Car rental plymouth in

My last post had a lot of really helpful stuff and I really appreciate this community for not bein jerks with new guys. We all got the same enthusiasm for V dubs. I am preparing for upgrades, in the meantime, can use point me in the direction of the best brands for parts that are regularly changed i.e. breaks, tires, plugs, belts… I’m really looking for good rotors and brakes for my car n want the best brands to put on. Any ideas?

Miller Huggins was hired as the Yankee manager in 1918, replacing "Wild Bill" Donovan, who was liked by both fans and players, but the team had finished 6th (out of 8) and ownership wanted to make a change.
Huggins had been the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals but was not re-signed after the 1917 season when they were bought by a new owner. A.L. President Ban Johnson told Yankee co-owners Jacob Ruppert and Til Huston they should hire Huggins, but neither man was interested: Huston wanted to hire Wilbert Robinson, the manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers and his long-time drinking buddy. Ruppert didn't like Huggins because he wore a wool cap and smoked a pipe, which he considered too bougie. But he didn't want to hire Robinson either, knowing Huston would essentially be running the team through him. So he waited until Huston was in Europe, then hired Huggins! The decision soured their relationship and Huston often criticized Huggins in the press, blaming him for losses, bad trades, and so on.
Two years later, the Yankees acquired Babe Ruth and he didn't like Huggins either. He had no respect for the diminutive, college-educated Huggins.
In 1974, long-time Yankee public relations man Marty Appel interviewed the 83-year-old Roger Peckinpaugh to get his memories about the Yankees. Peckinpaugh had been the team captain from 1914 to 1921. "Peck" told this story about the Babe and Huggins after a road trip in 1920:

"Once we were leaving Boston after a tough loss, and Babe was drunk, and he said he was gonna throw Huggins off the train! He was heading for his drawing room. On the way he stopped in the men’s room and punched this huge mirror. It fell into a million pieces. Me and Ernie Shore and Truck Hannah pulled him down to the ground and sat on him until he passed out. Truck — a big guy — puts him over his shoulder and moves him to the next car."

Knowing Huggins was a divisive issue between Ruppert and Huston -- and that he was the best player in baseball -- Ruth knew he could berate, ignore, and threaten Huggins with no real consequences. But in 1922, the relationship between Huston and Ruppert had gotten so bad that Huston sold his half of the team. A year later, with Huggins as manager, the Yankees finally won the World Series, finally earning some respect from his manager and the rest of the players, but not Ruth.
In 1925, Ruth missed the beginning of the season due to what was either a belly ache or a venereal disease depending on who you believe, and the Yankees were terrible, finishing 7th out of 8 teams. Ruth tried to start a rumor that Huggins was going to be fired and Ruppert quashed it, saying Huggins would be the manager "for as long as he cares to be." Finally feeling he had the support of ownership behind him, and with the team having a bad year anyway, Huggins fined Ruth and suspended him. Ruth went to Ruppert and demanded that Huggins be fired. Ruppert backed his manager, telling Ruth he wouldn't play baseball again until Huggins said so.
Ruth apologized to Huggins and he ended the suspension after a week. He never challenged Huggins's authority again.
At the end of the 1929 season, Huggins developed a high fever and went to the hospital. He died five days later of an infection.
A heartbroken Babe Ruth said:

“There isn’t anyone who ever knew Miller Huggins who won’t miss him. I’ve seen some smart baseball men, but he was the king of them all. The record of the Yanks shows his baseball greatness; the thousands who have known him will testify to his greatness as a man. His loss to the Yankees and to baseball generally is irreparable.”

Stop. Seriously. I am beyond tired of hearing this. There are plenty of things to do in Mobile. We have Gamers N Geeks, church, restaurants, bars, car washes, and storage units. How is that not enough for people?! I literally can’t wrap my head around it. I grew up in the middle of scenic nowhere in Montana and I’m overwhelmed at the amount of things to do in Mobile. I’m also tired of people complaining about how difficult it is to make friends in this town. People here literally go out of their way to talk to and hangout with new people (especially people from the Springhill area). When I moved here, I was shocked at how friendly, accepting, and open minded people were here. Moving here was the smartest thing I’ve ever done.

In the last period, I noticed a big overheating problem while connected via Android Auto to my car.
I got picks of over 40° C and consequently a huge battery drop even when I am not using Google Maps on the car's display.
Is that normal? If not, how can I solve it?

Nsibling and I would sometimes hang and talk with each other. It's always really really awkward. Like I have nothing to say really. We don't have much in common. We don't have anything in common but he'd say other wise. It's just a narc tactic to make me open up. Like the time he told me he's actually an introvert but he also confessed he can't be alone with himself. Yeah you really convinced me you're an introvert😒
Literally every fuxking time we talk about anything he always makes it about himself and goes on this long tangent where he'll try to give me advice and shit it's like he thinks the crap coming out of his mouth is so fuxking unique. He thinks he's Andrew Tate . I just can't handle the fuxking preachy nature and always having to step on eggshells to avoid him preaching. I'll make small talk and next thing you know he's talking about fuxking life advice.
Why do they always make it about themselves and always try to teach you something or give you shitty unsolicited advice? He fuxking can't have a normal conversation with me about anything. We'll talk about cars and when I wipe my eyes out he's fucking preaching.
Even when we talk about things in which I'm superior than him like lifting weights he'll still act like he can teach me something. He actually got mad one time and resorted to bitch tactics again moving away from lifting weights entirely to throw digs at me about how some folk never make it and resort to fuxking their life up or some shit idk. I can't stand talking to him.
You can't talk to someone who just always wants to preach and teach you something and give advice. He's just like his nfather. Thinking the crap out of their mouths is gold. As a child this is the literal reason why I avoided nfather like the plaque. He would always want to preach.

Hi, I just worked for almost a month in a really toxic work environment as a member of the entertaining team in a hotel. The experience has been so stressful that I arrived to the last day (yesterday) with the true and real fear of dying. After all the continuous verbal and psychological abuses, that day things degenerated to physical, but no one believed me because it was from a girl. It was 3 o clock in the night, I was in my bed while the girls came back from a night out drinking since it was our free day. They came in my room and screamed at me because I didn't accept to go take their laundry. When I responded in the same tone they started insulting me and try to undermine me personally in many ways. When they noticed that I didn't want to submit, they started hitting my bed with their hand, and that's the point where I stand up and tell them to stop otherwise there would have been consequences. One of the two starts to push me multiple times and then slapped me in the face.
At this point I immediately reported the thing to someone in a higher position in the hierarchy of the company. They made me prepare the bags without telling me why and made me jump on a car with the chief of my team and a collegue. They plotted it behind my back without telling me anything. We arrived at another hotel, where the person I reported it to was. They went to talk together and left me behind, not letting me listen, interact, or try to defend myself. After 1 hour and a half they come back with the person I reported the facts to, plus 2 members of the other team that were not necessary or involved and just wanted to know the situation and make fun of it (mostly at my expenses).
The chief starts talking and basically says that I'll have to work until Monday (yesterday), when someone from the office of the agency will decide what will be about me. No one mentioned about the consequences of the other part. I was the only one under process. With absolutely no tutelage. Just because they felt that the other person was more useful than me, while I was probably too unconvenient. We go back at the hotel where I worked at about 6:30 in the morning, and at 9 I had to start working again until 12 PM (Like we did everyday)
That morning, during one of our usual pre-work team meetings where we decided what to do, the chief tells me to do an activity I never did before. I ask "where is it?" since I was never told before. The chief, that since the first day I started working with him always showed anger management issues but somehow always managed to contain them, this time started physically assaulting me, telling me "go or I kill you, I break your face." Since I didn't know where to go I just said "yeah but where? It's the first time I do it". That's where he starts holding my neck with both of his hands and pushing his head towards mine with a psychopath look on his face and his eyes straight towards mine. I recorded the whole situation on audio. I haven't sent the audio to anyone yet.
I am safe now I escaped that insane toxic place and I'm in a b&b preparing my trip home.
The company wants from me refund of the outbound flight that they paid me to reach the workplace (which is in another country than my original one) and to keep my salary as a refund for food and accomodation.
Now, do you think I should just let this go and refund them or go through this with a lawyer? I am sure I did nothing wrong except leaving the workplace suddenly because I felt genuinely in danger both physically and psychologically. During lunch time that day I literally passed out on the bed in my shared room and woke up with shakes like if I had a fever of 40°. I was insanely sick and was seriously afraid for my life since there was no respect for human right. We had to ask for permission even when we wanted to drink water or go to the bathroom and the chief once literally said "you're not allowed to pass out".
Even if I wasn't the only one in this situation because obviously I was in a team, it felt like there was some sort of gang dynamic and I was being targeted because I tried to complain a couple times with some of the other members of my team, which I found out that besically always told to the chief everything I said. Needless to specify that the situation was clearly a mobbing towards me.
The verbal abuses, undermining, debasement and humiliations were everyday, but after the aggressions between that night and the day after just because I tried to defend myself and not let them submit me, I couldn't stay there anymore.
What steps would you people take from now if you were in my place?

Honestly I find it really galling tk hear a millionaire pastor preaching against abortion, trans rights and speaking homophobically to his middle class flock who turn up to church in sports cars and teslas. Many in all churches fall foul of Matt 25:32-40 and do not care for the poor and outcast and in these times when food banks are more common than Mcdonalds outlets and an ambulance ride can Bankrupt people it feels like a lot of people are missing the point of Jesus' teachings...
What do you think we should be focusing on instead?

I applied for a trade in which was approved. The car I looked at only had 3 imperfections. When I went to pick up the car at location and trade in, the car had more imperfections than they had described. When the gentleman brought the car out right away he said that there might be more marks on the car than described on the site because of transportation. When I took the car for a drive it was also making some sort of weird whirring sound when I would press on the gas. At first I was giving it a chance, but after looking at all around again it kind of threw me off. The car only had 3 imperfections on the pictures small scratches. When they brought the car it ha 4 dings on the right side and a bike mark on the right rear wheel fender. The left had extremely bad scratches, deep and the front hood had a ton on scratches. All these imperfections were real clear even from far. The guy told me that Carvana cant fix up cars before the customer sees it and then tells me in 48hr they send me a link and I can report all the stuff that was not on site and that they could polish and detail the car. I told him those scratches were not going to come off they were deep and he said he understands and that Carvana can fix it all for me at a shop. At that point I was kind of thrown off and skeptical so I just said I couldn’t take the car in that condition, and taking it to a shop would take more than a week to fix all those deep scratches. I’m not going to expect the car to be perfect, but that was just way too much. My car has a few marks here and there. At the bumper, but nothing major at all as I have my own indoor garage. I just felt like I was giving away a paid off car that looked brand new to finance one with loads of imperfections. I’m really disappointed because I wanted the car, but at the same time something kept telling me not to take it.

We are preparing to move out from our rental property in the coming weeks and there are a few scratches on the laminate flooring which sadly occurred on our first day moving in.
Also the vinyl flooring under the washing machine in the kitchen has torn when putting in a new appliance. Unfortunately the flooring has been discontinued so I have brought some black vinyl squares to place down so there aren’t bare floorboards (but this will be under the next tenants washer anyway).
My question is: has anyone had a similar experience and how much was deducted from the deposit?
Apart from that we have taken great care of the property and I’m hoping that not too much is taken off!

I park on a hill and leave my car in gear with the e-brake on. If I let the e-brake off, the car rolls like it's in neutral! Doesn't matter what gear it's in. In my truck, keeping it in gear prevents it from rolling. Is this a Honda thing, or is something broken? Thanks?

Hi, I am about to sign a private "Unfall Versicherung". I need help here, do I really need to pay myself if a helicopter is used after a car crash? How is ambulance/helicopter service working? (I have a normal ÖGK, so this new insurance would be an add on) I wanted to cancel that point on my offer but the insurance guy is insisting that it's a must. you can write in German, I understand everything, but my german writing is poor.

I will start by saying that I truly love my gf but sometimes she can be impulsive, especially when drinks are involved, and it can turn her into somewhat of a dumbass. She was celebrating her best friend’s birthday all weekend. The official party was on Saturday and she told me the plan was to go shopping, out to eat, and then the birthday party. A couple things happened that made me pause.

1. She asked me for money bc she wanted to order the most expensive thing to eat (pasta and lobster) and it wasn’t in her budget.
   
2. She got sloppy drunk at the party and tried to lie saying someone slipped something in her drink
   

The first point isn’t as bad as the second point but still up there bc I don’t want her thinking I’m gonna spoil her like her dad. The second point is the main issue I’m having bc she tried blaming me for her actions bc I couldn’t be there for her. I was literally at my buddy’s house lifting and I drank a few beers. I wasn’t on my phone bc I was doing my own thing so I didn’t see her texts or calls.
She was home before me and passed out hanging off the sofa. One of her shoes were missing and she had makeup on the couch and some puke on the floor. I couldn’t wake her up so I put her in the tub and splashed her with cold water. She was out but still breathing. I had to carry her to the car, getting looks from the neighbors, and take her to the emergency room. She had Xanax in her system and had to stay overnight.
I don’t think anyone would waste a Xanax to roofie her when she was at a public party where everyone would know what’s going on and wouldn’t allow her to get taken advantage of. I honestly believe she took it herself and over estimated what she can handle, some of her friends might’ve taken one too. It was mostly girls there from what I heard.
I messaged her best friend asking if she thinks my gf was roofied and she was shocked and said no and asked if she was okay bc she saw her leave early and that’s it. My gf is insisting she was roofied but she can’t explain how it happened when she was watching her drink. She blamed me for not being there to pick her up and she isn’t talking to me, rather ignore me like a child. We live together so it’s tense every time we’re in the same room. I feel like there is something she isn’t telling me and holes all in her story. I think she’s feeling shame for how she was perceived and wants to lie and put the blame on me so she doesn’t feel as bad.
I will add that I know she had good people around her to take care of her whether it was actually her getting roofied or just overdosing herself
TL;DR gf got sloppy drunk and on Xanax at a birthday party and said she was roofied but no one else said that. She’s placing blame on me for not being able to pick her up bc I was busy and expected to see her later in the night.

I’m mad about so many things. Here’s a short list.
1) We share a car (my car) because he got into an accident with his and didn’t have insurance so we had to pay $10K to the other parties insurance company and lost his car. I’m angry because he had recently moved provinces and I asked him to go handle everything at the ministry multiple times and he brushed me off and then it turns out the insurance renewal got sent to his old house and he didn’t get it or ever check up on it so was uninsured for months. But he would have known that if he had gone to the ministry like he was supposed to and like I asked.
2) The $10K we had to pay? He told me we didn’t owe anything and that he spoke to them. A year later he gets fired from his job and in the same conversation let’s me know he actually owes $10K and they’re going to take him to court if he doesn’t make a payment plan and initial payment immediately. When I ask why he lied to me he just says he didn’t know how to tell me. Except you didn’t just hide the amount owed, you lied right to my face multiple times when I asked about it.
3) I had PPD after our second child and he didn’t step up and anytime I tried to talk about how hard it was he just told me everyone’s tired and I needed to get over it.
4) Last night I put one kid to bed and he put the other to bed. Afterwards I came to the living area and started cleaning up and he fell asleep with the kid. No problem. Then he wakes up and comes out and starts asking why I’m so angry. I’m confused because I’m literally just listening to music and cleaning the house. No I’m not super smiley but I was like this before he walked out, it’s not directed at him. But now I’m getting annoyed because he keeps asking why I’m angry and why I’m cleaning if I’m mad. Like?? There aren’t special fairies that come out and finish putting toys away and loading the dishwasher just because I didn’t want to. I just want to clean up and then decompress and go to bed but apparently I need to be happy all the time while I do it??
5) this morning he’s heading to work (he usually works in his office in the basement or his coworking space which is walking distance) and asks what I’m doing. I’m not sure yet, might go to story time or the museum or the park. He keeps asking what we’re doing and what time. Like I don’t know. Nothing is even open yet and the 1 year old has an irregular nap schedule. We’ll go when we go. Why does it matter what time?
And then he’s like “well I need the car so I need to know what time you need it”. Could you not have started with that???? Does it need to be an interrogation? You could just say “hey I need the car today from x to x time” and I’ll adjust. Then sarcastically he’s like “okay this morning I’m taking the car to work”. Like I don’t need this sass or an interrogation. Also how am I supposed to plan around you having the car if you don’t tell me you need the car??
6) I bought a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my iPad because he got a new job a couple years ago and needed my MacBook to do it. I thought his job was going to provide one but it’s been 2 years so my computer is his now. While I’m setting up the Bluetooth keyboard he’s asking why I need it. So I tell him I miss writing and I’m thinking of doing a Coursera class so it would be nice to have a keyboard. He asks why we can’t budget to buy me a computer even though he’s well aware we have no extra money and life is only getting more and more expensive.
7) he set up his life insurance for his new job and put his siblings down instead of me and the kids because he thought it meant guardianship. Even though his siblings are not our chosen guardians… I found out when I logged in to make a prescription claim and checked over all the details
Honestly I could go on and I’m sure he has a list about me but I just don’t know how to move forward from here. Lately I find I’m happiest when he’s travelling for work and not here.
There are good times too and he does help clean the house, and cook, and will take the boys to the park so I can get some time alone on the weekends.
I’m just not sure how to move forward. I hate the way he communicates and I feel like I can’t trust him to handle financial and life matters properly.
Is there a reset button we can hit? Would we better off separated?
Has anyone ever moved past a ton of resentment to have a happy relationship again? And how.

Hey. I recently got my hands on the playstation 4 pro and am not really familiar with the Playstation library. Stuff like snowrunner is also welcome, that's a game I adore, but obviously it's not a racing game. Hmm.. what do I like about car games:
engine sounds that are different, multiple cars, interesting tracks, longer tracks are especially cool.
I will be playing mostly singleplayer. Having a local coop would be cool but it's not something that has to be in the game.
I would like to get some recommendations in all three categories. They don't have to be best of the best or anything like that, just something what you would recommend or like is good enough for me. The more suggestions, the better.
