My 8 year old schnauzer was diagnosed with pancreatitis and is currently on antibiotics (still at the vet). The vet said it is mild - moderate pancreatitis and he will stay overnight... hopefully able to start oral antibiotics after he has his appetite back. He hasn't had any GI issues before this.
I'm feeling a little shaken up and would find relief from anyone who has tips on recovery, treatment, diet moving forward etc. Pretty much if you can give me any advice that gives my good boy a healthy and happy life I would be so grateful to read it.
I know I will ask the vet once I talk to them next, but sometimes antecdotal stories from people who relate is very helpful on my anxiety.

My SPD is very episodic and can vary wildly depending on the trigger. Sometimes, the act of processing information and coming up with a response hurts more than almost any other sensory input. Someone asking me if I want a glass of water causes me to wince. But someone asking me do I think they should do A or B takes me 3-5 minutes to recover, even if it's a simple answer. Do any of you guys have this at times, and if so, how do you explain it to others? People seem to get it to a point, but they don't really seem to grock it. Does anyone have any really good explanations/definitions that have helped others understand?

This is just one part of the inner tug of war that I experience. I become very critical of myself when I don't follow the rules or I break an agreement. I worry so much that people will perceive me negatively. I want to be a reliable and accountable human being so badly. I want to show how deeply I care about the "right" and decent way to do things and to stick to my word. I have a strong sense of justice and integrity and find it hard to "go easy" on myself when I make mistakes or ask for handouts or help. I always promise myself I won't let it happen again, because it's so obvious, in that moment, where I went wrong. Of course, I still find myself making "silly" mistakes as my school reports would put it. It feels like no matter how self aware I am, I will always let things pile up until they come crashing down. I leave things til last minute or simply forget important things. A part of me can see it so simply, clearly and logically, why does that part only ever come out when it's time to berate the other part of me? Why cant I access it when I need it? I can hear it in there, crying out from the shadows "you have to act now, you're running out of time!".. "cant you remember what happened last time you did this?" But I just.. ignore it?
I have often considered this to be self sabotage, but maybe it's something different?

I am currently working on a small project in C/C++ where I try to visualize different sorting algorithms. For that I also want to have a timer that tracks each sorting algorithms speed/execution time.

 My plan was to write a separate function which take my algorithm as a parameter and kind of "wraps" around the function, so I would have something like this instead:

So here is my review of the emulation itself of bfs, the game as said previously just runs better the longer you emulate, and for more demanding things like explosions, after the emulator has preforned a task once it'll have the capacity to load that same action again with no stutter, up to the point in which the game runs just like it does on 360, maybe even better (assuming you give it the proper time it needs to do so) there are a couple issues tho, like how in maul field tour I was having quite a few graphical glitches (nothing major just some bugged shadows, a zombie that had the zebra texture and my character portrait in bottom left corner becoming seemingly corrupted but I think that has happened on the 360 too so o well) or how in the cinematics where larry is explaining the why of things about certain things, like the mech section where he explains how he stripped his rv for parts, these sections are either missing dialog completely or missing part of it, it's a strange but small thing as all the other cutscenes work just fine, I also had to disable achievements because they kept blocking my inputs and soft locking me when I unlocked them, anyway I'll come back and update again if need be after my madness playthrough (wish me luck on my way through hell)

Hi everyone! I'm currently writing my master's degree in psychology and doing a survey about parasocial attachment and possible correlations with personality as quantified in the Big Five domain. Additionally, the survey includes some questions about social connectedness. The goal of my study is to perhaps find a structure of personality that is more likely to form parasocial attachment, and how parasocial attachment and social connectedness interact. I’m intentionally making this part a pretty vague because feelings tend to be fluid and can change in an instant. I've installed the Entities package (witch is no longer experimental or preview) to my 2022.3.0 (LTS) project. But I get this error:

Okay to unwrap things up,I grew up in a house where sharing is the most important rule which I'm fine but then there is that thing thing where my mom/sister would take my things without asking which pissies me off a lot.
My sister recently moved out with her and she doesn't have a job(since 2016)so the food isn't much there but somehow when she goes outside with her dad on the market they buy tones of bullcrap food like chips/Cheetos/any jank food ect,when she comes to our house she would open the cupboards/fridge and pick anything there's inside without even asking if she can have it which happens a lot and it's so annoying,she would come to my room and pick my phone chargers loose them and then say "don't yell at me, respect me".
So today I made a pizza which I really liked and it's the first time I ever said "I don't wanna share it because it's so tasty!" (Of course I gave a slice to my mom relax).My sister came by and I know there wouldn't stay a slice at all so I hid it, meanwhile that she casually once again open the freezer where I had made a coffee ice cream and she ate it all by 2 bites WITHOUT ASKING IF SHE CAN.She then went to the basement to pick stuff and my mom called me asshole for not sharing the pizza so she took out a slice,gave it to her and she got offended because her little Sharing princess said "oh no I don't like pizza" which implys she got upset.
I'm fine with sharing anything,as long people ask and return my things umharmed.

Hi,
I have an issue with Windows 11 and can't figure out what it could be whatever I try. It's hard to explain but after closing down a game, everything windows related is all of the sudden extremely slow but only on my main monitor; a LG27GP850.
My PC is brand new and equipped with an AMD 6950XT GPU, a 7800X3D CPU and 32GB of DDR5 Ram. When this issue occurs my computer is hardly using any resources. My monitor is connected to my GPU. The only thing that resolves this is restarting the whole computer.
