Here are all of the new US CHAdeMO (Leaf fast-charging) stations that rolled out in May 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
There were 124 "new" CHAdeMOs added in May. To put it in perspective, there were 112 CCS chargers added in April. I think the pace of CHAdeMO rollout has stabilized, while the pace of CCS rollout is still increasing. This makes sense given that only Nissan still makes a CHAdeMO car.
Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes," e.g. the provider replaced them with faster chargers etc. Some may be incorrect. This report is only as good as the Alternative Fuels Data Center data.
We all know that CHAdeMO is a legacy format and will eventually go away, but clearly Nissan and their partners are continuing to support it for the time being. This shouldn't be surprising. After all, you can still buy a new Leaf.

There were 222 CCS charge points added or refreshed in May 2023, which is up from 171 in April. For comparison, there were only 74 new CCS charge points in May 2022. Things are speeding up.
"What about CCS charging at Tesla superchargers?" Tesla is in the process of rolling out their "magic dock" for non-Tesla cars, but so far in very few locations. If they start doing this at scale and reporting it to the Alternative Fuels Data Center then it will be reflected here.
"What about Ford vehicles with NACS (Tesla) plugs?" They are not on sale yet. Current-generation Ford vehicles have CCS plugs. The next generation will have NACS (Tesla) plugs, but will also support CCS via an adapter.

I read a bunch online, but just to confirm/ask:
- I can bring my current off-roster guns to CA, and just need to register with CaDOJ within 60 days. Ie., I can bring my G43x, even though it's a Gen5 and doesn't have microstamping.
- There is no limit to the number of off-roster guns I can bring, and it won't raise any eyebrows.
- I can bring my own ammo when I move, but it has to be for personal use? This one seemed confusing. Can I bring any ammo (non-BMG or APR obvs - 9mm, .223, etc.) and any amount of ammo with me?
- Are there any restrictions on bringing in long guns I own, besides the 10-rd cap and pistol grip?
- I heard I should consider bringing an AR lower if I want to build later - is there any difference between bringing a built AR versus building one in-state?
- Sacramento Co seems to be pretty chill about issuing CCW, is that correct?
- Can I bring a regular stock Kel-Tec Sub2000, or do I have to get one of those godawful "CA legal" ones?
- Are there other idiotic CA restrictions, like not being able to buy holsters or guncases from within CA?

Here’s what I know as of now. *He was waiting to pick up his girlfriend from work. She worked at Packs Dispensary in Stockton, Ca. *According to the bartender there Jacob had a couple Long Islands. *He realized he didn’t have his debit card and said he would be back to pay. *The bartender also said he was on the phone with his girlfriend while he was waiting for her at the restaurant. *He left the restaurant and just disappeared. *He was driving a white 2004 Honda Pilot with a California license plate number 5JBC311

In 2006, I stayed overnight with a buddy at a second property his family had purchased. It was an old farm just on the outskirts of Florin Road / Watt Avenue in Sacramento, CA. My buddy’s family had not moved in and he wanted to spend the night on the property to “get a feel for it.”
The previous property owner’s husband passed away and she sold the home for cheap. What struck me as odd was that she left all of the furniture and tons of miscellaneous personal property behind, which we discovered later had belonged to her late husband.
I told my friend to get rid of all that junk because in my culture (Laotian / Thai), we believed it was bad luck to hang on to a deceased person’s property. The superstition was that the dead might come back and look for their property.
On that particular night, I spent the night on the couch in the living room. My buddy was sleeping on the floor next to me. I could not fall asleep but heard my buddy snoring loudly, therefore, I knew he was in a deep sleep and did not witness the events soon-to-follow.
As I am slowly drifting off to sleep, I heard the closet door located about a car length from my feet slowly open. I knew it opened because it made the creaking noise from when a door swings on a hinge. At that point, I became fully alert but kept my eyes closed. I could hear my heart beating out of my chest!
I was laying on my back and I faced the ceiling. I slightly opened my eyes and glanced towards the closet. It was a full moon so the living room was well lit. That’s when I saw it! A black shadow coming towards me from inside the open closet. It had the silhouette of a man and stood approximately seven feet tall by two feet wide. It crept toward me and I was so scared I just closed my eyes and froze in place. I felt paralyzed and was in the verge of shitting and pissing myself.
I kept my eyes closed and remained still for what felt like five minutes. Then the second half (and most scary) of this paranormal bullshit began. The blanket I had draped over me slowly began pulling off my body. I could feel parts of my upper torso getting cold as the blanket pulled away from my skin, towards my feet.
I felt each individual hair on my skin stand because it was so cold. As the blanket continued pulling away and got closer to my feet, I whispered my buddy’s name multiple times repeating, “Dennis, Dennis…wake the fuck up…something is going on in here foo!”
Dennis eventually stopped snoring and said, “What the fuck man? I’m trying to sleep bitch!”
After that, all the paranormal stuff stopped. I wrapped multiple blankets around me and slept in the prone position for the remainder of the night. I never had a more scary paranormal experience. I also have not been back to my buddy’s farm since the incident.
Sometimes weird things happen and they just cannot be explained. That night still bothers me until this day. I think the event took place sometime shortly after midnight. I thought the couch I was sleeping on was my buddy’s, but later discovered it was part of the property that was left behind from the previous homeowner. I think her late husband came back from the dead to reclaim his couch lol!
