I want to start with a little background on myself. I am a semi new multi business owner in the automotive sector and I didnt have much growing up. I worked and worked until I was confident enough to leave my salary job and start my own endeavor.
Through skill, patience, and tons of sacrifice, my first business grew exponentially and gave me enough capital to open another business doing commercial automotive contracting.
Not long after I established that, Covid came and almost wiped me out, but instead of giving up, I made sure to keep all of my staff even with little to no revenue coming in.
By doing that, My staff really kicked it into overdrive and kicked enough ass that I was able to open another location doing high performance automotive work in a very high traffic area.
That shop and the commercial shop started creating a great revenue stream as well as attracted a good amount of very high end clientele.
with my reputation starting to build, I was on the hunt for my next move and there is a local building I have always wanted that I noticed went up for rent so I stopped by one day and ended up meeting a guy who had beat me to the punch.
We had a long conversation about what his plans were with the building and he informed me that he didnt really have any, that it was his grandparents building and he is unsure of what to do.
I threw the offer "if you ever want to go into the auto business, We can potentially revamp this place together"
A month goes by and I get the call.
He agrees he would like my help and to do a 50/50 partnership. So, I bring some of my staff and we renovate the building in 10 days and I open the bank accounts, do state paperwork, ETC.
We soft opened the first week of april and through my reputation and client base, Our first month was in excess of $30k and we have a log of appointments.
Now, This is where things get hairy and I am posting in here for advice on.
This partner and I agreed that will only take profits every two weeks if we can.
The first week was so strong that he decided to pull, and this has repeated every single week since then but what makes it worse is that I have not pulled anything and he watches over the bank accounts like a hawk and any time I pay a bill, I get questioned.
I am doing 96% of the work and now to make matters worse, His grandparents (the landlords) are getting involved in the business because he is going next door (they live directly next door) and giving them access to our bank accounts and legal documents.
They have started to dislike me for absolutely no reason. Every time they come outside I am working whether it be on the building or on a vehicle, while he is sitting inside on the couch. I have several supercars that I brought over to show the neighborhood we work on them as well as a little eye candy for the main road.
I am at an impasse. We have gotten noise complaint of reckless driving through the city and 90%of them are him leaving maad for something. I went to a town hall forum last night and spoke on our behalf as we are new to the area and while all of us went, after the meeting adjourned, I spent the time to meet everyone and individually address concerns, while he stood outside with my staff. Our staff urged him to come inside and listen and be by my side but he wouldnt.
I dont know how to get out of this partnership or make it better without getting nasty.
I am looking for solid advice on what to do.
I have a huge heart and actively like to fix issues.

If anybody from Elgato views this forum, is there any roadmap for an 8 knob version of the +?
I am a potential purchaser (owner of 2 XLs) and I'm thinking 4 knobs is too few? An 8 knob version could potentially reduce visual context switching plus physical swiping by up to 50% - making for a much better user experience. It would also be more consistent with the 8 button wide form factor of my XLs
Are there any Stream Deck+ users (or potential buyers out there? What would you prefer? 4 knobs available, or 8 knobs?

I have been seeing more posts about EA chargers frying cars lately. Today I saw one in Rivian sub and a few days back in MachE forum and we are aware of these issues happening in the past as well.

I am fairly new to YouTube and this forum and have been helping my son to make a channel for his gaming. I made an intro for his videos last week and every video now has a copyright claim on it that says “copywrite-protected content found. The owner allows the content to be used on YouTube”
So it sounds like I am ok using this music on his videos, but my question is regarding monetization… probably wishful thinking but if he eventually gets the metrics to monetize, will these copywrite restrictions cause us to be rejected? I don’t mind redoing the intro with different music if that will help, but he already has 4 videos with it that I don’t want to have to delete

I need the Compliance letter from Lexus Canada, which I was told they refuse to produce going forward, to state that my car meets FMVSS DOT and US EPA standards in order to import my car hassle free, from Canada to the USA. So I thought my only option was to go through a "Registered Importer". I'm literally getting different answers from different importers and they are all negative.
My car is a 2014 Lexus IS 350 AWD F Sport pkg. made in Japan, J VIN#, has the US EPA/California Emissions sticker and the Canadian CMVSS sticker. My car also has TPMS sensors, and does display all 4 wheels individual PSI (stating this as I read things about TSPM via other forums). I bought this car brand new, original owner.
RI #1 said - "I can't help you, I only deal with cars in Mexico", as I live in South US.
RI #2 said - "Your car won't adhere to FMVSS 138, as the US requires TPMS sensors with TPMS illuminated on the dash." That the system I described to him was a "tire pressure loss warning system and not a tire pressure monitoring system, as required by USA." Plus.... "We also cannot import a personal use vehicle without a compliance letter anyways so no matter what we need that letter."
This shocked me and basically makes it sound like its impossible to do period, without the letter. And - if I can get the letter myself, why the hell would I need the RI?
Regarding TPMS, my car literally has more tire pressure features than probably 90% of cars on the road. I am confused.
I've read about this in other forums but haven't really found a solution or confirmation that anyone was able to successfully import. Can someone explain if I can do this, or do I need to sell my damn car?

5. After you leave customs, are you allowed to drive your car to the RI? For example, if I'm crossing in Detroit and going to Dallas, I can drive there right? Or do I need it towed, etc. etc.?
6. Once RI is done, what magic paperwork do they give you to say it conforms with NHTSA standards? This proof is obviously needed to 1) get bond back and 2) register the car in your state.
7. How long does it take to get bond back? A week after compliant? A month? 2 years?
8. Maybe the most important question - has anyone successfully imported their Lexus/Toyota since March 2023 - or whenever they apparently stopped issuing these letters?

For current R1S owners - do you experience porpoising and has it been subsequently fixed in software update?

I did a 1st mile at San Jose CA recently. I noticed what can only be described as porpoising when going over bumps like those at California traffic intersections. I recall some mention of Rivian having the ability to fix this via software update - has it been fixed recently?
Unfortunately I wasn't able to note the build # or software revision. The SUV still had the Meridian audio, so I don't think it was the latest build.

Last Friday, I closed on the sale of my last investment property. It’s a bittersweet memory. I am checking out of the real estate game for now.
It has been quite the ride for 13 years….started with renting out my basement at 23, at the peak I owned a 20 unit apartment building, but the dark says were when one of my rentals was occupied by one of the city’s notorious drug dealers and convicted criminals. I have learnt so much along the way and all this experience has truly shaped how I approach life and how I look at business opportunities.
For some background, I am a professional (office worker) working in completely different industry than real estate. So managing a suite of rental properties was not easy and can be quite energy consuming. It’s doable when you are single but once you have kids, and progress in a high demand career, managing rentals on the side become added work taking away the limited and valuable time and mostly energy away from your family.
So to those considering landlording, it truly is a part time job although it is a fairly a passive income stream. While you don’t spend many hours chasing the income, it has the potential to be emotionally and psychologically draining. After all, you as the owner of the property, are responsible for the hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt and liability. You as an owner are ultimately on the hook for anything that goes wrong with the property.
I am still grateful I got into real estate in my early 20s and frankly got lucky with the decent purchase prices and fairly low interest rates over the past decade. But I have chosen to exit and have used the gains from my portfolio sale to pad up my stock investment portfolio.
But now I am thinking ….what next. I have a decent stock portfolio for my age (35) but I am thinking what else to invest in. Since this is a personal finance forum, I thought I would ask what have others done who have between $250k to $500k available to invest to diversify from an investment portfolio that is in stocks and index funds…..however, residential real estate is not of interest.
I do have the credentials and ability to raise both debt and equity capital from banks and friends/family respectively. But I am creating a game plan first. Would love to hear some perspectives and what did people take as their next steps.

Hi! I hope this is an appropriate forum to ask this question. I recently bought a used Mercedes Benz coupe (2013 C-250) that was modified/lowered by its original owner. The modified wheels/rims are gorgeous but after driving it around for about a month I've realized that I'm not super comfortable with how low the suspension is. Making sharper turns and going over bumps/curbs almost always causes an issue and I'm at the point where I think I just want to get the car raised again so it's not so low to the ground. Luckily the coil/spring thingy (sorry I am not a car person lol) is adjustable and I was informed that the parts should be able to just be raised/modified again and not necessarily replaced.
I am a new Mercedes owner but I'm assuming I couldn't go to the dealership for this since it's modified so I'm kinda at a loss for where to go/who to contact to get quotes on such a service. Any advice on where to look?

But when I read about the 2011 draft of the Communal Violence Bill and learned about the 2009 Right to Education Act's inapplicability to Christian minority schools (Pramati judgement), I quickly came to the conclusion that the Congress Party and Sonia/Rahul Gandhi are part of a Vatican/Catholic Church/Christian/Western conspiracy against Hindus and Hinduism. When Sonia Gandhi married Rajiv Gandhi, the Catholic Church saw this moment as its "Constantine" moment in India, when it could try to achieve its nefarious goals by controlling the Indian National Congress. Ever wonder why INC is aligned with Christian missionaries? Who did Rahul Gandhi meet first in Bharat Jodo Yatra? A hate mongering Catholic priest named George Ponniah who spewed vile hatred against the Hindus of Tamil Nadu.

In particular, I have a deep hatred of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi who are Catholic Christians. They are evil, completely anti-Hindu, and the brainchild of laws like Right to Education Act and the 2011 draft of the Communal Violence Bill. It is painfully obvious that they are Vatican agents who have a deep hatred of Hindus and of Indians. That is why I pray for Sonia and Rahul's downfall each and every day.
Communal Violence Bill - Do all Hindus know that the Congress Party tried to pass a Communal Violence Bill in 2011 that assumed that all Hindus were guilty as default, just by being born as Hindus, while Christians & Muslims could freely attack Hindus without any consequences? Did you know that this plan involved creating a so-called "National Communal Commission" with a "minority" (read Muslim/Christian) majority that could somehow control the Indian armed forces and the police forces to bully and terrorize Hindus? Luckily the BJP under Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, along with Narendra Modi, blocked Congress from passing this anti-Hindu law. BJP and RSS successfully killed this law and then won 2014 in a landslide. Luckily since 2013, the genocidal anti-Hindu Congress Party has been destroyed in the Rajya Sabha and so can never do something like this Communal Violence Bill (CVB) again. Also, India has massive internet penetration now in 2023 compared to back then in 2013 when Congress tried to pass CVB, so if the Italian scum who rule the Congress Party try to pass CVB again they will be exposed and there will be bloody retaliation against them. Variants of the Communal Violence Bill appear in different Congress manifestos under cleverly disguised names and descriptions, but the anti-Hindu intent of the Italian scum is the same. Harsh Mander, who wrote this evil anti-Hindu law with genocidal intent, is still running free instead of being hunted down and punished.
Right to Education Act - We all know how this law discriminates against Hindus running schools while leaving Christian "minority" institutions completely exempt from its horrible requirements like 25% quota, teacher salaries (that are extremely high for no reason), infra requirements like playgrounds etc. Hindus need linguistic minority status or Jain minority status just to escape RTE on their school. This law is so evil and no other country in the world has laws that discriminate against their majority community in education. How dare a Catholic padre who is a filthy pedophile has more rights than a Hindu to run a school without government interference? This was the brainchild of Vatican agent and Catholic terrorist Sonia. People like @ realitycheckind on Twitter have been screaming about RTE since 2014.
Nowadays, wealthy Hindus get around RTE by running linguistic minority or Jain minority schools. In Maharashtra, for instance, the vast majority of Hindu schools owned by politicians or big businessmen switched to linguistic minority status (Hindi/Gujarati/Kannada/Sindhi/Marwadi/Punjabi/Malayalam) or to Jain/Buddhist minority status. For instance, you'll notice that Ambani school in Mumbai is a Gujarati linguistic minority institution, or that Lodha school school in Mumbai is Jain minority, or that Birla school is Marwadi linguistic minority, or that Walsingham school owned by the Mittal family is Hindi linguistic minority. If the top 1% can kill RTE in their schools, why should a mom-pop Hindu family running a school be forced to take in RTE quota freeloaders?
Given how hard it is to politically undo reservation-type laws, the solution to kill the Right to Education Act across the whole of India is to make all Hindu schools across India into Jain minority institutions on paper, throwing out the 25% RTE quota freeloaders who should be kicked out of non-minority private schools. Simply put, nobody has the right to "free" private school education, just because you are part of a particular caste (SC/ST) or community. RTE is also a tool to infiltrate Muslim kids into Hindu owned private schools to achieve the so-called "secularism" that leftists want. If you run a Jain minority institute for instance, you can avoid such "secularism" and "diversity" in your student body and can screen out certain types of students.
This law was so evil and was the reason why so many communities like the Lingayats etc want minority status. Because no other country in the world has laws that make it easier for "minorities" to run schools compared to the majority community. The Jains wanted minority status and got it from the Congress Party in 2014, solely to protect their private schools and colleges from the evil reservation laws that we have and the 93rd constitutional amendment. Nowadays, all wealthy Hindus/corporate India are running Jain minority schools and colleges in the private sector free from any type of caste based reservation. In the future, you will see a movement run by Upper Caste Hindus against reservation in private educational institutions. Pratap Bhanu Mehta (who is really a Jain) knew of the 93rd amendment back in 2005 and successfully got the Jain minority status from the Congress Party. I've seen really top-notch private schools that have linguistic/Jain minority status and are safe from RTE.
Despite this law there, RSS appointees like Priyank Kanoongoo (head of NCPCR - national child rights commission) continue to try to "enforce" RTE on hapless Hindu owned non-minority schools. I have no idea why RSS doesn't have a problem with RTE. If Mr. Modi himself wanted to end RTE, I could guarantee you that this whole "program" would have been shut down on Day 1.
Why should a Hindu school owner be forced to admit 25% "free" education, while a similar school run by a Christian does not have to do so? Is this secularism? If it isn't secular, why aren't Hindus coming on the roads, demanding RTE to be imposed on the schools that those Catholic rapists run?

Ran away from a Hindu majority parliamentary constituency to go to a "secular" Wayanad where Abrahamics (Muslims + Christians) are over 60% of the population, knowing that Hindus would punish him electorally.
Sonia Gandhi - Italian Catholic Christian, whose real name is ANTONIO MAINO. How on Earth did the largest opposition party (Indian National Congress) get taken by an Italian Christian woman and a Vatican stooge?
Malikharjun Kharge - Buddhist Ambedkarite Dalit. Also has a hatred for Hindu Dharma, even when Hinduism and Buddhism are both Indian/Indic faiths in our civilization that are mutually compatible with each other. Hindus don't have any problem with Buddhism or Buddhists and even see Buddhism as an "improved" or "enlightened" version of Hinduism, yet the radical Ambedkarite ideology tries to instigate Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes from other Hindu castes when all Hindus across our country are equal and together. Hindus don't have a problem with anybody embracing Buddhism.
Manmohan Singh - Sikh who was the first non-Hindu Prime Minister of India. Under Mr. Manmohan Singh's tenure, the Congress Party tried to pass the Communal Violence Bill (2011 draft) which distinguished between "minorities" and Hindus in criminal law but was luckily blocked by the BJP who killed it. Now Sonia Gandhi could have chosen a Hindu in her Congress Party as the Prime Minister when Congress won in 2004 and 2009. But she deliberately chose a non-Hindu to implement her radical Hindu-hating agenda. A titular figurehead whose daughter was found working for George Soros and who has a Hindu hating agenda as well.
Others - Ambika Soni who is a Christian, Kapil Sibal who also seems to be a Christian and so forth.
It is painfully clear that Congress Party has an agenda against Hindus and Hinduism and that their national leaders are anti-Hindu. So, why does Congress still win in some state elections?
Himachal Pradesh - was very close in 2022. Also, the Congress Party in Himachal Pradesh seems to be led by people who are Hindus. Never saw Hinduphobia YET in Himachal by Himachal Congress.
Chhattisgarh - Suspect that there is a massive conversion of tribals to Christianity, particularly in forests. Would be very dangerous if Baghel wins a 2nd term.
Karnataka - BJP government in Karnataka was corrupt and had poor leaders, with massive anti-incumbency with a 36% vs 43% vote differential. Also, the Kharge factor was there and many Hindu Dalits who would have voted for BJP voted for Cong just because of Kharge's Ambedkarite credentials. If the Congress unit in Karnataka supports Christian missionaries or Muslim terrorist organizations like PFI, it's up to the BJP government at the center to act.
Rajasthan - anti-incumbency in 2018. BJP should win Rajasthan very easily in 2023.
I don't think BJP is favored to win Chhattisgarh but I don't want Congress to ever have more than 3 states (Himachal, Karnataka, Chhatisgarh) by the end of 2023.

The "Idea of India" people want a world in which Christian schools are exempt from RTE, while Hindu schools suffer RTE; a world where Hindus suffer from a so-called Communal Violence Bill while minorities (Muslims + Christians) terrorize Hindus.
Does this "Idea of India" appeal to you? If you forcefully try to impose Christian or Muslim supremacy on a country with over a billion Hindus, we will retaliate and we will destroy you. N3XT is a new code base that is looking to do something that has not been done in a decade. It will be a code that you can fully control without needing to know how to code. This source code will allow for ultimate customization and loads of features that will be able to be adjusted and set right in the admin panel. The thing about a lot of codes right now, is there are very few options for codes that have been kept up to date, and functional and safe, unless you are a decent coder, even setting up some of the older codes can be a pain, and then to bring things up to be secure and fix exploits, well that is its own struggle. So here at N3XT, we are making this code in a way that if you visit a dozen sites runnning it, they can all look VERY different and can be done with out ever editing HTML or any hardcoode for that matter.
Built on NODE JS, this code is a one of a kind. It was built from the floor up. Looking in to the other major codes, things that have been done like the announce systems, the way it browses the database for torrents, N3XT rewrote the rules for all of these things. The code was written from a blank slate, and what we did, was looked at how ther codes did things, and most of the basic functions, are all done the same way, but our coder, thru a lot of trial and error, wrote thoes functions in a way that is more efficent and faster, requireing less resources which will be huge with larger sites, and alllow the same performance on lesser servers, saving the site owner money with out giving up any performance. Every feature and function was written from scratch, and some features that you see across other coes, we rewrote to do what they do as best as they can. so many of the simple features you have known to love from other codes, were written to be as efficent and functional as possiable with some small tweaks in some cases, and full redesignes in others. The Node Js Lanuage allowed us to do things very fast and efficent, and even under high load stress testing the results were amazing. All of this info will be released in the next few days and the offical N3XT forum site will be up soon.

Some of the current features are as follows.

Graveyard: Where torrents with no seeds after X amnt of days will end up . Has ability to have EXTRA hourly BP awarded to the reviver of all graveyard torrents until they stop seeding past the threashold time set by owner. Also shows how many peers are on the dead torrents, so if you need a ratio bump, you can view the graveyard and reseed torrents that have peers active and waiting for a seed, earning you upload instantly.

REESEED REQUEST: its own page, reseed requests not only send a msg to the uploader and all who compleated downloading that torrent, but you have the option to add a BP bounty to something , to add more BP to things others have initally requested to be reseeded, and that are put in their own page people can view, showing the total BP reward bounty, active peers waiting for a seed, and the extra BP hourly awarded for not just seeding that torrent, but for the graveyard seed bonus. another great way to earn BP and upload credit.

CASINO: Just like all good tracker codes, there is a place to play some games and bet some BP. We are working on real time gaming, where you and others, in real time, can play poker and black jack and a lod of other games or play slow and longer gammes where you can play with friends or other users, and when they log on they make the next move, and then its back to you when ever you get on. We are looking toward making another currency in the casino which will allow yoou to buy things in a seperate store, but this will be an option the site owner can turn on or off, and just allow BP to be used as it is on most other sites.

TORRENT RESULTS PAGE: With the flip of a switch, you can have the common result page, like on most codes, OR you may be able to use a grouping system similar to that on gazelle. Customization is huge for us here at N3XT. We want all sites running this code to be able to be as different as they can be with out needing to be a coder to do the hardcode changes.

PLUGIN SYSTEM: We will ahve a plugin system and a library for extra features that uusers can download and load with a couple mouse clicks, and share with other uses if they want. This will allow you to easily build your OWN features if you know how or have the want to customize even further.

FULL UI CONTROL: The admin panel will haave controles for all active features on the code, and allow you to makke any and all changes you would need, right on the site itself, making any hard code tr HTML changes not needed. This will allow anybody to be able to run and set up a tracker with ease while not limiting what can be done.

WIKI: In one of the early updates we will have a wiki page where anybody can enter and build upon wiki entries about terms associated with the tracker community. A lot of users do not like to be made to feel dumb asking things like " What is the difference from H265 nad x265?" so now there will be a wiki on your site where these things can be their own entires to show the difference and explaine these keywords.

UPDATE SYSTEM: When a new version of N3XT comes out, you will simple press a button in the admin panel, and this will do the update for you. no more having to backup the whole site, lose all your custom changes and so on when upgrading to the newer versions of the coode!

STAFF CATAGORIES: Having the ability for the staff or owner or what ever rank has the ermissions to do so, you can make sub catagories that torrents can be places in like "PLEX PICKS" For large movie packs that would be great for someone making a plex server at home, or " RETRO GAMES" Where you can tag all retro rom and emulator torrents and users can view all these created groups, and see the torrents that have been added in to them, with out effecting the catagories that the torrents were originally put in.

CUSTOM BUILT UPLOAD BOT: Our team has built an upload bot that gets all its own info, so it can pull automaticly or manuallly from ANY tracker and provide, screenshots, mediainfo, info on the show or movies from one of 4 databases, dupe checks, multiple tracker uploads at the same time, lite on your linux distro, runs in docker so you can havve multiple instances on one machine, and more. it is activly being updated and will do all you need it to do no matter what was posted in the original upload you grab the end result on your site will be uniform and perfect to your tastes!
HELP DESK: New help desk system in place for users to post about questions or issues with different levels of importance for the staff to be able to address issues one on one with users or the site in general.

USER SHOUT BOX CONTROLS: Users can now select if they want the new shouts to come in from the top or the bottom of the shout box as per user.

Many more of these types of adjustments will be added to allow the users to customize their view of the site, show the torrent results in a gazelle type grouping system, or a standard torrent result list and many many others to make the user experence 100% adjustable for how THEY want to see the tracker.
While these are just a few of the features we have implemented, we have a list of many more coming in the first updates, and for many updates to come. This code was built with a few things in mind. Customization, Ease of use, Health of the tracker running it, and fun for everybody using it, staff and users!

On June 6th, our team is releasing the next update for Company of Heroes 3, Brass Leopard (1.1.5), which focuses on quality-of-life improvements, gameplay changes, bug fixes and more. We showed a sneak preview of this mid-sized update in one of our last developer livestreams. You can check it out here. This will be a high-level overview of everything coming in Brass Leopard, with more detailed patch notes releasing tomorrow.

NEW CONTENT
Brass Leopard will include the new 3vs3 map Catania Crossing, which is very reminiscent of The Scheldt from the original Company of Heroes.

• This map will be available in Co-Op Automatch, singleplayer Skirmish, or via Custom Games.
• This map will not be coming to Player vs Player Automatch.

Catania Crossing, though more Co-Op focused, was a map we worked on earlier in development and was already near completion. Since it was now ready, we decided to make it available to players to offer more variety as soon as possible. It was designed as a cooperative map for more social experiences, and not necessarily for the highest levels of competitive play. As such, we felt it best to leave it out of PvP automatch.
We know our PvP fans are eager to see more maps in the automatch pool, and we’re happy to say that the next update will bring two new maps to all modes. One is a 3vs3 and the other is a 4vs4. We hope to have more news on those soon.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
All plane and loiter abilities have been overhauled, thanks in no small part to DevM (Miguel M). There are too many changes to cover here, but in summary, planes should look, feel and respond better, while maintaining the immersion we want players to experience in-game. Be sure to review the upcoming Brass Leopard patch notes for all the granular details.
Here’s a preview:

• Plane timings have been standardized
• Animations are more realistic
• Crashes and debris have more impact
• Terrain deformation from bombs & bombing runs is better
• Projectiles are faster and more accurate
• Paradrops are now invincible
• Units acquired with a Mark Target ability now have an indicator
• Loiters now display a ground indicator for their area-of-effect

QUALITY-OF-LIFE IMPROVEMENTS
We’ve introduced several quality-of-life improvements based on our Development Priorities map and the feedback we’ve been seeing from players.
Event Cues
Event cues have been updated to be more player-friendly and less intrusive with their on-screen real estate. They have also had their priority adjusted so that less important cues won’t override more critical ones. Additionally, event cue boxes will now allow players to click and select units behind them.
Player Names, UI & Team Colors
Units will now display the player name of their owner in the unit card. As in past CoH games, you can now bind a hotkey to toggle player names displayed under unit decorators. Player names under unit decorators can now be toggled on or off for the first time in the series – you can find this in the Settings menu.
We’ve also done a lot of work to unify how team colors and unique player colors work throughout the game. These will now apply to player names and unit health bars on the unit card. Territory flag and capture UI will now use team colors over unique colors to reduce confusion.
Players will no longer be able to instantly tell which Battlegroup other players have selected by checking the Player List. This will now display all the Battlegroups in each player’s loadout.
Camera Zoom
Based on player feedback, we’ve made some adjustments to the camera height while in a match. When you begin, the camera height will still default to its current position, however using the mouse scroll wheel, you can now zoom out an additional 5 meters. We feel this is a happy medium to give players some added flexibility while still ensuring the game feels like Company of Heroes.
Stability
Our team has done some work to help remove frustration that arises when a player desyncs from a match. Desyncs will now only disconnect the player that caused it, instead of ending the game for everyone in the same match. This should help with match and game stability across the board and alleviate griefing from players that purposefully force desyncs.
AUDIO
Several audio fixes and changes have gone into Brass Leopard. Many weapon and vehicle effects have been corrected or improved, such as the US Forces M1919 Browning, Sherman tank, and the Axis Flak36. The team continues to work to improve on the audio mix overall. We’ve also updated several intel announcements to ensure players are receiving the information they need during the most critical parts of a game.
MODDING TOOLS
This update will also include a small number of fixes to the modding tools to help reduce some pain points for our modders. Most notably, we are also introducing “ability achetypes” which are templates that can be cloned to easily create variations using custom properties. In plain English, this is a state tree workaround. We will include more details in the patch notes, but we hope these changes will empower our modders to create more complex and fun mods for players to check out in the near future.
BUG FIXES
One of our primary goals right now is to improve the overall quality of the CoH3 experience for all our players. That means we aim to bring as many bug fixes as possible in each update, and Brass Leopard is no exception. We have several fixes coming for maps, gameplay, art, audio and more to help bolster the game. Additionally, both the Dynamic Italian Campaign and the North African Operation will be getting several bug fixes for our singleplayer fans. You can find the line-by-line details and all the other bug fixes in our patch notes tomorrow.
