I’m not going to stand at a dungeon entrance spamming help or follow me emotes, and I’m not going to join a discord to submit an application for a guild. The game feels empty without the ability to join random parties. I watch dozens of people run past on their own errands while I’m on mine and there’s no realistic way to actually join people. Let me choose if I want an open party as I join a dungeon or something. Or give me an icon so open world players can throw me an invite if they want some help.
I’m really enjoying the game, and it’ll end up in a really good place like it always does. This, for me, would go a huge way towards improving the game.

Starting on June 12th, /pkmntcg will be going dark (private) for a minimum of 48 hours joining hundreds of other subreddits in solidarity against recently announced changes from Reddit administrators that would limit if not completely eliminate access to Reddit's API for third-party apps.
During this period, /pkmntcg will not be available to users to read or participate in existing discussions or to make new posts.
There has been a lot of discussion about these changes and why many subreddits are choosing to go dark starting June 12th. Many posts do a better job explaining the situation than I can:

Long story short, if you use third-party apps like Reddit is Fun, Apollo, Narwhal, BaconReader, or many others to access the site, this will directly impact you at the end of the month when these apps will almost certainly be forced to shut down.
Even if you don't use these apps yourself, many users who post the content that you enjoy do. Your moderators use these apps to access and moderate /pkmntcg daily. Users who are visually impaired use these apps to participate in discussions. Many subreddits rely on third-party access to API to maintain bots that allow them to effectively moderate their forums.
We do not take this decision lightly, and will re-evaluate the situation during the site-wide blackout to determine when to return things to normal.
If you are looking for something to do about this, please review the links above for opportunities to make your opinion heard. We understand that /pkmntcg going dark for 48 hours will not on its own lead to any changes, but we are hoping that our part in a larger effort may lead to positive changes for our users and users across Reddit.

Hi guys,
Been offered a different role in my job, so going from business to customer CS to business to business CS. I started my job with no experience - came straight from retail and I'm on 25k now. My boss let me know that they'll discuss the new contract with me as soon as they have it ready but I assume they'll ask me what salary I'm expecting. I'm 22.
I've tried to Google it but google told me it was 35k and I unfortunately can't see myself getting a 10k raise. Any ideas what would be a fair expected salary for me to put forward? I'm based in Cork and the business is selling bulk quantities of clothing to brands like ASOS, Zalando etc.

As some of you might know, a recent Reddit policy change will basically prevent the usage of third-party Reddit clients.
On June 12th, many subreddits are going to close, some until June 14th, and some permanently (until Reddit addresses the issue), to protest this change.

I have game pass on Xbox which covers Xbox live and I can play online in every other game with the exception of Diablo IV, So when I tried to join a clan or make a party it says I can't do that - but I also can't purchase Xbox live since I'm a game pass subscriber.
Am I missing something here or is this backwards?
Has anyone seen if Blizzard is going to fix this for those of us who have game pass and can play any other game online and in parties?
Any help would be appreciated.

Might be a little late to the party but as necro I ran into the bug in the capstone Dungeon to go to WT3 a couple times its kinda sucky.. seemingly necro and druids with pets cause the boss to disappear, I ran with my minions all the way to the door at the boss and sacrificed for more shadow damage and essence and killed the boss.. it worked, I've seen alot of folk annoyed by it so just trying to help 👌

So I defeated Astaroth, who I know has been a bit buggy for other people but in this instance I did not get the glitch and it said I successfully killed him. It switched the quest over to something about talking to the next person and it gave that person the quest symbol above his head. So the game knew I successfully killed Astaroth. However when I tried to talk to him, it kept saying that I can’t talk to him unless my whole party was present. Which was weird because I have never joined a “party” other than the NPCs that follow me during quests. I figured the game glitched and thought I was in a legit party with other people so I decided to try leaving and rejoining. Well when I rejoined it took me all the way back to before killing Astaroth. So what the fuck? Is it really that easy to lose your quest progression? There’s literally zero indicators how far back it’ll reset you after you exit the game? Fyi I love Diablo and I’m having fun but what the fuck is this?

As many of you know, Reddit is implementing changes to the API system, basically charging a huge fee to keep third party apps going. For several reasons, this is pretty awful.
1: This hugely affects the community that use third party apps, as there are several useful features and bots that are required to run communities.
2: This allows affects apps for the visually impaired, which of course is pretty scummy.
These are the main 2 reasons. This Verge article should include more details.
As a result, We have decided to close the subreddit for the 48 hours. If it is advised that we go longer, we will do so.
I know this isn't a very active community, but it's active enough to let you know in advance.
In general, I would advise you to spread the word or to boycott Reddit during this time period, as pretty much all the big subreddits are going to be private during this time.

Hey all! I have been DMing for a long while and I am currently planning on hosting my next campaign! I am Cloud (he/him, 27, from Canada), I have been DMing for a long time and decided to try my luck to find awesome people on this subreddit.
The campaign will be set in a homebrew world that I have been working on for the past 3 years or so; but here is the twist: the campaign is from level 1-20 and will last about 7-8 months and then we will move on to a different adventure still set in the same world, set either after or before the last one. That way, we get to experience a full adventure while taking our time and without spending many years to reach those awesome higher levels :)
Despite the adventures and campaigns being relatively fast paced, I still make sure to leave plenty of room for character development and many opportunities for character arcs. After a campaign is done, I would prepare the next one and so on. I hope to find commited players for a long term series of adventures where we create awesome memories. The games will be hosted on Discord for VC and FoundryVTT

A bit about me

As a DM, I do my best to create the environment to make creative storytelling shine. Creative storytelling, even if it is often used as a pseudo tagline, is the art where the party and the DM work together to shape the world and give gravitas to the adventure they are experiencing.
I prioritize roleplay over rollplay and always put the emphasis on intentions vs actions (this means I work with you so your character does a cool thing and the pacing is always dynamic; no more "okay but how high is the ceiling, can I go through X, Y, Z," etc. that takes away from immersion).
I also love it when player innevitably surprise me and create plans to suceed on tougher encounters! I have also played with many new players and introduced many new players to the hobby, so if you're a newer player, feel free to still apply :)
In terms of game scheduling, I host 3 games, then we have a 1 week break. I am understanding if however players can't make it on a few sessions, as long as it doesn't become a habit.

A bit about the setting

Aerlion is a high fantasy setting with 9 countries that all have distinct cultures, beliefs and ways of living. In this setting, there are no gods, no devils, no undeads since they all destroyed eachother and the world beneath them. After this catastrophy, known as The Great Shattering, people began to rebuild and a new age of adventure, exploration, and magic began! Think of a high fantasy rennaissance! (yes, there are arcane muskets).
I have been told the setting is a mix between Journey through the Radiant Citadel and Eberron. It has some cuttthroat political intrigue, mysteries and plenty of villains to defeat, dragons to boop and even ancient temples to claim and solve the way the DM never intended.

• Are 18 years old or older.
• Are kind and respectful.
• Are serious and commited (meaning you know your character sheet, keep track of things, and don't skip every other session).
• Love roleplaying and spending sessions 90% of the time in character.
• Have stable internet and a decent microphone.
• Like levelling up every session (yes, really).
• Enjoy homebrew.

Not for you if:

• You make edgelord characters, or characters that are evil just for the sake of it
• You want to be the main character, have trouble with teamwork or cooperation.
• Prefer a slower paced, longer 2 year + campaign with the same characters.

Monthly rent for the flat is 3200 pounds per month split between three parties, and utility bills will be around 30-40 per month per person.
The flat has Three bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a kitchen big enough to have a dining table, with a washer and dryer as well.
The contract spans from the 1st of July 2023 till the 1st of July 2024, with no further pushback on the date.
It’s a great location and a sizeable property for its price, being right next to the British library and St Pancras!
The both of us are university students, and we’re open to staying with anyone, with only one condition.

This is just a random realization I came to. I tend to have a problem with Pride month because I don't think people should take Pride in their sexuality. I don't think it's anything in particular to be proud of. After all, being LGBTQ isn't an accomplishment. It's not something you "become". Anyways, if the whole point of pride month is to be bring awareness to LGBTQ issues. Wouldn't calling it support month make more sense? wouldn't it bring more awareness than calling it pride month? If it was called Support Month, people would actually think about ways to support people who are LGBTQ because supporting someone is a task anyone can do. At the moment, in my mind, calling it Pride Month isn't doing favors for the LGBTQ community. And I know I'm just some random guy on the internet, and you don't have to listen to me, but isn't this something that needs to change? Is building an ego around sexual identity something people should be doing? Doesn't a healthy ego revolves around ones accomplishments and overcoming challenge? Whatever accomplishment it may be? I'm not saying people should be ashamed of their sexuality, that's beyond stupid. You can't go around being ashamed of something like that because shame is literally not something you can tangibly do. Why is it called Pride Month? What does being proud of your sexuality or gender identity for you? How does it help you in the long run (not that you should only do things if they help you in the long run)?

So full disclosure I’m brand new to Reddit. Yes, yes I know a little late to the party. I’ve really liked being able to have a fresh start on a social media platform. I now have a platform I can moderate and curate so I can have no politics and basically a “positive” experience. I started this community cause I love horror and meeting new people. But, when I started this community Reddit suggested I cross post into other subs to gain new members which has worked well. Nearly 200 new members in a week has been fun. But, I’m now being banned from certain subs for cross posting even tho Reddit themselves told me to. So after all this, my question is what do you guys recommend I do to try and continue to grow this community?

Looking to see if anyone had this problem with their 06 non-s R50 mini coopers cooling system.
Changed the plastic heater coupling in the rear due to it leaking from a small crack. The lower hose from the firewall is going to the lower double coupler fitting and the upper hose from the firewall is going to the upper double coupler fitting. Not sure if this is correct as I just bought the car. I could be wrong.
Changed out the thermostat, changed out the low speed fan resistor pack in the radiator shroud housing. Checked the fan relays next to the battery box and the 50A fuse. Both speed for the fan does come on but it seems rather late.
Main problem is car is overheating at idle, both low speed and high speed fan setting does come on possibly (thinking it kind of comes on late?) but runs hot at idle pushing 250 deg F almost max on the center console gauge. Over temp warning light comes on at about 250, and I have to shut the vehicle off and let the fan run till it cools down.
I checked for leaks, none, refilled the system by manual and purged out the lower double coupler (heater). Purged out the front left upper hose over the alternator, purged out the little 8mm screw in the front driver corner of the head for air bubbles.
Compression test across the board is at 135 PSI.
Car still overheats, idles and seems to run fine other than it overheating. Any help would be appreciated. The only thing I can think of maybe blockage in radiator or coolant temp sensor change next?!
