic Mode, where you play the story of the character while simultaneously learning how to play the character--I think you see where I'm going with this.
Simple game stories, or "Classic Modes" that let you play through a given champion's lore while also cleverly being taught that champion's mechanics.
I don't know about you, but I would EASILY drop twenty dollars to unlock a campaign for a champ that I want to learn or that I main. It would be a way for Riot to engage with lore, make new maps, and do all the things that fans have been begging for in a way that actually makes them money.
Plus, imagine how many people will feed on Yasuo vs Yone and then rage-purchase the Yasuo campaign.
Things like this are why competent AI in league is really exciting. If they really develop a framework that makes introducing new AI and editing AI doable, then I think it opens up a lot of possibilities that will give us players a chance to do something that isn't Rift/ARAM.

My point is I want to see the enemy team bans DURING banning phase so we could have 10 unique bans every game and not having Yone or newly released champions like Twitch or Zoe getting banned by the same team. I know this is the same as the PC league, but in wild rift, the strongest champions in the game are always banned. I could go by Gwen, Pyke, Aatrox, Vex, Katarina(please nerf her riot so we cant see her terrorizing ARAM), Akali, Zed, Kayn and Lee Sin(why are they buffing him this patch?). Some are supports like Nautilus and Yuumi.

I main jungle. I main Evelynn. I love assasin playstyle. I can go 20 - 1 at High Gold to Low Platinum.
I like playing Aram. On it, I can also play mostly all champs well. By that I mean, if I deal DPS, I will consistently not get caught, and position rather well unless theres 2+ divers/assasins. if I deal burst damage, I will jump back and forth. If I tank, I will choose engages carefully. The idea is I can play most champs in Aram at a decent level.
Enter Summoner's Rift. Whenever I play lane (other than Supp) the following ensues:
When I try to trade, I get their damage dumped all on me, and I do next to no damage. Or if I know I can get an advantageous trade, they back off until they have cooldowns back up. For the first 3 mins, it looks like I play decent. After that, be it wave management, jungle presence, miscalculation, I am at 30% health, and the enemy is at 60% and it feels like if I try to do anything they'll kill me, which leads me to play passively, which creates CS gaps, level gaps, and me dealing next to no damage even when that's my only role (Talon, Katarina, Yone, Qiyana, Rengar on Top, Twitch on ADC, etc.)
I know that I know how to play the champs, in Aram I get ~solo kills after turrets fall & get away, I can teamfight well (isolate myself) and more. But when it comes to Summoners Rift... I literally become a headless chicken. I know ARAM is more of an even playground, and champs deal/receive dfifferent damage... but the fundamentals of using the champ to deal/avoid damage are there.
So, what gives?

So I guess my request is..what did you guys (specially in midlane) do to not suck at laning.

2023.04.11 12:25 azizilou A bit of a hot take, but I really do believe that melee carries and possibly bruisers are more deserving of tenacity buffs than assassins.
First of all, i'm not suggesting we flat out add tenacity buffs to all the champions who belong to this class like they did to assassins.
But i really do believe some of them REALLY need it. Aram is not a good environment to be a melee champion, hence why most of them are buffed and have access to snowball etc. And it's even worse for squishy melee carries. Range and CC are king in aram, and both are the biggest counter to melee champions with no ability to self peel. Melee carries usually do tend to have a self-peeling ability (yasuo windwall, yone E, nilah E etc...) but it's rarely enough. These champs are usually extremely comp dependant, they would need both the right comp and the enemy to not have that much cc to be able to function, which are both very unlikely scenarios. Hence the need for tenacity buffs. It would at least allow them to not be glorified minions in some games.
The controversial part is for bruisers though. They are probably the single strongest champion class in the game in a vacuum. They are just hampered in aram by being melee and usually being immobile. Hence why most of them are the most buffed class in aram with +%damage dealt and -%damage taken and +%healing or shielding. But wouldn't tenacity make a better substitute for these kinds of buffs that make a champion feel saturated and unkillable in the right circumstances? Udyr was a good start, he's the only non-assassin i know of that has tenacity buffs in aram, and it's working pretty well for him. He might be a bit overturned but that's for other reasons. Why can't darius, riven, camille, renekton get tenacity buffs instead of having 5 lines of aram buffs each? It could be a bad idea balance wise, but it just feels more fun to play, and possibly not as oppressive to play against, which is the point of aram.
I AM NOT saying these champions are weak and need a buff, but they would definitely feel a lot more fun to play, if you actually got to play the game instead of being cc locked the whole time. I would rather actually be able to play the game than do more and take less damage.

Cover Image So now with the new 4.1 changes, especially the new items it's very obvious that this is a buff to tanks.
As a Master-tier player on PC while playing a little wild rift (like 2 games per day) on the side, i immediately went to theorycraft whatever best build is to my most played Tank Junglers, which are Amumu, Rammus, and even though he isn't technically a tank, Singed.
Being the theorycrafter that i am, since the patch released on global this morning, i went straight to the Practice Tool at measured the clear times of various Junglers like Shen, Rammus, Amumu, and Master Yi and more with the new Bami's Cinder component and is now basically Wild Rift's version of the Jungle item as it is too good to not take on almost every jungler in the game except for a select few.
Instead of that, the three new tank items, especially Searing Crown makes a lot more off-meta builds better like Tank Ekko and Tank Master Yi which is something you would be likely to expect in my next few editions of ARAM Shenanigans. For regular tanks, expect to see a lot more plays that you can do as you survive EXTREMEly longer in late-game fights. Tanks now feel like actual tanks if you build right, and that's what we will be discussing today.
A lot of build paths are champion specific but i wanted to do a few so you get the idea on how most tanks have been affected by the new items. So anyways, let's get started.
The image for the various build paths is hyperlinked in the champion name if you don't want any explanations.
---------------------------- Amumu Hugely buffed champ with the new items. Faster clear spead, more damage, and better tankiness, and better build diversity are effects of the new items and changes.
(Start of game)
Your first spawn item should always be Shimmering Spark if you are going either Drain Tank or just regular tank. The reason for this is that it speeds up your 4-5 camp clear by about 5-7 seconds faster than normal, which is a little bit slower than Vi 4 camp but now you can contest Scuttle with a lead vs most junglers giving you level 4 a lot more quickly.
(First Item)
You will use that Shimmering Spark to build Searing Crown. This item is now Amumu's core item, replacing Sunfire as it does more damage early game to camps, but the stats are also better as well making your usual first dragon fight a lot more stronger as you arr more durable and do more damage.
Now you have 3 options, go for Riftmaker for a consistent build that would work on most games or branch off a little bit and go for either Abyssal Mask or Thornmail if you are vs Magic or vs AD and heavy healing champs. All paths we will go through but we will go through the Riftmaker route first.
(General Build - The one you use most games)
Riftmaker second feels good as you have a lot of damage with the passive and the stats. The sustain with the omnivamp is also greatly appreciated as you don't really need to back unless you got Sunfire completed. You won't lack tankiness since you already went an Armor item first and the damage feels really nice when combined with Searing and Sunfire
Sunfire is almost only really built if you go Riftmaker second as Searing does it's job better because of the 150% damage increase vs monsters. Don't get me wrong, this item is still amazing but for it to be justified you need the Riftmaker and you become tanky and deal too much damage like a Bruiser but you simply refuse to die.
The last two items are the same for both builds
(Vs AP - Build if enemy is too magic damage focused)
Abyssal Mask was nerfed for Amumu, but with Searing Crown this is still viable but now is only used if enemies are heavily AP. The passive is still great, the damage when you CC someone with Q or R feels oddly satisfying even though this is technically nerfed for him.
Afterwards, get Force of Nature as it is now a speedy tanking machine with the percentage magic damage reduction, and with the movement speed makes this the best magic resist item in the whole game but it's not good enough to justify building earlier than 3rd item.
Alternatively, if the enemies are a bit more mixed you can opt for an aggresive Dawnshroud for the reveal and damage, and with the dual resists make it feel really good.
The last two items are the same for each variation :).
(Vs Heavy Healing/High AD)
This is a more niche variation but still works really well if you desperately need anti-heal. Thornmail second is the way to go, as it was nerfed for basically only Rammus but buffed for everyone else. The high armor and the HP make this item a worthy second item if you want to go more supportive in your build.
Next you usually go Randuin's as most champs that make you go this route are the wind shitters Yasuo and Yone and Randuin's shut's their whole kit down the drain and let's you 1v1 them easily.
Alternatively, Dawnshroud is also good in this spot, with the exact same explanation as last time.
(Last 2 Items)
4th item you should always go Mantle of the Twelfth Hour for the dual resists and the Lifeline passive synergizing greatly with this build as all the build variations items all give bonus HP, this amount of tankiness makes you a teamfight monster with your passive True damage and sheer tankiness making you very hard to kill once you complete this item.
Amaranth Twinguards is the ideal last item on a lot of tanks, and simply make you, in one word, Unkillable. You literally cannot die once you get this item unless they have a True damage shredder like Vayne, Fiora or Master Yi. Once the passive activates you feel like Alistar with rank 3 Ultimate.
(Boots Choices)
Mercury Treads or Plated Steelcaps with either Rocketbelt or Gargoyles Synergize with this build the best, the extra tankiness with Gargoyle's is also what makes your full build spike much more insane.
(Runes)
The only thing being changed in this department is that Amumu can now use Conqueror very effectively and is probably the main Keystone rune for him at the moment.
Aftershock is now an early game rune for the little guy but it still has it's place when the time calls for it
(AP One-shot Build) This build hasn't been affected by the changes
---------------------------- Rammus Another hugely buffed champ from the changes. Makes everything stronger, but the biggest one is that it makes his Late-Game a mostrous ADC eating beast with the new 30% Armor boosting item.
(Starting Item)
You should always start Shimmering with all tank junglers as it speeds up your clears tremendously. And this item makes Rammus clear decently even without W active with the burn passive. It sets you up for earlier ganks therefore snowballing the rest of the game.
(First Item)
Thornmail as usual, they nerfed this but i did the calculations that it still evens out because of the Bami's Cinder component you can still slot in because the item is 200 gold cheaper than before so first item spike feels the same, if not a little weaker.
(Second Item)
This is where the build branches off a bit. With you having 3 choices: Frostfire Gauntlet, Searing Crown, and Abyssal Mask.
So choose from the list of the items
Frostfire: - Team utility from the slow - Ability Haste - Armor and HP
Searing Crown: - High Damage - Clears Rammus biggest weakness: Clearing in late game. - Armor and HP
Abyssal Mask: - Some damage - Mana i guess - MR and HP - If you have to build this item, why are you even playing Rammus in the first place
(Third Item)
Amaranth Twinguards in ALL games. Is perfect for someone with a huge Armor and MR steroid like Rammus. This along with Thornmail is a Rammus Core item and is probably good enough to go this second but unlike Jak'sho, this one is only very effective after 5 seconds into combat so it is only build after you have a second item where fights lasts longer for you to get full value. Also can make you solo Yi even if he has full build :))))).
(Fourth Item)
Choose from the following:
Mantle of the Twelth Hour - A safe bet in most games but is better as a last item so i delay this as much as possible as you don't have enough HP yet as it feels way better last item than Fourth
Searing Crown - If you didn't already take it.
Randuin's Omen - Is what i use every game as i use this pick as a counter to Crit champs and AS abusers especially.
Death's Dance - The secret DD tech is underrated on him. Makes you a 1v1 god basically.
(Fifth Item)
Mantle of the Twelfth Hour is default on most games.
Guardian Angel if you have shutdowns
And Force of Nature if you get shredded by Wit's End users.
At this point of the game you only really ask for more stats or Movement speed i guess.
(Boots Choices)
Plated Steelcaps or Merc Treads and Gargoyle's every game.
(Runes)
Unchanged from previous patch so Aftershock all the way
---------------------------- Singed Singed Jungle is buffed early game, and buffed last 2 items if you go tank. Viability also goes up as he builds max hp damage items.
(Starting Item)
Shimmering Spark for the clear speed, makes your level 3 cheese gank earlier and better than starting Amp Tome.
(First 3 Items)
These don't change from previous patches, so refer to the image hyperlinked on Singed. I'll explain the addition from the tank build and why you build those, but for the AP it's just standard boring Singed.
(Fourth Item - Tank Build)
Mantle of the Twelfth Hour - Synergizes with the build as this point you have all AP HP items giving your Lifeline passive insane value with it's Slow Resist which Singed is fucking broken with and extra 30 ms which is nuts. All stats Singed wants except AP is in this item.
(Last Item - Tank Build)
Amaranth Twinguards is also giga-broken on Singed, especially with rank 3 Ultimate with it's 80 resists on both types of damage. And this item with Mantle, Singed Ult is bonkers that even Master Yi can't kill him easily with how fast and tanky this mf is.
(Summoner Spell Changes)
You should now go Ghost with Singed Jungle at all times for the lost mobility by Dead Man's + FoN unless you are vs a Jarvan IV.
(Boots Choices)
Still Mercs or Plated, with either Rocketbelt or Righteous Glory depending on the situation.

don't run to meet waves, stay invis by their meeting place. if no one comes to shove, then you can shove
clearing waves in midgame with just autos - auto each melee once, each caster once, then finish off melees. casters die to poison
don't really want to straight up 1v1 sidelane vs enemies. don't want to fight fair. setup shrooms, wait invisible, ambush. need to be cheesing people
never go mid, never aram. go side, draw pressure, draw multiple people and escape/trade.
full blind duration wins you a lot of duels against bruisers. can flash in melee range if have q up and are ahead
you don't want to be teamfighting vs mages, adcs - outrange you. know who your good matchup is in the sidelane and match that person. don't try to fight people that outrange you. can only win if you ambush them - they walk over a shroom and you get invis AS bonus
shrooms to peel teammates in teamfights
you have very high dps when close to full build - you and fed adc can 3 man baron
do you really need ult hunter? at level 16, shrooms have plenty low cd
place a shroom at enemy nexus (not in minion spawn path) so teammate can tp to backdoor
