Im curently in planing of ring road in may. And i have few questions posibly few more as my planing are go further. It will be first 9 days (considering about 10) of may. We are hikers and we would try take few hikes as kirkjufell, fimmvorduhals as far we can get or weather will allow and return, fagradalsfjall... we receive recommendations.
As i started planing and research It looks like we will return to do westfjord and f road. 😶
Do you recomend go with caddy campervan or larger van, because of weather conditios and possible more time spent in van?

Trong bài ngày hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ cùng tìm hiểu kĩ về câu điều kiện loại 3. Đây là dạng thức khó nhất và cũng có nhiều chú ý nhất của nhóm kiến thức về câu điều kiện.
Câu điều kiện loại 3 được dùng để giải thích một sự việc không có thực trong quá khứ. Dạng câu này luôn chứa một giả thuyết không thực tế. Khi người nói sử dụng câu điều kiện loại 3, họ thường thể hiện sự tiếc nuối của mình.
Trong câu điều kiện loại 3, thời gian của hai mệnh đề chính và phụ đều nằm ở quá khứ. Tình huống được đưa ra ở mệnh đề If là một giả thuyết trái với quá khứ.

2. Cấu trúc câu điều kiện loại 3

Tất cả các dạng câu điều kiện nói chung và câu điều kiện loại 3 nói riêng sẽ có 2 mệnh đề. Mệnh đề chứa if cung cấp thông tin giả thuyết “nếu”, mệnh đề chính mô tả kết quả đi theo “thì”.

2.1. Cấu trúc câu điều kiện loại 3, câu khẳng định:

Cách chia động từ câu điều kiện loại 3:

3. Cách dùng câu điều kiện loại 3 trong tiếng Anh

Câu điều kiện loại 3 có thể được dùng khi muốn nói về các khả năng xảy ra với sự việc trong quá khứ. Tùy thuộc vào mức độ chắc chắn của giả thuyết đưa ra mà chúng ta sẽ có cách dùng và cấu trúc câu tương ứng.

3.1. Câu điều kiện loại 3 nói đến 1 sự việc đã không có thật trong quá khứ.

Đây là chức năng cơ bản nhất của câu điều kiện loại 3, đặc biệt khi người nói muốn diễn tả sự tiếc nuối của mình về 1 sự kiện trong quá khứ.

Khi dùng might ở mệnh đề kết quả trong câu điều kiện loại 3, người nói muốn phỏng đoán về 1 kết quả xảy ra nhưng với mức độ chắc chắn không cao.

Khi dùng could ở mệnh đề kết quả trong câu điều kiện loại 3, người nói muốn nói về 1 kết quả xảy ra từ giả thuyết với mức độ chắc chắn. Ví dụ câu điều kiện loại 3.

4. Lưu ý khi dùng câu điều kiện loại 3 trong tiếng Anh

Có vài lưu ý nhỏ về câu điều kiện loại 3 mà bạn cần nắm được để có thể sử dụng thành thạo cấu trúc này.

  • Trong câu luôn luôn có 2 động từ ở dạng P2, ở cả mệnh đề chính và mệnh đề If
  • Trong câu có thể kèm với tân ngữ hoặc không
  • Mệnh đề If có thể đứng trước hoặc đứng ngay sau mệnh đề chính trong câu.
  • "would" và "had" đều có thể viết tắt thành "'d" nên để tránh nhầm lẫn, các bạn nhớ rằng "would" không xuất hiện ở mệnh đề if nên khi có viết tắt “‘d”ở mệnh đề này thì đó là "had".
  • Với câu điều kiện loại 3 dạng phủ định, If not có thể thay bằng Unless
Ví dụ:
If you had not studied lazily, you could have passed the Chemistry exam.
= Unless you had studied lazily, you could have passed the Chemistry exam.

5. Biến thể với câu điều kiện loại 3 trong tiếng Anh

Hi everyone, I have a small concern that I'm hoping anyone could provide some input for.
I am a Chinese national, and have booked a flight home via All Nippon Airways to Hong Kong, with a short connection from YYC -> YVR operated by Air Canada.
The following is from the official Hong Kong Immigration Department website:
  1. Holders of People’s Republic of China (PRC) passports who are in transit through Hong Kong to and from another country or territory may be granted a stay of seven days on each landing without the prior need to obtain an entry permit
(The above is also specified on Wikipedia haha)
I will be taking the Skypier Ferry Transfer within 2 hours of my arrival at HKIA to Shenzhen, which is entirely airside and is specifically for travellers that will NOT go through customs to enter Hong Kong territory, and instead go straight to one of the Mainland destination ports such as Fuyong Ferry Terminal. Both Air Canada and All Nippon Airways are participating airlines in the Skypier Baggage Tag-Through service.
I have taken this route before COVID-19 restrictions, and luckily had no trouble with Air China. However, because this time my initial flight will be with Air Canada, I am worried about having to explain the aforementioned visa policy in case the flight attendant at the boarding gate is not familiar. I understand airlines such as Air Canada use the IATA Timatic system to check this information, but it appears the online tool does not indicate it.
So my question is, should I be worried about any misunderstandings at the boarding gate in my situation? I certainly want to avoid a situation where I seem like a difficult passenger holding up the boarding queue with a discussion.
I can purchase the Skypier ticket online in advance if necessary to prove my onward booking for the overseas journey.

That claim didn't sit well with me so I tested with two iPhone 14 Pro's with all settings equal (including turning off Optimized Battery Charging, Clean Energy Charging, and Airplane Mode). Both using Apple 20w chargers. After 90 minutes, the Apple MagSafe 15w charged to 89% while the PD Wireless Charging Stand 7.5w charged to 44%
Perfectly fine for the bedside table for overnight charging, but not ideal for my Office or during the day when I need to top it off. PD needs to update their Website / FAQ with some updated comparisons and get to work on a v2 that supports Official MagSafe Charging 15W like Belkin and Nomad

I bought an EB70 about two weeks ago. It's working like a charm, however, this morning I noticed 6W output on the display with no load, AC on DC off.

Yes, I know, the inverter will draw power even at no load, but my question is, is it normal for the output of 6W to come up on the display? For the past 14 days it never showed an output/draw when the AC is on. I remember the day I received it, I literally thought "oh well, the inverter power consumption isn't accounted for in whatever the display is showing, better determine the inverter draw through tests later", as it was showing 0W before. What could be wrong? Or, if this is normal, what was wrong before that caused the 6W output to not register on the display?

I'd love to hear what other EB70 owners are experiencing, do you see anything similar when turning on the AC with no load?

Some of my scars are still really purple and I think I'll cover those with some cute band aids. One step at the time you know. I'm going to the clinic to pick up my script and I know there will be a lot of people, which is scary. But I need to do it. This is the last fight of game 1 of promos.
TL;DR - After 4 seasons of being hardstuck Silver, I finally got promoted to Gold. 124 Games, 56% WR on our boy this season, including 11-2 over the last few days.
Please feel free to skip the following story, but I'd like to have this as a post for the memory in future.

This season started with a lot of hope and I made it to S1 fairly easily playing mostly Shen, Trynd & Urgot. After being 1 or 2 games off promos multiple times, I found myself frustrated, bored, and playing worse as the season went on. I started blaming teammates, and internalizing toxic narratives. I decided to basically give up on getting Gold, and instead try different roles, champs and see if I could find some enjoyment again. At the lowest point, I dropped to Silver 4 - this was 6-7 days ago.

Then Gannicus dropped a video talking about his own struggles and itemising with HeartSteel. This video really resonated with me, and since then I go Ruby start into HS rush. I found it suits my playstyle, and how I enjoy playing Shen. Playing this way I started 2-4, but I felt something had changed and I liked how it felt. In total, since changing to this playstyle/itemisation I am 14-7. Still a small sample size, I know, but for my fellow low elo Shens - I encourage you to watch the video and give it a go. Game 1
Sett was 5/1, while I was 1/2 early in this game, it wasn't looking good. I was able to turn a few fights in the midgame along, with some good play from teammates. The video is from this game. I finished 6/3/24 with 75% KP and 3 honours.
Game 2
This one was tough. Although my botlane did really well, I was personally struggling. I was ganked a few times by Hecarim, and him and Cho were pretty fed. I'll be honest, my team carried me but I didn't shirk my responsibilities either. I finished 3/6/14 (34% KP) after being 1/4/2 at 19 mins.

Anyway, I'm just happy to finally get to this point. I know the LP changes made this possible (but they also made it possible for me to drop to S4 quickly, so swings and roundabouts), and I know Gold isn't anything special, but to finally make it here after this many games (I'm level 439) does feel nice - I thought I'd never make it, if I didn't this season. Huge shoutout to Gannicus (give this man some likes and follows), as well as Curtis and Nathan from Broken By Concept Podcast and of course xPetu. Hello.
I've been growing watercress and I feel it's growing slowly and coming out rather weak. Commonly people seem to harvest after 10-12 days but I've been getting my fourth leaves at around 14-15 days. I have a hard time finding info on how much light it needs. I'm using only water and I've been keeping them in blackout for around 3 days. Does anyone have experience with this plant as a microgreen?
Edit: Forgot to mention, I've been giving them 10h of light a day.

This is pretty long, and more of a vent than looking for any advice. 😂
We've been NC for a little over a month now. I cut her off because she became aloof, indecisive, and outright distant in the last month leading up to the breakup. I wanted a serious relationship and she didn't. This is a girl I've known since we were very young; a friendship going back to the year 2000. We both also married young (to separate spouses), where we naturally lost touch afterwards. I always really liked her, and I knew even then that she liked me, but we were also committed to our then-relationships to the people we were gonna marry.
We reconnected almost 2 years ago. She popped up on my Instagram out of nowhere, and it was so great to catch up after all those years. I found out her mother had just died of cancer, and she had divorced in 2020. I got divorced in 2019. In the beginning we regularly shared our sorrows and the pains of divorcing. But I never thought of pursuing her at that point in time, I think because I was still working through my own issues post-divorce as a single man for the first time since my late teens.
Then things settled and we'd have the occasional chat, but that was it. Several months would go by between DMs. It went on like that until last summer (July 2022). We started chatting every day, at all hours. We'd talk about anything and everything. Fast-forward to September, and I was smitten at that point. This was the same girl who fascinated me in our youth, but now we were fully-grown adults and found even more in common with each other than we ever knew before - similar interests, life goals, dreams. I professed my love for her in a lengthy email.
(I should add that we live in different US states in present day, so all communication has been online or phone)
She took it all kindly, and even said she knew what the email was going to be about as soon as she started reading it. But, she declined and said her life was a mess, she'd be a lot of work, felt like she couldn't fulfill the needs and desires I wanted in a woman, etc. She did explain that her ex-husband was also emotionally abusive and bipolar, which led to her initiating her divorce. I understood that maybe she was still dealing with that past trauma. She also has a great job that she didn't want to leave, even though I said I'd move to be closer to her in a heartbeat (I'm a freelancer so physical location is no problem for me). But, I'm also not stupid, so I took all this as maybe she's just not interested and was letting me down gently. Sucks, but what could I do?
We kept frequently chatting daily though, even though she knew I was in love with her. The chats got to a point later in the fall where we were basically sexting, almost nightly. I had never sexted in my life, so it was exciting. Yet, she didn't want to start a relationship. She would keep saying, if she could get over her issues, that she would choose me in a heartbeat. She also told me on multiple occasions that she'd never felt a deeper connection with any other person in her life but me. I felt the same, knowing our long history.
In that time, going into December, of sexting and talking about everything as it became our routine thing, she would also get a little distant and I'd get upset and then we wouldn't chat for a few days. I wouldn't answer her messages right away, and then she'd blast me with a dozen texts in a row wondering why I wasn't responding. She would get paranoid about it. And going silent on my end wasn't to cause her frustration, but to protect my own fragile heart from being hurt even more. I know that's not a healthy way to handle that kind of situation, but that's how I did it. We'd soon make up and everything was back as it was before. I didn't want to keep pressing her on whether or not she'd change her mind.
Now get to Valentine's Day last month. We had a nasty blizzard, one of the worst I'd ever experienced in my life. My parents and I were driving home from a live stand-up show about an hour away. Forecasts said the blizzard would be moving in by midnight that night, so we were aware and drive home most of the way with no weather issues. But the wind started picking up and that caused a lot of the fresh snow to start blowing around. We were literally 12 miles away from my parents' house around 10pm when visibility went to zero. You couldn't see the road because it was completely covered. We ended up going into the ditch and getting stuck in the snow. All highways were closed and again, the winds were so strong that you could barely see 5 feet in front of you. Not to mention the wind chill was in the -25°-30°F range and feeling the snow hit your face outside was like a sandblaster. Long story short, I thought I was gonna die that night. Like real, actual danger was happening and my parents and I were gonna freeze to death. Even with extra clothes and a winter survival kit, things got more dire by the hour. There was no way for the highway patrol to reach us until about 5am that morning. We abandoned the car and got in the back seat of the officer's vehicle, and even then it took the officer close to two hours (still zero visibility conditions) to drive us to a shelter at the closest small town, about 1.5 miles back. By morning, the storm had passed and we were given a ride home, as every single vehicle on the highway had to be towed. We'd worry about that later.
In that time while we were left freezing in the car, I texted her about the situation, and how serious it was. I halfway joked that if she didn't hear from me again, that I had frozen solid like a Mt. Everest climber. She was obviously concerned and kept checking in with me. Part of the conversation shifted to wishing each other a happy Valentine's Day, despite my situation. Then I also half joked and asked her that if I survived the night, could we finally be together? Her exact reply was, "I don't know."
Not that I was using my near-death experience to earn points with her. But in that very moment (as my parents and I tried to not get frostbite/not fall asleep/not accidentally breathe in trapped carbon monoxide), I realized that even then she wouldn't want to be with me. So I decided I couldn't do this anymore. All my pining for her all these months is never gonna go anywhere, and I can't keep waiting. Unrequited.
By that weekend, I told her a farewell, said something eloquent like I can't keep waiting for her door to open up for me, and then deleted everything and blocked her on everything. I still think about her all day long, because I really did/do still love her. The tears aren't as frequent as they were a few weeks ago, but I still feel massive heartbreak and depression today. And yeah, I know it's only been a month.
It's her birthday later this week. I know it's silly but I keep thinking about reaching out and wishing her a happy birthday. Even if it's just an email with those two words only. My birthday is in October, and she sent me fresh flowers. So I had even thought of doing that too. But I know, deep down, that the NC should stay put.
Maybe she just liked the attention all that time.
