Consider certifications such as Yoga Alliance RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) or advanced level certifications. These indicate that the instructors have met specific standards and have undergone extensive training.
  • Teaching Experience:
Consider the teaching experience of the yoga instructors. Experienced instructors have had the opportunity to refine their teaching skills, adapt to different student needs, and provide effective guidance.
  • Specializations and Expertise:
Determine if the yoga instructors have specific specializations or expertise in certain yoga styles or areas of focus. If you have a particular interest or goal, choosing an instructor with expertise in that area can greatly enhance your learning and practice.
  • Reputation and Reviews:
Research the reputation of the yoga instructors and the yoga schools they are associated with. Read reviews and testimonials from past students to get insights into their teaching style, communication, and overall experience. Positive feedback and recommendations from others can give you confidence in their abilities as instructors.
  • Personal Compatibility:
Consider your personal compatibility with the yoga instructors. Attend their classes or workshops if possible, or watch their instructional videos online, to get a sense of their teaching style and personality. It’s important to feel comfortable, inspired, and connected to the instructor, as this can greatly enhance your learning and motivation.
  • Connection and Communication:
Look for instructors who are attentive, approachable, and responsive to student needs. They should be able to provide clear instructions, offer modifications or adjustments when necessary, and be open to answering questions and providing guidance. Effective communication and a positive connection with the instructor can create a supportive learning environment.
  • Recommendations and Referrals:
Seek recommendations from fellow yoga practitioners, friends, or trusted sources who have previously attended yoga training in Goa. They can provide valuable insights and refer you to experienced instructors they have had positive experiences with.
  • Alignment with Your Goals and Values:
Consider how well the teaching style and approach of the instructors align with your personal goals, values, and aspirations in yoga. Reflect on what you hope to achieve from your yoga training in Goa and choose instructors who can support and guide you in that direction.

Luke is one of my favorite artists of all time! My boyfriend and I bought tickets, separately, for the new added show in Tampa on July 7th. We’re looking to sell one of the pairs as we won’t use them. They are floor seats (Section B) 5th row. I will provide proof of purchase to anyone interested and will do a mobile transfer.
Selling them for the exact amount he bought them for. Not looking to make money. Just trying to get the money back. Picture of what I paid is attached.

2023.06.09 18:31 BrightEstablishment I honestly just need some sense talked into me

I honestly just need some sense talked into me
Long story short, I blew my budget last year after a parent suddenly got sick/became physically disabled.
Since then, after moving from the place I'd come to call home as an adult in one day, I'd been navigating suddenly becoming a caregiver at 43, purchasing a vehicle on a whim as I'd moved to a place where I needed a car (hadn't owned one in a decade) and have just basically been thrown into a bit of a new life.
I 'let my finances go' and have not been tracking things. Just spending money. "New" used car payment. Mom medical bills. Mom nursing home supplies. Eating out because I've been coping with food for a year straight. Tons of clothes because I'm 5'2" and suddenly have now gained almost 30 lbs in less than 6 months. More therapy visits than ever. You get the picture.
I sat down yesterday and recreated my budget. I feel like I've lost my 'budgeting mojo' or something...it's hard to explain. I know this budget doesn't make any sense because there is still too much spending in areas where I should really be trying to instead divert funds to credit card debt. With that said, I just need some 'push'. Some motivation. Some 'real talk' on where I really need to 'wake up', 'get real' and 'cut things out' if I really want to "get back into the coastfire groove". So I'm sharing my budget below. Ask away, comment away..and feel free to be blunt (but not 'too' blunt please; I'm still in a bit of a sensitive space these days lol).
Of note:
-Main goal is to lower this budget by $750-1000 so I can pay off $18k in credit card debt off faster. (I've been cc debt free for ~20 yrs but this past year has just been messy.) I've already cut out therapy completely and my one hobby which was travel.
-401k contributions are excluded (I'm maxing that account fyi) - should I cancel these contributions to pay off the debt faster?
-My mom is in a pretty horrific nursing home now and I'd really like to try to keep her weekly caregiver visits (an agency comes and takes her out once a week and it is realllllly valuable to her). Would like to keep something for the restaurants category as meals out are my 'outings' with my mom and what she usually requests to do when I take her out from her facility. I also enjoy eating out as almost my 'hobby' now that I have both moved to a place with little things I enjoy doing plus I now no longer travel.
-I'm cleaning my mom's storage unit out this year so that expense will drop off late 2023 (October?).
-I really do want to get rid of my car note. I don't know how to handle this. Before I moved I was paying $300 monthly for auto expenses (I walked everywhere so those were my ridesharing costs as I didn't own a car). Now you can see my auto related costs are over triple that. Anyone with experience with experience selling a financed vehicle? I could use my 2024 bonus to just buy another car outright for ~$10k fyi.
Here goes nothing (yikes):

Vancouver, Canada – Tinka Resources Limited ("Tinka" or the "Company") (TSXV & BVL: TK) (OTCQB: TKRFF) is pleased to announce results for five recent drill holes from the Ayawilca Project and to provide an update on the Company’s exploration activities. All five drill holes were resource confirmation holes from West Ayawilca, and all intersected strong zinc mineralization. The Company has now successfully completed its 11,000-metre drill program at Ayawilca which commenced midway through 2022. Two drill rigs were demobilized during May 2023 and independent mining consultants have now been engaged to complete an updated mineral resource estimate.
The 2022-23 drill program has significantly improved the geological model of the mineralized zinc bodies at West and South Ayawilca and improved the confidence in the continuity of mineralization. One exploration hole at South Ayawilca has results pending. The next steps for the project include an updated resource estimate to be announced during Q3 2023 and the continuation of low impact exploration.
Key Highlights – Drill hole results from West Ayawilca:

Hole A22-214
  • 13.1 metres at 3.7% zinc from 243.9 metres depth
True thicknesses of these intercepts are estimated to be at least 75% of the downhole thicknesses.
Dr. Graham Carman, Tinka’s President and CEO, stated: "The 2022-23 drill program has been one of the most successful drill programs since Tinka began exploring at Ayawilca. The latest results highlight the quality of the zinc mineralization at Ayawilca in terms of both grade and thickness and provide strong confidence in the geological resource."
"We have confirmed at West Ayawilca that two pipe-like sulphide bodies hosted by brecciated limestones extend through the 100-200-metre-thick limestones and are connected by massive sulphides at the base. At South Ayawilca, very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is concentrated in a folded limestone at shallower depth - this discovery has the potential to be a ‘starter mine’ which could provide early payback."
"Our contention that Ayawilca is one of the best zinc exploration and development projects in the Americas has been reinforced by the recent drill program. I wish to thank our staff, our stakeholders at the project and our drilling contractor for their hard work which has enabled this drill program to be successfully completed. We now look forward to the mineral resource update for the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and Tin Zone deposits, which will be released during Q3 2023. In the meantime, low impact exploration is continuing at Ayawilca and at our nearby Silvia copper-gold project."
Discussion - Geology of the Zinc Zone Deposits at Ayawilca
A total of 11,115 metres were drilled in 33 holes at Ayawilca during the 2022-23 drill program (see Figure 1). Around 90% of the drill holes were focused at West and South Ayawilca for resource confirmation and definition purposes. Two holes were also drilled at Central Ayawilca for the dual purposes of exploration and a hydrological study.
The 2022-23 drill program has considerably improved our understanding of the geology of the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and improved the confidence in the geometry of the mineralized bodies at West and South. Two of the most important conclusions from the drilling include:
  1. At West Ayawilca, two pipe-like zinc sulphide bodies hosted by brecciated limestones extend through the 100- to 200-metre-thick limestone sequence along a northwest-southeast trend and are connected by massive sulphide mineralization at the base of the limestone;
  2. At South Ayawilca, very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is concentrated within a tightly folded limestone at relatively shallow depth - this discovery has the potential to be a ‘starter mine’ which could provide early payback of capital.
West Ayawilca
The footprint of the zinc mineralization hosted by limestones at West Ayawilca covers an area of approximately 700 metres by 300 metres projected to surface (see Figure 1). Drilling in 2022-23 focused on defining the geometry of two pipe-like breccia bodies which host continuous, semi-massive sulphide (SMS) mineralization within the limestone. The breccia bodies have surface dimensions of between 100 to 200 metres and are elongated along a northwest-southeast direction. Zinc mineralization extends over a vertical thickness of between 100 to 150 metres through the entire brecciated limestone sequence up to the overlying sandstones. The breccia bodies are connected by massive sulphide (MS) zinc mineralization at the base of the limestone.
Zinc sulphide (as sphalerite) is the dominant economic mineralization. Silver and lead (as silver sulphosalts and galena) is typically more common around the edges of the zinc bodies and in carbonate-rich veins. Iron sulphides are common including pyrite, marcasite, and pyrrhotite. Carbonate (siderite, an Fe-rich variety) is the dominant gangue mineral.
The new interpretation of the geology at West Ayawilca is the result of a redesigned drill program in 2022-23 which targeted the northwest-southeast trend rather than the late-stage east-west trending veins which outcrop. All 13 holes at West Ayawilca in the 2022-23 program were drilled on an east-west orientation (mostly angled to the west) in contrast to previous holes which were mostly orientated north-south. The improvement in vertical continuity of the mineralization is positive for the project, as it will likely lead to more cost-effective mining with less dilution.
The brecciation of the limestones is interpreted to have occurred as result of karst dissolution and collapse of the limestones, possibly during the early stages of hydrothermal activity. The mineralization is focused within the hinge of a major anticline fold immediately adjacent to the Colquipucro Fault (see cross sections, Figure 2). A longitudinal section showing the geometry of the zinc mineralization along the northwest-southeast trend is shown in Figure 3.
Photographs of the typical massive sulphide zinc mineralization and the semi-massive sulphide breccia mineralization at West Ayawilca is shown in Figure 4.
South Ayawilca
The highest-grade area of zinc mineralization at the project is located at South Ayawilca. Massive sulphide (MS) mineralization has been identified over an area (projected to surface) of approximately 400 metres by 200 metres elongated in a northeast-southwest direction (see Figures 1 and 3). Very high-grade massive sulphide zinc mineralization is focused in the hinge zone of an anticline fold structure. Drill results including cross sections from South Ayawilca can be reviewed in the following disclosures – see news release January 9th 2023; and news release March 6th 2023.
Update on Exploration Activities at Ayawilca
Tinka’s geologists have recently sampled manganese-altered outcrops at Ayawilca which are interpreted to be surface expressions of the Silver Zone discovery (see news release May 2nd 2023). The results of this sampling, together with the final drill hole at South Ayawilca, will be announced as soon as assays become available and interpreted.
Other news: Tinka recently received approval for the extension of the environmental permit (EIAsd) at Ayawilca for a period of three more years until May 2026. The modified and extended EIAsd has combined the two previous individual permits at Ayawilca and Colquipucro into one large permit which also incorporates several undrilled exploration targets as well as potential future mine components. The successful approval of the EIAsd is an important milestone for the project, as it will allow the Company to continue with its exploration and development plans into the medium term.

* Hole A23-219 at Central Ayawilca was primarily a hydrological hole drilled for the purposes of understanding the underground aquifer. This hole intersected minor zinc and tin mineralization, which will be incorporated into the updated resource estimate.
Note on sampling and assaying Drill holes are diamond HQ size core holes with recoveries generally above 80% and often close to 100%. The drill core is marked up, logged, and photographed on site. The cores are cut in half at the Company’s core storage facility, with half-cores stored as a future reference. Half-core was bagged on average over 1 to 2 metre composite intervals and sent to SGS laboratory in Lima for assay in batches. Standards and blanks were inserted by Tinka into each batch prior to departure from the core storage facilities. At the laboratory samples are dried, crushed to 100% passing 2mm, then 500 grams pulverized for multi-element analysis by ICPMS using multi-acid digestion. Samples assaying over 1% zinc, lead, or copper and over 100 g/t silver were re-assayed using precise ore-grade AAS techniques. Samples within massive sulphide zones were also assayed for tin using fusion and AAS finish.

Hole A23-216
  • 97.9 metres at 8.8% zinc and 16 g/t silver from 197.90 metres depth, including
    • 35.8 metres at 19.0% zinc and 35 g/t silver from 260.0 metres depth, including
      • 13.5 metres at 25.3% zinc and 44 g/t silver from 265.5 metres depth.
Hole A23-217
  • 71.9 metres at 5.5% zinc and 8 g/t silver from 186.1 metres depth, including
    • 45.8 metres at 6.4% zinc and 10 g/t silver from 210.4 metres depth, including
      • 4.85 metres at 15.2% zinc and 23 g/t silver from 210.4 metres depth.
Hole A23-213
  • 30.4 metres at 6.0% zinc from 180.0 metres depth, including
    • 1.2 metres at 37.2% zinc from 207.3 metres depth, and
  • 30.5 metres at 5.1% zinc from 260.0 metres depth.
Hole A22-211
  • 38.15 metres at 6.3% zinc, 1.1% lead and 28 g/t silver from 151.0 metres depth, including
    • 6.6 metres at 9.2% zinc, 5.2% lead and 81 g/t silver from 182.55 metres depth.
  1. At West Ayawilca, two pipe-like zinc sulphide bodies hosted by brecciated limestones extend through the 100- to 200-metre-thick limestone sequence along a northwest-southeast trend and are connected by massive sulphide mineralization at the base of the limestone;

2023.06.09 18:18 b4dr0b0t0 Space Exploration: CME Imminent, grossly underprepared

After my first 38-hr Vanilla rocket launch, I restarted a new SE game with the recommended mods and I've been having a blast figuring things out again, but I feel like my progress is VERY slow. At I'm at 42 hours now I've just finished up chemical science, and the imminent CME is starting to scare me... I don't have any rocket science done, not even a launch pad set up yet... I've been distracted laying out my city blocks, paving EVERYTHING 😅, and more recently boosting power, defense, rebalancing belts, and optimizing my initial resource patch mining/smelting layout for far too long. With the CME only 6 hours away right now I'm thinking why even bother setting up for launching my initial satellite rocket launch if it's all just gonna get destroyed or heavily damaged?
Maybe it would be smarter to pack up my expensive buildings and accumulated resources into hardened warehouses? Can those big storage structures survive a hit from the beam or would they be destroyed with the resources inside?
Or should I just power through and hope the damage is survivable/minimal? There is no way I'm going to launch rockets and get enough science done for the 'umbrella' (idk much about it, just saw it mentioned in a post) before the CME strikes.
I'm a bit worried that if the damage is too great I won't be able to recover. I'm starving for iron already and haven't secured any additional patches. My stone is running out (stupid landfill 😅) and my coal is starting to thin too, so the fear is that I won't have the resources to rebuild properly.
I guess in short, how bad am I going to be punished by the 48 hr CME? 🙀

2023.06.09 18:16 Hot-Attorney-4542 Any thoughts on car rides? Sorry so long, trying to help my kiddo thru this

Hey folks. So, my 11 year old had 2, possibly 3, seizures when she was 2. She was home, napping and her Dad went to get her for dinner and caught her just in time. She then had at least 1 more on the way to the hospital and possibly another at the hospital. (I was driving home from work when it happened, no idea until I got home and the neighbors told me about 911). Something happened, most likely some meds they gave her too much of, she was paralyzed on her left side for more than 48 hours. Then we left the sh!tty hospital and she was taken to a children's hospital. Did allllll the tests, kept her for about a week, everything was fine. It ended up that she had a febrile seizure, her body temp got hella high and that induced it. The other 2, not so sure about. (This was in FL, we live in MT now with waaaaaay better docs and facilities). Anywho, put her on Keppra for 1.5 years. Nothing ever happened, neuro said all is well, take her off. Perfectly fine, no issues, no sickness, nothing. That was 2013. Now, here we are(were)in 2022, she has a cold. No fever at all. So, we're literally driving to the Dr, she falls asleep. No biggie, happens right? Well she was startled awake I guess and immediately had a seizure. 911 comes and it takes soooooooo long to get it to stop and safely move her. Less than 24 hours later, like it never happened. New Drs, New meds, same tests, still not a clue wtf is happening. That was Feb. In May 2022, went on field trip at school, totally fine. On the way back, falls asleep and again, wakes up in a seizure. School calls 911, she's like an hour away from me, so I head that way. By the time I get there, like it never happened again. She also occasionally has these weird "absence seizures", that will freak you OUT.
Anywho, the car riding thing. If she's too long in a car, she may or may not throw up in the car, but when she gets home, she's exhausted and nauseous for a few hours. I am absolutely TERRIFIED of just taking her grocery shopping!!!
Are there any ways I could help with that? I mean, she HAS to be able to travel and leave the house, right? Maybe some Dramamine for car sickness? After 2015, she would get car sick really easily, but 2017, just stopped. She's 11 and has no other issues, barely even has a cold. I just wanna be able to help my baby girl bcuz I know this is so hard for her. Any tips or suggestions (other than talk to the Dr bcuz DUH, but he's in another city so not easy to do) on car sickness would be fantastic! We always keep puke bags and water for her, just in case.

2023.06.09 18:15 Vinylr3vival Thoughts on my waste management service for public/private sector?

I have an MVP device/service that will track and monitor garbage bins weight and emptying frequency in order to provide the end user with insights into how garbage is affecting their business. I can see this being applied to 2 sectors - public (or government) and private (manufacturing mostly)
Public - currently public waste bins (in my country) are mostly collected on a set schedule/route. What this usually ends up in, is several areas that are much more high traffic not getting serviced as often as they should, which causes a huge amount of excess litter, and just a really gross feeling for the town. This could be parks, main streets, subways, bus stops etc.
My "vision" is for my device to track which areas need servicing before they reach a point that would cause all this litter, and create an efficient schedule for next day pick up. It would also give the city a bit more information about the activity in the area, possibly helping make decisions in other areas.
For the private sector, currently waste is for the most part just a cost of doing business, but I think it could be utilized and minimized with a little more thought.
By monitoring the weight and emptying cycles of different waste bins throughout a facility (would likely have to be quite a large facility) Management can see over time if some areas are producing more waste than normal, I.E if a new part is introduced and its waste output doubles - thats a pretty big red flag. If a process is continually having defects from up the line and throwing out product, seeing a spike in the amount of waste product produced could be a great indicator that something is wrong. There are many other use cases and benefits but I'll stop the wall of text here.
Any thoughts or ideas? Does this project sound like it has legs? Or am I trying to solve a problem nobody cares about?
I would like to talk to potential customers but getting in contact with manufacturing or purchasing departments with these 2 kinds of customers is proving difficult.

2023.06.09 18:06 dnunn12 Putting boat in storage daily

I live in a lakefront community. All of the dock slips are taken (and pretty expensive). I am thinking of getting a boat and storing it in a nearby storage facility. This would mean I am taking it out of storage and putting it back in every time I want to take it out on the water. Is this feasible?
