Minecraft redstone engine

I'm a mid tier Minecraft player, never beat the Ender Dragon, never got Netherrite, and don't know how to do the MLG stuff, but knows how to get the best enchants from villagers, complete raids, basic redstone skills etc.
Yesterday I finally found an Ancient City for the first time and didn't summon the Warden! I found deep dark before and accidentally summoned the Warden, but when I found an actual Ancient City, I didn't!
Got enchanted golden apples, music discs, diamond leggings, enchanted books, all kinds of good stuff.
The items I had on me prior to raiding the Ancient City:
60 blocks of wool
35 torches
20 pieces of steak
2 golden apples
5 golden carrots
and sheers

So to give context. I am planning on upgrading my PC, both graphics card and the CPU. I just don't know which one I should upgrade first. I plan on giving my old hardware to my girlfriend so she can have her own PC.
I typically just game, occasionally I run engineering software and coding (Matlab). She however plans on gaming (Probably Sims and Minecraft honestly, possibly COD). Her major has a lot of picture editing and software from the college that goes with that stuff.

I plan on giving her my GPU for sure. is the ryzen 5 3600 still a relatively decent CPU? I found better for the same or lesser price than what I paid originally but if she can buy a better CPU for her tasks than I'm fine running it until I notice it stuttering or bogging down in speed.
We were also thinking buying a prebuilt PC and installing my GPU in it (the one I have seen in her budget has a GPU that's same year but worse specs than mine). I know the 580 is about 5 years old, its only seen 2 years of use. Would it still be a decent starter GPU? Any opinion on what to do would be greatly appreciated. I just want to talk her into playing civilization VI with me.

What Is Nodenium?

Project Nodenium is a tight-knit community of talented Minecraft players. As a community, we pride ourselves on our member's amazing builds and redstone contraptions. On Nodenium there are no building constraints, land claims, world borders, or anything of the sort. We encourage large scale building and the server is full of farms for many resources. There are lots of shops where you can buy anything you need with our diamond-based economy. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for enthusiastic players who want to dive into the end game without having to worry about the early gear grind. If you enjoy building massive things or really detailed builds but can't find a server that puts in the same effort as you? Then Nodenium is for you!

What does the server run on?

The server is run on the latest version of Fabric 1.19 for maximum performance. The server is hosted on a powerful dedicated server rig. Additionally, we also run a creative testing server that runs mods such as world-edit to make planning and collaborating on builds super streamlined.

Star Trek provides example after example of how, when people have their basic needs met (food via replicators/shelter aboard a ship), they will fervently pursue academic/scientific interests, art, and exploration.
Anyone in the real world who opposes a universal basic income for food and shelter, or insists that it would deter people from working, has never enabled people to actually pursue their true passions.
The motivation to work and be productive is embedded into the vast majority of the human race. Examples exist all around us. Wikipedia, the largest encyclopedic database on the planet, operates almost exclusively on free contributions from passionate people. Look at what people build in Minecraft on their own time. Poke around any game-modding community, and see the time and energy people invest into building/developing things with no expectation of financial profit. Countless other instances can be found throughout history (and contemporary society) of people, with all their basic needs met, pursuing art, tech, and academia. Most people have a gene-deep desire to build, create, investigate, and explore.
Star Trek’s Starfleet continually gets this right: the ships’ engineers constantly work to refine processes to boost efficiency: not for profit or monetary gain, but as a matter of personal pride and satisfaction.
The scientists keep exploring even the most minor astronomical anomalies, the doctors keep studying the most niche biological phenomena, all out of curiosity. They are legitimately interested, and therefore personally invested. They want to deepen their understanding. They want to learn.
The interactions between various alien cultures are anthropologists’ and sociologists’ dreams come true: hence all the diplomatic cross-culture ceremonies and “duck-blind” study scenarios.
These characters are all personally invested in their work, because almost everyone has found the position where they receive personal satisfaction/fulfillment.
You might be thinking “what about the jobs like crate stacking or inventory cataloguing? No one wants to do those jobs in real life.” Oh yes they do. Some people live for it. Organizers come in all forms. Tell me you’ve never met someone who lives to be meticulously organized; or someone obsessed with Tetris; an archivist/librarian who lives to sort things.
“What about garbage collectors? Who’d want to be garbage collectors unless they had to?” Trust me, there are people motivated to keep their community clean. (Additionally, without profit/capitalism/consumerism, aka “waste culture” as the driving force behind most things including manufacturing, waste generation is significantly reduced: most things are built to last/be repaired, or generally recycled. Organic waste is composted, etc. I digress.)
In a galaxy that large, where people are encouraged to pursue their interests (not just relegate those interests to hobbies because “you can’t make a living doing that,”) means you get an incredibly diversified knowledge and resource base within your greater community.
Need an expert in the microscopic harmonic fluctuations of alien cell membranes? There is one a subspace transmission away. Need a specialist on the dietary habits of the yarn people of Nylar 4? They’ll be at the diplomatic brunch tomorrow.
Need a faster ship engine? Someone in a lab has dedicated the past decade to building one, and they’re excited to share.
(These hyper-specific academic/technical pursuits also suggest a greater tolerance/societal value placed on neurodivergence than most modern, socially-oriented capitalistic workspaces as well, but that’s a topic for a whole other post.)
And sure, with basic needs met, you’ll get a small subset of people who don’t want to “work.” Who just “exists”. But, as another point, is there something wrong with someone just enjoying being alive, and being content with that?
Whenever someone (usually older) refers to these hypothetical “unproductive people” as people who’ll just “lay around, playing video games all day,” I want to point out that this is a major fallacy.
Almost all video games are goal-oriented. Most gamers game to accomplish virtual objectives: to win battles, complete quests, rank up. Gaming is entirely objective driven, just like most other pursuits mentioned above: the reason we look down on gaming accomplishments is because “it’s not real,” or “it’s empty/hollow.” But! That’s because we’ve cultivated a societal structure in reality where these “Hollow Pursuits” are the only sense of satisfaction or accomplishment that most people can get, who are often laterally trapped along the professional ladder.
Research has shown that, Given the chance, and the right circumstances, people will direct that objective-oriented energy into something real/consequential in like 95% of cases. The reason “couch-potato” gamers are so common these days is because so many people are unsatisfied with the work/opportunities provided by their jobs/careers, and turn to gaming as alternative suppliers for these feelings of achievement and accomplishment. (Also, gaming allows fantasy/imaginative/alternative pursuits, but that’s another notion.)
“But universal basic income will encourage people to stay home and sleep/drink all day.”
Most healthy people, both ND and NT, find their own purpose to get out of bed each day and get something done. Left open, they’ll find it and chase it. That’s healthy people. Substance addiction and clinical depression are not indicative of healthy people. A more community-and-fulfillment-centric societal structure lends itself to better-developed resources for recovery and treatment. PLUS! Not having to worry about earning basic needs/pay rent to survive while struggling with addiction or emotional issues is a key factor to bettering mental/emotional health, and aids recovery. Studies (with lab animals) have also shown senses of community and support have significantly curbed addictive behaviors that otherwise flourish/metastasize in isolation.
I didn’t expect this post to end up this long. I’m curious to hear thoughts!

Welcome to the Minecart Rapid Transit (MRT) Minecraft Server!
We are a tight-knit community of transit enthusiasts who love to build modern towns and cities, and the transportation networks that connect them together. On the server, you will find everything from rural towns to towering metropolises, grand train stations and expansive airports, and much more. Also on many weekends, you can find our members self-organizing and participating in special events on the server, including sports competitions and game shows.
Our Origins
The MRT was started in 2012 by our owner, Frumple, who originally intended the server to be a short-lived experiment to test his MRT Station v4.1 design, posted on his YouTube channel. The design was a fully-automated minecart station built purely using redstone and vanilla in-game mechanics within Minecraft. With the unexpected popularity of the server and the growth of our community, Frumple designed a version 5.0 of the MRT Station, which is now used to build MRT lines on our current world, known as the New World. While these stations are fully functional and you can ride them to get around, nowadays they are not traveled on very often and they are mainly used as central landmarks for members to build their towns and cities. Our Server
The MRT is a vanilla, greylisted, freebuild creative mode server.

• "Vanilla" means you only need the official Java Edition Minecraft client to connect to our server and you don’t need to install any client-side mods. Please make sure you are using a Minecraft client that matches the current version of our server. You can see the version in the top-left corner of our website.
  
• "Greylisted" means that you can initially join the server as a Guest to explore the cities and ride the MRT lines, but you will not be able to build or modify blocks. To obtain building privileges, you can apply for membership on our How to Join page.
  
• "Freebuild" means unlike some other creative servers, we do not use any sort of plot system and land is generally available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, please note that we do have several rules and restrictions as to what can be built and where, the most notable of which is that you are not allowed to build in another town or within 300 blocks of another town unless you have permission from that town’s mayor.
  

How to Join
Once you have been accepted as a member, you can ask a staff member in-game for access to our private Discord server, and create an account on our wiki and start making edits. You can also start constructing your own buildings, found your own town or even your own company, and work to achieve higher player ranks for additional perks and privileges.

One of the most recent and fastest growing additions is DawnCraft. It is like Skyrim for Minecraft and is fiendishly hard, with 30+ new bosses, hundreds of new structures and a quest line. Oh, there is even a new fighting stance too (Epic Fight), which looks really cool.
If you choose to play DawnCraft, you can't be a wimp. It takes a good pile of determination. Prepare to die (it's easily done and happens a lot) and luck certainly favours the brave!
DawnCraft for us has been popular and we have seen a group of dedicated players on a lot. They've learnt the game and have been helping those who are new. They group up to build bases and take down bosses - and build the occasional bonkers mob farm. We've developed the spawn: we have a subway system to take you out from spawn, a chairlift - for laughs - and numerous bits and pieces to explore, considering it's early version DawnCraft, we're stable and have good pings and TPS.

A big amount of storage would be nice (like 500gb or 1tb) ethernet but if i could have wifi and ethernet I would prefer that, 1080p-1440p gaming with at-least above 60fps for said games with good graphic settings.

No reuse of parts. i do have a asus monitor with a htmi to htmi connector so having a port on the pc is nice.

I’m a civil engineering student that runs at a time multiple chrome tabs, excel files and Spotify in the background. It’s very likely I will be running more intensive programs in the future like 3D cad. I would also like to start gaming games like Minecraft (servers with friends), cod, sons of the forest, and valorant. I’m really digging the display on this model when compared to the g14. All my life, since I've known myself, I've been curious about the things that surround me. My parents did not have the best education, but they always tried to explain the questions I had. When they couldn't, I got used to searching on the Internet.
I played Minecraft, if you don't know, a game about being creative. I loved the redstone aspect of it; I used to challenge myself to come up with new contraptions all the time. It was fun! Because of that, I gained a really good intuition when it comes to logic and math. In school, I became really good at it and achieved straight A's without studying. The teachers were so good; they explained things simply and clearly, and I didn't feel lost or overwhelmed when learning.
Eventually, I discovered that most of the questions I asked my parents were physics questions like "How did the universe start?" or "Is there a limit if we keep dividing a stick?" These are some examples of the kind of questions I wanted to answer.
In high school, I also had very good grades, especially in the subjects I liked. I went beyond the curriculum because I had so much time to learn. I liked to investigate some subjects on my own at home, studying them and asking the professors about them. I enjoyed discussing with my friends, coming to conclusions and interpretations of the meaning of the things we were learning. Everything felt so natural, and learning was fun.
Then came college. I'm currently pursuing a pure physics degree. I thought it would be the best time of my life. I imagined being with professors who are researchers and being able to ask them all my questions. I expected to be with friends who shared the same interests. I was excited. But then... I crashed against a wall: my professors did not teach well, I had no time to think deeply about the things I was learning, and I didn't understand a single thing the professors said in class. To make things even worse, I looked at my friends, and they could understand almost everything so much faster than me. They didn't lose their determination to study, but the atmosphere was not one of cooperation; it was about competition. Friend groups formed based on how good your grades were and how much you studied. I felt left out. I don't study for the sake of having good grades; that's not my motivation. I love to learn for the sake of learning, to explain to my friends who didn't understand at first, to make them understand later. I love asking questions more than having solutions, and when we do have solutions, I love that they are all mind-boggling.
I feel dumb. I feel unmotivated. I've lost all my interest, and I feel lonely. As a result, I cannot pay attention in class because as soon as I don't understand something, my brain gives up. I've started to miss classes because it's not worth it to go. I have to spend 3 hours every day on transportation to come and go to college.
I went to a therapist for help, and yes, it helped me with my anxiety and sadness, but it's not gone yet. Although I don't feel anxious anymore, it's simply because I don't care about it anymore. College seems like a deep hole that leads to hell. It's a place, at least in my experience, where your entire worth is based on your intelligence, which is bad in itself. But this intelligence is hard to measure, and these people rely on grades and exams to assess it, which is also wrong.
Or it might be that I'm just dumb and cannot accept it. I'm so frustrated. Maybe there's something wrong with me.
TL;DR: Throughout my life, I've been curious and enjoyed learning. My parents supported me, and I excelled in school. However, college has been a letdown. The professors aren't effective, the workload is overwhelming, and I feel behind compared to my friends. I've lost my passion for learning and lack motivation. Therapy has helped with anxiety, but I still question my intelligence and feel frustrated and alone.
