Lg refrigerator compressor replacement
Is the TCL QLED C639 any good?
2023.06.02 10:02 Lunethlion Is the TCL QLED C639 any good?
Hello guys, i have been searching for a replacement for my bad LG tv bought some years ago (which is now more blue than the sea), and the tv world is a bit confusing for me.
I did read in this subreddit that the TCL Series 5 is nice (535) but can't find it anywhere (I'm from Spain).
I have seen the TCL 43C639 for 339€ and i was wondering if it is any good. Also seen a Samsung Q64B for 514€.
Do you recommend me any of those? Or anything else?
Thanks in advance!

2023.06.02 09:55 James_Lawrence_Dolan Kitchen power goes out for several hours at a time... Ideas?
I'm having a recurring issue where my kitchen/living room power keeps going out for several hours at a time, often at night. The breaker flips and will not turn back on for several hours, leaving us unable to use appliances or watch TV etc. I've had electricians over but by the time I can get one around the issue is often resolved and they can't locate a fault.
All our appliances are new except for our refrigerator which we purchased second hand. I often notice the compressor running on the fridge right before the power goes out however maybe I'm just noticing the immediate "lack" of sound more than anything. In addition, the Oven (Gas + elec fan/light) is often on or has recently been on but last night we had an outage with the oven unplugged as a test measure.
I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar before or maybe any ideas as to what the cause may be? I've tried unplugging all appliances to reset breaker and keeping them unplugged when not in use etc but no luck.
Additionally, can a surge protector work in reverse? Was thinking maybe I could put one on my fridge if so to try and see if that is the culprit? It was a cheap piece of shit and I wouldn't hesitate to get a new one if this was the problem. This is honestly driving us insane and any help would be greatly appreciated.

2023.06.02 09:16 Mediumofmediocrity Samsung refrigerator tripping circuit breaker
M/N RFG297AAWP/XAA - the S/N indicates it was built in 2008. We tried to roll the refrigerator out to figure out if water by it was a leak or just a melting ice cube that the kids dropped. When we tried to tilt it back a couple inches to look under it , the circuit breaker tripped (it’s not on a GCFI receptacle). When I tried turning on the breaker it instantly tripped again. I moved the refrigerator a couple feet to get to the outlet and tried it again, this time it didn’t trip and it cooled just fine. When I rolled it back in place, the metal back of the refrigerator contacted the copper water line tubing water supply and it sparked where it touched the copper tubing & tripped the breaker. The copper tubing transitions to plastic tubing feeding into the refrigerator. I checked the outlet and while it is a 3 prong outlet, it’s not grounded. The house is old so I assume a previous owner simply installed a 3 prong outlet being cheap & lazy. When I turned the breaker back on I checked voltage between the back metal panel of the refrigerator and the copper tubing with a multimeter and it showed about 119v so I figured something inside is shorting to the frame/ground. It cools fine so I left it plugged in so we don’t lose our food & will call a service tech in the morning. I warned my family not to touch the back. We have vinyl tile floor thank goodness. I did turn the cooling off using the front panel to test and it still shows the voltage between the back & copper tubing. Any ideas or is it likely time to replace it?

2023.06.02 06:11 Far_Conversation4605 A/C blowing room temp (not hot) set for cold.
Hello, I’m new to this but I am looking for help or advise. I live in Florida idk if that matters.
I have a goodman ckl24-1k and I have starting getting issues with it. At first it wasn’t blowing cold air only room temp. I did some research online and diagnosed that the capacitor was broken. The unit started working when i did the repair. But since then it keeps giving the same issue where the air blow room temp. I had to change the capacitor multiple times since the beginning of the year, but not back to back. More like once every 2-3 months now. The weather is thundery at the moment. I’m not sure if the weather is causing my ac to act up or if my whole outside unit/ compressor needs to be replaced. Or if something else need to be changed

2023.06.02 05:59 Abanzie1 New AC unit.
In Ontario what is the going rate for just an ac unit and hook up. The one we had worked until the compressor seized. I replaced a capacitor and boost capacitor but that didn’t work. My thoughts are we need a new unit. About 1200 sq foot.

2023.06.02 05:54 Mangobatz Will an i7-9700 bottleneck an rx 7900 xtx in 4k?
Im planning on buying an rx 7900 xtx and an LG C2 to go with it. Was wondering if I need to upgrade my cpu or would it still be fine? Was looking at getting a ryzen 7800x3d but Im not really sure if its worth it since i would also be replacing my ram from ddr4 to ddr5, and getting a new am5 motherboard which adds to the cost.

2023.06.02 05:52 michigan_1992 LG fridge ice dispenser flap not closing all the way
https://i.imgur.com/wtjYso9.jpg https://i.imgur.com/a22oG7O.jpg My LG LFXS30766S/02 fridge’s ice dispenser was developing a lot of condensation and the freezer temp was increasing. I discovered that the ice flap was not closing all the way. Although with the control panel off it was closing just fine. I changed the springs just to be sure. Again, it isn’t closing completely with the panel installed but when I connect all the wires but have the control panel removed it opens and closes just fine. I also replaced the rubber on the flap but not the entire assembly.

2023.06.02 05:31 LedBely Asus PG27AQDM showing it is not GSync Compatible
| Asus PG27AQDM showing it is not GSync Compatible I received my Asus PG27AQDM today. My 4080 is not reading the new monitor as GSync Compatible. I am able to checkmark "Enable settings for the selected display model" but underneath it says "Selected Display is not validated as Gsync Compatible. https://preview.redd.it/jsyxes24yi3b1.png?width=521&format=png&auto=webp&s=4eb0844170ba41bc95a02862195305a75f16b709 I updated the drivers and the firmware. I have tried it in SDR and HDR. I replaced the OEM cable with an aftermarket that I know works. I feel like I have done everything to get it to work. I have played a few games and dont see any dramatic tearing but I just worry this is a sign of things to come. My local best buy has the LG 27GR95QE in stock and I have a $200 gift card I can use to pick it up for cheaper. I went Asus because of the Brightness difference despite all of the issues people have had. I hope this is just user error but I feel like something isn't right. submitted by LedBely to OLED_Gaming [link] [comments] |
2023.06.02 05:14 Station_Opposite Battery replacement
I have a 36V battery comprised of 40 18650 LG MH1 cells. Four of them died and I bought the same cells to replace them. All of the cells are currently at 4v however the new ones are at 3.5v. If I replace the cells, would the BMS in the battery automatically balance the cells? or would it be a problem if I didn’t install them at the same voltage. I don’t have a way to charge individual 18650 cells.

2023.06.02 04:58 MN-Landlord Ac blowing hot on one side and cold on the other side
I have a 2014 ford fusion se 140,000k miles. When on ac the drivers side blows hot while the passengers side blows cold. The wind speed coming from both sides are all consistent. But the temp is 62 at passenger and the drivers side blows around the outside temp, after driving for awhile like 45 minutes. The drivers side seems to get some what cooler then the outside temperature. And we are in Arizona so it’s hot. Visual inspection everything is good. It is a single climate zone, only one temperature knob for the whole car. I saw someone replace the blend door so I tried that it did not do it. I’m wondering if anyone knows how’s the ac system works in the car. Could Freon levels be incorrect? Big o said the pressure is good no leaks, compressor And everything visually functioned normally. Thank you for all and any help!!😭

2023.06.02 04:16 Idyotec Faulty jumper pack testing and repurposing
Completely new to this sort of thing, any insight appreciated. I bought a jumper pack with built in air compressor and floodlight for my car and it was dead on arrival (doesn't appear to take a charge, neither power buttons do anything). Seller sent a replacement unit and didn't want the old one back. I opened it up and am not sure how to go about troubleshooting, testing if it's the power switch, connections, or battery at fault. All the wires look good, no obvious damage. Most connections have quick release plugs so I have it pretty much disassembled and am wondering where to go from here. I don't have much in the way of electronics toolkit, but willing to get some basics. If it's a quick and easy repair that would be cool, or if it might be worth repurposing into something else I'm open to ideas. It was a $90 unit so I feel it's worth tinkering with as a learning experience. The battery itself has a stamp and barcode: "Shida 6570125 14.8V 4 . 02 .40004011 2022.01.16" Barcode doesn't yield results on Google, but comes with the SKU LKU772203603011. The listing for the jumper says it's 2500A peak 24000mAh. The compressor says it's good for 150psi. There's no obvious markings, labels, stamps, etc on the compressor itself.

2023.06.02 03:54 mngos LG Dryer - DIY replaced rollers & belt but no heat anymore
hey all, hoping you can help
I have a LG DLGX7188RM Steamdryer Gas Dryer that was making ridiculous ruckus when drying so my dad and I replaced all 4 rollers and the belt by following this
video. We re-assembled everything and the noise went away. After re-assembling it, there's no heat. I ran the diagnostics on the dryer & both heating tests failed (followed this
video - thank god for this guy, taught me so much). I tried to hit the heating element's reset button from this
video but it wouldn't click.
So, did we mess up reassembling it together OR do we really need to replace both heating elements?
This was our first time DIY-ing a major appliance.

2023.06.02 02:13 KC_Cameron Resi dudes, what are you charging per pound of 410?
Buddy called me about his moms AC, compressor terminals blew out, charge gone. Local big company came out and quoted warranty compressor replacement. No reversing valve or meters. Itemized 410 at $309/lb. 2200 bucks 7 lb factory charge. I’m strictly commercial and we charge $70 I think. Think we buy at 500 a jug. What in the world. Makes me want to pick up side work.

2023.06.02 00:56 copenhagenwinny Is this quote too high for central air swap?
Hey everyone, So I just had a technician come to the house and delivered the bad news that my compressor has completely stopped working. I have an old system installed around 2008 when the home was built. It uses R-22 refrigerant. I was told that I would have to upgrade the entire system (not including the existing duct work), which I was prepared for, and got a quote for $6850. My question to you guys is if this sounds like a reasonable quote? Before I sign anything, I’ll make a few more phone calls tomorrow for a quote.

2023.06.02 00:49 Not_My_Idea_67 Home AC help.
Calling all
HVAC experts. We have a 2 ton home unit that’s less than 10 years old and still covered by warranty, installed by what I thought was a reputable local company. On start up this week, unit turns on but doesn’t cool. Called installing company and they sent a tech. $190 for the tech to confirm it’s not working, has no refrigerant. Their plan is to charge us $900 to leak test the system which could take 4 to 5 weeks…to identify the part that failed (which is under warranty).
?
Seems sketchy that a company would actually charge someone to find out which part under warranty failed. I understand that labour is no longer covered in our warranty, but isn’t that labour to replace the failed part…not find it.
Anyway…seeking a little help.
