2023.03.23 07:13 lisayufi0201 Tyson Panko Chicken Bidding

Huntay5
I want to shout particularly to Tyson's Panko bread chicken chest meat!I bought these at Costco, and they are the best and crisp chicken you got from the fryer. What makes them stand out is that they have not cooked, so when you kill them, they become crispy outside, but the inside is moist and juicy.I cook them in 400 for 20 minutes, and then turn them over midway!I also include two photos of my favorite condiments. It's like a good fried sauce, which is well matched with chicken! This is my empty fried pot: I used to have 3QT, but too small.6QT is very suitable for the two of us!
Ferrettrack
"I used to have a 3QT, but too small. 6QT is very suitable for both of us!"

You just give me a year or more information.Thank you so much.

Today, we brought back a bag of things from Costco, and I have been baking.Recently, we bought the fried pot, so I went to find some temporary and timing help and found you.Discover! Thanks for sharing.

I have to ask -what is those Heinz sauce?Britain can't see them here, but they look very interesting!
BetTorWorse
The mixture of mustard and yolk sauce, the other is a mixture of ketchup and egg yolk sauce! We call it "fried sauce" here. They are delicious!
Improper impact
They are new, but you only need to put Meo and mustard to make yourself own by placing it alone.(Or egg yolk sauce and tomato sauce, such as the second one)
Huntay5
Some people tested all the trends (Delish.com ??), and found that Wal -Mart's huge value brand was the best.I tried most, they are correct.

2023.03.23 06:52 lisayufi0196 Steak

atxtHedude
Does anyone among you have the experience of fried steaks? Is it as good as fried pan? What is your recipe?
Teetertodder
I have completed the New York Strip on my New York Strip, and they are great.I increase the steak to the temperature of the room, then brush on both sides with a little olive oil, and then season with salt and pepper.I started for about 8 minutes on 400O (turning half), and they came out a beautiful medium.I just have a thicker steak, so you may need to adjust the time and temporary workers, but I don't feel disappointed.
Swagbucks911911
First of all, the temperature of the room should be the first step in each high -quality steak recipe.
Keto
It is how I do my Chuck Eye Steak in the fryer.8 minutes. It's so perfect every time.Let it take a rest so that the fruit juice is spreading, even for the Wal -Mart steak, it is great and tender.
Olmikeyy
I tried two cheap steaks twice.I believe in round eyes. For the first time, it performed well. The second performance was bad.
Bigaggie06
I suggest 400F x 10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the eye.
Pinkyberrykawaii
I made the ribs, it's really good
Return to Fredman
Am I from H?Give them a gently AVACADO oil spray to help the external crisp.Season with salt.385 (perhaps 400 for a period of time) last 10-12 minutes, flip and start using meat thermometers to monitor, and then pull at a distance of about 7 degrees.
Kiss
Hit with more salt and some butter (if you are lucky to have H? Truly on the steak)
fuck_auto_tabs
I watched a video on another Subreddit about steak, so I decided to try it.The best steak ever.It keeps the meat moist and burns it.
jazz
Will the link be good?
Onemajic1
I finally found a good way to complete my steak. The air fryer is dry outside without cooking.Every time I use a stove top to try to get a charcoal, I will eventually encounter too much meat.I re -settings at 300
m_flutterby
Maybe chicken fried, but as far as I personally, I won't do it (but you are willing! Don't use good steaks).
Gunra
Perfect steak = SOUS VIDE and their cast iron baked. It is so easy to nail cleverness each time.
Fifty -eight
I have made a few times, and it is great.Use AF every day.
Huntay5
I like to do this because I think my control is better and more convenient than the grill or stove.
Huntay5
I season the steak (or usually a 16 ounce rib eye, about 1.5 inches thick), and then pull out from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking. Then put them in the hot space of 390-400 degrees, about 12 minutes, and turn half. When they hit about 125 degrees, I pulled them away and let them rest. When we eat, they are usually a perfect medium rare.Make sure you use the thermometer to check the temperature, you will be very good.
Pearboodle37
I am now making steak in the fried pot.Mainly because of convenience, but they are not bad at all.I make a striptea dance in New York.
Archives
Put it to the temperature of the room, two sides of salt, and then rest for 30 minutes. Then I make black pepper, otherwise I will season according to my feelings.
atxtHedude
Throw it into 10-13 and 400.Half half.Sometimes, I glaze it when the butter or garlic butter is flipped.Otherwise, I will apply fried garlic on it.
Teetertodder
Sit down after 5 minutes.Good out, moist and medium rare.
Swagbucks911911
I did it once, I like it, but I am not a huge steak.
Keto
I have air fried steaks.I have never been disappointed with them, nor like "Bruh, I hope I do this in a frying pan!" I like the rib eyes.
Olmikeyy
However, we were voted because this was a fact. You cannot get a good burnt from Friggin Air Fryer.I love my fried pot, but when people say they cook a rib eye, I will die in it!
Bigaggie06
400F 6 minutes. Then apply it in a hot pot and burnt each side for 1-2 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness
Pinkyberrykawaii
It cooked a beautiful cooking for me in the air fried pot.I just used Google to search for "Steak Air Fried Pot", and then went from there
Return to Fredman
The title illustrates everything.Yes.I am single, I laugh loudly with a cardboard and air frying pot. However, these hormone -pre -seasoned spine is always BOGO, which is two meals for me.Cook until the perfect medium!Along with mung beans, with butter, apple cider vinegar and crushed red pepper.Gentle!

2023.03.23 06:10 Kitchen_Entry Is My Diet That Bad...?

I currently am a little frustrated with my progress. I posted on Bulk or Cut what I look like after 2.5 years. I definitely need to train a little harder. Lifting isn't my entire life, I have to balance many different things, but I still want to make some better progress and get more lean. My probably is that I'm storing a decent amount of my fat in my stomach. I've always thought not eating chips, and soda, and getting as much protein as possible was the way. However, this doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm 6'2", 21 years old. I did 2 bulks. The first one honestly just resulted in me sitting at a normal weight for my height. I went from like 170 to 185. Then, I bulked to about 212, and then started to cut down. It took me a year (January 2022-February 2023) to get below 190. I have no idea why it was so difficult for me. I was eating 1500 calories in the summer between those times, and my weight just wasn't budging. Besides diet, if anyone has any suggestions to lean up and put on so more mass please let me know. I don't think I can put myself through another bulk and cut. I'm pretty sad about my progress compared to what I've seen other people doing.

Anyway, my diet. I am currently eating 2250 calories a day (still attempting to get leaner) and running PPL with some slight variation. My current weight is about 188 lbs. Here is my diet. I'll list a few examples for each meal of the day.

I fast from about 9/10pm - 12 pm at least 5 times a week.

Lunch: Chicken and rice, meat lasagna and mashed potatoes, a sub from Subway (double grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, mayo, on white), or pasta and meatballs

Snack: Beef jerky, a banana, grapes

Dinner: Chicken and rice, chicken pot pie, meatloaf, frozen veggies

Snack: A few scoops of peanut butter depending on my calories

Usually I'll have some sweets at the end of the night.. a cookie or maybe some ice cream.

2023.03.23 05:37 lisayufi0196 Fried wings in the air are people who change the rules of the game!

Crew1991
If you want to re -create, please follow the instructions below!
ptrh_
If you buy the entire wings, please divide it into flat shoes and drums.I usually do 10-12 pieces at a time.
rypcity
Preheat fryer to 360F
test
Use salt and pepper to taste wings, as well as thin fermented powder coating.Tosses evenly.
mobani
Spray the oil into the fried pan and throw the wing in.
3031983
Cook in 360 minutes for 12 minutes.shake.Cook for 12 minutes.Increase the temperature to 390 minutes.
Rayver2380
Season your wings immediately and enjoy!
hockey
So for a total of 30 minutes?I don't know if you increase the heat in the last 12 minutes.
Sunder1025
Do you mean the actual wings when you say that you spray oil in the fryer?
Crew1991
Season with salt and pepper powder, about 1TPSN fermented powder in every 6 winged blocks.
Stepyakovic
that's all?IntersectionIntersection
Crew1991
What sauce do you use?
Barry_allen208
What is the internal temperature of the wings?
Crew1991
I usually perform 9 minutes at 390, and then spray it with oil for 9 minutes after turning my wings. They appeared north of 175-180.
arrange
Are they juicy?
Bikesboozeandbacon
Does this work together with frozen wings, or better freeze and add flexible powder and seasonings?
Conner14
A Teeplespoon?
Crew1991
It is best to apply them to the flexible powder the night before, and then let them sit in the refrigerator to spend the night
Iron propeller
Interestingly, I will try next time!
Moon
I am very happy that I found this. In fact, I made air fried wings for the first time tonight. The strange thing is the best seasoning, time and temperature and all of these.Seeing 30 minutes, but I think I can stare at it after 20 minutes
Crew1991
Oh, I forgot to temporarily.I performed 360 minutes and 12 minutes, shaking, 360, another 12 points, and then increased to 390.If you want to reduce any reason, please do it during the second 360.
Snowwall
The reason I increased to 390 was to ensure that they were very crispy, and I didn't want to ignore this.
Crew1991
Even if you follow the recipes here, you can let you know how to cook wings. I suggest that the best way to make your perfect wings is through repeated tests.Every AF is different, so everyone is different. Therefore, my suggestion is to try temporarily and seasoning so that you can get your favorite taste.
misrauls
As far as I am concerned, I use lemon pepper, onion salt, garlic powder, pepper and a little pepper powder. In the first 10 minutes of 365 °, flip them, and then increase the heat by 400 ° to the remaining 10 points.A total of 20 minutes.
Crew1991
In addition, I have used some film powder, but honestly, I have not noticed that there is a big difference.
Crew1991
Hey, I wish you virgin sailing!Yes, they may be completed after 25 minutes, but only need to ensure that there are no obvious flexible powder (white spots). If you see white dots, let them cook longer. The advantage of black meat is that due to the high fat content, it is difficult to cook too much.
Crew1991
If you want to add chili powder or garlic powder or any other dried flavor, you can completely change the seasoning. Finally, add film powder and ensure that all wings have thin coatings. That will really make the skin dry and make them super crispy.
ptrh_
My Cosori spends much less time, so please pay attention to your first batch.I made salt and pepper, and mixed with film powder and corn starch. No oil. After that, throw it with sauce.Astonishing!IntersectionIntersection
rypcity
I really hope I didn't buy a small fryer because it was cheap. My biggest wings are the biggest.I have to work in batches to feed 2 people
test
Those look very good wow
mobani
Thanks!
3031983
Listen to me, OP.The soda effect is very good, but I switch to the flowers, and I think I will never go back.
Rayver2380
For ~ 2 pounds of wings:
hockey
After cutting the wing as needed, mix the following mixtures together.-1 teaspoon of garlic-1 teaspoon onion power-1/2 teaspoon salt-1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
Sunder1025
Put on the wings and mix.
Crew1991
Preheat air fried pot!
Stepyakovic
In a separate bowl, make flour mixture: -1/2 cups of flowers-1 teaspoon salt-1 teaspoon black pepper powder
Crew1991
Pick up 1 or 2 wings at a time.Make sure you get rid of excess flour mixture.
Barry_allen208
Cooking in Air Fryer in 380 minutes and 24 minutes.I stopped it within 10 minutes and turned them, and then let it shake it for 4 minutes.
Crew1991
It may not need to get oil at all, because chicken fat is done well for you, but sometimes, if they look very dry, when I shake, I will give them a little spray.
arrange
What kind of air fried pot do you have?Is it difficult to clean whether it is equipped with a stainless steel frame?
Bikesboozeandbacon
I have a more old model Philips. It has a shelf, I am.Whether stainless steel, it is positive.I have to use oil injection to ensure that everything will not stick, so
Conner14
Wow, I found my wings cooked after 375 minutes.I really need to try film flour. These look great.
Crew1991
Yes, there may be a variety of different temperature combinations to play a role.My machine is directly from 360 to 390 (the older model Philips), so I have some restrictions.
Iron propeller
What temperature and how long?
Moon
Preheat the fryer to 360 and add a wing.Cook for 12 minutes.shake.Boil 12 again at 360.Then increase the heat to 390 for 6 minutes.
Crew1991
[delete]
Snowwall
I might use the wrong shorthand, but I did not really measure it.I just put on all wings with thin coatings.
Crew1991
The title illustrates everything.Yes.I am single, I laugh loudly with a cardboard and air frying pot. However, these hormone -pre -seasoned spine is always BOGO, which is two meals for me.Cook until the perfect medium!Along with mung beans, with butter, apple cider vinegar and crushed red pepper.Gentle!

Mazda CX-90 is made of high-quality materials, which is our most luxurious SUV so far. From the available NAPPA leather pruning seats and cross -view sunroof to optional (when we say you will like it, please believe us) Japan's kakenui sewing, each exquisite details will invite you to enter. However, design is only part of the story -Mazda CX -90 has the most powerful engine of our so far.Due to its performance -oriented platform, our flagship 3 -line SUV performs clever processing and has a rear biased AWD layout, which can provide a highly responding, exciting drive.
Crew1991
In order to reveal the design, engineering and artistic nature behind the CX-90, we have created a series of videos to introduce the design and performance and the disclosure of the SUV itself in detail. We call it an unpacking series of record companies (UNBOXED UNBOXED) with the reaction and thoughts of industry leaders, such as automobile manufacturers and master mechanical ant Anstead, international film star Hiroyuki Sanada, and indoor designer Becki.Owens.But why do you stop there? Here, you will hear Jay Chen, the manager of the design senior executive Yasutake Tuschida and PowerTrain Performance, who will pull the curtains on the design, performance and inspiration behind CX-90.
Crew1991
The Mazda CX-90 is the most ambitious and powerful tool for us to date. It is designed as the same way as it operates. It provides three power assembly options. Our first plug -in hybrid power assembly and 3.3 -liter turbine rack 6 engine have two different powers. These three power sources come from the unremitting spirit of dedication to enhance and expand every motivation and evoke every emotion of them.
Crew1991
Turbine inline 6 engine It is a long -term design of performance enthusiasts, because of its unprecedented balance and stable power transmission.CHEN explains in detail: "The advantage of inline 6 is the smooth transportation of power and peace torque curves and self -confident exhaust notes. This can give the driver's ability at any speed, thereby improving the experience of ordinary drivers."
ptrh_
Through passion and precision, we are eager to integrate life into the form of cars.We adopt the full advantages of Mazda CX-90's large platform and position, and improved the outer outside of the signature carving to deepen the interaction of light and shadow. The CX-90 actively absorbs and reflects the beauty of the surrounding world, so it never looks twice in shape or color. In this way, it allows your relationship to develop with each new encounter.
rypcity
Tasida said: "We want to create a sports design instead of discounting on the spacious interior cabin." "Generally, the sports design has a close internal wooden house. The CX-90 has three lines of space."
test
The designer Chen said: "All the power assembly options of the CX-90 are designed as an exciting and exciting steering wheel." "Inline 6 Turbo benefits from its flat torque curve, providing high at most speeds provides high at high speeds provided high at high speeds. The horizontal torque, even if the vehicle is everywhere, the driver's confidence also makes the driver confident when merging or overtaking. Our PHEV provides a similar feeling, with excellent torque, but it increases in the EV mode alone. The ability to travel short -distance travel makes your fuel storage tank further. "
mobani
In order to emphasize the elegance of the CX-90, we have developed a new Takuminuri color called Artisan Red Premium.1 This deep, exquisite shadow highlights the strength and beauty of the form formed by the vehicle through the world, and constantly presents new color expression.
3031983
According to Chen, "The red image of the color craftsman is like the old wine made by the best winemaker." The design uses a dynamic body surface effect. When the light is hit, I see vivid red, in the shadow, in the shadow, in the shadowThe red appears deeper. In this way, the body structure is emphasized."
Rayver2380
In order to create a space for the unique physical characteristics of the Inline 6 engine, the CX-90 has a slender hood series, and then creates an extended outline and larger canvas for our designer to develop the solemn configuration file of the CX-90EssenceAs a result, a form that can be identified immediately, through its bold and command positions to evoke power and agility.
hockey
So what is the inspiration behind Mazda CX-90 immediately labeling?"The design is inspired by the powerful natural landscape. We hope that the design has a strong appearance, command and dynamic ratio, making it seem ready to take off." Tasida agreed."'Beauty with dignity' is our design concept. A proud, thicker face and a large proportion of the dignity together. The color provides a changing reflection, which can evoke a beauty."

2023.03.23 05:15 lisayufi0201 Fried pot and conversion oven

0ddlyc4nt3v3n
I hope this is not a stupid question, but I really want an answer.:-)
BetTorWorse
I have a stream oven and like it.I have no fried pot.I have an IP pot, hate it.
Carbrewr84
But I like to see everyone cooking with air fried pots.Is there any reason to get the fryer when I have a stream of the oven?
Pumpkin 9inch
If so, why?Thank you so much.
Timmtrav
Initially, I think you are the same as the same thing as the stream oven as the air fryer. It is because of me that I have fired an air fried pot for a whole year.I can now tell you that the two are very different -the universality of the air frying pot is very large, and it can produce very similar results of the fried fried pots that have no trouble, oil, maintenance and chaos. In addition, this is a meal -sized countertop equipment that does not heal the kitchen in summer. The cooking speed is faster than the stream oven, and it is usually the only item for your cooking meals, so the cleaning work can be minimized. In the end, I bought an extra thing to work with me.As for the high -pressure cooker -this may be because you don't like stress cooking, or you may not like countertop equipment.Personally, I like them and have 8QT ninja Foodi.I hope all this will help -I regret waiting.
Roareatsleep
Thanks.I don't mind countertop equipment.I will yield and buy one.Find which one now.:-)
mo_macks
I think IP will be caused by food is not crispy.I like to complete the protein and vegetables in the stream oven.
Macdwannabe
Ibid (except food part)
0ddlyc4nt3v3n
I have a stream of oven at home, and my air fryer is also used 10 times.
BetTorWorse
It was smaller and the result was heated faster. The flow fan on the air rack seems to be much stronger, so the effect of the current is more obvious.
Carbrewr84
The basket is easier to clean and allows the airflow around all foods to try to cause a lot of confusion in the stream oven.
Pumpkin 9inch
I still use the stream oven, but eat bigger meals. When I want to cook soybean and cheese Mexican Bakery, some chicken bids or wings, or other "me and wife" meals, fried chicken is now my first choice.
Timmtrav
The main difference (except for convenient factors) is blowing from top to bottom. It uses gravity and airflow to fill the excess oil at the bottom. In the air fryer, the bottom of the bottom of the oil and heat source is relatively fast and prevent burning. In addition, the food is suspended, so if you need to flip, you can shake the entire cage if you need to flip.Basically, you can perform any fried pot recipes in the conference oven, but it is usually slower to clean up.The biggest advantage of connecting the oven is that you can control more calories. You will notice that all the photos on the submarine have almost no black spots on food. Now I know this is very fashionable: (But, if you want your food to be strictly golden yellow, the oven will provide you with more control.
Roareatsleep
Convenience is the biggest factor. Its heating is very fast and the cooking is fast.I also think it exudes less smell. My children like breakfast sausages, but I hate how it dirty the whole house in the more than a day.I opened the fried pot in the sausage, and smelled the explosives almost in 7-8 minutes ... And, if I don't have to, I don't want to open the oven in the summer. This incident does not emit calories on the outside.
mo_macks
Same as above.I use air fried pots almost every day, and there are very few on the oven.
Macdwannabe
It heated faster and does not make the house get hot.
0ddlyc4nt3v3n
The disadvantage is that it is small, so I can't cook a ton.It is very suitable for dinner of 1 or 2, but if I want to cook more, I will use the oven.

I like my empty fried pot and smart oven. They are different from the public, but you can get almost the same results from the two.

Corned Beef
I read the posts here but 1st time posting. I started SV-ing couple years ago in my Instant Pot. Steaks, pork, chicken and a sear. All good to me, hubby says "It' ok". Last fall I borrowed my step son's IC setup, stick and bin, for a top round roast. It was good but hubby doesn't notice any difference from other cooking methods. He's a traditional stove/oven cooker and summer time griller; I can't wait for summer! I am the meal maker and love my Instant Pot. "SANTA" bought me an InkBird on Black Friday. This is my setup but the cover is new this time. I was using foil before. Today we ate 2.75# point cut Corned Beef. I chose 131/72 (from my FB group) after much research; I totally overthink. I loved it. Tasty, firm, sliced nicely esp for sammies & hash later. Hubby liked it but he's used to the stringy boiled dinnah as am I. I didn't sear since I had veggies to cook with the bag juices in my Instant Pot and biscuits to bake in the oven. It was fine without searing EdIT: I guess pics out of order. Like I said 1st time posting

Hey you guys, how's it going?

I felt gross today but went to work anyway. The decongestant spray has been very helpful for breathing through my nose. My coworker recommended massaging my face around the sinuses to make them drain. I'll try it in the shower. I guess I could use the squeeze bottle nose rinse thing, but that feels like inhaling water (I mean I guess you are) and it's just unpleasant. I'd rather rub my face around and blow my nose. At least I think that's how it works? I guess I'll find out.

I did a bunch of stuff including the annual anti-harassment training. Good times. Every year I do this training and every year when they get to workplace bullying I think about how I was treated while pregnant. Bad feelings, man. I've got a few more mandatory trainings to do. One on fire extinguishers and one on office safety. Tripping/fall hazards, how to pick things up, etc.

I tried to listen to the haystacks & Hell podcast, which is a podcast by ex-SDAs, that I just discovered thanks to exAdventist but I just wasn't into it today. I didn't listen to music, either. Everything's just too loud and I'm too tired for it right now.

On Amazon I somehow got a $3 credit for any ebook (or book?) and I used it to get an ebook of "Instant Pot recipes for 2" that got good reviews. One of the reviews says that the book tells you how to scale up the recipe in case you need to make it for more people, which is super helpful. I hope I find some recipes I like. That means I actually have to read it, I guess. I tend to collect ebooks and not finish them. I guess I've been doing that to most books, lately. I'm working on that, though! I've put reading on my self-care list (because I've progressed beyond the basic survival type of self care). Now I'm making it hpapen.

Tonight is hair washing night, my least favorite. It's tiring. And it takes forever to dry. Maybe I'll sit by the space heater like I did Sunday. I can read that ebook lol.

Dinner is chicken with some "Japanese bbq marinade" (which I think is probably teriyaki with a few more ingredients), rice, veg. Exciting. Bub will eat the rice and veg, at least. And maybe some chicken nuggets.

Bills are coming due soon. Fortunately D gets a check this week. Unfortunately my next check will be small, again. I've gotta go to work for the rest of the week.

How are you today?

2023.03.22 20:55 EatinSLOCal Del Monte Cafe - Review

Del Monte Cafe - Review
Background:
History, for what feels like a small college town, there are a lot of historic spots sprinkled around it. Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, the mission downtown was founded in 1772. The Motel Inn, the world’s first motel was opened in 1925, and is now the admin building for the Apple Farm Inn. Cal Poly was originally founded in 1901 as the California Polytechnic School. And today’s subject, the Del Monte Café, was originally the Del Monte Grocery, which was also founded in the early 1900s.
Whole Grilled Crab Sandwich with Housemade Fries
Setting:
📍1901 Santa Barbara Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
In 1981 the doors opened at the Del Monte Café, remodeled from the boarded up Del Monte Grocery that went inactive in the 1950s. The café is styled as a 1930s diner, serving homestyle food made from fresh, local ingredients and food. Inside you’ll find classic booths as well as a bar top counter with stools, and outside there is a nice patio with outdoor seating. They are back to their normal operating hours, Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 7 PM, Saturday & Sunday 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Dine-in or Take-out available. Breakfast available until 4 PM on weekdays, Lunch starts at 11 AM weekdays and Noon on weekends. Dinner is served weekdays from 4:30 to close.

Menu/Selection:
The Breakfast Menu has every classic diner breakfast you can think of from multiple protein options and Eggs, Chicken Fried Steak, a Ham Scramble, pancakes, a Continental Breakfast, and Quiche Lorraine, to more modern breakfasts like a Fried Egg Sandwich, Chorizo Burrito, Sweet Potato Pork Hash, Breakfast Bagel, and Granola Float. Or course there is also nine different omelette options including avocado and bay shrimp, green chile and cheese, a western, and more. The Lunch Menu has seven salads, including a Chef Salad, Taco Salad, and Cobb Salad, multiple burger options, a patty melt, the omelettes again, chili, and twelve sandwich options including a French Dip, Grilled Crab Sandwich, a Club, Reuben, BLT, Turkey Melt, and more, each sandwich/burger option comes with housemade fries or a side salad. Finally, for the Dinner Menu, there is Fish & Chips, Grilled Liver & Onions, Pot Roast, Meat Loaf, the Chicken Fried Steak again, Pork Roast, Chicken, and a Vegetable Platter.
Cup of Chili
What I Had:
I came in for lunch, so I had a cup of chili and a whole order of the Grilled Crab Sandwich with the housemade French fries. The cup of chili came topped with cheese, green onion greens, and red onion, as well as two sides of saltine cracker packages. Instinctually, I crushed one bag of the crackers and poured it on top thinking I was eating chowder for a second. The chili was a meat and bean chili, with ground beef and what I think was Pinto beans. At first I thought the toppings would be a little much (two types of onions?), but they really brought an extra dimension to the chili I didn’t expect. Also having the warm chili on a chilly day felt good. The Grilled Crab Sandwich and housemade fries I ordered because I’ve been missing these crab melts I used to get on the Oregon Coast as a child. It is made of crab, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, and onions on sourdough. The onions are a slice of whole grilled red onions, which is a strange choice, while I can see raw red onions being in a crab salad, the whole grilled slice of red onion where semi-caramelized, but doesn’t add a lot of flavor that way. The tomato was placed on the bottom of the sandwich, which came out at the same time as the chili which I ate first, which meant the bottom of the sandwich became soggy as it waited to be consumed. The sourdough was toasted perfectly, but the tomato’s juices started to soak through the bottom leaving it part mushy. None of these are a deal breaker, as I enjoyed the sandwich and the crab was delicious, but it was a very simple, diner style preparation – toast, cheese, crab, onion tomato, bread. The fries were good, but they weren't uniformly cut so the thicker ones were under fried while the thinner ones were tasty and crisp!

Would I Have It Again:
I’m coming back for dinner and getting that liver and onions, baby! Del Monte Café is a charming throwback to a classic style diner with food made in that classic way with fresh and local ingredients. The staff is nice and there seems to be friendly, regular diners sprinkled throughout the café. If you’re looking for a comforting, old school meal in a comfortable café diner, this is the place for you. So with all that in mind, Del Monte Café gets an Eatin’ SLOCal rating of – Give it a Try!

2023.03.22 15:26 manda86oh5 Advice on setting boundaries with neighbors who are also family

Hello all and thanks in advance. I am 36 year old woman and live in a second floor condo I have owned for almost 10 years. It's just me and my cat. I live a very active and fulfilling life but my house is my quiet sanctuary. It's where I go to be alone and be quiet and decompress. The condo below me has been owned by family friends for years but they had a new job opportunity and have to move away temporarily for it. They don't want to sell their condo so they are renting it. My brother found out and contacted this family friend about renting it and they agreed.
I admit it will be good for my brother and his family, he and my sil have terrible credit and two young kids and two dogs. This is a bit of a downsize for them but one I think they need if they want to rebuild their credit and get their finances in order so they can maybe someday own a house. I want this for them I do.
The issue comes with my brother and SIL having a long history of taking advantage of family in the past. They seem to think that because they have children that people who do not have children should be free to help them. I would absolutely not mind watching the kids if it's an emergency, or if I am asked and given proper notice, or if they are stuck in traffic and need me to let the dogs out, nbd, but I feel like they are going to expect me to change my life to help them and watch their children. I work from home a few days a week and my sil will see this as a "so you can watch the baby for a couple of hours?" Which I cannot. When I am working I am working I do not have time to chase a toddler around my small house disturbing my old cat who has a brain tumoseizures and is in the last bit of his life (and yes I am taking the best care of him and he is doing well all things considered).
I love my bro and sil and I love my nephew and my neice and I even love their dogs, but I also know from growing up with my brother if you give him an inch he will take a mile, and my sil is always looking for a way to cheaply off load her children any chance she can get, which in a way I understand because a five year old and 1.5 year old is a lot, but I am also of the opinion that they decided to have these children and take on the responsibilities that is having children. I do not have children because it is not a responsibility I wish to take on (atleast currently I may look into being a foster parent down the road). My sil is very sensitive and I'm worried she will take offense to any formal boundary setting I do but I also want them to understand that this is not an option for free child care or that I will just be available to help all the time.
I am excited to have them literally downstairs from me for some things. I love to bake/cook as a stress relief and I love sharing my concoctions and can just plate up some cookies and take them downstairs, if I do a big crock pot meal I can offer them some so I don't have a ton of leftovers. I just don't want my life to change too much. I've done a lot right with my finances and my life and I finally get to live the way I want to live after many years of being unhappy I'm in a good place and really enjoy my quiet sanctuary.
Any advice on how to talk to my bro and sil about this is appreciated.

I'm having a beast of a time trying to find decent crock pots in my community and don't really feel like spending $$$ on a crock pot I'm just using to make soap. But I do have a roaster. Has anyone used a roaster to make HP soap?? Is it even feasible? Also wondering if it would be possible to render my lard and tallow in a roaster as well

2023.03.22 12:49 7ransparency What brilliant idea of yours backfired?

This happened 15mins ago, perhaps more suited for a today I fucked up instead.
I make 2 dozen Mayak soft boiled eggs frequently, and the peeling of the eggs is just a necessary evil that I accept and have to contend with.
There I was, having had a few glasses of wine, thought, why don't I shake the eggs in mass in the pot, wouldn't that save me a grand amount of time, I'm an absolute genuis. Those far more clever than I whom can see where this is going I applaude you.
Brought a pot to boil, 2 dozen eggs in, timer for 6 mins, exciting times. Timer went off, tipped out the hot water and in goes cold water and I shoke it. Explosion of yolks and whites everywhere inside the pot, I lost at least a dozen egg as they got muddled up with the water and was gross and went in the bin.
I'm so sorry chickens whom laid those eggs.

Easy budget soup with recipe for one person
I had already started eating and then remembered I could post.
Ingredients: 1 instant noodles with it's seasoning packet 2-3 big jalapeños ½ a carrot 1 chicken bouillon cube OR 2tbsp of powdered soup(I used the knorr minestrone one) 2 garlic cloves (I used 4,depends on you) 1 teaspoon of ginger (beware, it adds spice) 1 average sized onion 2 tbsp of spring onions including the white parts.
How to:
  1. Crush the uncooked noodles. You can also use only half of it like I did.
  2. Dice or however you want to cut your garlic and onion. Bring into a stock pot with a little bit of oil, let cook on small heat.
  3. After 2-3mins add the carrots and jalapeños(remove the seeds) that you've cut to your liking.
  4. Add about 500ml-550ml of water and let boil until the carrots start to soften. (if you're using chicken broth cube, add it now) While it's starts to boil add the seasoning packet of your noodles and salt if needed. Add the spring onions.
  5. If you're using powdered soup, gently add it on top of the BOILING broth and DO NOT MIX IT or it will create clumps.
  6. Finally add your crushed noodles and let it cook.
What you can also add:
You can drop an egg in there (egg drop soup style)
Potatoes
Tomatoes that you will cook along the onion and garlic until it becomes soft.
Chicken
Fish balls
Whatever you want too.

2023.03.22 04:06 Decent-Outcome5144 10 Day Progress Coming off PPI Omeprazole after 10 years

I wanted to share my daily progress for those that are interested in coming off PPIs. Reading about the acid rebound effects can be scary, so I wanted to offer my experience and provide some data points.
Background: 41(M) took Pantoprazole 20mg for several years and then Omeprazole 20mg for the last few years.
How did it start? I am a little fuzzy on this but I remember my heartburn sticking with me more and more over time. I would have some tightness and discomfort after drinking coffee. My PCP at the time prescribed Pantoprazole and then everything went back to the norm.
How bad did it get? About 4 years ago, I was trying to wean my PPI medication but I did not have the goal of coming off completely. I thought it would be nice to take the medication every other day or skip a couple days. Fast forward to one evening with Chili for dinner, it was very hearty and hot and I ate it very quickly. I was in a lot of discomfort and it felt like all the food was backed up severely. I had never experienced anything like that, so I made a GI appointment and that brings me to the following diagnosis.
Clinical Diagnosis: Following a 2019 endoscopy: GERD, Dysphagia. Normal esophagus. Normal duodenum. Few benign polyps were removed.
Dietary Adjustments: Stopped daily coffee and soda intake. Staying away from red sauce and 10 feet away from Chili.
General Exercise: 20 min stationary bike, 1 minute plank, 8 chin-ups, optional 40-60 crunches. The crunches can give me GERD symptoms, so avoiding those in this acid rebound period until everything stabilizes. About twice a week.
Expected Plan: Discussed with my GI doctor (of course). Wean for 10 days taking PPI every other day. Then, stop PPI usage and use H2 blocker as needed.
Realized Plan: The weaning period was not bothering me, so I decided to stop PPI usage earlier and off we go...
Daily Progress:
Day 0 - Medications {PPI,H2}. Had IHOP for breakfast. Feeling some tightness. Took Pepcid Complete.
Day 1 - Medications {None}. Goodbye PPI. Stomach feels warmer in the morning. Doing ok overall.
Day 2 - Medications {H2}. Stomach continues to feel warm. Took Pepcid before Happy Hour. Had 1 drink and some quesadillas.
Day 3 - Medications {H2}. For lunch I had chicken pot pie and a Twix candy bar. Both the left and the right Twix. Lots of physical discomfort. Took Pepcid right away. I was overly confident in how I thought I was progressing. Additional discomfort when my wife found out I had Twix and did not save any for her. Two for me. None for her.
Day 4 - Medications {None}. Slept well. Mild globus sensation in throat. Deep breathing helped. There is no spoon. Feel ok overall. Had salmon, potatoes, and vegetables for dinner. Throat is a little scratchy. Exercised.
Day 5 - Medications {None}. Slept well. No more globus sensation. Pretty good day.
Day 6 - Medications {None}. Slept well. Faint throat tingle. Breakfast biscuit, eggs, bacon, sausage. A little decaf coffee. Burps had hints of acidity but not bothersome.
Day 7 - Medications {None}. Slept well. Burps continue to have a hint of acidity. Some bloating/pressure sensation but not uncomfortable at all.
Day 8 - Medications {None}. AM Feeling better overall even after meals. Some faint warm stomach sensations. Burps are less often. For dinner I had Chicken Wings, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, and a handful of chocolate pretzels. Had moderate tightness/discomfort about 2 hours after the meal but subsided within 5-10 minutes. Then a warm stomach sensation. I think chocolate is trying to send me a message. Exercised.
Day 9 - Medications {None}. Continue to sleep well. Feeling very little symptoms. Dinner was quiche with spinach, eggs, tomatoes, and cheese. Not feeling discomfort. Some burping.

I didn't think to take a picture of it so I added some I found online. I was at Goodwill today and I saw a Martha Stewart DVD in a snapper case that used clear plastic. I've never seen a clear 1 before. I almost bought it just to have it, and I'm still considering going back tomorrow to pick it up. not sure how common these were. 2023.03.22 02:40 AutoModerator Podcast Weekly Thread Recap 3/21

3/21/23 Podcast Recap- -

I was going to make this clean and reorganize it with the key takeaways, but for this week it feels very fitting to write this out in which the order she talked about things, as it is that chaotic. She jumped around in the story quite a bit, and rambled about the most random of things.
Kayla explains how the podcast will work-
- She will have guests on for shorter segments, but there will be a 52 week long segment for her story
- Will go over every hour, every second, every text of her relationship.
- Will go over her childhood, her previous relationship, and how she got where she is today
18 years old-
Was in a physically abusive relationship, and had been planning the breakup since January, then goes onto talk about her childhood and where she lives (irrelevant)
9 years old-
is when her mom found jesus, and then they became healthy and organic and “sucked away all happiness of a childs life away”. She made SPAGHETTI SQUASH… “like ew, disgusting”
In California life was okay, made friends, did good in school, but then learned she would be moving to Japan, even though her mom had promised she would not have to move, so she threw away her ice cream cone. This is when the nightmares started. No one in her family died other than when she was in Japan.
12 years old-
This is when the panic attacks started, after 32 hours of travel, locked onto an island with kids who abused her. It was so small you could walk across the entire THING in 30 minutes.. she goes onto explain she’s not good at geometry.
First day she arrived, she cried herself to sleep and this became the running theme. Me me me me me. They uprooted her entire life. AND the animals. She goes on and rants about how long the step dad was home, only 4 months out of three years. They told her mom she had cancer but she doesn’t. And general negative talk on the military.
She says this is when her BPD developed. But that her siblings were fine. She never knew who was better or who was worse, her mom or stepdad. Her mom tried to hit her, but she was too big at this point and she was big enough to fight back. But when her stepdad was home she had to “let her do it”.
2 ½ years later-
Left and went back to California, and where she graduated a year early. Home life was bad but she wont get into that as long as her siblings live at home. At 16 she started dating her 25 year old boss. Got heartbroken for the first time every and spent 2 years recovering from that and “dabbled in prostitution from ages 16-17”.
Coming out story- 15 years old
She learned she was gay from starting at her cheer captions butt. Then she did softball and the pitcher was gorgeous and brilliant. Then she started dating her childhood best friend, and lost her virginity to her. She explained exactly how she lost her virginity, what they were wearing (colors included), talked about the windows in the place etc. etc. etc. She said it was really “cutesy”.
She has childhood amnesisa bc of the childhood trauma and her mom deleted photos so it was very traumatizing because she cannot remember without the photos. She finally goes on to the point of this particular rant and says she came out from her tiktoks and hashtagging lesbian.
18 years old
What every girl desires to be. She loooved her 18 yr old self. This is when she started dancing. She and her friends were just like “balling”, going to the Melting Pot. It was a TIME TO BE ALIIVE. This is when she had her first viral video. Goes on to talk about how she started her tiktok and why. She goes on about how much her views and followers went up.
This is when she met AMY. She was 27, met in a group chat. Amy venomed her for her drink, and then 2 weeks later Kayla flew out to meet her. Only talked for about 2 weeks and Amy told her she loved her. Amy got mad at Kayla for sleeping with Olivia on her birthday. I guess she was dating Olivia and Amy at the same time. (sounds familiar doesn’t it? Very common theme). She goes on to trash talk Amy.
October 2020, she said yes to being Amy’s girlfriend. Kayla said she just wanted someone to want her. That night she hit 100k on tiktok. She claims she was love bombed by Amy, and goes on to talk about how she was 18.5yrs old and Amy was 27 and tells us to make our assumptions (as if Andi isn’t a decade older than her?). Amy was very controlling, and Kayla would keep a list of the days that were good vs bad. She also explained how she was SA’d MULTIPLE times by Amy. She talked about faking her orgasms, so she would stop. She flew to visit every 2 weeks, odd considering how bad she says Amy was. She talks about how bad Amy’s parents were to the foster kids. She said that Amy would scream at the children as well.
Amy forced her to have intercourse allover her house, and forced her to do OF in specific areas. Talks about how Amy made her basically harass her ex. (Again, sounds familiar but Kayla is the one doing it now). She said that Amy made her go to the place the girl worked and gave her her panties?
She multiple times highspeed drive with Kayla in the car unbuckled when she was angry. She would accelerate.
She found her cat and gave him chicken nuggets.
Amy had an obsession of giving Kayla whatever she wanted. Which is again, odd.. Because it sounds like Amy made Kayla do whatever AMY wanted. She claims she watched her ex beat her dog. She then confided in the ex that she dated at 16. This is when she realized she had to get out. She then decided to move to GA, but NOT to be where Amy was. Not that! She didn’t really explain why she just rambled. This is also when she met her best friend Nicole. At this point she told Amy she wanted an open relationship (ONCE AGAIN, SOUNDS FAMILIAR!!!). Amy said if she did this she would off herself. And then in a cocky voice says “this would not change the fact that we were not exclusive anymore.” She then hooked up with one of her old friends in California.
She then had an orgy with Nicole and 3 other girls, and she contracted an STD. This was a great excuse for her not to have intercourse with Amy any longer.
Feb of 2021 it got really really bad. Kayla packed all the alcohol up so Amy wouldn’t off herself, and Kayla spent the entire next week with Nicole. On her 19th birthday, she spent the entire time she was with Amy celebrating, texting Taylor. And that is where the podcast ends.

Key Takeaways- TLDR

- Her relationships are a repeating cycle, they all sound the exact same.
-She dated her childhood bestfriend at 15, and then at age 16 dated her 25 year old boss. Then at 18 she dated Amy. Most of these relationships overlapped with one another, just like what she has done currently.
- Kayla was dating Olivia and Amy at the same time prior to becoming exclusive with Amy. Which I am a bit confused on how this came about because she said
- When the end was near with Amy, Kayla opened the relationship. And when she was still with Amy, (non exclusively) she hooked up with an old friend in California, had an orgy with her best friend Nicole and 3 other people, and then was openly talking to her future ex-girlfriend Taylor.
-Kayla claims that her mom was physically abusive (in a round about way)
