Based on the confirmed and not confirmed leaks, I have created a potential premise on how Nova can be introduced into the MCU.
GOTG3
Our first appearance of Richard Rider will happen in GOTG. Throughout the holiday special, we saw how the guardians helped rebuild Knowhere. I suspect they will help other communities at the movie's start (before the actual plot starts), where they will travel to what they thought would be a decimated Xandar. However, they come to see that it has been partially rebuilt. Unknowing of what happened, the guardians search Xandar, only to be introduced to the one and only Richard Rider, who after Thanos destroyed Xandar, absorbed the entirety of the Nova Force. The guardians exchange casualties and leave gaining a new friend.

Nova Movie (January 2025 release)
The start of the movie depicts the devastation of Xandar in 2018, with the voiceover of Richard Rider explaining how he gained the power of the Nova Force and dedicated himself to protecting the galaxy.
Fade to black, and the title card "Nova" appears.
Cut to Richard Rider (2025, or whatever the year is in the MCU), now fully embracing his role as a cosmic cop, flying through space in pursuit of a group of space pirates. He dispatches them with ease, but as he returns to his patrol, he feels a disturbance in the Nova Force as he starts to see glimpses of a house. He feels a new Nova power source has been activated.
Rider investigates the source, only to find that it is not connecting to him. He realizes that the glimpses that he had been seeing were the house of Sam Alexander. The power source is Jesse Alexander's black Nova helmet, which belonged to a secret team of the Nova Force, which is why it has been undetected for many years until it was activated, by Sam.
Rider sets out to find Sam, encountering an alien named Titus, a former ally of Jesse's who now seeks to claim the power of the black Nova helmet for himself.
After a series of battles and exchanges, Rider finally reaches Sam, who is struggling to control the helmet's immense power. Rider helps him harness the power and the two use their combined power to defeat Titus.
Mid-credit scene:
We see Richard Rider and Sam Alexander returning to Earth, where they are met by a group of heroes including Star-Lord, Captain America, and Ant-Man. They inform Rider and Sam that a new threat has emerged, one that could threaten the entire timeline. They show them a holographic image of Kang the Conqueror, who has come to establish his rule over all of time and space.
Post-credit scene:
We see the Kang from Quantamania, after being shot with pym discs, now in his new form as the Beyonder sitting on his throne. He watches the mid-credit scene encounter between the Avengers and the Novas on a screen and says “As the mad titan once said, I am inevitable”

2023.03.23 08:05 TennagonTheGM DM "Stealing" Player Characters and adding them to the BBEG's personal army

This was several years ago and I have left the group for unrelated reasons, but this particular detail of my time there recently resurfaced, and wanted to know whether or not this was an actual problem caused by the DM, or if the players overreacted.
This was at a local card shop that had bi-weekly DnD sessions in an ongoing campaign. They actually had two different tables playing in two different parts of the same setting, and was written in a way that the two parties could occasionally cross paths, and were each working for opposing sides of the same conflict (I don't remember exactly how).
The players this issue affected were at the other table, so I don't have the full context, but I do remember the rule that this shop used. If your character died, your sheet stayed at the shop for one of the DMs to use as an underling to the BBEG. Apparently, both of these players had lost their characters in combat, and accused the DM of stealing the creativity of other players. This is how I found out the rule even existed, so I know it wasn't information made available up front.
At the time, I thought it was a really cool house rule to have, and made character death more impactful on future encounters. However, this group did have a lot of other problems that I only noticed in hindsight, and am just now questioning if this particular aspect of their games was a genuine problem. Especially if the players didn't know about this consequence beforehand.

There are real benefits of transforming this community garden into more than just a garden, but a community hub. Communal, environmental spaces, especially in towns like Waipukurau serve a common good for so many. Coming together, and building a unified community approach to projects is critical in addressing the many issues that face our modern society today.
This brings me to the battle we currently face against climate change. Being a farming based community, Wairarapa has, and will continue to suffer from the destructive consequences of climate change. Together for All plans to address this. While on a local level, we have small community projects contributing towards efforts against climate change, we also exist in a global community. No singular country can solve climate change, and it would be naive to assume so. That being said, as a comparatively wealthy and populous country in Oceania as Aotearoa is, we owe it to our whānau in the Pacific to combat climate change. This might be really long. I'm sorry.
I am so lonely. I am a woman in my late 20s. I am such a loser. I live with my parents. I have suffered from severe mental issues since I was a teenager. I've tried so many different meds that don't seem to help me or I have to quit because of side effects. I work from home. I can't drive. I don't have any friends. I am overweight. I am depressed. I don't even have online friends. Never have. I have never lived a normal life. I can't afford to try new medications now or to see a therapist or anything to help. I live in a really rural area with zero public transportation and nothing to do to meet anyone anyway. My dad is an alcoholic and very toxic. I can't talk to him. My mom is depressed and never leaves the house either. She deserves a better life. She was with my dad since she was a teenager and he has been very bad to her. This house is just full of horrible negative energy and it's like we're just wasting away. I have never really had any friends. I haven't been intimate with anyone or had a relationship since I was in high school. I have always been very lonely. I haven't left my house in months.
I feel like I've tried everything. I have no hope. Everything I have tried has failed. I tried college but had to drop out because even when going to therapy or on medication I would take off running out of the classroom or not even go in due to anxiety. So embarrassing and shameful. I tried online but there were things I had to do in person to get certain credits and I couldn't do it. I have to do online work because of my mental issues. I can't even talk to people online. I have even gone as far as to try to find a prison pen pal to beat the loneliness but all the people I wrote to just were trying to get me to send them money.
Idk what to do. I used to write a lot and would write stories and kind of live through that in a way if that makes sense. I can't even do that anymore. I just have no energy. I feel numb. Every day is the same for years. My life is pathetic. I just want someone to want me. In any type of way. I know it's not possible because people say things get better but they have just gotten worse and worse over the years. I am just waiting to die.
I'm sorry this is all over the place and probably doesn't make sense. I'm just venting. Idk.

Hello! So happy to see this subreddit. I’m wondering if anyone tops up after BFing? It seems most combo feeding is replacing a feed with a full formula bottle. My son is 8 weeks old. I returned to work recently and Wfh with my mom watching him at our house. He is always hungry which was fine pre work but now i simply do not have the time to breastfeed every 1.5-2 hours and be efficient at work. The last week I have been giving him 1 oz of formula after BFing and this let’s him for 2-3 hrs in between feeding which lets me work and keeps him happy
I guess I’m wondering will this kill my supply? Should I instead aim to just do a bottle of formula in the middle of the day to give me a longer stretch? I hate pumping so I’d like to avoid that as much as possible
Thanks for any advice! Everything on Google warns of the top off spiral but I’m wondering if just 1 oz would lead to this if I am still nursing 20-30 min every 2-3 hrs.

Hello! I am an international student studying robotics and RL in a Japanese university (top 3 -ish). I will finish my undergraduate degree in September and have a few offers for grad school.

My own Japanese university and the lab: PROS: a fully-funded scholarship, familiar environment, better university ranking CONS: the research misalignment with head prof (assistant prof is ok) and poor quality of the courses in the MS program ( I have taken a few graduate level courses and they are quite bad), Japanese degree is useful only inside Japan
I am also waiting for admission results from German universities(Tubingen, Saarland, FAU Erlangen) PROS: excited about the programs and research there, new culture and language, being in Europe, more opportunities in terms of internships and jobs CONS: not sure if I get accepted 100%, no monthly stipends, and I would need to work part-time. Takes time to learn the language.

So, financially, my Japanese university seems good and it is more comfortable staying there than going to Germany. On the other hand, the idea of staying in Japan for another 2 years seems a bit boring as I already spent 4 years here and I am more excited about living in Europe.
Any advice on where to go next would be appreciated, especially from those familiar with Japanese and German graduate schools. Thank you!

Ye the ret rework made paladins awesome i terms of powerlevel - compared to being punchingbag for whole DF so far...
But howcome no one is mentioning warlocks? destro is strong and Aff is off the chart in Solo Schuffle! From what i've seen yesterday, Aff locks easily top dmg charts, and with dampning starting high, there not much need to MS effect. 3-5 mins into a game and opposition healer is OOM IF he can survive that long
And their self heals make them almost useless to target (only for interupting some Unstable affliction casts).
Am I the only one who feel this way?

I've never thought I would enjoy marriage as much as I do. I want to share my story with everyone because I'm feeling very thankful for my marriage. This is a bit of read but please overlook my mediocre writing skills. I (F19) met my husband (M18) when we were just 15 years old in highschool. This was about late 2019. We had a algebra class together. He's the quiet type, but never had problems making friends and I the loud girl who had a not so good reputation from being misunderstood. We became close friends. I remember never being able to take my eyes off of him, he intrigued me and I absolutely enjoyed talking to him. He was the only guy I could talk to that was either rude, perverted or boring. We eventually decided we liked each other and started seeing each other and going to church together. We have been together for almost three years when we got married. I had graduated highschool started working and he was in his senior year. I ended up pregnant by not taking my birth control pill. With us being in church having children out of wedlock was just frowned upon, so this was something we had to remedy quickly so we decided we wanted to keep our baby and get married as soon as possible. He told his parents right away and they were excited, mine not so much being religious and old school. He dropped out of highschool and got a job at a lumber yard and i kept working in childcare barley making above poverty level income combined. We had our wedding which was a small ceremony at our church and my father gave us my grandmothers old house and we fixed it up and moved in. I couldn't tell you guys how stressed and worried I was. I had been working in childcare so i knew how to take care of children, but I've never had my own and I was so scared. When we got married I was afraid that I'd want to tear his head off every chance I got. I was afraid of potential abuse, although he had never laid his hands on me or said anything mean but I was a victim of SA and Rape as a young teen so I knew the worst and that's all I knew, besides from being with him. After we tied the knot, I never knew how wonderful and enriched my life could be. I have never been so...cared for in my life. He was there at almost every appointment when he could when he wasn't working. He works hard and does his best to provide for me and our unborn baby. We had fights at first from just being young and used to our parents taking care of us to becoming independent adults in a matter of months. But we always talked, always said sorry and always worked things out. I couldnt be happier. Now he works a job making more than what we made combined and I got to quit my job and focus on staying healthy and stress free while preparing for our baby boy (who is due in May). He is the best husband and I wouldn't change anything. I've attached a picture from our wedding We've been together 3 years and married almost 5 months ❤

In 2007, I was 12 years old and discovered hardstyle on the internet. I fell in love and it grew into an insanely addictive passion. I stopped listening to any other type of music for a solid 10 years, if it wasn't hardstyle. I didn't care or had any interest.. Im about to turn 29 now though... (I'm American). I finally bought this 4 cd set a few years ago right before covid struck the world.. Got into a messy relationship shortly after the world stood still and left these cds in my car with the person I had been in a relationship with, letting her use my car for a year as she didn't have a vehical and I had gotten a new one.. Well I just got my car back, the relationship is over and my cds and case are a wreck. The car is an absolute mess beyond beliefe and really. I dont even care about the car as close as i do this 4cd set.. Some tracks play. Some don't. They skip. And I'm deeply saddned. This year of hardbass (2009) was the year I had specifically wanted on cd for a lot of years and I had finally bought it from someone in the Netherlands on ebay and patiently waited for months to get. I am still to this day listening to hardstyle from between 2006-2013 addicted to that time of the music as I feel it was in its prime at its best.. I can't find this 4cd set anywhere for sale online anywhere. And I really. Really. REALLY. Would love to own a better cd set then this one has become. I am going to take this cd set somewhere to have the cds cleaned. And I'm hoping for the best. But if ANYONE has a good condition cd set and case of this year and willing to part ways, PLEASE let me know!
A big part of me thinks this cd set is rare now because I can't seem to find it online for sale anywhere now. But here's my plan.
To take the new cd set and seal it and save it in a safe. And take my current damaged one and put it in a picture Frame with the cds and art work. For the future to hang in my house. I don't expect anyone to understand. And I don't care..
I know this all may seem ridiculous. But the live registration from 2009 is still something I listen too, to this day all these years later on youtube.. This music helped me threw some seriously hard times when I had been going threw my teenage years long ago and it brings me as much joy to this day when I listen as it did back then. And it reminds me of how much I have been threw, have yet to go threw and that I will always be ok. So long as I have hardstyle.
Agian. I dont expect anyone to understand. But those years. And in recent years. I have been threw many hard life changes and this music from that time still keep me going as much as it did back then.
I guess the best way to describe how I feel about this would be with a song.

2023.03.23 08:01 Thejok3r Wife is sick and I am tired. Havent been excited about the pregnancy and I feel guilty.

Sorry for the wall of text. I'm a bit emotional.
So my partners first pregnancy wasn't easy (are they ever?), but it wasn't so bad that we(she) didnt want to go through it again. Our first daughter is almost 3 now and it felt like a good time to try for a second one. That was 21 weeks ago and it was the last time anything felt like a good time. My wife has HG and it is awefull.
She can barely eat, barely get out of bed, has almost no energy, her mind is fuzzy...its a whole thing. At week 3 she stopped going to work, at week 5 she stopped getting out of bed (she tries to for an hour a day to spend time with our daughter), at week 6 we had our first hospital visit with many more to come and at week 15 she got a tube down her nose because she lost over 22 pounds/10kg in 10 weeks. Trough all of this, the baby is doing great. It moves, grows and develops as it should.
We found out the gender a couple of weeks ago (anither girl, yay) but it didnt spark any joy in me. I try to fantasize about when our baby will be here, but I just cant. In tired. Tired of working full time, taking care of our daughter almost solo, doing all the house chores, taking care of my wife, all the hospital visits, the constant worrying, having to change plans all the time...tired of trying to do everything but failing. I cant spend enough attention and energy on our daugjter, wife, chores and work. I feel like ik failing and that, in turn, makes me feel guilty. Just as i feel guilty that i havent found the time or energy to be excited about our new daughter.
But every time i try to talk about it with my partner cant. How can I complain about how tough i have it, when she lies in bed like that? with a feeding tube and constant nausea. She would be understanding, im sure, but she would also worry about me and I dont want to put more stuff on her plate.
Im not sure what i want to accomplish with this post. Venting? Advice? Hearing that everything will be ok? Dont know, but it felt good to write it out.

2023.03.23 08:01 rickstaaar What might this really be? I’m a bit suspicious…

Hey everyone,
I have been on the search for an apartment in Berlin for a couple of months now since I’m beginning my studies in April and damn it’s been tough. I eventually founded a start-up WG on wg-gesucht which has 3 rooms for students only. It is a bit expensive (700€ per fully furnished 17m2 room all inclusive plus 400€ deposit with no extra costs) but honestly at this rate I’ll take anything as I currently live in Düsseldorf and have got classes starting April 4th.
I contacted the ad and the guy replied saying that there’s an online viewing and we agreed on that. I provided my phone number and was called on the planned date. 2 guys (late 20s I would say) introduced themselves and told me they are helping a friend that lives in Switzerland to rent his apartment. They showed me the whole apartment via video call and everything looked great. They also said that Anmeldung is possible but I wouldn’t be able to have my name on the doorbell and at the end of the call they were happy to offer me a contract. All I had to do was to send my ID.
They then sent the contract to me and I was kinda shocked. It was very shallow comparing to my current contract with almost 30 clauses; this one only has 7. The landlords address was nonexistent. Just a name and basic information about the apartment. The tenancy is first limited for 6 months with an exclusion of termination. After 6 months an extension would be possible by arrangement and thereafter the notice period is one month after receipt of the notice to end of the month… The ad also stated that no extra costs would be charged! However, on the contract it said that “in case of any excessive consumption of heating or electricity the rent will be increased according to the consumption (base value: 85 kWh of heating per month per room maximum, 110 kWh of electricity per month per room maximum)” which I totally doesn’t make sense to me.
How the rent would be paid was also missing. I then asked the guy how the rent will be paid and why it is not stated on the contract… He said that the first month rent and deposit would be paid in cash until the landlord (in Switzerland) decides to either create a new bank account just for the rent or his own bank account. I found that a bit strange which is making me have some doubts. I told he guy I hope that there'll be a bank account provided before the contract begins to pay for the rent and deposit.

On the other hand, I asked to meet at the apartment today for a physical viewing as I will be in Berlin and they agreed! Appointment is at 6pm... What has gotten me confused is the fact that they are even willing to let me see the house in person, neither asking for any money upfront nor saying they will send the keys per post. I would appreciate any advice :)

The power was out. I flicked the light switch on and off repeatedly but to no avail, the lights would not turn on. Everything around the house was out. I sat on the couch as I waited for the power to eventually turn back on. Hours passed but the lights still refused to work. Silence enveloped the house as I listen to passing cars outside. The silence was deafening, However, my eyes grew heavy and I fell asleep.
My eyes shot open to pitch black darkness all around. I had assumed the power would have been back by now. I steadily walked around to find my phone. As I held the phone in my hand I checked the time, it said 9:42 PM. I tried to click the phone flashlight but it was unable to be used, the power was so low I had to just find a flashlight around the house. The faint glow of the phone barely illuminated the cold dark area. I walked closer to a shelf nearby. I had seen it, the flashlight. I reached for it before I turned off my phone. I put on my shoes and went outside.
I went to find a back-up generator in the backyard. My half closed eyes darted around following the light from my flashlight. I found it but it wasn't working either. With a heavy sigh I turned around to walk back inside the house before I heard something. In a quick moment I looked around the backyard. The sound I heard was a faint snap of a twig. My once half closed eyes opened wider, for I became startled. I waved my flashlight around to see where it could have came from. There was nothing there. I immediately assumed it might have been an animal or pest running along the wooden fence. Turning back around I went back inside.
Despite there being many houses around me that also has a power outages, I heard only silence. However something broke the silence, it was whispering. I thought it might have been something within my mind but it sounded as if it were outside. With a slight tug I pulled back the curtains an inch to peer outside. There was a beam of light, someone was outside with a flashlight. I kept looking as they walked along the road. But within a moment the flashlight dropped to the ground as a loud scream followed. I dropped the curtains and sat down on the wood floor. I kept quiet as the screams immediately became muffled. The muffled screams faded out and the silence filled the room once again.
I was panicked, "were they killed? What happened?" I thought. Suddenly my phone atop the counter bad turned on and began ringing loudly. I was once again startled as I sat on the floor. It took a second for me to react but I sprung up and rushed over to decline the call. I put the phone on silent to make sure it didn't happen again but now I was sure someone heard it. I carefully and quietly walked to my room where I sat inside my closet. I waited there for a few minutes but a knock caused me to gasp. I clasped my mouth shut with my hands. Adrenaline flood throughout my body as yet another knock rang. It was from the front door. The knocks became quicker and more violent. I tried my best to keep quiet before the sound of the front door opening sounded throughout the house. I started hyperventilating, my mind racing with thoughts about how this person opened the door. My thoughts were interrupted by a creaking of the floor boards. They were inside.
They slowly walked around the house. I peered through a crack in the closet doors trying to see. My eyes slowly adjusted and I could barely make out my bed and the wall painting. The door to the room opened and a person walked in. They were wearing a robe with a hood. They walked in and looked around the room. I watched the silent menace until it left the room. I heard a conversation of whispers issue outside. I crawled up to the window and a large group of people with the same hood and robe were walking around the neighborhood. Immediately the lights turned back on. I winced as the bright light lit up the room. The power was back on. As for the group of people, I could catch a glimpse of them walking into the woods. I got up and ran to the living room. When I arrived I saw the front door wide open. I closed and locked the door looking around the house. It was still the same. With the power back on and the group of the robed people possibly gone, I went back to the room and fell on the bed as I drifted off to sleep.

2023.03.23 08:01 flower_readers Is it too much for me (26F) to ask for my bf (28M) to come over my house every once in awhile?

My bf and I have been together for three years now. Throughout the years he has only been over my house a few times. We both still live with our parents and we’re an hour away from each other. But I’m always around the area where his lives because of school, work, and a lot of my friends also live close by. I’ve mentioned to him a few times that I would love it if he came over more often just to spend the weekend over and/or time with me and my family at my house. He said that he will try but something usually comes up.
Side note: Where I live there is always traffic on the highway if he were to drive to me which makes the commute over an hour. There would only be little to no traffic if he were to come late at night or early in the morning, and weekends. Versus if I were to come to him which has not as much traffic as if he were to come to my house.
Because I’m always out of the house to go to see him, my parents kinda hold it against him and don’t like it that I’m always going to him versus the other way around. My parents are very traditional Asian parents and family is important to us. I want my SO to like spending time with my family and my family to like him. I’ve hinted to him that he should come over but he just jokes about it and laughs it off. He also works from home and until recently he told me that he can work anywhere. I only learned about this because we’re planning a trip together and he brought up the idea that the day before our trip he can work at my house so that it’ll be easier for us afterwards. If that was the case, why hasn’t he come over other times to work then spend the weekend afterwards? His excuse is because he wants to focus on work and gets easily distracted. He also vapes a lot which if my parents found out is a big no no. I’m not asking him to come over every weekend just AT LEAST once a month.
I’m ranting at the moment but is this reasonable for me? I plan on talking to him about this but I don’t want it to seem like I’m accusing him. What should I do?

We had an instance earlier today where we were alerted of a sign in from a foreign country on a users account. A couple of things at play here:
-Country was UZ but the IP address showed for our home country, so an MS issue there most likely with their IP database.
-Microsoft Authentication Broker was the app but it apparently didn't need CA policies.
Does the Microsoft Authentication Broker bypass CA policies? I have seen this before but always wondered.
