Pillsbury doughboy family costume

The first thing I want to warn you is that English is not my native language and if I have any mistake forgive me, I tried to reread it from beginning to end but maybe I missed some little thing :/
Ok, being honest, I'm making this post because WandereScara's future has been hanging around in my head a lot lately and I wanted to try to get as close as possible to what could happen with him guided by various theories I've read about the lore and a bit of reasoning putting them all together, as well as Japanese mythology and folklore, and the script patterns I think I've picked up on.
Firstly, in his case it is obvious that he reflects a lot of Japanese mythology, many of us know he is Fujin but I think many go unnoticed that he is also a clear reference to Susanoo (God of Storms, he was forced to wander the human world as punishment and that is where he changes his lifestyle) and Raitaro, son of Raijin, who grows up with some poor peasants and then leaves, which is a reference to Scara living with the blacksmiths in Tatarasuna (and actually I think there is one more but as I'm not sure I'll let it go, the point is that there may be more).
Secondly, I don't think many people know this theory so I wanted to bring it up for discussion. Wanderer has - or is going to have - three people in his life who represent the healing to the wounds of the three betrayals he received in his life. The first wound that he is going to heal we are currently seeing and it is with Nahida, who does she represent? The nameless child that he took care of, she is a clear reference to that child and I don't know if you remember but in the teaser the child tells him a story to try to explain something, it is something that Nahida would clearly do and that we have even seen her do before; the second wound that she will heal is with Kazuha, who represents Niwa in his new life and I think it is also a little obvious (but also, it is necessary to consider that this wound would not be the one of the betrayal since in 3.3 he realized that there was never any, I have to believe that perhaps it was linked in part to the damage that Scaramouche/Kunikuzushi created to Kazuha's clan, and perhaps many other things) and finally, as the origin and cause of many bad things, we have Ei who will heal the wound that well... she herself caused, How? I have no idea, I would also like to know.
The Ei thing has not only been commented a thousand times by the lore itself, it also follows the patterns of some of the mythological stories that Wanderer is based on. Fujin was in a bad relationship with Raijin (and by the way Fujin had stolen an arm that helped him to handle better the thunders, clear reference to the gnosis, some stories say that he gives it back to him later when they become close and others say that it was Amaterasu who gives it back to him) and then they become on good terms, they protect Japan together and are always represented together, and Susanoo also had problems in his relationship with Amaterasu (who is Ei, Amaterasu is the Goddess of the Sun and she locked herself in a cave and left the world without Sun, and two gods had to come to take her out deceiving her because she did not want to go out at all) but in the end they reconcile, I mean, it follows the pattern of reconciliation between Fujin and Raijin.
Finally, does everything I have said have a point? Yes, my main point here is that Wanderer is a walking reference to Japanese culture and mythology (also his costume makes references to Japanese Buddhists, even his weapon as they tend to always carry a small bell), his entire character construction reflects more Japanese folklore than 95% of Inazuma characters and his character is specially created to reflect Japan. Now, do you really think that a character that was created to have so many ties to what would be his home country (both in character creation story and references) would stay in Sumeru? I mean, it's not that it's impossible, but it seems highly improbable to me, besides, I feel that many don't take into account that even though he agreed to stay as a sort of companion/kagemusha of Nahida, he still has a "None" in his affiliation and by this I mean, it's very possible that he will end up leaving Sumeru to start being a wanderer and, maybe, meet Kazuha in his journey.
For all that, I would not be surprised if at the end of his story he ends up ruling or protecting Inazuma in some way, although perhaps he will remain partly a wanderer following slightly how Fujin was, who despite being present protecting Japan, being considered more free than Raijin, was always going from one place to another.
Also, I don't mean that he will break his ties with Sumeru/Nahida, after all and following the theory that Nahida represents the nameless child in Wanderer's story it is very likely that he sees her as family and they stay in touch because of that, the most obvious thing would be that they stay in close contact for a long time or the rest of their lives.
Adding a comment to the discussion between if he should or not in the future to establish a relationship with Ei is half strange for me because following all the patterns of the story the answer is that yes, it will happen, and I swear I'm not even saying this as an opinion, it's just that if we look at the patterns here, and pay attention to the fact that Hoyoverse throws in our faces every possible parallelism and similarity between the two, they are basically telling us since now that they are going to develop some kind of relationship, it is almost a fact, it is already canon and it only remains that Hoyoverso confirms it with all the power of the script that it has /joke, I have always thought that the questions that should be asked are rather When? How?, Is Hoyoverse going to give that a good development and make Ei pay for her negligence? But anyway :-)
As an aside, have you guys seen his suit? I firmly believe that Wanderer's costume serves for 2 exact things with other characters: 1. To be Kazuha's complementary opposite, if you can put them both together and watch them you will notice that they are just complementary, even their shoes are almost the same, only if Kazuha's is black, Wanderer has white, or if Kazuha's is red, Wanderer's is blue, and so on, and 2. To match Raiden's, they have extremely similar gloves when no other character has them like that, their black suits complement each other, both have rainbow dots, they have the galactic theme in their arts and attacks (and both have references to time-space and I don't see many people talking about that xd maybe Scara will end up having relevance in some plot involving Istaroth and her sibling -because one of her siblings is the God of space- but that's just my idea xd) etc etc.
And this is just a separate commentary/theory but, following the patterns again, I really think Wanderer is going to become a god in the future and quite possibly the God of Storms. I'm not only saying that because he is the representation of Susanoo in Genshin, but also because there are certain links just like in the game, where in the... thesis? that we read in 3.3 he creates a storm that destroys a ship, the fact that he has Nakus Weeds in his suit (that in their description has "Even on windless days, this plant will tremble lightly amid the cries of thunder"), the fact that he has created a storm to protect his first believer and finally, and maybe it is only a small detail, that in his collected miscellany what Alice says is "Don't provoke him, and he won't kick up a storm". It makes sense with him, in Japanese mythology electro plus anemo create storms, considering he may still have at least some electro power inside him, he could create storms, or maybe this will become linked to Ei, truth be told this would just be guessing the future.

It sounds pretty dumb, but it was enough to make me wake up in a cold sweat.
I was in a mall/shopping center. It was massive, it had stores with foreign watches and instruments, and costumes. A lot of costumes. I had wandered around to find something cheap. And suddenly I was a different person. I was part of an ARG, one where I was playing a testy wife in an abusive marriage. We were performing it for a live audience, but ot would be recorded in a 3 part series before the ARG elements would start. I had been assured that I wouldn't actually be hurt, my husband and I would just be screaming at each other in a crowded area a couple of times. The crowd was real, but the fight wasn't. Finally, as we were arguing, a nearby audience member (a cop), started tasing me whenever I said my lines (incoherent cry-screaming most of the time.) I never felt the electric current, but I felt the pricks of the barbs. It hurt less than it should have. All I could think was "why?" The second part of the ARG came next. Part 2 was in the style of a true crime podcast. A missing person if I'm remembering right. I was a young man with his friend and his friend's dad. We took seperate cars to get to this tertiary location in the snow. This person we were interviewing was unhinged, just slightly off. Their house was filled with cats, and they just wanted to show me a video. It would be the thing to crack open this case I was reporting in, but the cats kept swarming me. And the closer they got the more deformed they became. They all looked like bad taxidermy, not real animals. Finally, with the info I needed, I left with my friend and the friends dad. The friend almost got eaten by a tongue in the concrete under my car, using the snow to try for a snack. After getting the last bits of my car cleared off, I drove away, recording the episode of the podcast. It was on Tik Tok and Tik Tok is nearly impossible to monetize, so I had to use click through tricks. I was linking to famous snuff films, and every click was more money. I spent the outro begging for people to click the links. And finally, I was me again. I don't know if this was the third part. My girlfriend, her sister, my best friend, and I were going to an event to present our findings on the calamjty going on to some kjnd of government official. Us and upwards of 500 students from around the world. And we were getting there by train. We were sitting in this large empty room on the train and I was up and about because I'm an antsy person. This guy sitting near my group offered to share some bread with us. The bread was different shapes and colors (red and looked ljke a ball of yarn, blue and looked like a lump of clay) but they were apparently super delicious. Finally, the guy wrapped his arm around me. We all looked uncomfortable. He made a pass at me but it sounded like he was drunk. He began to slip, falling asleep. His eyes began to turn pure red and I bolted away, screaming for my friends to get away from him. As quickly as he was normal, he was a mindless zombie. We dashed through the train cars, stumbling upon more people turning into monsters, and people talking about the "early stages". Finally, me, my friends, and the event organizers got to the front car with all of the healthy people. I was shaking, vrying, my life was flashing before my eyes. We were safe? We were gonna be okay? I was never too sure... I ran jnto my colorguard coach and begged to give her a hug, but she insisted that it wouldn't be safe. My group of friends made it up the stairs we needed to take to get off the train, but I kept slipping into the arms of an italian girl. And then I was back home with my mom. We were sharing peanuts, I told her how scared I was. She laughed, patted my head and daid to me "Oh honey," my mom has never called me honey. "Don't be scared. You're going to die. We're all going to die!" The peanuts spilled on the ground, speaking in high pitched chants, echoing my moms words with blood red eyes. I began to cry, to run, to try to get away, but I couldn't. And then I woke up.
TLDR; Elements of Assassination Classroom, Spy x Family, The Train to Busan, my actual life, my cat, and being sick cooked together a trippy ass nightmare and sleep is going to evade me for weeks.

In addition to the book where a mole girl loses her doll, I also remember reading a book about a spider at my old elementary school. The spider was all black, had a spherical body, and lipstick. The story was that the spider keeps scaring the family members in the household. One page showed the family dog getting all muddy, and another showed the mother fixing the bathroom sink. At the end of the story, the family comes back home only to see a lot more spiders in their house.
During Halloween 2010 at my school, I was dressed up as a spider and I was looking at the last page in the book during the costume parade.

I was put in charge of costume design/figuring out costumes for the men in my family. none of them have any idea what they wanna do while all of us (my mom, sister, sister-in-law, and I) have some general ideas of what we're doing and are super excited (the men in my family are sorta being dragged along with the promise off good food and seeing real blacksmiths, joisting, etc lol). the ren faire in my state isn't until the end of july but i wanna start putting things together soon so we can slowly buy items and make their costumes look as thought out as ours. I'm doing a mushroom/swamp nymph (I'm a wheelchair user and gonna make mushrooms and logs to attach to my chair!), my sister-in-law is doing a fairy, my sister is doing a pirate or a rouge, and my mom is doing a forest witch. I'd like some different ideas of what I could do for the four men in my family. I was thinking a bard for my little brother since he plays one in our dnd campaign, but I'm completely clueless what to do for the rest. I have two other little brothers (well ones not so little he's 6'2" and build like a brick house and has long hair that's shaved on the sides and back. the other is also tall but skinny with long hair), and my middle aged dad (who's kinda short with long hair and a beard), I'm not sure if the general descriptions help with ideas but I'm looking for all the help I can get! Preferably things I could find for cheap!

I'm an Artist, Cosplayer, and a Newfound Bookworm who geeks out on game shows (both past and present), word searches, pro wrestling documentaries, restaurant style Ramen, a good poster design, and watching horrothrillecrime drama movies with the subtitles on. I'm quite an avid, but reasonable collector of diecast model cars, art prints/posters, canvas prints, Blu-ray’s, and DVD’s. My room is like a cross between an art gallery and a museum exhibit. One of my goals for when I finally own a home is to put all my passions in the form of my collectibles on display. I stand at 6'1" tall with a slim build, mixed of Black with a touch of West Indian and Native American, and live outside the city of Atlanta.
If I had to describe myself: Calm, reserved, laid-back, easy-going, chill, but passionate about things and always up to learn someone’s likes, dislikes, and what makes them tick. I can be a bit too optimistic at times, soft-spoken, and quiet, but hey ya know, we all have our own personality traits and quirks.
Hobby and interest-wise, I'm into a good variety of things with my newest interests being bookreading and assembling LEGO car sets. Puzzles, word searches, crossword puzzles, Tetris, and books are my form of relaxation. Creative writing is another interest where I write short stories and reviews. Casually, I play videogames on my Xbox Series S. Used to be a semi-large pro wrestling fan, and now I watch copious amounts of wrestling biographies, documentaries, and docuseries (WWE Rivals, Biography Legends, Dark Side of the Ring, and Youtube retrospectives). I still tune in for the occasional wrestling PPV. I’m always in the game for recreational activities like bowling, swimming (including the beach), billiards/pool, mini golf, air hockey, laser tag, and go-kart racing. I've been a cosplayer, costume and propmaker, and avid convention goer for several years. I lost interest in anime/manga and am not into most nerdy things as one would expect (MCU, Star Wars, LotR, Star Trek, etc.), but I judge no one for being into those subsets.
All that said, I'm looking for a woman who is interested in dating for the long term. A girlfriend in other words. Someone I can be exclusive with, go out on dates with, discover new restaurants with, eventually introduce to family and friends, show a cool new poster or piece of artwork I got, send photos of some dope food I may have had on occasion, and maybe even go to a convention with some day. Not in a hurry to find love so I'd like to build toward relationship.
I do think common interests are nice, but I always subscribed to the idea that morals and values are what matters more.
Bonus points and brownies if you're thicker than a snicker! But jokes and memes aside, I do have a preference for curvy/thicker women (I do love cuddling and holding my woman, a lot), and extra bonus points if you live in Atlanta or Georgia as I'd like to go out on dates, but not a requirement. Long distance is fine, as long as there's an eventual plan to meet up.

I have this very distinct memory of watching this peculiar show in the early 2000s-2010s with younger kids in my family. One of them just asked me about what it's called and I couldn't put my finger on it. Both of us are have tried talking to people and doing online research with no luck. Maybe this sub can help us.
It was this TV show with these little animated robots(?). There were 2 small ones, pink and blue, that looked the same and a bigger green one. The three of them had to fly around the city and do quest things. It was a typical educational show and the things they did were supposed to teach you something...like math or ABCs. I can't remember the primary focus of the show in that area.
I specifically remember an episode where the pink robot dresses up like a butterfly, but then the costume is messed up. That's as far as my brain takes me.
This has been eating at my brain. I'm sure as soon as I hear the name I'll feel dumb for not remembering.

I just finished watching Jenny’s Evermore video. As a Pleasant Grove resident, I thought I’d share my POV, because 1) I’m possibly the only person in the universe who actually had MORE desire to go to Evermore because of Jenny’s video. 2) I feel annoyed that some of the people in those interviews kept accusing my area of “not being supportive of the arts” because their park is failing. In a twenty minute driving radius, Pleasant Grove has an annual storytelling festival, performing arts available at two Universities, indoor and outdoor play theaters, etc. The only thing we lack is density. If you want enough people to support a permanent, niche living art installation, maybe don’t plop yourselves down in strip mall suburbia. If you compare the populations of Salem, OR, which has the Enchanted Forest theme park, to Pleasant Grove, UT you’ve got a third the number of people.
Anyway, my family lives about five blocks away from Evermore. Jenny and her friends could have saved some money and stayed in my basement (speaking of creepy parasocial relationships...) I’m guessing that the scum on her hotel window is calcium scale. The water here is incredibly hard. Good for our bones, maybe, but not so much for things that get hit by our sprinklers. It could also be old smog residue. We sometimes get nasty smog because of the shape of the valley, though it’s not so bad now that the steel plant shut down.
Evermore came to my attention like this: Several years ago, builders started constructing two weird buildings in an empty field next to our freeway exit. They really piqued my interest. One of the buildings was a giant square block with no windows (I thought it might be a future Ikea-style furniture store). Next to it was a medieval-style chapel. My husband thought it must be some kind of event center for the nearby Hyatt, but I wasn’t so sure. I kept my eye out for news and eventually started seeing articles about a place called “Evermore.”
My husband and I are D&D players. I wear costumes to fantasy book signings. So obviously, we are the target audience. At first, I was excited. I was like “endless Renaissance Faire practically in my backyard? Sign me up!” And the big windowless building next to it, which became the GRID, actually started as the VOID, which, as you saw in the video, was a virtual reality thing. My husband loves VR. So I had happy dreams about dropping my husband off to play video games while I watched jousting next door.
The VOID opened first. Every time I wanted a gift for my husband–anniversaries, his birthday, Christmas–I’d go to the website and try to get us tickets. I don’t usually care for VR stuff but I really wanted to go because I thought VR + artifacts you could actually interact with sounded cool. I wanted to try it.
But despite being open, they didn't have tickets available for the public. I kept checking for months. The VOID would cycle through different experiences, but tickets only went to employees and testers. I tried for a year to get into this place and the website was always saying “check back later for tickets”. There was never anything emailed to me that I saw despite signing up for the list, no schedule posted of when things would be available. Nothing. It’s like they didn’t actually want my money.
Eventually, they did open up tickets for a Ghostbusters themed show, but I don’t really care for that IP, so I didn’t bother getting tickets, assuming there’d be a cooler one later since the VOID was working with Disney. Alas, I believe that the Ghostbusters game was the only public thing there ever was at that location.
The VOID later transformed into the GRID, which may have been why the space seemed poorly designed for go-karts. Then again, I see references to the GRID in early Evermore articles, so maybe it was intended to be a go-kart track all along, who knows.
Anyway, a while after the VOID opened, the Evermore PR articles started dropping. I kept seeing ads for it in the local paper, on billboards, and in the programs of various geek-adjacent events. But everything I saw was maddeningly vague. If I hadn’t driven past the park every day, I’m not sure the ads would have registered. And the feature articles in our newspaper focused not on the park, but on the park founder’s traumatic childhood. I’m not trying to downplay that, but his personal story wasn’t exactly the best marketing choice for a theme park. “My dad was a terrible human being, now come see our attractions?” It didn’t exactly inspire confidence.
Furthermore, they were obviously trying to keep the whole thing shrouded in mystery. Pretty much everything I saw just referred to Evermore as “an immersive experience” with no details about what I was going to be immersed in. Tickets on opening day were $30 per person, $16 for kids. But they didn’t release any details of what was going on in the park. Was the stuff they were doing going to be kid-friendly? What age groups? Was it doable if you have mobility limitations? What was actually going to happen to you during this “immersive experience” anyway?
You see, if they’d just told me: “You’ll see fire dancing, a scripted fight, some live bard music, an aerial silks performance, and go on a LARPing scavenger hunt” I probably would have ponied up the money for my family to go, but they didn’t say anything about that. They just were like “it’s a living video game but it’s so much more,” and I sat there thinking, “you want me to pay a hundred bucks to wait in lines and get sent on fetch quests? Is that what we’re doing?” They kept promising that every park-goer would be the hero of their own immersive story, but that just didn’t seem feasible. I didn’t believe it. And they made it a point to mention you might need to go multiple times to see the story unfold, so it sounded like I was going to pay $100 to catch an out-of-context snippet of some LOR ripoff.
While Jenny mentioned she could see OUT to the strip malls and office parks, she didn’t really cover the fact that the local people could also see IN. So the newspaper articles said things like: “Evermore will have the sixth-biggest water feature in the United States!” but when we drove by, we could see that it was just a dusty field with some half-finished buildings in it. Why on earth would I pay $100 to go to a dusty field full of half-finished buildings? Especially since I might be able to wait and see a more complete version later.
All the preview articles and ads also featured pictures of the awesome concept art. But because everything inside was so visible throughout the building process, locals could see that the concept art–like the face tree!--was not in the finished park. It almost felt insulting. They were trying to sell us on what Evermore could be, and not what Evermore actually was.
So I never went, despite being originally excited about it. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that it looked as good as it did in Jenny’s video. It looks like there was more to do and see than I originally gave it credit for (I know that’s saying something, but the view from the street was really bad until they put the wall up). I do love a good boffing circle, so I might go someday, if I’m bored one weekend and it still exists.
I think one of the takeaway lessons is this: don’t rely on mystery for your advertising when that thing you sell is mostly visible. If Evermore’s creators had actually focused on the reality of what was there and not their concept art, maybe they would have gotten some more customers.
It’s also better to build granularly from the ground up. Admission to Thanksgiving Point, which Jenny briefly visited, only costs $40 (less if you only want to just visit one attraction). It has the botanical garden (which is not free–I think Jenny just wandered around the front grounds). Thanksgiving Point also has a dinosaur museum, a two-story science playground, a working farm with unlimited pony rides for members, and a butterfly biosphere. But they didn’t start with all of that. They built a thing, got more money, built the next thing, etc. If Evermore had started as a once-a-month weekend renaissance faire in an empty field, they could have built interest over time and scaled themselves to match the community’s spend-level. But they didn’t.
In conclusion, if the park’s employees hadn’t reported being so badly treated, I probably would actually visit Evermore after the video. They never advertised the price drop, so I assumed that it was still $100 for a family of four. At the current price point, it looks like a somewhat pleasant way to spend an afternoon as long as you keep your expectations low. But I’ll probably continue to skip because of their exploitive employment practices.

q. freshly debuted in 2019, you did a photoshoot with magazine. you were 18 at that time, right? you answered “i can’t sleep without plushies” for a question.
🐧 i’m not like that now (laughs). after that moment, i receive an overwhelming amount of dolls as gifts, but lately i think, “isn’t it time to say goodbye…?” (to the dolls)

q. do you remember when you answered “i’m a mass/lump of charm” when asked to ?
🐧 wow, i said that. oh well. i am, a lump of charm (laughs)
q. haha. we’ll give you another chance to answer that question. (yourself in one word)
🐧 “a person you can trust”, “a person you’d give your trust to”. 📷 to be honest, (to become) these are my goal. i’m the youngest in our team, but i want to be someone who they can trust.

q. in the interview at that time (2019), you said your goal was ROTY. it’s been 4 years since then and this january you released a mini album which achieved a career high with initial sales of 2.18M copies.
🐧 actually, i still can’t believe this is real. this was an album i worried about the most. this was the first time i didn’t feel sure (of the album). the title track ‘sugar rush ride’ tells the story of a boy who fell into a deadly temptation. when i first heard from the company that the song will have a “refreshing-sexy” mood, i really liked it. because i really liked a refreshing concept. but then after hearing the song, the refreshing, fresh concept was only 5% and the sexy concept takes up 95%. (laughs) and the stage costumes were also really on the bolder side, i was worried if the fans wouldn’t like it. but as expected, my feelings were wrong. i learnt something from this promotions, that you shouldn’t trust my feelings. (laughs)

q. personally, when i saw you expertly devouring the stage, i thought, “this must have been a concept he’s wanted to do for a long time.”
🐧that’s because even if i had my own worries, i have to perform on stage professionally. i had to do my best (for every performance). we just recently spent our 4th year anniversary, and now it feels like any form of sloppiness (on stage) is gone. if we find something that’s lacking or needs fixing while monitoring our first stage, we’ll surely have it fixed by the time we do our second stage. be it expressions or gestures. to be honest, i couldn’t really see what i’ve been lacking in until recently. for our debut song , i only remember smiling a lot on stage while performing. thinking about it now, it would’ve been nicer if i performed it a bit more seriously on the first half of the song then progressively smiled for the second half of the song, following the story of the song. if i perform that song now, i’m sure there will be a difference.

q. you use a lot of facial expressions on stage. i get the feeling that you must understand the song to a certain extent to be able to express the mood well. how do you approach that when you first got the song?
🐧 i think it’s because my mbti is istp, which has a lot of interest in causality and objectivity principles. i’m also the type to do a thorough research on the internet when i prepare things alone and feel stuck. in the case of ‘sugar rush ride’, the big story of it is about how growth becoming an adult is being promised/vowed, but with temptation right in front of their eyes, they keep on wanting to be a young child. it’s like the children’s tale ’s narrative. that is why before this promotion period starts, i looked through and other various cruel fairytales. reading cruel fairytales helped me approach the concept in a new light because it is different from the childhood tales i used to know.

q. is there anything that made you go “ah i can also get inspiration from this!”?
🐧 the expression of when a puma preys on a sloth? (laughs) last year during GBGB promotions i watched a lot of documentaries about pumas. i worried a lot about what expressions i should make on stage as it (GBGB) was a song full of the anger of someone who was hurt by their first love, of loss as well. my dorm roommate taehyun told me to go watch puma documentaries so i got curious and watched it and i think i can say it became quite of help. (laughs)

q. you did stages with a strong rock mood for , the title following the first three parts of which took a fresh approach with a lot of synth pop genre songs with ikily and loser=lover being the representative. as a musician, when/which promotion period made you most satisfied?
🐧 my favorite song is ‘0x1=lovesong’, track of released in 2021; i listened to it in the car on our way to today’s photoshoot location. it’s an energetic song based on pop rock, but i’ve always loved rock music and band sound ever since i was little. i could say this era was my turning point as my understanding of the song was high. your skills improve much more when you do things that you like rather than when you’re forced to do it. so at that time i got excited and i tried a lot of different gestures and vocal tones.

q. you formed a band club back in middle school, right?
🐧 right. there was a pop song festival at school and for some reason i wanted to participate and perform in a band. but there was no band club at school. so one day i went to the teacher’s office. i sang in front of my english teacher and asked them to open a band club. the band members went around different classes and gathered students who knew how to play the instruments. friends at that time all liked ‘fifa online 3’ so we performed that game’s BGM in front of teachers. (laughs)
q. so did the band club win the trophy in the pop song festival?
🐧 unfortunately… (laughs). but the teachers took into consideration students who would practice better (with facilities) at school rather than outside of school. so the members gathered after school and used a classroom to practice our ensemble, we were pretty active like that. we also hung out during school vacations.
q. but why did you choose rock (of all band genres)? 🐧 i watched this film called when i was younger and it blossomed in me this dream of performing rock. it was a film about the main character being in a rock band camp and figuring out their hidden talents and then getting their first ever spotlight on stage. watching that makes me think “i also want to make a band like that of my own”. and for some reason, listening to rock makes me feel like my heart is beating faster. i am someone who believes that music has its own strength of moving people’s hearts, and rock music is exactly that.

q. music must’ve been something natural for you since you were young, right? we heard that your father used to be active as a musician.
🐧 that’s right. but it’s not only my father, my family members from generation to generation have always loved music, as so i’ve heard. naturally i grew up learning the piano, drum, and guitar. the sight of singing songs in my father’s home when i was younger was also nothing unusual. sometimes when my father performs on stage, us three siblings would go in front of him and dance. maybe it’s because i’ve been up on stage since i was small, but now i don’t get as nervous when i’m on it. i get excited, yes, but i don’t get nervous.

q. your little huening bahiyyih is also active in the group kep1er, right? being in the same area of work field, you two must’ve share some worries to each other?
🐧 that’s right. especially building up to your little sister huening bahiyyih’s debut. she came to me to ask questions like, “i don’t know which facial expressions i should do on stage,” or “it’s hard finding the camera.” at that moment, as an older brother and a senior, i helped her and gave her the advice she needed.
q. then you two (huening kai and hiyyih) must often meet at music shows.
🐧 we do often run into each other. and sometimes we film tiktok challenges together too. at times, hiyyih comes looking for me at the green room and starts nagging at me. “oppa, you should really give mom a call.” (laughs)

q. the song you produced yourself in 2021, “dear sputnik”, made it into the album as a b-side. what kind of song is it?
🐧 it’s a little amateur, but since a while back i’ve been trying to produce songs on my iphone in an app called garage band. since i liked band music, i tried to work on songs that has that kind of mood and it (dear sputnik) turned out pretty good. i made a sketch of the song and sent it over to the company and luckily it became a b-side in the album. i actually made the song with the thought of “wanting to show/give the people a proper feeling of their hearts beating fast (as they listen to dear sputnik)” and with concerts kept in mind.

q. what do you think is an important element in song making?
🐧 songs that are able to be enjoyed by many, songs that are able to bring happiness to people, songs that are able to move people’s hearts. these three are most important to me.
q. then is there a song that moved your heart as a listener?
🐧 demi lovato’s ‘this is me’. it’s the soundtrack of the movie . it’s the song that played during the climax of the movie, when the shy heroine performed in front of a large audience, showing their true self. there’s this lyric, “this is me”, “no more hiding who i want to be”. the lyrics spoke to me and stuck in my heart as if it was my own story. and because i have always been a very shy person ever since i was small, i have decided after listening to that song, that “i will show myself” (this is me).

q. when we get the chance to see huening kai’s solo album/mixtape in the future, how do you want it to look like?
🐧 there was a time where i imagined myself in comfortable clothes singing a folk song while having a guitar on one hand. and while doing so, i’d like to deliver the messages i’ve always wanted to say to a lot of people. i’ll probably sing a song that brings hope. because i find joy in seeing everyone happy.

q. starting from the end of march, you will go on a world tour around 13 cities, right? what does a world tour mean to a musician?
🐧 this is our second world tour following our first one that started last july. i’m sure it’s the same for all musicians but a world tour is something i’ve dreamed of and hoped to come true ever since i was a trainee. i still think our lollapalooza festival stage was one of the best moments from our tour in 2022. i was even able to perform with a band session that i’ve really wanted. the five members holding their hand mics, standing on stage, and at the same time the sun was beginning to set— wow… it was really an amazing moment. that moment i looked at the other members’ faces and we were all smiling. since we were all so happy. when i think of that moment now, i still feel amazed and overwhelmed.
q. will we see such a performance again in this tour?
🐧 of course. i can also say you can guarantee looking forward to it. we are currently preparing for our tour and everything including the stage production is going to be amazing. there’s probably going to be a song that you will see performed for the first time when you enter the audience seat and there’s probably a song that’ll make you think, “there’s a choreography for this song?!”

q. what are three things that you must bring with during tour?
🐧 headset and earphones are a must. i have a strong tendency to stay indoors so during tours i mostly spend my time at the hotel. it’s like a rule to stay and rest in my room even if i go out for a little bit. because i can always look outside and observe from my windows (laughs). headsets are a must because i always need to listen to music in my hotel room. and also cleansing products (skincare). if i were to give one tmi, i originally use cleansing foams but recently i switched to using cleansing oils (laughs). it’s really good. and lastly… nintendo switch?

q. up until now you’ve released , , and . if you were to name a chapter of your own based on the life of 22 year old huening kai, what would it be?
🐧 the beginning chapter. though we’ve reached our present carrier high with the release of in january, i honestly think starting from this moment, this is the real start. i have this certain determination. “we will strive and go up higher, we will show our everything, this is the beginning of tomorrow x together.”

q. what is your life motto? (a word you believe in)
🐧 i spend my days with a smile and positivity with the thought, “let’s not be unhappy people.” that’s why my way of talking became like “oh, that’s good, though?” i believe that after that word exits my mouth, even if it takes some time, the result (of what i did) will always come back to me as something good.

2004 - Michael Jackson has filed a lawsuit against Henry V. Vaccaro Sr. of New Jersey to return MJ memorabilia and close websites displaying the items.
The lawsuit claims that Henry Vaccaro obtained letters, pictures, song lyrics and other items belonging to Jackson through a bankruptcy sale involving the entertainer’s parents and has no right to sell them.
Vaccaro used to head a guitar company, which went bankrupt in 1992. A company owned by the Jackson family agreed to purchase it, but soon defaulted on payments, he said. Vaccaro sued the Jackson family company and was awarded a $1.4 million judgment, which the family said it couldn’t pay.
Neither Michael, Janet nor LaToya Jackson were named in the suit because they had not used money from the company.
Vaccaro said he ultimately was awarded the contents of a California warehouse filled with Jackson possessions by a bankruptcy trustee after paying $65,000, much of which was used to cover the family’s outstanding storage bills.
Vaccaro, 63, said he was awarded the Jackson family’s possessions following nine years of legal wrangling stemming from a failed business venture that wound up in bankruptcy court.
Michael's lawyer,Brian Wolf, said the pop star’s possessions should not have been included in the goods given to Vaccaro. Memorabilia included gold-trimmed costumes, financial documents, letters, awards, one of Jackson’s first outfits from the Jackson 5 and 60 unreleased master tapes -- which contained 26 of Jackson's songs which have never been heard by the public.
The bankruptcy case allowed Vaccaro only to get property belonging to Michael Jackson’s brother Tito and their parents, Katherine and Joe.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, seeks at least $10 million for copyright infringement and violation of privacy rights, among other claims Jackson is demanding his things back, but Vaccaro said he already has sold the goods to a European buyer.
“It’s gone,” Vaccaro, a construction company owner said.
Wolf said he would ask for a court order for the return of anything already sold.
Vaccaro said he could not comment on specifics of the lawsuit because he had yet to see it. “We’ll take ’em on,” he said. “They don’t have a leg to stand on.”
Before shipping the items to a European buyer whom he has declined to identify, Vaccaro spent 18 months photographing and cataloguing it for his Web site.
Vaccaro has not revealed the sales price but indicated it exceeded $1.4 million.

2019 - Michael Jackson: On the Wall exhibition started in Germany. It was the first MJ exhibition to be shown after renewed allegations surfaced earlier in the year
Curator Nicholas Cullinan stresses that it was conceived long before the controversial new documentary Leaving Neverland went into production.
Despite the renewed indignation against the deceased pop superstar, the art museum in western Germany has decided to hold the exhibition as planned from March 22 to July 14. "Especially now, when new abuse accusations have come to light, it's important to reassess the 'King of Pop,'" said Rein Wolfs, director at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn.
Rather than being a homage, the exhibition shows Jackson from varying, even critical, angles, the director said at a press presentation ahead of the opening: "I believe it's better to have a platform that enables discussion rather than simply to extinguish a cultural memory."
Cullinan told AP that the show “was never celebratory. It’s about the complexity of Michael Jackson, how he means very different things to many very different people.”
The exhibition features 134 artworks by 53 artists, including different depictions of the pop star by prominent artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Isa Genzken and Yan Pei Ming
Among the artwork on display is an image by Dave LaChappelle, "American Jesus", that shows Jackson lying in the arms of Jesus.
The highlight of the exhibition is Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of, "Equestrian Portrait of King Philip II (Michael Jackson)",which shows him assuming a powerful pose as he rides on a horse with cherubs following behind him. This was the last portrait commissioned by Michael, after encountering Wiley's work in the Brooklyn Museum. The artist started to execute the painting a few months before Jackson’s death, and finished it posthumously
Michael Jackson: On the Wall was produced with the co-operation of the Michael Jackson Estate and received sponsorship from Hugo Boss in the UK.
The Exhibition originally opened in London on June 28, 2018 and was hailed as an instant success. It then moved on to the Grand Palais in Paris, where the show ran through February 14, 2019.

Background: Hailing from Hokkaido, Kanako grew up on a small farm with her father, mother, grandmother, older sister, brother-in-law, and two younger siblings. Her life was fairly simple but she didn't mind it since it was all she knew, then one day she traveled to a nearby farmer's market with her parents, and she discovered a traveling musician. Having never really been around music other than the simple guitar songs her father would play, hearing a new type of music had a very big impact on her. But it wasn't just the music. It was also the impact it had on people. The joy and happiness she could see on their faces made her want to be a part of it.
