Hello everyone. I'm looking for branded and budget friendly inline roller skates for adults within the range of 300-500 AED (since i'm a beginner). I have done some research online but the only proper option i could find was Decathlon. There are few shops like Rage but they mostly promote skateboards and bmx stuff. And I couldn't find any proper local shops for skates. Amazon has some weird chinese cheap skates and same is the case with facebook marketplace.
There are few sites which pop up on google when you search for skates. They are not UAE based but they say they ship to UAE, the only problem is shipping charges. Like 170 AED only for shipping 1 pair of skates??
Please help me if you have skating experience here in UAE. I have seen lot of skaters out there these days but i always wonder where do they get their stuff from.

This has been one of my personal mysteries for a very long time. I was 6 years old getting ready to go to bed. My mom tucked me in and kissed me goodnight. And without a second I went to sleep. The first thing I see in my dream is, well, nothing. Just a white plain world where I was floating in. But, I see a big building across from me. I decided I would fly over to it. It was a house, a very old 2 story. It looked like it was built in the 50’s. Anyway, I flew even closer to notice a very nice patio and garage. I went in the patio and found the door, but it was opened all the way? I flew inside and saw one of the most emptiest and fairly weird interiors I saw. There was nothing but a fuzzy green carpet going all the way upstairs and a crt tv with a rocking chair in front of it. Keep in mind that it was very quiet and the only thing I could hear is the thoughts I was having in that dream. The thing is about this particular dream is that I felt like I was lucid but not. It’s like I was conscious for it but couldn’t do anything and let me body go on it’s own. But after just looking in the house for a minute my dream ended. What does this have to do with anything? It seems like a normal dream, which is probably what your thinking. Well, maybe 4 years or more fly by and I was just at my house just resting after a long day of school until my mom says to come with her to work (she is a home-care nurse) and I said sure. Long story short, She takes to me to an unfamiliar that I have never took in my whole life and goes up this hill which I have never been too either. We go to this little suburban neighborhood and she stops at this driveway. I look up, and I felt startled. I saw the exact same house I saw in my dream 4 years ago. Keep in mind I have never been in this house nor even come close to it. I never even drove pass it! I thought nothing of it for a little bit. But that all changed when an old couple opens the door for my mom and I. The interior, the interior was the exact same. It had the same green carpet going all the way up to the second floor. The old rocking chair was there too. I was shook, but I didn’t express it. I continued up the stairs to find a room. I went inside that room to use the bathroom and I saw the exact same crt tv in front of the bed in the room. I was in disbelief. Letting you know again, never went this place. Not even came near this neighborhood! And this mystery has stuck with me ever since. This is all true and I couldn’t explain this phenomenon. Just wanted to share this experience with you guys.

So basically we met on Facebook on Feb. 20th and we have hung out twice. The first time we had a great time walking around town and eating at a restaurant. The second time we spent at her place playing Mario Kart and watching TV. We have gotten along really well and she is gonna make a bracelet for me with her name on it, and I'm gonna write her a poem. Facebook marketplace keeps showing me really nice, mostly affordable places in Nelson and the west kootenays and I'm just curious what the job market is looking like out there? is there a lot of construction happening? I'm a second year carpenter with around 3 years of carpentry experience, and 4 years of painting experience, are there many companies/companies looking to hire?

Dell offered me (I haven’t accepted the offer yet) refurbished Latitude 5430 (Intel 12th Gen) as an exchange for my 2 years old faulty Latitude 5410 (Intel 10th Gen) laptop. While the 12th gen is better than my current system, I was wondering if Dell can offer me Dell credit which I can use toward buying a new 13th gen XPS or Alienware series. I am okay to pay the the delta. Does Dell typically provide credits based on customer requests instead of sending a refurbished laptop to exchange? I am thinking if Dell doesn’t provide such credit, I probably explore selling it at Facebook marketplace. Looking for pointers.. TIA.

Hey y’all! Didn’t realize a community like this existed but glad you’re here. I have a 2009 sienna I need to sell and I am hoping for advice on how much it is worth, how to maximize value, and best avenue for selling. Please let me know if this is not the most appropriate place to post this.
Damage: exterior, just a couple of dents on the back end and the drivers side power door will no longer open at all.
Interior, back of drivers seat is missing, some small rips in the headliner, some scratches on dashboard.
Mechanically speaking, ac is broken, and the engine is well loved, sitting at 210,000 miles or so. I can tell there are a couple things that need looked at internally— funky sounds while idling, car shakes some when going around curves fast are the most notable things I can think of. It still drives and gets from point a to point b and has always been reliable, and I have been good about getting oil changes and other necessary maintenance. It was my first car, so once things like the door and the ac went (last couple years) I started thinking about getting a new one and have a Prius now.
Kelley Blue Book says it is worth about 2500, I have heard others say 3500. I took it to a dealership for an appraisal today and figured they would lowball me but just wanted an estimate, they offered 1000.
I’m curious to know how much is a fair price—I am considering selling on Facebook marketplace but don’t want to screw someone over, and would like to make easy/cheap fixes if they’ll maximize value, but don’t know much about cars.
If you were me, how would you proceed? How much could it be worth, and what is the most fair way to get an accurate assessment? I need to used some of the money from selling it to pay my taxes this year so there is a time pressure too.

Currently, and for the last .... 20ish years I've been in possession of a JBL DCR600II (part of a HITB that included a 5 disc DVD changer and 5.1 surround speakers.
LSS: My uncle bought it brand new from Best Buy, I hooked it up for him, tested it and was envious... fast forward a year or 2, he hated the cables lol... so he gave it to me... over a 1000 dollar system at the time...given to like a 14/15 year old...
The DVD player has since been hocked for cash...
Two of the 5 mini speakers have crumbled due to age and a good period of time that I did not use it. idk how long it was but it was a while. When I hooked them back up finnally, I inspected them and the foam crumbled upon touch. I recently was given a Bose center channel that I swapped the original center channel for, somewhat of an upgrade in that area... The main unit itself works FLAWLESSLY. and still sounds decent with the crappy speakers I have hooked up to it... I also just realized (20 years into owning it lol ) that it has a sub pre-out, and I can adjust bass and treble right off of the main panel (I lost/threw out the remote years ago due to batteries splooging inside of the remote so I thought that any EQ options were gone). Overall, the fact that it still works, the sub still jams and puts out decent bass is what's causing the dilemma
I started recently looking at used AVRs on various marketplace sites because I had thought I wanted HDMI switching , CEC, Network integration, 4k hdr ... all that stuff cool stuff, slick stuff , neat stuff, .. but then I thought about it... and if it still works, why don't I just upgrade the speakers and see what that gets me? My current TV already has 5 HDMI inputs ... 4 are 4k 30hz one is 4k 60hz...
The system itself is capable of pushing 100w per channel of Dynamic RMS @ 8ohms ... would I really gain much more from a newer amp? if I'm not really going to shell out more than 300 for an avr? or should I upgrade the speakers first, then sub (if needed) ? If I buy new speakers , will they sound decent with the specs listed above?

Hey there guys. I am currently in Stratford Ontario, CA. I am currently looking for a reliabel car with a low insurance on it and good mileage. So far the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla have gotten my attention with the Mazda being my definitive favorite. Mostly due to the low breakage rate and performance.
Only issue, is the price. I thought about buying this one: Click me! I loved the damn thing after test-driving it and thought that it would still have great resell value after 2 years (That's at least how long I am planning to stay in Canada). But then there is the 15% fee by the dealership and if I would want to get some sort of warrant that's like another 2k on top of it.
I think it is a better choice to look for something cheaper in the < 8k range maybe. I see some Mazda's there too but they do have about 170'000/km on them, so I am not sure how good they are to go.
Do you see anything reasonable on this site under 8k?

So I want to see more natives growing around me. I figured the best way to do that was to give regular people access to seeds for free.

Last fall I gave out around 1 pound of lance leafed coreopsis to probably 30-50 people. This spring I'm giving out 5 pounds of pawpaw seed. I just post on craigslist free or facebook marketplace and let people come by and pick up free seeds from a box on my porch.

This year I'm planning on collecting and giving away way more. I'm hoping to get mulitple pounds of seed from even more native varieties. If anyone is interested in doing it with me feel free to join, throw out ideas etc.
