OK, so, this isn't a true mod question. But I don't know where I could ask this.
So a little while back I bought a GameCube from a flea market. Risky, yes, but it was worth it for 50 bucks. The system worked just fine. I didn't immediately see any issues. Not till I had to slowly cross a small space and kept falling.
I set the controller down and saw that their was some drift. I thought it might have been an issue with the controller. Old hardware and all that. But no. I tried multiple controllers, in all the different ports. All the same issue. The ports are causing drift.
My question is, is there a way to fix this? I'd hate to have to buy another GameCube at a higher price just to relive my childhood.

I currently am working with one of my newfound best friends, I love her very much but I feel like she’s gone a little boy crazy. I have this guy friends who I’ve been friends with for a while. I told him to join me at my job since I thought it would be fun, and a good opportunity to get closer. Well my girl friend has had a history of crushing and hitting on coworkers, she’s even been through a bunch of relationships and dating phases within the past few weeks. When I first talked about him to her, I asked her to NOT date my guy friend. Mainly since I thought it would be awkward when they break up (which has happened with every other relationship), I feel like every guy I am close to or create a bond with she has a sudden interest in them, and she can be very on and off with people/get bored and set her eyes in someone else type deal. Every-time she dates my friend, they’re no longer my friend.. just the guy she’s dating/has a thing foher ex. I love her very much and I really love my guy friend too, i just can’t stand the thought of them hurting each other. What’s worse is that she didn’t even tell me that they started hanging out. The fact that she was keeping it a secret from me until after it happened. The fact that she still entertained the idea and was wanting to make a move. It makes me angry and upset. I told her that too. I also told her that the relationship itself makes me upset. I told her that I love her and my guy friend, i just don’t think it would last. Nonetheless, I still wished them the best. She claims that he makes her really happy but I don’t know how true that is.

I was reading through the Occultist v1.3.2 section on Witch Hexes & Curses, but I'm a little confused about the wording of Upcasting Curses. The text is exactly the same as the one in Bestow Curse which is a 3rd level spell. Upcasting other 3rd level curses is easy to understand, but does the text as written directly apply to the 1st and 5th curses and hexes in the section?
For instance, the Enfeebling Hex is a 5th level spell. Following the upcasting rules it would by default have a duration of 8 hours and wouldn't require concentration. I imagine this isn't as intended and instead the upcasting should be relative to the original level of the spell. Upcasting Enfeebling Hex with a level 7 spell slot would instead grant those aspects and you would never be able to obtain a permanent Enfeebling Hex since there is no level 11 spell slot.
However, that also mean upcasting Rotting Curse with a level 3 spell slot would grant an 8 hour duration and no concentration. That seems awfully powerful for a 3rd level spell slot and makes the Master of Curses feature redundant.
Just wanted to make sure there isn't something obvious I'm missing from the rules.

Sorry, I would like to know a little about how Mouse guard releases and releases work. I state that I'm Italian, and here the Mouse Guard comics arrive months late, and it's not even easy to gather information.
I read the first "trilogy" of mouse guard, then I found out about the mouse guard trilogy legends of the guard, but from what I understand it is not written by the same author, and also I also read reviews that are not exactly positive, so I decided to skip it. I later found out about the release of Mouse Guard: The Owlhen Caregiver... but it's only 48 pages, and the description says it contains 3 stories... 3 stories in 48 pages when for example mouse guard: black ax has 216 pages . how does it work?

He who is saved from the guilt of sin, is also saved from the power of sin. Man by nature is "under sin." "The whole world lies in wickedness." Sin like a tyrant, has usurped authority, and man yields to its imperious demands. Sin reigns in his heart, and over every faculty he possesses. He knows nothing of liberty, but is the slave of corruption. He lives "in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and is by nature a child of wrath even as others!" (Ephesians 2:3) Man by nature is . . . influenced by corrupt motives, ruled by evil principles, led captive by carnal passions, and lives under the power of sin! The sinner feels his bondage, as well as his guilt, and struggles for liberty, as well as seeks for pardon.
Salvation is a deliverance from the power of sin, and removes us from under its authority; so that it may be said of every saved person, "Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace." Romans 6:14
The Holy Spirit . . . imparts a principle of spiritual life, applies the Word of God with power, and takes up His residence in the soul.
When the gospel of grace is unfolded to the understanding, and applied to the heart by the Spirit, the entire man is changed!
His hard heart is softened, his stubborn will yields, his carnal affections rise above earthly things, his conscience now agrees with God, and he is "changed into the image of Jesus, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18
Sin will still struggle, but it cannot reign. Sin may for a time prevail, but it will be subdued. The conflict may be severe, and it will last through life, but sin shall not regain the throne, or reduce the Christian to a state of slavery again. The gracious principles implanted within him are immortal, they are holy, they must overcome at length!
Through the Spirit, the believer mortifies the sinful deeds of the body, that he may live. (Romans 8:13) Being Christ's, he crucifies the flesh with its affections and lusts. (Galatians 5:24) And while he walks in, or under the influence of the Spirit, he does not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16) Sin has no authority over him, for . . . he has renounced it, he daily mourns over it, he confesses it before God, he strives against it, and he longs for Heaven, because there he shall be entirely free from sin!
He who is saved from the guilt and power of sin, is also delivered from the love of sin. Sin is no longer his element, his business, his pleasure. He did love sin once, as does everyone in a state of nature. The unbeliever may not love every species of sin, but . . . some favorite sin, his darling sin, his idol, which he worships, which he wishes to have spared.
But salvation delivers from the love of every sin, and sets the heart on striving for universal holiness. True, it is possible for a regenerate person for a time, to find his affections running out after a forbidden object, or what is grossly evil. But it will soon be detected, confessed before God, and mourned over in secret. The renewed heart cannot habitually love sin, but must hate it. Sin is hated . . . because God hates it, because it is opposed to our best interests, because it crucified the Son of God, because it grieves the Holy Spirit, and because it is contrary to the new nature of the Christian.
As soon may the bird love to be confined under water, or the fish prefer the the barren wilderness to its native element, as for a true believer habitually to love sin. No, he hates it, he hates it naturally, constantly, and with an unconquerable hatred!
His views are changed, and he thinks of sin in some degree as God thinks of it!
His desires are changed, and he desires to cleanse himself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 7:1
His hopes are changed, so that though he once hoped for worldly wealth, honor and pleasure, he now hopes to be forever delivered from sin, and be exactly like, and eternally with his precious Savior!
He fears sin, and nothing so much as sin! He finds pleasure in holiness, and no such pleasure in anything else! He is pained at sin, and nothing causes him so much grief and sorrow!
This is indeed salvation, to be delivered . . . from the guilt of sin, with its attendant horrors and punishments; from the power of sin, with its consequent degradation; and from the love of sin, which is the principal feature in the image of Satan!
He who is thus saved, is delivered also from all the penal consequences of sin. To him there is no curse, for Christ was made a curse for him. To him there is no wrath, for God is at peace with him, and loves him with an everlasting love. To him there is no future punishment, for he is justified from every charge, and entitled to everlasting life!
He deserved Hell for his sins, but he is saved from it by his Redeemer's sacrifice and death!

Throughout the series, we’ve been treated to a lot of great matches, and lots of key moments from the Karasuno players. Today I ask, what do you view as the best and worst performances from each of the starters over the course of the series?
Here’s my list, with a disclaimer that picking the worst for some of these guys was pretty hard. It’s not too often the manga has a player being actively bad, and usually when they do they end up making one hell of a comeback and being key to the Karasuno victory. So some of the picks for worst are admittedly less that they played bad, and more that they had a poor stretch, or that they were below their usual standards in the match. Anyway, without further ado, let’s proceed,

Best Game: Kamomedai
I think this is one that clearly goes without saying. Hinata was absolutely on fire in this game, playing like a kid possessed and just constantly upping the ante against what was easily the best blocking team he had ever faced. It was almost poetic, really. When we started with him, he wondered what it looked like behind the wall of blockers. And in this game, they couldn’t do a thing against him.
Worst Game: Nekoma
This is an interesting pick, because this was Hinata’s first game having a really solid grasp of receiving (to the point where it won them a set), and it’s where he first started to get the hang of his “Dun” jump, which was key to the win over Nekoma. That being said, that jump came near the end of the second set, and it was something that he needed Kageyama’s four set in order to accomplish. Before then, while he wasn’t playing bad, and had still got some nice kills, he wasn’t nearly as effective as he usually was, with Nekoma’s strategy doing an absolutely number to slow him down
Kageyama
Best Game: Inarizaki
It was acknowledged within the manga that Kageyama was on one during this game. Be it his serving, his setting, his blocking, he was constantly able to rise to the task. Be it his running under the net to still set the ball, his block against Aran, or his long set towards Tanaka + his service ace to force a deuce, Kageyama was the best player Karasuno had that day, and evolved constantly within the game to begin reaching his full potential.
I will say I also considered Nekoma here, just because I really liked the way he managed to free Hinata from the shackles that Nekoma’s gameplay had put him in.
Worst Game: Seijoh 1
Not much needs ti be said here, really. For the entire first set he was in his own head which pit Karasuno in a hole, and though he did great after he came back from being subbed out, it was still clear he had a long way to go before he could truly become the King of the Court.
Tsukishima
Best Game: Shiratorizawa
It shouldn’t go without much surprise that this is Tsukishima’s best game, as it was this game that got him hooked on volleyball. Tsukishima stayed consistently on top of his game with his blocking and funneling, working in tandem with Nishinoya to make things much harder for Ushijima and the rest of Shiratorizawa. He was no slouch on offense either, with his delayed spike and his bluffed slide attack providing very key points for the team in clutch moments. Though his final plan against Ushijima didn’t work, it was still an excellent display of his analytical mind.
Worst Game: Wakutani
Honestly, I don’t think Tsukishima necessarily played bad either. However, Nakashima was simply a mad matchup for him, with his ability to tool blocks. This wasn’t the first time Tsukishima would face hitters who blatantly countered his blocking, but with Suna and Hoshiumi, Tsukishima was able to at least utilize larger strategies to neutralize them even a little.
Tanaka
Best Game: Inarizaki
Tanaka had a rough start to this game. Inarizaki were doing a great job blocking him, and his precision line and cut shots were still a work in progress. To make matters worse, he hit a bad mental block that only built up as he continued to struggle offensively. However, he got himself out of it, nailing an insane angle on a cut shot to win them the first set. Later on, down 24-22 in the third set, he was trusted to make the kill, and he did so while going the complete opposite way, saving his team with a sharp line shot. Tanaka came out of this match a much better player than before, clearly showing why he was Karasuno’s next ace
Worst Game: Date Tech 2
Full honesty? It was hard to pick a worst match for Tanaka. He was targeted early in the first Seijoh, but got himself out of it quickly enough and was back to his normal self before long so the damage was minimal. Instead, I had to just kind of raise my hands and point to the Date Tech match. it wasn’t even that he was bad, but with the focus on Asahi and Hinata, Tanaka was mostly left to the side and wasn’t as present. This is easily my weakest pick though, so I won’t fault anyone for completely disagreeing.
Nishinoya
Best Game: Shiratorizawa
Similar to Tsukishima, this should go without saying. Faced with the best ace in Japan, Nishinoya made constant digs that almost no one else could. Not only that, but they were fantastic passes too, allowing Karasuno’s offense to still shine. Furthermore, his strong mentality meant that even as Karasuno came out weak in the first set, he was able to inject them with enough energy to keep them going, slowly building momentum towards a win.
Worst Game: Inarizaki
Inarizaki marks the only time Nishinoya was outright picked on. His weakness in overhands was exploited to its limit by Atsumu, and was something that troubled the team for all three sets. He gave up constant service aces, and made poor bumps that compromised Karasuno’s ability to control the fistfight. He was eventually able to work himself out of it thanks to Kinoshita’s help, but the damage that was done got very close to being too much.
Asahi
Best Game: Kamomedai
Similar to Tanaka, Asahi had a rough early go against Kamomedai. They were like a superior version of Date Tech, the team that gave him absolute fits the previous year and almost broke him completely. He was in danger of falling into the same hole in this game but, backed by his team, he came out stronger than ever, breaking down the forest and opening the way for Karasuno to begin picking apart Kamomedai’s blocking.
Worst Game: Date Tech 1
Admittedly a cop out answer given this game wasn’t shown in full, but Asahi was pretty great in every full match we saw, which is fitting for an ace. So instead we point to the game where we’re explicitly told he was shut down, and even quit the club for a while.
Daichi
Best Game: Inarizaki
I actually had Johzenji initially when I was typing this up. He proved to be a backbone for Kageyama and Hinata, preventing them from getting swept up in Johzenji’s rhythm and saving them from a few mistakes. He proved his role as captain there. But he does that again in Inarizaki, and contributes even more so with his scoring. In addition to being the solid foundation, he shows here how he embraces the team’s philosophy of scoring, which was noticed by Kita. Always a steady rock for Karasuno, Daichi went above and beyond in this game, showing that he too is just as capable at scoring.
Worst Game: Kamomedai
Similar to Tanaka, it’s hard to pick a bad game for Daichi because one of his main strengths is just how consistent and fundamental he is. While he isn’t a fantastic player able to control everything, his digs have saved Karasuno constant times to the point they took it for granted, as evidenced by the Wakutani match. So I choose the Kamomedai match solely on the concept that Daichi wasn’t as much of an offensive threat as he usually was. It’s still a pretty good game from him, though.

Here’s my list, with a disclaimer that picking the worst for some of these guys was pretty hard. It’s not too often the manga has a player being actively bad, and usually when they do they end up making one hell of a comeback and being key to the Karasuno victory. So some of the picks for worst are admittedly less that they played bad, and more that they had a poor stretch, or that they were below their usual standards in the match. Anyway, without further ado, let’s proceed,
Hinata

Hi everyone. So, shenanigans happened in my session last night, and I had to wing it like a pro. The session before, my 5 level 2 players found a bag of beans. Last session, they split the beans between two players, and found the ones outside of the bag were slowly growing. What's the sensible course of action here? Put them back in the bag, obviously. Noo, my little druid player decided to just THROW 11 beans away from him.
Chaos. Eggs and toads and giant statues of him erupted from the ground, all to be flatten to a pulp as the pyramid of the mummy appeared. Thankfully, the party had a good way to block off the mummy without engaging in a fight so crisis averted. The warlock, in a previous session, managed to get himself cursed with a Midas touch and everything he touches turns to gold. This worked out well when the druid Mold Earthed a door to the tomb and the warlock waited until the mummy was touching the mud door to turn everything into gold. This also gave a small space for the rogue to go in and find any treasure.
Now I'm stuck. Absolutely winging it, the rogue found a large Ankh, made of dark wood and a gemstone set into the middle. A Detect Magic gave the Warlock a feeling of necrotic energy, but nothing happened when anyone touched (or bit) the item.
I'm stuck on what this item should do. I want it to be cursed, with no real benefits, that'll start manifesting after attunement to the one who carries it. Can anyone help with some ideas that aren't character-ending, a bit shengingany, and fun?
As some backstory on the campaign, everything in the world is reskinned to be small adorable British woodland creatures. The party are a rabbit, harvest mouse, squirrel, otter and rat setting off to try and find out why the river is no longer running. The mummy lord, to fit this world, was a giant mummified lion.

I don't know if it was actually rape. I feel like there's equal amounts of evidence supporting either conclusion. Since Mandy still had not turned up and most everyone else in the house had things to do, Paul decided little Dan could spend the rest of the morning, at least, with him. He got himself and the child properly dressed, then opted to tuck the lad into his own oversized coat as they stepped out into the blustery air.

"Haaa," Danny intimated.

They set off down the street, Paul humming to himself as he usually did. The baby's downy hair tickled under the shelf of his chin, and it almost made him laugh.
This was going to be an odd day.
At the corner, Betty and Joey from down the street were about to cross. Betty had her big shopping basket; they had paused so she could redo the buttons on Joey's jacket.
"Pree baby," Joey slurred as Paul stopped beside them, and his free hand fluttered upward for a moment before he looked worriedly to Betty.
"C'n I? C'n?"
"He's wondering if he could pat Danny's hair," Betty translated.
"Oh," Paul nodded. "Sure, I guess."
Joey's fingers gently played with the faint strands for a moment, and then Joey grinned.
"M'pal," he said, and pointed to Danny.

Today, he figured, would be mostly a going-inside-places day. Probably he could have just stayed in the house, but that always made him feel half-mad. Still, with the baby along, it would make sense not to stay out in the cold too much. Poor little guy might freeze.
Still, they walked a long way before Paul decided to stop in at that silly little music shop, Muztara. That place was always a little too warm, but there were spots to sit, and the owners always had free tea and cake for customers.
The door of the shop had a whole little rig of tiny brass bells that it rang when opened; Danny seemed to like that. At least he laughed and made a repetitive little "Shhhiii, shiiii" noise for a bit after. The slouchy guy behind the till looked up and waved.
"Hey, Paul."
"Hey."
As Paul was moving toward the tea urn, the guy moved generally that direction as well, slotting some LPs into a bin.
"You got a kid now?" he asked.
"Uhm," Paul said, filling a styrene cup and settling himself on a bench.
"We got milk, if ya want. For the kid."
"Ah? Tha'd be great. Ta."
Unfastening his coat, Paul eased Danny out and plumped the kid down on the bench at his side.
"How old's he?" the slouchy guy asked, reappearing from some back room with the milk.
"Uh, just a year."
"Cool. 'S'name?"
"Daniel. Danny, mostly."
"Nice. Here ya go then, Danny."
The guy had poured some milk into a funny little plastic teacup, and he handed it carefully to the baby, who very seriously accepted it and then stared at it, confused. Shaking his head and smiling, Paul set his tea aside for a moment to help the little lad drink.
"He's not s' good with cups just yet."
"Ah. Figures, as he's s' young."
There were a lot of biscuits and cakes laid out near the tea urn in boxes, and now Danny was craning his head around to look at them.
"Bikit?" he asked.
"Okay, little guy. One biscuit."
Paul chose soft rather than something crunchy, figuring that was best for little teeth. Danny seemed happy either way, shoving his milk cup into Paul's hands so he could concentrate on the sweet.
They sat a long time there. Now and then other people entered the shop. A few commented on Danny, mostly saying he was real cute. Paul felt proud whenever they did, since they also mostly seemed to think he was the baby's dad. It was flattering, sort of.
Eventually, Danny got fussy, rubbing his eyes and leaning against Paul's arm, whining. Probably he was tired. Paul stood slowly, stretching, then picked Danny up and tucked him back into the coat, fastening it carefully.
"Headed back out?" the slouchy guy yawned.
"Mm-hmm."
"Have a good day."
Danny seemed happier once they were back on the street, burrowing his head against Paul's jumper and ceasing his whining. Paul decided a library might be all right next. It would be nice and quiet. Little guy might sleep a bit.
Sure enough, by the time they reached the intended destination, Danny was well asleep, drooling just slightly. No big deal.
For the hour and a half that Danny slept, Paul read mostly about gardening. At the squats, everyone sort of worked together to grow a bit of food in the back gardens to save money, and he had some ideas for new vegetable beds they could try in a few months. Nothing in the books seemed to indicate his ideas were insane; very good.
Once Danny was waking up, a little blinky and confused, Paul reshelved his books and they took off again.
"Wanna go to the park, Dan?" Paul asked.
"Parg? Parg."
So to a park they went. Danny toddled about in the grass, stopping here and there to sit or crouch and stare at some fascinating pebble or such. Paul followed him, making sure he did not swallow rocks or something. Presently, the kid stopped and, looking focused, stood very still a while, grunting. Then he looked up to Paul.
"Help," he said.
"What, little guy? What help?"
Kneeling, Paul instantly caught a whiff of what needed help.
"Ah, no. Jeez. Come on, Dan. We oughta head home."

A bit back my GF built a computer she never got working. Today she let me see if I could find the problem. Though I could fix a few things, it ended up getting stuck in a state of powering on for a bit and then restarting. Nothing is displayed on the monitor and by testing different parts and the way things light up it seems to be a problem with either the motherboard or the CPU. I don’t know everything about the PC (or most PCs in general) but she has assured me it’s all compatible. After researching I found the BIOS most likely isn’t updated to support her CPU. I’ve talked to two people who have more knowledge than me and they assured me this is the problem, so I doubt I’m mistaken. If I am correct, is it possible to update the BIOS without being able to access the BIOS?

LONG BACK STORY IM SORRY!!
Ive never used reddit so please bear with me. I'm a very small streamer and I made lots of new friends because of it. I became close friends with M35 and I'm a F25. So not too long into our friendship I started getting a crush on him and confessed. He said he reciprocated but didn't like labels which I said I was fine with. Not too long after that he started getting weird. I was close friends with another guy and I saw him like a little brother. But soon M35 started getting jealous of my time with my friends. At first I thought it was cute but it got worse. Me and M35 at this point were like a couple but without the title. I had enough of it so I broke off our situationship and That's when the fire nation attacked. He was very manipulative. If spent too much time with someone it's because I was a bad friend. I was neglecting him. I was mean to him. He once told me I wasn't a good friend because I didn't tell him to drink water. Yeah, a 35 year old needs help with that. I had to start going offline when gaming with friends because he'd be passive aggressive the next day, he would log out of twitch chats to see if I was there. He even said to me "I know you're not too busy [to watch his stream] because you're still talking in other people's chats. Literally everywhere I went he was watching. He controlled my life so much and I felt that I was the cause of all our problems. I had to tiptoe around him in fear of the next argument. I once helped a person with extreme alcohol poisoning regain consciousness and he made it about himself. After telling him what happened he said I was so traumatized by it that I've been acting differently. (I had just broken things off with him). So I realize now he was trying to make me question my sanity to go back to him. No I was not traumatized. I had told him that like a day after it happened and he said "why didn't you tell me before hand? You probably told your other friends first". So the time came when I finally broke away from him completely. This happened because I played a children's game with another friend of mine and he got mad and said that I was a bad friend. He said I wasn't around, I was neglecting him, that I played a game with someone else that I was meant to play with him. (I've owned this game before I even knew him). He kept trying to talk to me but I had an irl family crisis where sui**** was a possibility. I almost lost a family member and he still made it about himself that he wanted to talk and talk and talk. I removed him from everywhere and after chatting to him I finally sent him a last message calling him toxic and that I will never speak to him again. I even ended it with a positive saying that I wished him well. So since then (7 months ago) he hasn't left me alone. He still messages my friends, makes posts about me and tell his whole server that I'm a toxic manipulating abuser. That I'm the one stalking him and I'm the one who's in the wrong. Essentially everything he's done to me and continues to do to me is posted as if I'm the one doing it to him. How do I get rid of him? How do I make it stop? I told him I will never speak to him again and I will stay true to that promise. He lost the majority of his friends because they all saw my mountains of screenshots and proof of him being an abuser. Should I report his account? Would it even make a difference? I don't know what to do.
