I feel like shit. I feel like I have nothing left. I can do nothing. I have no options and I ahve no choice over my own life. I don't want to exist. Everything in life feels too stressful and like too much. I can't get a job I am out of school. I don't have the capability or option to to either. I have no skills and no motivation for anything I used to enjoy. Nobody understands more. Nobody knows the real me. I can't talk to anybody. My family don't understand. I have not friends. I see no reason to continue. I am a burden on my family. They'd be better off not having to deal with me. I basically don't exist so there is no reason for me to try to. I want help but I cannot get any. I cannot reach out. I am unable of talking to people. I literally cannot speak to most people. My family won't belive me or take me seriously and I'm scared of them. I want to die but if I do then I will die as somebody else. I just want to be me. But I cannot. I have been trying for so long. I have tried to keep going but I am reaching a point where I feel like I'm going insane. I want to scream and destroy something. I want this feeling to just end but it won't. I don't want this life. I wish I wasn't me. I wish I were just normal. Or just had never existed. I should have never existed. We should never have been twins. I am only an inconvenience. I am disgusting. I don't deserve my life. I don't deserve to eat. I don't deserve my family. I don't deserve help. I don't deserve to be loved.

I received my interview invitation today, unfortunately I will be unable to go through with the interview as I will be in a LEO academy. I have thought it over and decided it is better to withdraw having passed phase II and pick it up on the next go round after I have experience. I have seen where some have done this in the past but the announcement says “ Applicants who previously PASSED all three phases of the assessment process will still need to apply to the job announcement to be considered - their passing results will be reused.” So I’m not sure if this would count or not. I’m sure some will have sarcastic comments and that’s cool but I would love some serious advice as well.

Ok so me and my family are from an immigrant background that i won’t specify but i will say it’s from a latin american country that people don’t really think of as latin america. I’m not really sure how my mother grew up i pretty much stopped asking at a certain age but i know some of the stuff and it was pretty rough but overall she’s a sweetheart with some flaws. Because of this, she doesn’t speak the best english but you can still understand her which brings me to my issues. Ever since i could remember she has ALWAYS asked me to do stuff for her. I’m talking take pictures of her tax forms to send to her tax lady (which made me extremely angry as she could’ve done them herself) made me fill out multiple important documents like job application, pay her bills , call credit card companies rent applications, just simply anything an adult wouldn’t ask their 12-16 yr old child to do for them. Then she got pregnant which made everything worse because of sisters father who is not my dad which is a story for another day. Having my sister increased it tenfold and now i was doing stuff for my sister and my mother and my father on top of that. I don’t really have an issue with my father in that regard because he only really asks me to do stuff for him occasionally which i don’t really mind.
As I grew older and older I hated her more and more i feel sick for feeling this way and every time i tried to explain how i’m tired of doing everything for her she laughs in my face and basically tells me how ungrateful i am and how she wouldn’t ask me if she knew how to do whatever request she asked me for. The thing is she doesn’t even think twice about it i’m her first call for everything she doesn’t even try before asking me, i feel dehumanized like i’m simply alive to help her in life . she knows nothing about me she doesn’t even ask her excuse is always that i never tell her or that i push her away (which i do). I hate being in my home, i hate when she’s home i never get reprieve she’s always in my space trying to be my friend but i hate her. I don’t want to but i do, please i need advice am i horrible misunderstanding daughter . there’s so much more but the fight that triggered this post was her asking me to call a number to help her get a 1095 tax form which she yelled my name from downstairs expecting me to go down there and when i didn’t she came up and not even with a hello went into her spewl about what she needed me to do.
My room was a mess i’ve been deeply depressed and lonely for weeks and i found the motivation to clean today and she ruined it . she even saw me cleaning and got angry when i told her to wait and picked a fight with me . i don’t really remember what happened but i told her that i hate how i do everything for her and she went into her same old excuses again and told me i was yelling at her and i told her i just wanted to clean and i told her to get out. she stayed i my room where i ignored her while i cleaned. she said she wanted an apology and ‘how do i feel about speaking to my mother this way’ that convo was not pleasant and i kept telling myself that my feelings were valid . my day was already going horribly and i got into a fight with my coworker the other day over stupid stuff and it’s just been messing with me since and so i wasn’t the nicest

Hi all. My LMP was 01/30/23. I went in for pregnancy confirmation 2 days ago, and the dr couldn’t find a sac. I am beyond crushed and devastated. My serum HCG levels from 2 days ago were 118,000, I just got the results this morning when I went for a second draw. If this trends upwards, I can expect this is either molar or ectopic. If it trends downwards, probably a missed miscarriage. I am preparing for the worst either way.
But my question is.. why wouldn’t the doctor check during the transvaginal ultrasound for an ectopic to begin with, when there was obviously no sac in the uterus at 7 weeks — Is a tubal pregnancy something you would see at 7 weeks on an ultrasound?

Ok so I'm attempting to play MtGA on my Surface 8 casted to my TV and play with my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connected via Bluetooth. MtGA currently does not support controller but I used to play it just fine with my steam controlller, which I still have but do have the spare USB slot to use.
So the controller connects to the PC with no issues (I've tried this both with and without a usb cable) and I saw where if you put MtGA I to you steam launcher you can use the controller and remap it etc.
Ok so 2 things, 1: I go to steam setting and setup a desktop config which works to control the desktop but as soon as I tab into MtGA function ceases.
2: So next there is a controllers option just under the play button in steam and it brings up a menu, I select my controller from the list and I am at the button remap screen. Every option I select and change to my desired key, it doesn't stay populated in the field..like when I select it and go back, it's back to it's default settings. As I said this is for all buttons. What am I missing? Please any help would be appreciated.

Many people are upset at my rather anodyne remarks from earlier in the week. Thus I have a simple question: what are the best cost-benefit studies of urban investments in bicycle lanes and other bicycle-friendly policies? They _have to_take into account the opportunity cost of the land for bike lanes, the cost of cycling deaths and injuries, and the costs of slower vehicular traffic. Counting those variables in addition to the rather considerable benefits of cycling is hardly a genius-level move, right?
Funny that, I can’t seem to find such a study! But I am not an expert. I am sure there are many such studies, so I am opening comments to all of you, so that I may pull in the appropriate references. I will then read the best study or studies, and report back.
And if by some freak chance of nature no such studies can be found, what should we infer from that?
Addendum: And people (commentators), I don’t need the blah blah blah. Don’t need the mood affiliation. Don’t need the abstract citation of individual gross benefits. Just the cost-benefit studies, please. I am sure you will oblige.

I used to live with my parents and I had the same PC there which I have right now. But my room, in my parent's house used to be on the ground level. Now I live on 2nd floor, though it still isn`t that high enough, my PC monitor just goes black, red, or sometimes white. But only when it rains or when the humidity is high. By high I mean 50%+. I know my computer shouldn`t be malfunctioning at 50% humidity but it does. When my monitor goes crazy, I restart my PC. It works fine for a few minutes after the restart but it does that monitor thing again. I have tried to find a fix. Most of the articles I read suggested to me buy a dehumidifier. I just moved out and I have a low paying job so I cant afford to buy a dehumidifier. Most of my salary goes to my rent. I do not even know if the dehumidifier will fix my problem. I tried putting the silica gel bags inside the case but that did not work. I asked ChatGPT if its a good idea to put blanket on my PC. It said, if you do that your PC can overheat due to no air flow. I live in a third world country so we do not have many mechanists here who know much about computers. So if you know how to fix this problem, please help.

What the title says. I’m in a club where we go to nearby elementary schools and put on science demos and teach them abt science. Can I count this as volunteering? Follow up question, a ton of prep work goes into a demo as you might guess. If I can count it as volunteering, can prep time be included in this?

Im 17 and need to take my Driving Exam to get my drivers license. I looked at the Florida DMV website but it looks like there's no available time till the end of April, I've checked all the offices in my county. I was wondering if anyone knew how to find a way to schedule an appointment before that or any other way for me to take the test without having to wait 3 more months. Thanks!

My birthday is coming up. To celebrate. I had a birth chart reading done, and it was really interesting. One of the main takeaways was that I am the voice of my female ancestors who wanted to speak, but couldn’t, and who wanted to live to their full potential, but couldn’t. I was advised to use this energy.
I find this really fascinating because I am extremely independent and constantly pushing back on tradition and norms. For example, I am a single mother by choice (I had a child on my own with anonymous donor sperm). I have patented my child as a single person for his whole life and have thrived without a partner (even though I sometimes get mixed up with societal expectations of having a partner). I have also pursued a career in a typically male-dominated field with success. So I really am living my life to my full potential and using my voice as a strong female.
I would love some thoughts and feedback on this ancestor voice as energy idea. For example, how can I tap in to this energy more or how can I use this energy? Many thanks!
ETA - I also learned that there is a new moon coming up on my birthday which is also the first day of a new life cycle. Apparently this is a very rare combo!

Heads up for anyone running a USB Apollo interface with the newest Autotune Pro (10).
If you have a template in which uses the plug-in in any sense make sure to verify the sample rate in which you created the plug-in/template is the SAME as the data being used within the project,
EVEN AFTER CHANGING THE PROJECTS SAMPLE RATE!
It seems like a new issue as I never noticed having to fight with my interface this much to stop crackling before (other than having to limit cpu use aswell as keeping my undervolted clock stable, oh and disabling some c states…), it’s also the only plug-in I have found that seems to mess with sample rates or something of the sort.
The static was hard to pinpoint as it began after tracking 2-3 tracks in reaper, after which it would begin after a random but specific track would play every time.
Not sure if I’m missing some information but figured I’d throw this out there as I know a lot of people find random things plague their windows interfaces with issues.
The solution?
DELETE THE OLD AUTOTUNE PRO PLUG-IN AND REPLACE IT, THATS IT!
This has been impacting my recording process for weeks at this point, hope it helps someone.

Yesterday I had an appointment with a urologist in my country (Portugal). I've had an e-coli infection for 3 weeks and I've been taking d-mannose, hiprex every day, I'm slightly better but not 100%. The doctor said he was going to see my tests and then talk to me.
But he asked me to take "Silodosin" for 1 month.
Does anyone have experience with this medication?
I went to research a little about this medicine, and it's a little strange because it works for the prostate and relaxes the urethral muscle, it won't exactly help treat the infection, right?
I've already put so much "drugs" in my body that I can't find the courage to take the medicine.

Been together for 2 years and lived together for one. I feel like our whole relationship is based around her mood for the day. When things are good they’re amazing, but it seems like I’m always walking on eggshells to see how the day is going to go. Have lived together for about a year and her OCD is getting the best of both of us. I’m by no means on her level of cleanliness, but I always pick up after myself and keep my areas tidy. When she moved in, the entire house was flipped upside down to her liking (which I let happen because I know it means a lot to her). She cleans the entire house almost everyday, gets irritated if I’m cooking, gets mad at my daughter if any toys are left out, has panic attacks if anyone comes over, and it’s created the feeling of a toxic household. When I try to talk to her about it she tells me that’s the way she is and it turns into me not caring about her feelings. When she gets home from work she immediately starts cleaning and will generally find something to make a comment about that she found around the house. She cries almost everyday from anxiety, and when counseling is brought up it turns into a fight that never gets anywhere. I’m at a point where I’m looking for some feedback on if anyone has successfully navigated something like this, and if there is any point in trying to salvage this relationship. Thanks for any advice
