Hi guys. I recently bought a g29. But something is odd on dirt5. While it seems it recognise the wheel, it have absolutely no steering, no matter how much I affect the settings. Do I have to restart the game to make them apply?
This is easily spotted on race like east mitten. On controller is a walk in the park, con the wheel is… hitting the wall barely able to turn!

It’s like living with someone who hates me but won’t just fucking say that. I’m not perfect but I’m better than she is dammit. Caught her with pictures of something I was doing as an attempt to help myself (growing a 🍄 that studies have shown to help in numerous ways.) She’d emailed them to herself and deleted from her phone but I saw them. She denied it until I finally asked for her phone and opened her email to show her I knew. I’m like listen chick we built this relationship on wild nights in college, I’m not asking you to snort coke off my dick anymore but don’t secretly build some dumbass just in case bullshit. I’ve spent several years trying to reignite some semblance of a passionate fun loving relationship and am constantly refuted with reminders of -typically one off- occurrences that justify NEVER dating or having fun like we used to again. Do you know how it feels to have what you think is a good date night just to have her “accidentally” fall asleep putting the kids down? Who the fuck still lays with their (7 y/o) kid to put them to sleep?? A bitch that either doesn’t care about her husband or is trying to silently tell him to fuck off. The once maybe twice weekly / obligatory head or sex is supposed to just eliminate my desire for actual companionship? Sure it takes the edge off but when she decides to withhold it there just isn’t anything left. I pay the mortgage and bills. She grocery shops and helps me with book keeping for my business. I’d rather hire an actual secretary than deal with the entitlement. I’m far from perfect but I am a better spouse and arguably better parent than her. I drop and pick up the kids every day and do much of the school / clothes shopping. I don’t know how to get over the feeling of betrayal and inappreciativeness. Yes she works too (elementary teacher) but makes peanuts and is ALWAYS just soo tired. How long do I wait for her to want me again or value our relationship? I’m here for the kids but I know that only goes so far. I’m too introverted or I’d have left 2 years ago. I swear the first pretty thing to smile at me is going to be the straw that finally breaks us. Fuck all the consequences I’d happily live in a van by the river with someone I can actually talk to and enjoy.

I don't know how to beat them, but I know you can't beat them by voting Republican. Read a book about it. You have to do something. Hello!
I have been anticipating the Ryzen 7000 series 3D V-Cache chips for some time now and am planning to build a new system with one soon. If the situation I detail below performs as I hope, I would like to use it in a Proxmox system with a Windows gaming VM.
Now that the 7950X3D & 7900X3D are out, we know that only 1 CCD has access to the large cache and the Windows Game Bar mechanism to park the cores on the non-V-Cache CCD is being used. Also, on the Proxmox side of things, as of release 7.3, it is possible to pin CPU cores to a VM.
Given that info, the question in my mind is…

Would a gaming VM that has had only the cores from the V-Cache CCD pinned to it perform similarly to a native Windows system on the same hardware?​

Also, is there any obvious reason this wouldn’t work?
While not exactly the same, the core pinning in Proxmox seems like it could kind-of-sort-of accomplish the same as the core parking in Windows, but I am not well versed enough in the nuts and bolts CPU pinning/parking/affinity/etc to make an educated guess.

It was a slow rainy Wednesday.
It was a little before 6 o’clock and the jazz band was just setting up in our auditorium when a woman with dark sunglasses and a guide dog appeared at the entrance to the kitchen.
“Hello! Can I help you find what you’re looking for?”
She looked lost, slightly hyperventilating with each response, but I quickly gathered that she was trying to find her choir practice group but her guide dog had become lost.
I thought it might have been the old globe theater, so she held onto my left elbow and I guided her over that way until we discovered that it was not the right place.
She was quickly falling apart, so I reminded her how easily others have gotten lost as well, and that I do this for others all the time! (Of course, this was a first for me).
I used my phone to use my best judgment for where else we could go, and we had to take a much longer route back to the other side of the park.
As we were walking, I pictured how frantic and vulnerable she must feel on a daily basis, so I continued to give her praise for giving it the effort and commended her bravery.
We eventually found the building she was describing, but it still wasn’t quite right.
We walked around the entire floor, looking for anything that would refresh her guide dog when just as we were ready to give up, a woman with blonde hair stepped out of an elevator and said in the sweetest voice;
“Sarah, are you looking for the choir room?”
She instantly broke into tears and reached out to hug the woman, but instead tapped her shoulder to know where she was standing, and then threw her arms out towards me, giving me the most enormous and tightest hug.
She thanked me repeatedly as I wished her good luck at her audition!
I am eternally grateful to have been there for this person, not just to have been a helping hand along the way, but to be reminded of how good it feels to do so. ❤️

Hate high school, love my friends, love my classes, but the drama my goodness do I hate it so for note me and my friends A, I, and C right we all started a cookie business easy side hustle to make money as jobs in my town are hard to land as everyone is trying tog et them you know? anyways so we started this hustle first day picked up orders and the day we went to go drop them all off was a Friday went to school C came out to my car to help me do our cookie rounds at first she asked if she AND the girls could have the first $45 to buy a vape right simple enough they all vape and share stuff didn't think much of it cause she said they all talked about it TOGETHER and the girls we all closer than I was with them so I thought nothing of it, 4th period came around and me C and A are chilling in class together and C is going on about getting a cart or dispo at lunch and how excited she was about that, 1 telling people you're going to get some substance at lunch is not a good idea, 2. She never told any of us up till that point of anything to do with w33d. Lunch comes we sell cookies at the park and make some more money all fun stuff, 6th period comes around and she asks if instead of $45 for a vape if she could have $60 for w33d for her, and the girls assumed they talked about it they all have 5th together so again thought nothing of it. C goes home and buys w33d just for herself never told the girls nor talked to them about anything they didn't even know I gave her money she spent $60 on herself in w33d and smoked it all in one night (you can buy a gram here for like $5 and it's pretty good stuff) then called all three of us me, A and I for $15 each so she could buy an oz of [email protected], I asked about the $60 I gave her she told me outright she smoked it all and so I called the girls and talked to them then it finally came to light she never talked to them about the money. So they took $20 off their shared cashapp it starts this big deal where C is saying they took her money when she took their share and spent it on herself, now she's gotten one of I's best friends to stop being friends with her over her doing a substance when her and C did it together so now she's calling her a ____ whore, trying to ruin me, A, and I life's but so C is a senior I'm a sophomore and A and I are freshman. And it pisses me off because I have been nothing but nice to C, I have been there for when she relapsed, breakdowns, and A LOT more, and then she goes and does this to me, to ME. I have given so much to her I just give and give to her and she just takes it so that pisses me off so much because of how she's acting like this whole situation is one ME when SHE said SHE talked to the GIRLS and that SHE was going to go get HER and the GIRLS stuff. We cut her out of the hustle completely I'm just so done with this
