I wanted to get a new Thinkpad with more memory than my current T14s gen 1 with 16gb ram. I found a T14 gen 3 ( notice , it is not a T14s) with Intel 1260p and 40gb ram in eBay for 850 which seemed to be a good deal for me despite I initially wanted to stick with AMd processors. Laptop seems to perform fine except for the fan noise which is clearly more noticeable than what I had with the T14s. I've been reading this Intel 1260p are known for overheating,etc....did I make a mistake buying this laptop?? Probably sell it and get AMD?

I play this game a lot, so naturally I want to play it with other people sometimes, but not just random people, I want to play it with friends. The problem is it feels like as a higher ranked player, it’s hard to play good games with new players.
If I want to play a game with a friend who’s not played the game a lot, we have to queue into my causal lobbies, which are obviously way above their skill level, so they end up rarely getting the touch the ball and I’m essentially playing 1v2. The result is we get destroyed and they end up not enjoying the game.
I feel like compared to other games, it’s hard to get close games where everyone can contribute properly (but maybe that’s because I’m not that good at most other games). It’s frustrating because I wish my friends played rocket league but they’re nowhere near my skill level so they came have fun in my lobbies.
I’ve tried also doing extra modes, and it works a decent bit as a compromise, I don’t really enjoy them as much as standard rocket league, but I’m willing to do it if it means I get to play with friends, but a lot of the time it’s still me basically carrying the game.
The only way I can get lobbies that are better for my friends is to smurf, but obviously that’s just going to ruin matches for other players, so I won’t do that.
But yeah I hate how difficult it is to play with lower ranked players as a higher rank.

Quick tips: 1st boss you can dunk each round 1 by 1 if you don't feel confident doing all 3 together. Create orbs near damage before dunking final orb so proc. If you need to hide from low health it's okay to jump into the water to escape. Better to be safe than have to start over. In the Wizard fight Arc Hunter makes this dungeon 10x easier than any other class imo, especially the final fight as you can basically ignore the moths. Just start your combination blow near spawn. Before going into any of the guardian hive areas, lure an add near you to reproc the combination blow timer. You'll have just enough time to move through the water and keep it active to insta nuke them. Here's my final Boss notes I kept open whilst in the fight 😅 1. NEVER START WITH CHEST 2. ALWAYS ACTIVATE ALL 3 SYMBOLS FIRST 3. KILL 1 GUARDIAN THEN DUNK. REPEAT. 4. LOOK AT SYMBOL. THEN FINISH.

I've file and recieved my e-commerce LLC prematurely in June 2021 with the hopes of launching my e-commerce business (retail: clothes) that same summer. Both these pursuits I really want to pursue (one can finance the other). Which should I pursue first? I wasn't sold on pursing both because that can be spreading me thin and I also don't want to exhaust my loan eligibility (??). Any advice?

I was thinking about form change in Pokemon Go again and again, when I find different inconveniences, for example find a sunny Cherrim or find a good Castform (Normal, Fire, Water, Ice) for PvP.
And everytime I think Niantic wasted some potential in that regard. Let me start with a short summary of form Change in Pokemon Go:
Tl;dr

1. Many form changes could be used with the current mechanic for convenience (Burmy, Castform, Cherrim) by just rerolling the attacks if necessary.
2. Other form change can be used with the current mechanic for huge convenience by reducing the grind (Deoxys, Dialga/Palika/Giratina, Genesct, Arceus and Sylvalli and their origin forms). And similar where the Pokemon are fused (Kyurem, Necrozma)
3. And some would not fit with the current mechanic (Palafin, Wishiwashi, Eiscue, Mimikyu, Aegislash)

For 1 I can really see that it would make sense and is introduced (if Niantic remembers and finds the resources)
For 2 it would make as much sense as for 1, but I don't think it will be introduced since Niantic wants us to grind raids
For 3 it could be introduced, but with a new mechanic and we know how well Niantic does for that (Kecleon introduction says hello)

Mechanics

The mechanic is reather simple, spend the corresponding Pokemon candy (10-50) and stardust (2000-10.000) to change the form.
In Main Series Games (MSG):

• Hoopa and Shaymin change forms by being exposed to a key-item
• Furrou changes forms by being groomed. An activity done by a NPC.

So far this feature has only been released to those three Pokemon. I would now like to list candidates that could use the same mechanic and logic to form change and whether possible pros and cons for the Pokemon:

Castform

In Main Series Games (MSG) Castform changes forms in battle due to weather.
This is different from the current form changes, since it does not require a key item but a certain weather condition. Since we already have weather conditions in in Pokemon Go we could also adept a form change here.
Mechanic:
Depending on the weather you can spend candies and stardust to change Castform to a form fitting the current weather
Problem:
What happens with its Moves?
As long as it has no legacy moves, just reroll the moves. Except weahter ball, this changes it's type corresponding to the Castform.

Deoxys

In MSG it changes it's form according to the type of metorite it was exposed to. This is similar to changing with a key item. So make form changes similar to Shaymin and Hoopy
Problems:
Reroll the movesets (except Psycho boost) and we are fine.
Advantages:
You have an XL Defense Deoxys, then you can change its form and have some spice in the regular Master League.

Burmy and Wormadam

Burmy can change its form freely depending on the environment, but once evolved the form is fixed. In Pokemon Go it could change its form depending on the Terrain you are in. Near water, you can form change to Sandy Cload, in forest or grass you can formchange to Plant Cloak and in City or Roads to Trash Cloak. And once evolved Wormadam stays fixed.
Problems:
It may be hard to determine the Terrain in the Code and might be UX hard to tell on which terrain the player is standing.

While all three can have legacy moves, they probably are obtainable (or will be) on all three Pokemon.

I think it could be ok, I like this thougt more than grinding the needed XL Candy to also XL Dialga/Palkia Origina or to grind two Griatinas to LvL 50
But it would also be fine to do the same thing as with the other form changes and reroll these moves that you don't want on them.
I think the main problem is, that Niantic will not allow us to have a convenient way to get Lvl 50 Dialga/Palkia origin. They want us to grind those Raids.

I am upset to see all these revelations about MMY in the facebook groups.
For me, TM basically saved my life. I was in a bad place, and TM bought me release from nearly all my problems, and gave me a calmer more settled control of my life. I have experienced untold benefits, far too many to list.
And I am in touch with a deep inner peace and silence, a sense of a real universal eternity existing outside of my individual life, something that I had never encountered before TM.
I am very happy with the basic TM technique, and will do it for the rest of my life, although I have no interest whatsoever in the siddhis or advanced techniques. I don’t need them.
It saddens me that MMY, who I so looked up to, is now perhaps not the man we thought.
But… ultimately it doesn’t matter to me. Transcendental meditation works and it is real. I am beyond grateful for it.
MMY made other mistakes as well, for instance withdrawing teaching from the UK during the Iraq war, because he was disgusted by Tony Blair. I get that but why punish the man in the street who might wish to learn TM? Why not also do the same in the USA who led the war anyway?
And aside from MMY I am horrified by the pictures I have seen of the upper echelons of the TMO. Who sit around in silk robes and golden crowns!! It looks exactly like the Pope surrounded by all his minions at the vatican. Just so very wrong! I want nothing to do with the TMO.
So…. both MMY and the TMO were and are flawed, but the process of basic transcendental meditation is a real tangible and beautiful thing.

hello everyone, i have a laptop with a rtx 3060 6gb (laptop version obv) which should perform on an average 6 to 7it/s, in fact yesterday i decided to uninstall everything and do a complete clean installation of stable diffusion webui by automatic1111 and all the extensions i had previously. I installed only deforum and controlnet and started a random test text2img with different models and on average i had around 6.5it/s. Today i tried again but i get like 10 seconds per iteration!
