I just need to rant for a second. I (40f) am married to a straight man (37m) I love him so dearly. Overall we have very few issues. But yesterday we were at a store and I saw some Pride shirts. I got so happy! I said, "Oooh they have Pride shirts!". He said,"I'd rather have that bag of reese's than that shirt." Ugh. I said,"well I'd rather have the shirt." Anytime I like something Pride related, he automatically thinks I want to be with a woman. It's so frustrating. I just want to be self-expressive. Whether he likes it or not, I'm bi. It's who I am. No, I'm not looking for a girlfriend. Would I love to have one? Yes. Especially in times like this. But I love him so much and he's good to me. Although he's the last man I'll ever be with. Ugh. I have been toying with the idea of suicide for years.
Tonight, I finally made my decision. I’m going to do it.
They’ve put up suicide barriers in the bridge near me, which is wear I had planned on jumping from, but I think if I feign an injury I should be able to get a script of oxy enough to pass on peacefully.
I won’t do it tonight I don’t think, but sometime over the next week or so.

I've been working with my dog a lot recently, trying to socialize her and get her to be able to be in public anywhere. I go out of my way to go to stores to shop where I can bring my dog, tops markets, cool, save a lot, not so much.
I'm currently an apartment dweller and our yard isn't fenced in and there are lots of other dogs and people. My Stella does well with people, though we're still working on her jumping when she gets excited. She's gotten to listen fairly well and I've been working off leash when possible
This morning we were out enjoying the yard off leash and a little dog and it's person we're walking by. They walked by a couple times, then they stopped near by, within eyesight. Stella just watched as they walked by till they stopped. She's a Pitbull and went charging up to this little dog, I thought it was the end of that little dog the way she went charging up
As soon as she got to the dog she started dancing around doing the thing where they bow down in a play stance. It almost didn't even register that she just wanted to play and not mall this dog... This is my own dog and even I was terrified it wanted something other than to play.
As relieved as I was, omg did that reenforce that I need to socialize her with other dogs sooner rather than later. She gets so excited and just automatically assumes other dogs want to play, which they might, but charging up to them isn't the way to find out. I think after this experience I should be changing my underwear instead of sharing, but here I am...

2023.06.05 16:09 maleehaxmatin Debilitating periods but clear ultrasound, what next?
Hey so for the past few periods I've had debilitating period cramps, 10/10 pain. The periods have also been extremely heavy (bleeding through a tampon every 2 hours for around 8-10 days straight) and i've been passing huge period clots, many around the size of my palm. It's extremely painful when I pass a clot and i literally feel like i'm giving birth. It's not a miscarriage as i'm not sexually active and it's been happening for a good few periods now. I've been prescribed codeine 15mg up to 4x a day for when it's really bad, tranexamic acid for the first 4 days of my period when the bleeding is real heavy and then also been told to take ibuprofen and paracetamol. The painkillers help a bit for like an hour or so but nowhere near enough to be comofrtable. The tranexamic acid helps in reducing the flow a bit but not that much, unfortunately. I also get the bad cramps for a week or so before and after the actual period. The pain is localised to my lower right abdomen and is a sharp stabbing pain that comes in waves, usually worse when i pass clots and has mr in absolute shambles. When it first got bad, my GP told me to go A&E but they just ruled out appendicitis and sent me home. It is consuming my whole life. The fatigue is also pretty bad. I just had a pelvic ultrasound today and it came back totally clear. What do I do now?? I am in London btw.

In Diablo 4 necro has amazing vibes that are provided with great visuals, audio, and great gameplay variety to fulfill your interpretation of necromancer, would it be a blood mage, bonemancer, or commander of undeads.
Still there are several major issues and QoL requests, not numerical ones, that are need to be fixed in order to NS (Necromancer Summoners) felt fully fun to play.
So, what are the main, mechanical issues that NS has right now that makes gameplay quite frustrating to experience:
- Minion Control - While it is not that of an issue with ordinary content like Tree of Wispers, Helltide, etc. In High Tier (at the moment, for you), you will quickly start to notice it once you're going into content that doesn't melt in 2-3 secs against you. When there is a high density of mobs, targeting specific elites or, for example, aura resistance mobs becomes quite a challenge. Any other class or build is able to deal damage to specific targets of their choice no matter the situation - they have tools to do that, while NS can't.
Add to this quite clunky Minion AI and this becomes very serious for you to enjoy the game properly. (I bet you already had noticed that sometimes some of your minions just stands still, doing nothing, especially Mages) AI issue is quite severe, as not only it just don't work properly, but even when it works, its priorities are... questionable. How many times you had experienced this scene? - You are in a middle of a fight with group of elites, Nightmare Portal Affix procs and summons a portal near your minions, but... they ignore it, focusing on mobs that come from the portal instead of the portal itself.
What is my suggestions? - Allow Decompose and\or Blight to help prioritize targets. Or, improve Minion AI so that it will try to prio them in some meaningful way.
- Raise Skeletons - To Note - Although I will criticize the survivability of minions, but not in the way that people usually say in topics. My build is fine and can handle T20 with average difficulty for me. I just want to "pinpoint painpoints" of summoner's gameplay.
Although I do really like the concept of undeads being disposable, therefore, you need to resummon then sometimes - it really feels fresh and improves the vibes of "Every your dead soldier is my future soldier" but there are a lot of cluncky and frustrating issues with the ability and a way how to semi-preserve from harm your current "army". Its not that skellies are too fragile, no. Its that once they are starting to fall, you can't stop them from falling.
For us, summoners, AoE is our greatest enemy - once those 2-3 bulls rushing across all your minions you know - you will have a bad time in the next couple minutes. Why? It is simple - Even with investing properly into minion survivability, they are still are very sensitive to Hard AoE damage that comes from Fallen Overseer's, Maulers, Bulls, Reventants, etc (every region has it's own variant of such enemy). They are the bane of your minion's existence, as those attacks should be dodged by design, which you as a player, doing. But not Minions, they won't. So during fights with couple of this type of creatures, usually, some skellies starts to fall. And thats where the issue is starting to appear. In order to protect them, you should have Priest buff upkept at all time, and even then, 1-2 can fall, but thats ok. It is NOT ok, when the buff goes down, but you have too many skellies died at once - therefore you need to... raise 1 skeleton, targeting a corpse with a cursor (semi-close to it) to raise 1 more skeleton, but you need a priest, not skeleton [type].
So, if speaking simply, in order to keep your skells at max you need a priest. But you need to skells be at max for priest to buff. having to raise 1 skeleton by 1 cast with locked animation makes it painful. Imagine playing sorc but you need to cast hydra 3 times, each time for each head. It is not that of an issue, when you have 5 skells max. But when it is 12, and 3-5 dies after a couple of heavy strikes while you almost managed to rise back to max - and vicious cycle continues. You rise skells to be able to buff them with priest, but as you have too many summons to rise it 1 by 1 click (and roughly 1 sec animation), your old skells will die from AoE because there was no healing.
My solution to this is simple - While you are not at max skeletons, Raise Skeletons skill will, well, rise skeletons (:D) in AoE with up to 3~ skells per cast (consuming corpses for each skeleton as usual ofc, just to consume up to 3 corpses per cast in small AoE that that it will help you keeping Priest buff more comfortable.
Thats pretty much it. There might be other balance issues, but its mostly % power ones, I don't want to point it out here simply as I do not have proper endgame experience, but I had already enough "mechanical" experience with Summoner playstyles of necro, therefore wanted to point out on mechanical issues of it here. Sorry for big post :DD

My Nike Vaporflies are nearing the end of their useful life 😢, so I went shopping for super shoes to replace them. I paid $80 for my Vaporflies around Black Friday and didn't want to spend more than that for a replacement. I found a pair of Saucony Endorphin Pro 2s for $65. The Vaporflies, for me at least, required about two to three runs to get used to running in them (I had never run in a super shoe before). Are the Endorphin Pro 2s the same? Across many years of my life, I’ve had a number of unusual encounters with hawks. I’ve always thought they were fascinating, and they’ve shown up in my life a lot.
I had one follow me across my university campus once, flying from tree to tree to stay near as I walked about half a mile - just swooping and perching it’s way to class with me, 100 feet at a time. Then, once I got in class, it flew up and hit the window of my classroom three times.
Another time, I stared at one and then it dove off of a tower and made a bee-line straight towards me, flying right over my head. I could’ve stuck my arm up in the air and touched it.
There’s a number of other experiences, but it really seems like they tend to notice me just as much as I notice them. I usually lean towards the more skeptical/rationalized end of the spectrum like, “huh, how neat I happen to see a hawk right now,” but this has happened too many times in admittedly atypical ways to justify that perspective any longer.
I dipped my toes into witchcraft over the last year, and I’d like some other opinions on what’s going on? What it could mean? Or what I should/can do, if anything? Thank you very much.

My senior dad is in desperate need to upgrade his iphone 7. He went into the Tmobile store to upgrade his iphone and in the process, he doesn't know/forgot his icloud password. He's huffing and puffing about how he cannot do basic functions with his iphone 7 and NEEDS a new phone. He calls me and gives me the same angry spiel like someone did him wrong, I told him "YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD!!! YOU CANNOT UPGRADE TO A NEW IPHONE WITHOUT THAT PASSWORD!!!"
He tries to guess a bunch of passwords and locked himself out, now apple wont let him recover his account and reset a new password for 13 days. So he now has to wait almost 2 weeks.
I just wonder how often to CS reps have to deal with old folks forgeting their icloud passwords? I get why old folks don't know it because it's not something you use or log into that often. But it has to be frustrating to deal with.

Which leads me to wonder if MJ ever had a group of haters when he played? Like for example LeBron had to deal with so much criticism from the jump which only intensified when he failed to mirror MJ's career and developed a perception as a flopper and a shadow GM that lobbied to trade away players he didn't like etc etc. Did MJ ever get that sort of "hater base" LeBron has right now and if so, what were the usual knocks on him?

A year ago I fell in love with repairing electical devices. I generally love fixing stuff, no matter what it is, it's really satisfying and it makes me happy to bring life back into an object.
When I started repairing electical devices tho, I hit a giant wall of money problems and frustration. I don't have a lot of pocket money and I generally feel very bad when spending money, no matter on what. But whenever I purchased a broken device, it mostly was unrepairable or just to expensive to buy spare parts. Sometimes I even knew what to do but my equipment was defective and I was unable to do anything with it or buy better one.
I just bought a broken smartwatch for 15$ only to realise that it fell into water, I don't have the stuff to clean it and it looks like it's not worth trying. I am nearly broke and I am scared to try buying anything else broken and completely waste my money. When I realise I can't fix something I mostly fall into this hole because I made that project my everything for a while.
Now I don't know what to do with my day or the watch. I could run down to the store and buy something to clean the watch with but I don't even have a charger and I don't want to leave the house. I would need to buy the charger too. Waste even more money. I don't feel like doing anything for the rest of the day, I can't get out of my bed, but I also don't want to stay in this hole. I want out but I don't know how to finally succeed.

Hello all! I've bought this Ender 3 v2 Neo about 3 months ago and never had any problems with it. since about 3/4 weeks ago it started doing the weird thing in the video where when it wants to go Home on the Y axis it's trying to go further than it can? after a couple seconds it just starts printing fine just as in the video. This morniong it happened again twice in a row except instead of printing just fine after a couple seconds it just crashed completely and did nothing until i completely switched the printer off. Now i tried using other Gcode i found online which atleast works but it still does it for a couple seconds before actually printing exactly like shown in the video. (the video linked is with using the new Gcode i found). If anyone has any clue what the problem could be or what i could try to resolve it please let me know. Also sorry for the very loud video and our birds in the background making quite some noise. ill also put the Gcode i'm using right here.
