So yeah, not only did I come out as the good guy, I also got the budget for the firewall and mini-fridge I wanted. Told them it's to freeze our hard drives.

Have you read the spoilers for Frozen 3 I received from a very trustworthy source? “Frozen 3: 20 years later” is set 20 years after the 1st movie. Not long after Frozen 2, Elsa(Idina Menzel) got bored of her role as the 5th Spirit and betrayed(the spirits see it as a betrayal) the other Spirits in an attempt to spend more time with her sister. So the spirits cursed her(the spirits see it as a bit of a blessing), which caused her to get stranded on the island of Ahtohallan, and to start to forget about her life prior to having accepted the role of 5th spirit. It also caused her to be unable to physically age, her skin to turn blue and her hair to turn black.
Elsa’s sister Anna(Kristen Bell) has two 16-year-old daughters, Gerda(Deneen Melody) and Karen(Emma Myers). Only Gerda, not Karen, has seen her Aunt, and that’s because Gerda has ice powers which allow her to endure the coldness of Ahtohallan, but she doesn't have the power to create life like Elsa does. She’s seen Elsa once and she barely survived that time, which caused her family much trauma. She’s the main character of Frozen 3, and she spends most of the movie looking for Maui's fishhook in order to get the spirits to free her Aunt from both the curse and her role as the 5th spirit. Gerda learned some things about the fishhook from Bulda(Maia Wilson), including that in order to grant ETERNITY to Elsa she must feed the 4 fish using the fishhook. The pieces of the fishhook spell ETERNITY. The fishhook magically enables immaterial spirits to gain the power of human speech. Once the 4 spirits possess this power, they will no longer have any need for a 5th spirit and Elsa will be free. But Gerda needs to find the fishhook quickly otherwise Elsa will soon turn into an ice statue before shattering into shards and becoming part of Ahtohallan like the other 5th Spirits.
Gerda disobeys her mother by sneaking away to search for the fishhook. The magic of the fishhook can only be used once every 100 years. Anna initially tries to stop Gerda from leaving, but she relents when Gerda reminds her of when she herself left to save Elsa. While sailing, her ship is attacked by undead sailors lead by Euron. Euron slaughters her crew and consumes their blood, but Gerda uses her powers to escape and flee to Weselton. Euron realizes that Gerda is looking for the fishhook when he finds Gerda’s notebook. In Weselton, Gerda foils a pirate with a very useful magical compass(Santino Fontana playing Captain Prince Hans) from stealing from a brewery using her ice powers, but instead of thanking her, the people of Weselton accuse her of being a witch and lock her up with Hans. The two of them are about to be publicly executed when Hans' nephew Kai rescues them with the help of the other members of Hans' pirate crew. At first Hans contemplates using Gerda as a hostage, but she persuades Hans to help her find the fishhook after she promises she will provide Kai with a comfortable life in Arendelle if he helps her. Gerda comes aboard his pirate ship “The Throwaway” in order to find the island where the fishhook is hidden. The Throwaway was once a slave ship called The Dark One. Flashbacks will reveal how he came into possession of the compass. Gerda can’t steal the compass because the magic of the compass only works if it’s given away freely.
Shortly after Frozen, Hans worked as a privateer on a ship run by slaves. He led a mutiny on the slave ship and became a pirate, before fleeing to Neverland(a place where nobody ages) for a time, and that’s why he hasn’t aged much in Frozen 3. Hans has a “bastard” nephew with him called Kai(Jordan Fisher). Kai is the son of Prince Lars(Peter Capaldi), and he was a slave on a slave ship until Hans led the mutiny. Hans was ordered to whip Kai to death. Hans whipped Kai 12 times before he threw down his whip and instigated the mutiny. Kai and Gerda fall in love with each other over the course of the movie. Kai starts shipping Hans and Elsa the moment he sees them. Hans finds this a bit creepy.
The villain of Frozen 3 is Euron(Ian McDiarmid) Hans’ father and former King of the Southern Isles and the person Hans fears the most because he’s responsible for Lars’ death. Euron captains his own ship and has a bag that's bigger on the inside. It's filled with things like magic carpets, magic beans, and poisoned apples. Shortly after Frozen, when Hans stole a slave ship, Euron sailed after him. Hans tricked Euron into crashing his ship onto rocks situated right off the coast of the cursed Island of Shattered Shards. Euron and his crew get cursed by the island into becoming undead beings who need fresh human blood to survive. Euron lost everything including his authority over the Southern Isles because of what Hans did and he gets filled with an intense rage. Euron ends up going after the fishhook in order to use its power to curse the Southern Isles army into becoming undead warriors, but he deceives his crew into thinking he wants it in order to undo their curses. His crew turn against him when they find out the truth, and they sacrifice themselves to destroy Euron once and for all, but not before Euron stabs Hans with a poisoned blade. Kai wants Hans to use the magic of the fishhook to save himself, but Hans chooses not to because he thinks the magic needs to be used to save Elsa because Elsa's suffering is greater, but he survives because the trolls heal him.
After Hans is healed, Gerda runs across the sea to get to Ahtohallan with the fishhook in an attempt to find Elsa before it's too late, unaware that she is being followed by Euron, who survived when his crewmembers attacked him. When she enters Ahtohallan, he follows her into the glacier. When she finds Elsa, she finds out that Elsa’s almost completely frozen. She manages to call the spirits towards her, but they don’t uncurse Elsa because they’re unable to absorb the fishhook’s magic. Gerda is about to leave Ahtohallan when she figures out what Bulda meant. Gerda must break the fishhook so the spirits can fully absorb its magic. Euron attempts to stop Gerda from doing this, saying that she’s stupid to give the fishhook’s magic to the spirits instead of taking it for herself, and that with all that power she can secure everything else. Gerda is almost persuaded by Euron, but she still breaks the fishhook. Furiously, Euron attacks Gerda and he even overpowers her. He’s about to break her neck when Elsa thaws and destroys Euron once and for all with the help of the 4 spirits. Suddenly, Ahtohallan begins to shake and slowly sink into the sea because the 4 spirits no longer need a 5th spirit now that they have what they desire, which means no human being need ever enter Ahtohallan again. Elsa and Gerda struggle to escape. Hans seeks Ahtohallan sinking and sails towards it. Later, Anna looks out the window of her castle and sees a ship with a pirate flag. Hans raised that flag to attract Anna’s attention. Hans gets tied up by her guards just as he’s about to speak. “Your sister is... alive because of you,” he says. Hans gets forgiven for his past crimes after helping bring Elsa home and he settles down in Arendelle with Kai, taking a job as a servant in Arendelle castle. Elsa retires from the role of 5th Spirit and keeps her powers. Sitron, who is Hans’ mare, is also in the movie.
Kristoff(Jonathan Groff) plays the role of an antagonist for most of the movie. By the time of Frozen 3, he’s lost all hope of Elsa ever coming back and is determined to stop Gerda from wasting her time looking for the fishhook. Also, scenes like the charade scene are referenced in the movie. Hans hears from Gerda that Elsa said he's an "unredeemable monster" and he's somewhat sad because he'd prefer the term "scoundrel". The snowball scene in Frozen Fever is also referenced. Hans thought the snowball was the result of his brothers trying to gaslight him into thinking Elsa was trying to kill him. 3 songs from the Broadway musical of Frozen are featured in the movie. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LOVE is in the movie, but it features reworked lyrics and is a duet between Hans and Gerda. Hans mocks Gerda for risking so much for an aunt she doesn't know that well while Gerda mocks Hans for having such a villainous past. HYGGE is also in the movie, also has reworked lyrics, and it's sung by Kai and the pirate crew to Gerda. The LET IT GO REPRISE is sung by Elsa and Anna at the end of the movie. Hans, Kristoff, Kai, Gerda, and Karen join in. Disney plans to do a tv show featuring Hans, which is set before Frozen 3, in order to further explain how Hans became the man we see in Frozen 3.

I apologize if this question has been asked before, but it’s been bothering me.
In the Pali canon, the Buddha instructs monks to accept whatever alms are offered to them except for meat when it is suspected or known to be killed for the monks specifically. My concern is that the simple act of accepting meat in and of itself, even if it was not created or purchased with you in mind, reinforces the killing of animals. Let me give an example to illustrate.
I’m a lay practitioner and strict vegetarian. I don’t live with my parents, but I visit them from time to time. Because I refuse to eat any meat, my parents go out of their way to purchase vegetarian options for when I may visit. I believe that if I wasn’t so strict, they wouldn’t bother changing their consumptive habits, i.e., “Noah may be coming home this weekend. We could get him some vegetarian burgers, but he’ll eat meat if we get it without him in mind, so we won’t bother.”
Does my concern make sense? Am I wrong about this?

Hello I am in the process of buying a small business. I am a small business owner myself but this business is older than my current business, has more revenue, larger client base, and was closing due to owner personal reasons. I reached out when they said they were closing and offered to buy their business we have agreed to terms, but neither of us are lawyers and I am wondering how we would word this situation, or if it is recommended or not, and if you recommend a lawyer what kind of lawyer do I try to find for this?
Previous owner’s life change is not permanent so I felt that allowing them to come back to the business they made in the future would be a nice gesture. How I figured we would do that is via partial ownership. We are both currently sole proprietor LLC but having partial ownership would change our tax filing status. Even if their involvement of work in the business will change to almost zero after knowledge transfer period there would be an outstanding loan. I’m not sure if tax wise this would make sense. And possibly even liability wise. What if I mess up and am part of a lawsuit their partial ownership could be bad for them. Since we also have a loan payment agreement I want them to be protected in case of my default, (I work in tech as my main income, but the business current income should be able to cover the loan but I don’t know what the future holds).
Is the business sale and promissory loan enough to protect the previous owner where we don’t need partial ownership? Or does partial ownership protect them more?
Some thing our current terms mention is transfer of assets and liabilities, business ownership % (and profit sharing after loan is paid off), consultation after transition period, business cost, promissory loan terms with late fee (no current default terms besides legal action for remainder of loan and tentative timing a default would be considered), how we chose to calculate profits (for profit sharing and loan repayment is based on a minimum amount or percent of profits), non disclosure agreement, and signature portion.

They dont accept cards and my bus pass doesnt have money either. Anything i can do?

My boyfriend recently moved in with me on a more stable schedule (stays with me weekdays, goes back to his parents for the weekend). Prior to this we’d been “living together” for a few months (his name was on the lease but he’d be at ours for a week and then his parents for a week, it was random and sporadic). His parents don’t know about me but they’ve guessed he has a girlfriend and that’s who he’s been staying with so often.
So basically the issue is that rent is $551 per month for each of us. I work three to four days a week part time at a grocery so I can afford it. He is casual at the same grocery so sometimes he doesn’t get more than one or two shifts a week. This week he only got one, and last week he got none. That’s fine because even if you don’t get any shifts, they’re normally short on people every single day, so he could take up a shift any day.
The issue is he doesn’t take up any shifts. The managers call him in the morning to ask if he can come in that day. He’ll say no and that he’s busy. He wakes up late and games on his computer all day and I’ll come home after work (1-4:30pm) and he’ll still be gaming and won’t talk to me much. And then he’ll game late into the night and sleeps at about 4am. Wakes up at 1pm-ish, repeat.
I’m worried because he’s not studying at the moment (starting a course next year) and he’s only working casually so I’m not sure how he’s going to keep affording rent. From what I know he has less than 2k left, and I’m worried because it’s both of our names on the lease for this room (sharehouse).

I am turning 20 tomorrow and in my young life I have made experiences with the Redpill and The Manosphere. I want to discuss them with all of you. I was were impressionable and their target demographic so this story needs to be told as a cautionary tale.
When I was 12-13 in 2015 the first wave of Anti-SJW content was taking off on YouTube and with free access to the internet I was able to consume them. That is where it all began my harmful mentality and my prejudice, the way those videos potrayed those people made them seem "irrational" and overly emotional.
I was blessed with "good-looks" as these people would like to call but I am and was short (5'9"), I was never able to secure a date all throughout high school and it made me resentful. All these "Alpha-males" Decided to pop-off then and they filled my ears with vittioal, I felt as if I was getting rejected because I was not tall enough or because my family is relatively middle-class. I started to get bitter and treat my friends who were women very badly. I realize later I was unable to secure dates because of my horrible personality.
My family has always been left, when I was a kid I was always loved my mother a little more than my father but as I consumed more of these content I started to treat the closest women in my life very harshly. A wedge had started to form between me and my mother and sisters.
One day when I was 17 took it too far and called my elder sister who had just come-out as bisexual a slur. My mother slapped me then and there, the only time she has ever layed hands on me. They both cried that day and for the first time in a very long time I felt the consequences of my actions set in. When my father came home from work, he was livid, we had an almost two hour long conversation in which he helped me put into perspective what I was really doing. That's incident caused a shift in me and I decided to get better, I can't harm the people I am suppose to ove the most on a regular basis.
I began a journey of self-reflection and introspection, I had a lot of conversations with my woman ex-friends and tried to improve my behavior and my thoughts. Through months and months of self-improvement, I finally started to get better, the people who were uncomfortable around me weren't so much anymore and I started to see the world through unique perspectives, from the perspective of women as well. It took me a long time to apologize to my mother and sister, admittedly because of my own shame and guilt, mt sister didn't forgive me immediately and I didn't expect her to but over the course of time we are as close now as we were used to before the incident.
My brothers who are lurking and in this hole, I truly hope you get out the Redpill is not only harmful to the people around you but to you as well. When I was part of the "Manosphere" I felt so bitter, angry and vindicatice all the time but now I feel light-headed and happy. I am still very young and I still have lots of toxic traits I want to get rid off, I want to grow more and see the world. I have a lot of maturing left to do but from where I was almost three years ago to where I am now, I would say I have definitely improved both mentally and as a human being.

I missed the call , I thought a sound woke me up but I couldn't investigate since my son was upset and I had to feed him. I realised after that I'd missed a call, called the number back and that number doesn't allow call backs.
I have never slept well, so I've been awake since then. FINALLY I'm drifting off to sleep...and they call me again at 315 am !! The nurse on the phone even sounded sleepy when I picked up the phone , I feel kind of bad , she asked me "is (my name) available to talk"? Like it was a perfectly normal time to call. I just replied , politely but swiftly that I can't talk right now and hung up.
I feel rude but like seriously ? They can see my complaint of a broken toe they know it's not life threatening /emergent wtaf would they call at those times ?
The most recent phone call didn't wake up husband up but it made the baby stir, now I'm just lying here wide awake again and now I have to get through today with maybe three hours of sleep and a broken toe tomorrow. I can't walk on my foot properly and to top it off my husband picked up ot before this happened for this Fri and sat (usually he's off) so I'm all alone for even longer this week than usual. He has picked up this OT the last wo weeks and I already was feeling emotionally drained then today I get a call from early intervention that they want to come to my house and I get they're there to offer help but my son already has physio set up, he has a million other appts and shit I don't want this person coming to my house in two weeks telling me it would be great for myself and baby to go to some mum and baby group we can't get to because my POS car is broken down, no idea when we can get it to a mechanic to look at because we usually do mechanic stuff Fridays when hubby is off. Oh yeah my son is also way overdue for his 6 months shots because his doctor wanted to delay them due to his health and then I had to miss the last three times I made appts for it, three weeks in a row because of my car not starting. No idea when I can get my son in for his shots.
Sorry , just one of those days. I just needed to vent.
I absolutely love my son and husband. I am so grateful my husband works so hard to allow me to stay home with my son for now. I absolutely love staying home with my son, it's truly a dream come true. I've been doing pretty good I think on getting through the days that I don't get good sleep. That's one thing...not amped to do it on a broken toe though.
